The article focuses on the Social Potential of the organization. In accordance with the adopted objective, the components of the potential were described and the conditions of its shaping in the organization were characterized. Taking into account the possible states of combinations of the discussed potential factors, the types of situations important for the assessment of possibilities activating potential were proposed. They were analysed, on the one hand, indicating activities in the field of organization policy, appropriate for shaping, using and developing the potential, and on the other – showing the complexity of the issue and difficulties in the selection of the type of activities. The article shows the role of engagement and satisfaction in this area. It analyses the potential in relation to an individual, a group and an organization.

The Open Innovation is one of the practical concept of the innovation implementation in an environment of a contemporary organizations. The development of open and dynamic forms of systems network requires a new cognitive perspective for analysis of organizational social potential. The aim of this study is to draw attention to the need of social potential reorientation in the case open innovation paradigm. On the background of the proposed reorientation, the author attempts to identify the directions and key attributes of social potential in organization.

This article investigates the relationship between the social potential of city and the architecture and town-planning organization. As such the problem of public potential for urban planning tasks was analyzed on theoretical basis and research methods were selected. The social characteristics of Lwow were identified in the light of the city objective and subjective properties. An association between the social potential and the spatial potential was identified. A justification of the ways in which spatial changes are based on the requirements of structuralization and the effective use of public potential.
W artykule przedstawiono relacje występujące między potencjałem społecznym miasta a jego architekturą i organizacją urbanistyczną. Problem znaczenia potencjału społecznego w zagadnieniach planowania urbanistycznego przedstawiono w ujęciu teoretycznym i dokonano wyboru metod badania. Scharakteryzowano społeczny potencjał Lwowa z uwzględnieniem jego obiektywnych i subiektywnych właściwości. Wskazano na powiązania występujące między potencjałem społecznym a obszarem oraz przedstawiono przestrzenną lokalizację tego potencjału. Uzasadniono kierunki przestrzennych zmian na podstawie wymagań strukturalizacji i skutecznego wykorzystania społecznego potencjału.

Ludzie stanowią nieodłączny oraz niezastąpiony element każdego przedsiębiorstwa. Jednak nie zawsze stwierdzenie to było takie oczywiste. Często sukces organizacji przypisywany był jedynie produktom, będącym wyrobami danego przedsiębiorstwa, a jego miernikiem były wyłącznie dane liczbowe obrazujące kondycję finansową organizacji. Ostatnie dziesięciolecia zmieniły pogląd na ten temat. Obecnie o sukcesie przedsiębiorstwa oraz jego rozwoju decydują nie tylko dane liczbowe, ale przede wszystkim ludzie. Kadry zarządzające zwracają coraz większą uwagę na kształcenie swoich pracowników, dbanie o ich kondycję psychofizyczną, czy przywiązanie do miejsca pracy. Takie podejście buduje wśród menadżerów przekonanie o konieczności zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem skoncentrowanym na pracownikach i ich rozwoju. W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę pokazania teoretycznego wpływu, jaki ma zarządzanie wiedzą oraz potencjał społeczny organizacji na jej rozwój. W pierwszej kolejności autorka wskazała niektóre z dostępnych w literaturze przedmiotu definicji wiedzy oraz jej cech charakterystycznych. Następnie zostały przedstawione definicje zarządzania wiedzą wraz z korzyściami, które widoczne są dla przedsiębiorstwa stosującego tę koncepcję. Druga część artykułu dotyczy potencjału społecznego. Zostały w niej zawarte definicje tego pojęcia wraz z elementami, które o nim decydują. Autorka artykułu przytoczyła także działania systemowe, które podejmują przedsiębiorstwa skupiające się właśnie na swoim potencjale społecznym. Zostały wymienione oraz pokrótce opisane takie zagadnienia jak: organizacja ucząca się, zarządzanie kompetencjami pracowników, system komunikacji wewnętrznej, sieć organizacyjna, system telepracy (elastyczne zatrudnienie).
People are the inseparable and irreplaceable element of every company. However, this statement was not always so obvious. Success of the organization was often attributed only to its products and measure of this success was solely numerical data showing the financial condition of the enterprise. Last decades have changed view on this subject. At present, not only dry figures, but above all, people decide about the success of the company and its development. Managers pay more and more attention to the education of their employees, care for their psycho-physical condition or attachment to the workplace. Such an approach builds the belief among managers that it is necessary to manage a company focused on employees and their development. This article attempts to show the theoretical impact of knowledge management and social potential of organization on its development. First, the author pointed out some of the definitions of knowledge and its characteristics, available in the literature. Next, the definitions of knowledge management are presented along with the benefits that are visible to the company using this concept. The second part of the article concerns social potential. It contains definitions of this concept along with the elements that decide about it. The author of the article cited also systemic actions undertaken by enterprises focusing on their social potential. There were mentioned and briefly described such issues as: learning organization, management of employees’ competencies, internal communication system, organizational network, teleworking system (flexible employment).

