    The article presents the model of designing a customer management strategy using business ICT tools within a global sports association named Pure Jatomi. First, the basic categories essential for reaching a target of the project are explained (this section presents the results of literature analysis).Next, the general model of designing a customer management strategy (shown as a process map as well, developed on the basis of results of empirical investigation) is shown. Finally, ICT tools which enable acceleration of CLV growth (CLV = Customer Lifetime Value) are presented.

    This paper looks at Josef Rössler-Ořovský, the founding father of sport in the Czech lands, who was instrumental in the development of sports in the Czech lands and in Czechoslovakia from the 1880s until the end of the 1920s. J. Rössler-Ořovský was a sportsman in his body and soul. In addition to his own sporting career, he was known for his efforts to get a large number of sports clubs and associations established in the Czech lands and have them regis-tered in international sports federations. He also played a significant role in the Czech Olym-pic Committee. Josef Rössler-Ořovský, who would have celebrated his 150th birthday in 2019, is indisputably one of the greatest names in Czech sport.
    W artykule przedstawiono sylwetkę Josefa Rösslera-Ořovskiego, założyciela sportu na ziemiach czeskich, który od lat 80. XIX wieku do końca lat 20. ubiegłego wieku miał ogrom-ny wpływ na kształtowanie i rozwój sportu na ziemiach czeskich i w Czechosłowacji. J. Rös-sler-Ořovský był sportowcem ciałem i duszą. Poza własną karierą sportową, był znany ze swojej działalności założycielskiej, powołał do życia wiele klubów i stowarzyszeń sportowych z siedzibą w Czechach oraz zarejestrował je w międzynarodowych federacjach sportowych. Odegrał także znaczącą rolę w Czeskim Komitecie Olimpijskim. Josef Rössler-Ořovský, który w 2019 roku obchodziłby swoje 150. urodziny, był bez wątpienia jedną z największych oso-bistości czeskiego sportu.

    The paper discusses the development of sport for the disabled on the territory of the częstochowskie province existing in the years 1975–1998. The content of the text relates to activities of the Inter-Cooperative Centre of Sport, Rehabilitation, Tourism and Recreation of the Sports Association “Start” established on 17 November 1975 and the Provincial Sports Association of Labour Cooperatives “Start” set up on 27 January 1976. The article also outlines successful performances of disabled sportspeople from the province of częstochowskie. These were successes at both all-Poland and international events.
    W pracy omówiono rozwój sportu osób niepełnosprawnych na terenie istniejącego w latach 1975–1998 województwa częstochowskiego. Treści zamieszczone w tekście dotyczą działalności powołanego 17 listopada 1975 r. Międzyspółdzielnianego Ogniska Sportu, Rehabilitacji, Turystyki i Wypoczynku Zrzeszenia Sportowego „Start” i powstałego 27 stycznia 1976 r. Wojewódzkiego Zrzeszenia Sportowego Spółdzielczości Pracy „Start”. Przybliżono też sukcesy, które osiągali niepełnosprawni sportowcy z województwa częstochowskiego. Były to sukcesy zarówno w imprezach ogólnopolskich, jak i międzynarodowych.

    The article considers the issue of sailing licences which include: a sailor licence, a steersman licence and a captain licence. The legal character of sailing licences and the procedure in which they are issued is analysed. The judicial control of sailing licences is also considered. The granting of a sailing licence is an act confi rming that a person indicated therein has certain qualifi cations required for sailing. The legal character of the licence is similar to an administrative certifi cate. Granting the sailing licence can be conditional upon passing a formal examination by a person requesting the licence to be issued. The examination itself is regarded as an administrative act in law. The study proves that the Polish Sailing Association performs a function of a public administration unit issuing sailing licences. This means that it acts as a an administrative body in a functional dimension.The sailing licence is granted in the form of a declarative decision issued by the Polish Sailing Association. The proceeding for issuing such a decision is an administrative proceedings governed by the Code of Administrative Proceedings. The actions of the Polish Sailing Association as well as its failure to act are controlled by administrative courts.

