    W artykule zaprezentowano informacje dotyczące wyrobów typu islandzkiego określanych jako skyr, które stanowią jedną z innowacji w segmencie produktów mlecznych na polskim rynku. Celem pracy była analiza preferencji konsumenckich dotyczących wybranych wyrobów typu islandzkiego z wsadem owocowym oraz próba oceny, czy wyroby tego typu są akceptowane przez konsumentów. Dokonano szczegółowej analizy składu wybranych do badań produktów, pochodzących od trzech różnych producentów. Wykazano różnice między nimi wykorzystując metodę trójkątową oraz zbadano preferencje konsumentów stosując metodę skalowania. Wyniki badań wskazały, że badane produkty różniły się między sobą istotnie, pomimo iż należały do wyrobów tego samego typu. Były one atrakcyjne dla konsumentów pod względem sensorycznym i mogą stanowić wartościowy składnik diety, głównie z uwagi na zawartość białka, witamin oraz minerałów.
    In this work the information regarding Icelandic type products known as skyr, which are one of the innovations in the dairy products segment on the Polish market was presented. The aim of the study was to analyze consumer preferences regarding selected Icelandic type products with fruit input and to try to assess whether products of this type are accepted by consumers. A detailed analysis of the composition of products selected for testing from three different manufacturers was performed. Differences between them were shown using the triangle method and consumer preferences were tested using the scaling method. The results of own research indicate that the tested products may differ significantly, even though they belong to products of the same type. These products are attractive to consumers in sensory terms and can be a valuable component of the diet, mainly due to the content of protein, vitamins and minerals.

    The paper presents the scaling-based approach to analysis and prediction of magnetic anisotropy in grain-oriented steels. Results of the anisotropy scaling indicate the existence of two universality classes. The hybrid approach to prediction of magnetic anisotropy, combining the scaling analysis with the ODFs method, is proposed. This approach is examined in prediction of angular dependencies of magnetic induction as well as magnetization curves for the 111-35S5 steel. It is shown that it is possible to predict anisotropy of magnetic properties based on measurements in three arbitrary directions for φ = 0°, 60° and 90°. The relatively small errors between predicted and measured values of magnetic induction are obtained.

    Analiza danych statystycznych wskazuje na duże zróżnicowanie w generowaniu wartości dodanej brutto przez sektor usług w różnych państwach. Celem przeprowadzonych badań było określenie rozwoju pod tym względem wybranych krajów na świecie oraz wskazanie zachodzących między nimi podobieństw. W celu wyodrębnienia grupy krajów o podobnym poziomie rozwoju sektora usług zastosowano metodę Warda oraz skalowanie wielowymiarowe. (fragment tekstu)
    Intensive development of the service sector (as evidenced by economic indicators, such as gross value added and employment levels) pointed out the similarities and differences existing in the world. The study used statistical data on gross value added, employed, exports and imports of services and spending on research and development. To conduct a comparative analysis Ward methods and multidimensional scaling were used. The application of these methods made it possible to isolate groups of countries are similar in terms of the development of the services sector and the countries in which this development is significantly different from the others.     We have analysed the research findings on the universality class and discussed the connection between the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) universality class and the ballistic deposition model in microscopic rules. In one dimension and 1+1 dimensions deviations are not important in the presence of noise. At the same time, they are very relevant for higher dimensions or deterministic evolution. Mostly, in the analyses a correction scale higher than 1280 has not been studied yet. Therefore, the growth of the interface for finite system size [...] value predicted by the KPZ universality class is still predominant. Also, values of [...] obtained from literature are consistent with the expected KPZ values of [...] connection between the ballistic deposition and the KPZ equation through the limiting procedure and by applying the perturbation method was also presented.

    In this paper a scaling approach for the solution of 2D FE models of electric machines is proposed. This allows a geometrical and stator and rotor resistance scaling as well as a rewinding of a squirrel cage induction machine enabling an efficient numerical optimization. The 2D FEM solutions of a reference machine are calculated by a model based hybrid numeric induction machine simulation approach. In contrast to already known scaling procedures for synchronous machines the FEM solutions of the induction machine are scaled in the stator-current-rotor-frequency-plane and then transformed to the torque-speed-map. This gives the possibility to use a new time scaling factor that is necessary to keep a constant field distribution. The scaling procedure is validated by the finite element method and used in a numerical optimization process for the sizing of an electric vehicle traction drive considering the gear ratio. The results show that the scaling procedure is very accurate, computational very efficient and suitable for the use in machine design optimization.

    Methods of multi-parameter data visualization through the transformation of multidimensional space into two-dimensional one allow to present multidimensional data on computer screen, thus making it possible to conduct a qualitative analysis of this data in the most natural way for human – by a sense of sight. In the paper a comparison was made to show the efficiency of selected seven methods of multidimensional visualization and further, to analyze data describing various coal type samples. Each of the methods was verified by checking how precisely a coal type can be classified when a given method is applied. For this purpose, a special criterion was designed to allow an evaluation of the results obtained by means of each of these methods. Detailed information included presentation of methods, elaborated algorithms, accepted parameters for best results as well the results. The framework for the comparison of the analyzed multi-parameter visualization methods includes: observational tunnels method multidimensional scaling MDS, principal component analysis PCA, relevance maps, autoassociative neural networks, Kohonen maps and parallel coordinates method.

    W pracy przeprowadzono analizę preferencji polskich konsumentów oleju rzepakowego z wykorzystaniem metod wielowymiarowych. Zwrócono uwagę na zbieżności i różnice zastosowania skalowania wielowymiarowego, analizy skupień i analizy PROFIT. Wykazano, że decyzje zakupowe konsumentów olejów rzepakowych w zależności od fazy życia respondentów różnią się pod względem postrzegania smaku tego oleju, jego ceny, naturalności i dotychczasowego doświadczenia.
    In the paper the use of multivariate methods in the analysis of consumer preferences was presented. The convergences and differences of the multidimensional scaling to cluster analysis and PRPFIT method were shown. As an example of using those methods were the results of a survey about the consumption of rapeseed oil in Poland. In a result of this research it has been shown that purchasing decisions consumers were varied, especially in terms of consumers' perception of the taste of rapeseed oil, its naturalness and price and previous experience in its consumption.