The issue presented in the article is a proposal to look at a specific vision of the sociospatial organization of the city, namely the concept of the 15-minute city. In this proposed approach, this concept can become a source of inspiration for urban development, as well as a stimulating factor for the social potential of the urban community, which form the basis for the resurgence of cities after the crisis. In the theoretical realm, the basis for the considerations presented in this text is a socio-spatial perspective, according to which the city is perceived as a socio-spatial structure that is reproduced through daily social practices, reflecting both institutionalized patterns and the material organization of space. This text contributes to the discussion about the potential benefits of applying the 15-minute city concept for the development and resurgence of cities in line with the idea of livable cities, ensuring a high quality of life for their residents.
Prezentowana w artykule problematyka stanowi propozycję przyjrzenia się określonej wizji organizacji społeczno-przestrzennej miasta, jaką jest koncepcja miasta 15-minutowego. W proponowanym ujęciu koncepcja ta może stać się źródłem inspiracji dla rozwoju miast, a także czynnikiem stymulującym społeczny potencjał odradzenia miast po kryzysie. W sferze teoretycznej podstawą rozważań przedstawionych w niniejszym tekście jest perspektywa społeczno-przestrzenna, zgodnie z którą miasto postrzegane jest jako struktura społeczno-przestrzenna, która reprodukowana jest poprzez codzienne praktyki społeczne, odzwierciedlające zarówno zinstytucjonalizowane wzorce, jak i materialną organizację przestrzeni. Niniejszy tekst stanowi wkład w dyskusję na temat potencjalnych korzyści płynących z zastosowania koncepcji 15-minutowego miasta dla rozwoju i odrodzenia miast zgodnie z ideą miast przyjaznych do życia, zapewniających wysoką jakość życia ich mieszkańcom.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the directions and mechanisms of adapting the social policy of Belarus to the demographic, migration, communication and technological challenges of modern society. The purpose of the article is to search for social policy mechanisms aimed at developing human potential and stimulating the social activity of citizens. The author analyses the directions of the state’s social policy in the absence of the reproduction of labor resources, an increase in the demographic burden on the ablebodied population, an uneven distribution of labor resources, the emigration of skilled personnel, growth in automation and robotization of production, and a growing need to build effective communication between the government and the population. The article provides an extensive analysis of statistical information, sociological research data, the legislative framework, methods and social technologies of social policy. As a result of the study the author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to search for new mechanisms for implementing social policy in various fields. Therefore, in the field of demography, it is advisable to search for indirect measures to increase social guarantees for women in order to stimulate fertility, and transform the pension system in order to reduce the demographic burden on the working population. In the field of migration, it is advisable to take government action to prevent the outflow of highly qualified specialists abroad and to return of students who have received education abroad. In the field of social and labor relations existing personnel technologists should be improved and objective methods for evaluating the effectiveness of employees based on a competency-based approach should be introduced. In the field of communication between society and the state it is necessary to inform the public about the current state policy and to organize public discussions of the state initiatives before making them.

