The aim of the article is to present the idea of the functioning of Fin-Tech firms in the market for financial services, with particular emphasis on consumer finance. Globalization and technology cause changes in a number of markets, goods or services. An interesting situation exists in the financial markets, where there are not only institutions subject to restrictive regulations (eg. banks), but also many non-banks. Banks emphasize the concept of a level playing field for all market actors who provide similar services and take similar risks. The question is whether banks are sufficiently agile, flexible and cost competitive. Banks do not always keep up with changes, technology companies can therefore take over part of their clients. However, banks enjoy greater confidence, as safe traders, which are subject to regulation and supervision by the state. The activity of Fin-Tech firms raises questions about the level playing field, the assessment of competition and cooperation, as well as the desirability of subjecting these new competitors regulation of banks, insurance companies, investment firms, payment institutions and electronic money institutions.

The article deals with the practical aspects of the prices formation of the mechanized services for households. The volumes of production of agricultural products by households in the dynamics were presented in the article. The manners of processing of land and the ratio of their shares were represented. The data used by the authors of the sociological survey were received to identify trends in price changes for mechanized agricultural services. On the basis of the conducted questionnaire survey, the analysis of changes in the price and cost of the main types of mechanized services consumed by households in the process of agricultural activity, the approaches and motives of service providers to the formation of their prices were studied, the reasons for the deviations of actual prices for mechanized services against substantiated. The factors of choice of buyers of agricultural agricultural services were filed. The calculation of prices for agricultural agricultural services according to the complexity of their implementation was carried out. The determinants of the price of production mechanized agricultural services were analyzed. The dynamics of the presence of tractors and combine harvesters in the farms of the rural population of the Lviv region is shown in this study.

The aim of this study was to identify impediments to the growth of Cloud Computing services in Poland. Diagnosis of diversed opinions of the respondents in the group led to the conclusion that the projects stakeholders' level of knowledge in Polish organizations about cloud computing services is small, the implementations are carried out without a thorough feasibility study and the choice of service and development model corresponds to the business model in a manner insufficient to achieve success in advanced IT technology conditions. The study was exploratory in nature due to its pioneering nature.

Postal services market in Poland has been liberalising for several years. It manifests itself through reduction of reserved area (market which is reserved for the public postal operator) and through increasing of the number of private postal operators. But these changes didn't have a major impact on the transformation of the Polish postal market. This market is regulated by a government appointed body and position of public postal operator – Poczta Polska SA – is protected by law. According to the European Directive opening up the postal market to the competition, by 1 January 2011 Poland must implement new Postal Law. New law will change, among other things, organizational and financial conditions of business activity of Poczta Polska SA. Taking into consideration the fact that the current financial standing of the Polish public postal operator is difficult, it should be underlined that Poczta Polska SA will be forced to take radical restructuring action. The main purpose of this article is to recognize the situation in the postal services market in Poland in the context of its full liberalisation and opening to the competition. The partial goals of this article are as follows: – to give an overview of the postal services market in Poland, – to show prospects of changes of this market in the face of EU Directives implementation, – to present the situation and purpose of Poczta Polska SA in the context of full liberalisation of the postal services market.

Korzystanie z usług mechanizacyjnych umożliwia bardziej wydajne realizowanie prac polowych oraz daje możliwość wprowadzania postępu naukowo-technicznego bez konieczności ponoszenia dodatkowych nakładów inwestycyjnych. W artykule próbowano określić tendencje występujące na rynku usług mechanizacyjnych dla rolnictwa w Polsce w latach 2010-2017. Badano zmiany liczby podmiotów świadczących usługi mechanizacyjne, a także dynamikę wartości zakupionych usług mechanizacyjnych oraz udział usług w całości nakładów ponoszonych na produkcję rolniczą. Stwierdzono, że w latach 2010-2017 wzrost znaczenia usług mechanizacyjnych w krajowym rolnictwie został zahamowany. Wartość zakupionych usług wyrażona w cenach stałych uległa zmniejszeniu. Spadkową tendencję odnotowano również w udziale usług mechanizacyjnych w zużyciu pośrednim. Liczba podmiotów świadczących usługi mechanizacyjne dla rolnictwa wprawdzie wzrosła, jednak wzrost był obserwowany jedynie w początkowych latach analizowanego okresu. Od 2015 r. liczba podmiotów systematycznie malała. Słabnące zainteresowanie usługami mechanizacyjnymi prawdopodobnie wynika z pewnego nasycenia gospodarstw nowoczesnym sprzętem rolniczym w związku z inwestycjami wspomaganymi środkami finansowymi UE.
The article attempts to identify trends on the market of mechanization services for agriculture in Poland in 2010-2017. Changes in the number of entities providing mechanization services, as well as the dynamics of the value of purchased mechanization services and the share of services in total expenditures incurred on agricultural production were analyzed. It was found that in 2010-2017 the increase in the importance of mechanization services was halted. The value of purchased services expressed in fixed prices decreased. A downward trend was also noted in the share of mechanization services in intermediate consumption. Although the number of entities providing mechanization services for agriculture increased, the increase was only observed in the initial years of the analyzed period. The weakening interest in mechanization services is probably due to a certain saturation of farms with modern agricultural equipment in connection with investments supported by EU financial resources

