    Opis:
    This paper presents approach that develops currently applied methodology for obtaining spatial surrogates for spatial disaggregation of air emission inventories. Considered sector was small residential combustion in the Katowice Urban Zone, situated in the southern part of Poland, due to its importance in emission budget, also potential health threatening of the ‘low emission’ sector. Results presented in this paper use geostatistical techniques: ordinary and indicator kriging to show dependence between spatial distribution of the urban density development (described by the built areas) and distribution of the district heating infrastructure. Obtained results should be useful for emission inventory compilers, for air quality modelers as well as policymakers.
    Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia wkład do rozwoju metodyki stosowanej do przestrzennego podziału inwentaryzacji emisji z udziałem tzw. surogatów. Zastosowanie krigingu zwykłego oraz wskaźnikowego jest zaprezentowane dla rozkładu przestrzennego obszarów zabudowanych, który jest surogatem emisji zanieczyszczeń do powietrza z gospodarstw domowych. Gospodarstwa domowe są ważnym źródłem sprzyjającym powstawaniu zjawiska tzw. „niskiej emisji” w Polsce. Wyniki przedstawiające zależność przestrzenną pomiędzy rozkładem przestrzennym obszarów zabudowanych, a rozkładem infrastruktury Śląskiego Systemu Ciepłowniczego. Mogą być wykorzystane do przygotowania lokalnych inwentaryzacji emisji na potrzeby modelowania jakości powietrza, a także dla rozwoju lokalnych polityk jakości powietrza.

    Opis:
    The paper briefly presents a theory of games with finitely many infinite populations (types) each of whom has finitely many available strategies; the payoff of an individual player depends on the distribution of choices of strategies in all populations and his own particular choice. We give specific examples of applications of the theory in several areas: spatial allocation (of species), economic models – household economy and transportation networks. We also briefly discuss questions of computation of equilibria and relations of large games, as understood in the present paper, to ordinary matrix games, games with continuum of players and evolutionary game theory.
    Praca zawiera skrótowy opis gier ze skończoną liczbą nieskończonych populacji (typów), z których każda dysponuje skończoną liczbą strategii; wypłata pojedynczego gracza zależy od rozkładu wyborów strategii wszystkich populacji i jego własnego wyboru strategii. Podajemy konkretne przykłady zastosowań w kilku dziedzinach: alokacja przestrzenna (gatunków), modele ekonomiczne – model gospodarki drobnotowarowej i model ruchu drogowego. Dyskutujemy też krótko zagadnienia obliczeniowe i związki dużych gier, jak przedstawiono je w tym artykule, ze zwykłymi grami macierzowymi, grami z continuum graczy i z ewolucyją teorią gier.

    Land-use planning become an important thing to do because some types of land-use can have an impact to environment and life quality. Land-use planning is generally an activity that involves the allocation of activities in a particular land. Spatial Optimization can be applied in land-use planning activity. This research aims to make Robust Optimization model for spatial land-use allocation problem in Jatinangor. Optimization model for land-use allocation problem aims to determine the percentage of land-use changes that can maximize comprehensive index and compactness index. In land-use planning, there are several uncertainty factors. Therefore, it’s needed an approach that can handle uncertainty factor, the approach used in this research is Robust Optimization. The result of Robust Optimization Model for land-use allocation problem which is solved by the box uncertainty set approach is a computationally tractable optimization model.

    Opis:
    A central aim of the Regional Policy of the European Union is a regional cohesion. Major instruments are regional policy programs financed via various European funds. The allocation of regional policy funds varies dramatically across regions even when one controls for regional development indicators. Thus, what political economy factors determine the access to financial support of regional policy funds? With this regard, the paper highlights the role of local government performance. Beyond, it is tested for spatial dependencies, e.g. if knowledge spillovers determine the ability to capture regional funds. Pars pro toto empirical analyses focus on the allocation of SAPARD funds in Slovakia using cross-section as well as panel data. The government performance is measured as a technical efficiency of local public good provision and derived within a non-parametric DEA approach. Results show that the government efficiency has a positive significant impact on the structural funding allocation. Furthermore, spatial dependencies occur. With respect to the program duration, it is concluded that knowledge spillovers take place, supporting a successfully program participation.

    Artykuł zawiera wyniki badań rozłogu działek we wsi Filipowice, których właściciele zamieszkują poza obszarem tej wsi. Podstawowym elementem powierzchniowym, przyjętym do badań, były ciągłe części działek ewidencyjnych, objęte odrębną formą użytkowania. Do wykonania badań zastosowano specjalistyczne programy komputerowe, które wykorzystują dane z numerycznej mapy ewidencyjnej i części opisowej operatu ewidencji gruntów i budynków prowadzonej w systemie cyfrowym. Szczegółowymi badaniami objętych zostało 7 podstawowych cech rozłogu działek. Badania objęły analizę istniejącej struktury użytkowania gruntów różniczan oraz ocenę położenia i ukształtowania tych gruntów w badanej wsi. Wielkości uzyskanych parametrów poddano ocenie w zakresie ich poprawności, co pozwoliło na wskazanie wad w istniejącym układzie gruntowym i określenie kierunków jego poprawy.
    This study presents the results of research on the distribution of plots of land located in the village of Filipowice and which are owned by people who live outside the village area. The spatial elements included in the study were the continuous parts of cadastral plots for various types of land use. The study was performed using specialized software MKTopoGUTR, Plikpol and Pole. This software utilizes data in digital form from a numeric cadastre map and from the descriptive part of building registries. Detailed research was performed on 7 common types of plots in the land distribution. The study assesses the present usage of land whose owners live outside the village area as well as an evaluation of the allocation and pattern of these plots in the village. The obtained parameters were evaluated for the efficiency of usage, which made it possible to demonstrate the flaws in existing land allocation and to describe a course of improvement.

    Opis:
    This paper tackles the Multi-Robot Task Allocation problem. It consists of two distinct sets: a set of tasks (requiring resources), and a set of robots (offering resources). Then, the tasks are allocated to robots while optimizing a certain objective function subject to some constraints; e.g., allocating the maximum number of tasks, minimizing the distances traveled by the robots, etc. Previous works mainly optimized the temporal and spatial constraints, but no work focused on energetic constraints. Our main contribution is the introduction of energetic constraints on multi-robot task allocation problems. In addition, we propose an allocation method based on parallel distributed guided genetic algorithms and compare it to two state-of-the-art algorithms. The performed simulations and obtained results show the effectiveness and scalability of our solution, even in the case of a large number of robots and tasks. We believe that our contribution is applicable in many contemporary areas of research such as smart cities and related topics.