Podjęta w artykule refleksja nad akademickim statusem pracy socjalnej jest pokłosiem dyskusji w ramach seminarium naukowego zorganizowanego z inicjatywy Zarządu Sekcji Pracy Socjalnej Polskiego Towarzystwa Socjologicznego. W czerwcu 2022 r. w Zespole Pałacowo-Parkowym w Gułtowach, należącym do Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, podczas dwudniowego spotkania akademicy i eksperci z całej Polski dyskutowali nad obecnym stanem i wyzwaniami, jakie są istotne dla pracy socjalnej w kontekście jej profesjonalizacji i akademickiego potencjału. W ramach seminarium przeprowadzono pięć debat, każda z nich składała się merytorycznego wstępu oraz dyskusji. Autorzy niniejszego sprawozdania przedstawili wyrażane w ich trakcie opinie, wnioski i rekomendacje. Uczestnicy spotkania byli zgodni, że tego typu dyskusje powinny być cyklicznym wydarzeniem, ponieważ integrują wokół ważnych kwestii mających konsekwencję nie tylko dla rozwoju pracy socjalnej, lecz także dla efektywnego rozwiązywania ważnych problemów społecznych.
The reflection on the academic status of social work presented in the article is the result of a discussion during a scientific seminar organized on the initiative of the Board of the Social Work Section of the Polish Sociological Association. In June 2022, in the Gułtów Palace and Park Complex, property of the Adama Mickiewicz University in Poznań, during a two-day meeting, academics and experts from all over Poland discussed the current status and challenges that are important for social work in the context of its professionalization and academic potential. As part of the seminar, five debates were held, each consisting of a substantive introduction and discussion. The authors of this report presented their opinions, conclusions, and recommendations. The participants agreed that such discussions should be a cyclical event because they integrate around important issues having consequences not only for the development of social work but also for effectively dealing with critical social problems.

The article deals with the basis that human potential development is the most valuable resource of any society. Empirical research has been carried out to determine what expenditures and population opinion influence the formation of the human potential. The author’s definitione of “modernization of the human potential” has been suggested. The impact of income and expenditure of the household on the qualitative improvement of human potential was examined. It was established that education is the most important component of human development which provides wider choices for a person, shaping the quality of life. Implementing the method of facilitating as a basic tool of informal education was determined to be one of the directions of modernization of the educational system in Ukraine. It has been proved that overcoming negative effects in the employment sphere, improvement of the wage policy, and the development of social infrastructure are the priorities of sustainable development of within a region.

The purpose of the article is to emphasise the importance of the concept of empowerment in the process of individual understanding of the category of resources by the students of social rehabilitation, in the context of “creative potentials”, “life orientation”, with confrontation with persons who are marginalised, excluded, under social pressure, by stimulating their defensive abilities, capability to take a risk of stigma management, creating constructive social independence and a new quality of life. The subject of descriptive literature analysis, however, is a reflection on the shape of non-obvious social rehabilitation students’ competence in terms of their professional functioning in the area of inclusion/exclusion. The indicated dimensions of the issue determine a starting point for a pedagogical confrontation with real day-to-day influences in the contemporary academic area as well as in the context of social rehabilitation practice. The conducted analysis indicates the need to elaborate a concept of the subject which would enable future pedagogues to have a look at the “Others”, not only through the prism of their own understanding, but above all in the dialectic perspective of becoming the subject.

Literatura specjalistyczna w sposób jednoznaczny wskazuje na występowanie wielu czynników mających znaczenie w rozwoju regionów, zarówno ze sfery ekonomicznej, jak i pozaekonomicznej. Celem artykułu jest przegląd prac źródłowych dotyczących rozwoju i atrakcyjności regionu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem prac na temat kapitału społecznego, który jest jedną z ważniejszych determinant, mających wpływ na rozwój społeczno-gospodarczy danego obszaru w różnych układach przestrzennych. W niniejszej analizie dokonano próby ukazania wpływu człowieka na potencjał i rozwój województwa małopolskiego. Autorka zadała sobie pytanie, czy ten rodzaj kapitału jest i może być w przyszłości czynnikiem, który pobudza rozwój społeczno-ekonomiczny regionu. Z przeprowadzonych analiz wynika, iż potencjałem województwa małopolskiego są młodzi ludzie. Województwo to od kilku lat jest w czołówce województw pod względem liczby studentów przypadającej na 10 tys. osób w wieku 19-24 lat. Wskaźnik aktywności zawodowej osób młodych (15 i więcej lat) w 2010 r. wynosił 54,7%, a w 2015 - 55,5%1. Przeprowadzone badania dowiodły, że kapitał społeczny łączy się z aspektami gospodarczymi, a także z aspektami niezwiązanymi w sposób bezpośredni z gospodarką w regionie.
Social capital is one of the most important determinants that have an impact on the socio-economic development of a given region in various spatial systems. Specialist literature clearly indicates the presence of various crucial factors in the development of regions. We include both the economic and non-economic spheres. The purpose of the article is to review the source work, including development and the attractiveness of the region, with particular emphasis on social capital. This analysis attempts to show the human impact on the potential and development of the Małopolskie voivodeship. The author asked herself if this kind of capital is and may in the future be a factor that stimulates the socio-economic development of the region. The analysis shows that the potential of Małopolska is young people. For several years this area has been one of the top voivodeships, taking into account the number of students per 10,000 people aged 19-24. Activity rate of young people (15 and older): in 2010 it amounted to 54.7%, and in 2015 to 55.5%1. The conducted research proved that social capital is connected with economic aspects, but also not directly related to economy in the region.