The objective of this paper, entitled “An Analysis of EBA Soft Law on the Payment Services Market” is firstly to reconstruct the substantive content of the main types of EBA soft law for the payment services market and group the resulting findings according to thematically classified procedural standards and principles (as related, for example, to data aggregation) specified by EBA both for payment services providers, consumers and supervisory authorities. The second aim is to identify and classify the functions and roles arising therefrom and fulfilled by EBA soft law for the payment services market. The third research goal of this project is to answer the following question: is it possible to argue that EBA soft law on the payment services market has a special or distinct character compared to soft law from other segments of the European Union’s financial market?
Celem opracowania Analiza soft law EBA na rynku usług płatniczych stało się po pierwsze, dokonanie materialnej rekonstrukcji głównych typów soft law EBA dla rynku usług płatniczych i pogrupowanie powstałej stąd materii w oparciu o wyodrębnione tematycznie określone przez EBA standardy i wzorce postępowań, tak dla dostawców usług płatniczych, jak i dla konsumenta rynku usług płatniczych oraz nadzorców (np. w zakresie agregacji danych). Po drugie, celem przedstawianego artykułu było również wyodrębnienie i nazwanie wynikających stąd funkcji i roli, jakie soft law EBA pełni na rynku usług płatniczych. Trzecim zamierzeniem badawczym stało się udzielenie odpowiedzi na pytanie czy w porównaniu do soft law z pozostałych segmentów rynku finansowego UE można w odniesieniu do soft law EBA na rynku usług płatniczych argumentować o istnieniu szczególnej specyfiki czy podziału.

The article presents the issue of the transport of goods in relation to sea transport. Sea transport has been known to mankind for a long time. Currently, maritime transport is not limited only to the transport of goods and/or passengers along sea routes, which are carried out between seaports using appropriately adapted means of transport. It is a branch of transport, which consists of a very good knowledge of navigation, highly specialized staff, and a wide range of containers for transporting various types of cargo, often requiring specialized conditions. In addition, sea transport is perfectly combined with intermodal transport, so that in the end, the transport process is the most beneficial for all participants, i.e., the customers, sellers, distributors, and manufacturers. The main purpose of the article was to present the volume of goods transported in this branch of transport. The article, after introducing the issue, presents the classification of sea vessels, refers to the market of maritime transport services and its conditions for further development, and analyzes the overall volume of goods transported in the seaports of Gdańsk and Gdynia against the background of other Polish seaports in the years 2011-2021.

As a result, the problem of synthetic depiction of different spatial arrangements of such type of variables gains a special meaning. Its solution is enabled by complex spatial typology of market services.

The article summarizes the theoretical aspects of ethical marketing as a modern tool for forming partnerships with bank customers. The hypothesis is substantiated that it is possible to restore the lost trust of clients to banking institutions only on the basis of an individual approach built on the principles of ethical marketing. The place and role of ethical marketing in the system of the company's holistic marketing is specified. The state of application of marketing tools by banks that operate on the Ukrainian market is analyzed. It is proved that at present the marketing concept dominates, within which the main efforts of banks are directed to price stimulation of banking products. To prevent situations of unethical behavior of banks in relation to customers, a classification of ethical marketing risks that arise in the process of interaction of customers with a banking institution is proposed.

The article outlines one of the methods used by companies in order to increase effectiveness of their operations by separating back-office functions to so called shared service centres. From international corporations point of view, shared service centres are created as a result of centralisation of particular back-office function and locating it in one place as separate entity rendering services for the part of or the whole company. Higher effectiveness of new entities is supposed to be achieved by lower global costs and increase in quality of services. The article describes decision making process when choosing between shared services and outsourcing, as well as the most important factors that should be taken into account when creating shared services and main methods of managing such entities, especially the chargeback system. Forecasts for development and future of shared services are summing up the article.

Aim. The article aims to analyse the manifestations of information asymmetry in the market of educational services to develop proposals for improving the communication programmes of higher education institutions of Ukraine. Methods. The authors describe the display of information asymmetry in the market of educational services based on a sociological study among the 1st and 2nd-year students of Ukrainian universities, which aimed to study the criteria for choosing an educational programme. The authors used correlation analysis to assess the statistical significance of the influence of individual criteria on the selection of entrants. The survey was conducted at the universities in Ukraine that provide educational services on the bachelor’s degree specialities of 073 Management and 075 Marketing. A critical and comparative analysis of state regulatory measures to overcome information asymmetry was also applied. Results. The annual decrease in the number of university entrants in Ukraine and around the world has led to increased competition among universities, resulting in an escalation of information asymmetry in the market of educational services and its ‘lemonisation’. Conclusions. According to the results of the sociological study, despite the high availability of sources of information, at the time of entering the university, the vast majority of students did not consider themselves sufficiently informed about the benefits of studying in the chosen educational and professional programme. Several state regulatory measures have been taken to provide quality educational services in Ukraine and ensure unbiased information about universities. It was revealed that by allocating state-funded places for a specific speciality and university, the government significantly influences the choice of applicants. However, it should be noted that such impact is not very significant for applicants with high scores. Given this, the impact and effectiveness of both the state regulation system of universities in Ukraine and its specific instruments require further study. Cognitive value. The study results contribute to overcoming the asymmetry of information in the market of educational services, serve as a methodological basis for improving the communication programmes of higher education institutions, promote healthy competition among them. The findings of this study can be considered an essential contribution to future research.
