    The profession of social pedagogue is classified as a helping profession. Social pedagogues can prove their worth in various sectors and work with various target groups. The study analyses legislative possibilities and actual activities of social pedagogues in schools in Slovakia. Social pedagogues working in Slovak elementary and secondary schools carry out primary and secondary prevention, deal with pupils’ problem behaviour, screen for threatened pupils, provide counselling, actively work with pupils from socially disadvantaged environments, co-operate with pupils’ parents and with specialists. The author also briefly elucidates school preventive socio-educational work of social pedagogues in the other V4 countries comparable geographically, historically and culturally.

    Increased migration to Poland and at the same time an increase in anti-immigrant attitudes cause that social pedagoguesface a new challenge related to the integration andinclusion of migrants. In the article I focus on a transformation of social pedagogues roles due to the mentioned above social changes and new challenges – the discourse the introduces symbolic violence, learned helplessness and lack of agency of migrants, and the insufficient number of social pedagogues with intercultural and andragogicalcompetence. Based on these difficulties faced by social pedagogues I describe what could be their role in the process of integration of migrants and the host society.

    Despite the fact that the legislation of the Slovak Republic enables social pedagogues to perform activities in schools, at present the socio-pedagogical work in school is performed to a minimum extent. This contribution aims to highlight its benefit not only in the local but also in the society-wide scale. It specifies in more detail possibilities for activities of a social pedagogue in preventing and dealing with socio-pathological phenomena in the school environment. Its aim is to point out to the necessity of establishing the profession of the social pedagogue in schools as a significant element of professionalisation of prevention of various forms of pupils’ deviant behaviour.

    Opis:
    The article provides a reflection on the social inclusion of children and young people with IDD and associated psychiatric comorbidity through the eyes of practitioners and academics from Norway, Scotland, Sweden, and Romania. Using an autoethnographic approach to share the first-hand experiences of supporting children and young adults with IDD from the perspective of experienced practitioners, telling their stories (individual case studies) and mapping the challenges and successes (best practice) through these professional narratives. The article also acknowledges psychiatric comorbidity in young people with IDD and how psychiatric disorders can impact social inclusion. The results of the self-reflection of active practitioners involved with complex disabilities may serve as a guide for others in sharing best practices and facing difficulties. It also shows the policy developments on a timeline of their practice. Practice-informed issues clinicians and support staff face may aid the training and share the knowledge with other experts. The value added is the interprofessional exchange created by the international contributors.

    The article deals with the problem of juvenile delinquency and crime as well as with the problem of crime against juveniles.     Współczesność coraz częściej zaskakuje nieprzewidywalnymi przemianami zarówno w skali makro-, mezo-, jak i mikrospołecznej. Po wielokroć z niedowierzaniem przyglądamy się zachodzącym wokół nas procesom, dostrzegamy coraz wyraźniej zarysowujący się oportunizm społeczny wobec przemian, w których człowieczeństwo przestaje mieć wymiar etyczny, w którym spektrum jest dobro człowieka, a prawda interpretowana jest coraz częściej przez pryzmat korzyści. Nowe postawy społeczne manifestowane są także w życiu rodziców, ich aktywności w wirtualnej przestrzeni (sharentingu) i w wypełnianiu ról rodzicielskich. Choć trudno przewidzieć, w jakim kierunku te procesy zmierzają, to w szczególności rodzice zobowiązani są podejmować działania, wyrażając brak akceptacji dla przedmiotowego pojmowania dziecka. Przedmiotem analizy w prezentowanym artykule jest refleksja nad zjawiskiem sharentingu (upowszechniania przez rodziców informacji i wizerunku dotyczących swoich dzieci na łamach portali społecznościowych) odniesiona do opinii użytkowników Internetu. Kontekst zmian aktywności rodziców uwidocznia w mojej ocenie również nową funkcję społeczną pedagoga jako organizatora sieci informacji o zagrożeniach wynikających z niewłaściwego postępowania w mediach społecznościowych oraz tworzenie powiązań pomiędzy różnymi instytucjami publicznymi i niepublicznymi zajmującymi się dobrem dziecka.
    Modern age baffles us frequently with unforseeable changes on macro-, meso and microsocial levels. How often do we not observe with unbelieving eyes changes in full progress around us, how often are we stunned by the ever more obvious social opportunizm in the face of changes which renounce humaneness and humanity which focus on human weal and happiness, as our ethical guidline, and instead „truth” is put on the same level with gain and advantage. New social attitudes are likewise apparent in the sphere of parenthood, in the parents’ involvement in cyberspace (sharenting) and in the performing of their parental role. Though future developments are impossible to predict, it is the parents’ obligation and responsibility to take over control in this case and not give their offspring too much free hand in such decisive and particular matters. Subject of the submitted paper are considerations on the issue of sharenting, i.e. the parents’ active involvement in the publishing of their offsprings’ personal information and image on social networks’ portals and the opinion of internet users. The scale of changes in parenting emphasises in my opinion a new social responsability of the pedagogue, who should take on the challenge and act as a coordinator who compiles and makes accessible information about improper and careless use of social media and establishes connections and grids between various public and non public institutions and organizations which act in the name of child welfare.

    Przedmiotem analizy w prezentowanym artykule jest refleksja nad zjawiskiem sharentingu (upowszechniania przez rodziców informacji i wizerunku dotyczących swoich dzieci na łamach portali społecznościowych) odniesiona do opinii użytkowników internetu. Kontekst zmian aktywności rodziców uwidocznia w mojej ocenie również nową funkcję społeczną pedagoga jako organizatora sieci informacji o zagrożeniach wynikających z niewłaściwego postępowania w mediach społecznościowych oraz twórcypowiązań pomiędzy różnymi instytucjami publicznymi i niepublicznymi zajmującymi się dobrem dziecka.
    The subject of the analysis in the presented article is the reflection on the phenomenon ofsharenting (dissemination of information and image of their children on the pages of social mediaby the parents) related to the opinion of Internet users. The context of changes in parental activity,in my opinion, also reveals the new social function of the pedagogue as the organizer of the information network on the dangers of improper conduct in social media and the creation of links between various public and private institutions dealing with the child's good.

    The article is devoted to the problem of the training of social pedagogues for social and legal protection of the individual. The works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists that present discussions on the training of specialists of socio-pedagogical work to advocacy have been analyzed in the paper. It has been found out that professional and legal education of social pedagogues in today's conditions becomes the key to effective realizing the social and legal protection of various population groups, including children and youth.
    Artykuł poświęcony jest zagadnieniu kształcenia pedagogów społecznych do prawnej i społecznej ochrony jednostek. Przedstawiono w nim analizę prac ukraińskich i zagranicznych naukowców ukazującą dyskusję na temat przygotowania specjalistów pracy socjo-pedagogicznej do rzecznictwa prawnego. Wykazano, że zawodowa i prawna edukacja pedagogów socjalnych staje się dzisiaj gwarancją ochrony socjalnej i prawnej różnych grup, w tym dzieci i młodzieży.