    Modern physical culture was one of the many important processes that have taken over the political, social, and cultural life in Germany in the second half of the 19th century. At the turn of the 19th century in Germany, two big middle-class organizations have been formed to deal with physical activity affairs: the German Gymnastics Association (Deutsche Turnerschaft; the Turnverein) and dynamically-growing English sports. The paper demonstrates the relations between the Turnverein movement and the world of sport in Germany at the beginning of the 20th century. The German Gymnastics Association, an organization founded in the 60s of the 19th century, had long-time achievements initiated by the work of Friedrich Ludwig Jahn. Simultaneously, the world of sport in Germany was concentrated on the newly-founded in 1904 German Olympics Committee – primary organization bringing together several various federations of sport disciplines. It was an organization primarily brought into existence to coordinate the debut appearance of the German Empire in the restored by P. Coubertain Olympic Games.

    Background. The article is an introduction to the issues related to the World Games – non-Olympic sports. Inspiration to write this article was the future role of Wroclaw – the host city of the World Games in 2017. The aim of the article was to present the history and principles of non-Olympic sports of the Games, and the popularization and knowledge expansion of topics related to the event. Material and methods. The research material includes documents of the World Olympic Sports – The World Games and the International Association of The World Games (IWGA). Results and conclusions. The World Games are a great event, connecting more and more International Sports Federations, Athletes and Spectators. The World Games are a chance to show niche and new disciplines that may be included in the Olympic program in future. It is also a great sporting event, where the spectators can experience successes and failures of their favorite athletes, cheer for them, and for a while forget the obligations of everyday life and surrender to the magic of sport.

    Od chwili powstania, w roku 1894, ukraińskie towarzystwo gimnastyczne „Sokił” starało się realizować główny cel statutowy, jakim było propagowanie kultury fizycznej, zdrowego stylu życia, wyrabianie tężyzny fizycznej i wartości moralnych. Prowadząc przy tym szeroko zakrojoną, wielokierunkową działalność manifestującą patriotyzm i promocję rodzimych tradycji, nie zapominano w nim również o ukrytych głębiej celach niepodległościowych. Jednocząc własne filie wokół ukraińskiej idei narodowej, „Sokił” z czasem, w sposób autonomiczny, stał się „strażnikiem” procesu narodowo-wychowawczego. Umacnianiu narodowej świadomości miał służyć między innymi, opracowany z dbałością, fundament ustrojowy towarzystwa, na który składały się: statut, prawa, obowiązki członków, ceremoniał, regulaminy, ale również i sztandar, hymn, odznaczenia, hierarchiczne wyróżniki, a nade wszystko jeden z najbardziej rzucających się w oczy atrybutów, mający w sposób jednoznaczny kojarzyć się zarówno z ruchem sokolim jak i z samym towarzystwem – organizacyjny strój. Strojowi, wyznaczono nie tylko rolę wizytówki towarzystwa, mającej podkreślać przynależność do jednej formacji, ale swego rodzaju pomostu, łączącego i zrównującego wszystkie warstwy narodu, świadome słusznej pracy i walki za podstawowe idee sokolstwa. Pełniąc funkcję estetyczną i propagandową mundur stał się wyznacznikiem organizacyjnej solidarności, a jego posiadanie zaliczano w zakres obowiązków członków towarzystwa. Ale zanim sokilski mundur zyskał swój ostateczny wygląd, przeszedł szereg zmian, o czym stanowi niniejsze opracowanie. Jest ono jedną z części poświęconych mało znanemu i pomijanemu w piśmiennictwie, fragmentowi działalności towarzystwa - wspomnianemu ideologicznemu fundamentowi, którego strój był istotnym elementem.
    Ever since its founding in 1894, the Ukrainian sport association Sokił tried to propagate physical fitness, healthy lifestyle, gaining muscles and upholding moral principles in accordance with its statutory goal. While the association promoted patriotism and national traditions, it did not forget about its deeply rooted independence goals. By unifying its branches around the Ukrainian nationalism, Sokił, in due course, became the guardian responsible for the nation’s education process. To strengthen the nationalistic awareness, the association used its statute, laws, member duties, ceremonials, bylaws but also the banner, anthem, emblems, hierarchical emblems and distinctions, and above all, the Sokił uniform. Aside from being eye-catching, the uniform was supposed to symbolize the movement and the association itself. It was the flagship that emphasized belonging to the organization and a bridge that connected all social spheres of society which followed the Sokił spirit of honest labor and fighting for its ideals. By serving an esthetic and propagandist function, the uniform became the indicator of organizational solidarity and as such its ownership became part of the member duties.