The goal of the research is to develop a method for measuring topical social information impact on active people through monitoring the dynamics of social networks users interaction. We introduced the concept of interactive potential which can be determined through dynamics curve analysis in order to interact with information. Regular measuring of news’ interactive potential allows tracing the dynamics of social interest in some topics. We used the method to analyze trending topics in Ukrainian media and to describe the dynamics of people’s concern with political life and their readiness for public protests.

Opis:
The article considers the conceptual basis for strengthening social and labor potential of sustainable development in the context of economic efficiency and social justice. The essence of the categories social potential, social capital and social imperative in their interrelation with the social and labor sphere of society with the account of the needs of sustainable development is specified. Strengthening of social potential is considered as a complex of actions in such areas as education, culture, health care, economic and social spheres, social relations. The paper focuses on strong interconnections work – employment – labor potential – social potential – human development – sustainable development. A mechanism of strengthening social and labor potential through the transformation of employment in the context of the paradigm of sustainable development is suggested.
Artykuł przedstawia podstawy pojęciowe dla wzmocnienia społecznego i pracowniczego potencjału zrównoważonego rozwoju w kontekście efektywności ekonomicznej i sprawiedliwości społecznej. Ukazano istotę kategorii społeczny potencjał, kapitał społeczny i imperatyw społeczny w ich współzależności ze sferą społeczna i pracowniczą społeczeństwa, z uwzględnieniem potrzeb zrównoważonego rozwoju. Wzmacnianie potencjału społecznego następuje poprzez złożone działania mające miejsce w sferach takich, jak edukacja, kultura, opieka zdrowotna, sfery ekonomiczne i społeczne, a także relacje społeczne. Artykuł koncentruje się na silnej współzależności: praca – zatrudnienie – potencjał pracy – potencjał społeczny – rozwój człowieka – zrównoważony rozwój. Ponadto ukazano mechanizm wzmacniania potencjału społecznego i pracowniczego w kontekście paradygmatu rozwoju zrównoważonego.

Opis:
The paper shows the approach for creating corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy in the context of industrial potential. The authors identified and analyzed social and economic indexes that eventually establish development of social and labor component of industrial potential. The contribution of the paper into the subject area is principles of assessment the development social and labor component of industrial potential. The essence of this approach is to highlight income and outcome indicators that allows consider industrial potential according to resource-result approach. In addition, it helped us to establish two main indexes of its development: level of the development of reproductive potential that shows current opportunities and level of the development of performed potential that shows indexes of efficient use of social and labor resources. To achieve relevant results of assessment, we provide the grading system, which is a prerequisite for making complex recommendations due to the level of indexes. The paper puts the recommendations regarding boosting social-labor component of industrial potential, which could be used while shaping CSR strategy of the business.
W artykule przedstawiono podejście do tworzenia społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu (CSR) w kontekście potencjału przemysłowego. Autorzy zidentyfikowali i przeanalizowali wskaźniki społeczne i ekonomiczne, które ostatecznie wpływają na rozwój społecznego i pracowniczego składnika potencjału przemysłowego. Wkładem autorów w omawianą dziedzinę są zasady oceny rozwoju społecznego i pracowniczego komponentu potencjału przemysłowego. Istotą tego podejścia jest zwrócenie uwagi na wskaźniki dochodów i wyników, które umożliwiają uwzględnienie potencjału przemysłowego zgodnie z podejściem opartym na zasobach. Pomogło to ustalić dwa główne wskaźniki jego rozwoju: poziom rozwoju potencjału reprodukcyjnego, który pokazuje aktualne możliwości oraz poziom rozwoju potencjału, który pokazuje wskaźniki efektywnego wykorzystania zasobów społecznych i pracy. Aby uzyskać odpowiednie wyniki oceny, zapewniono system oceniania, który jest warunkiem wstępnym do złożonych zaleceń ze względu na poziom indeksów. W artykule przedstawiono zalecenia dotyczące zwiększenia społecznego i pracowniczego komponentu potencjału przemysłowego, które można wykorzystać przy kształtowaniu strategii CSR firmy.
