Pozytywny stan samopoczucia w wymiarze psychicznym, fizycznym i społecznym pozwala na postrzeganie życia jako satysfakcjonującego i szczęśliwego. Przejście szkoły na tryb kształcenia zdalnego w wyniku pandemii, wywołanej koronawirusem SARS-CoV-2, zaowocowało licznymi sytuacjami trudnymi, a te wpłynęły na samopoczucie dzieci i młodzieży. Celem podjętych badań było określenie retrospektywnego i realnego samopoczucia uczniów. Poszukiwano ponadto związku poziomu samopoczucia ze zmiennymi: płci, wieku, klasy, miejsca zamieszkania i sytuacji materialnej.
A positive state of mental, physical, and social well-being allows one to perceive life as fulfilling and happy. The transition of schools to a distance learning mode as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic resulted in numerous challenging situations, and these situations affected the well-being of children and adolescents. The research undertaken aimed to determine the retrospective and real-world well-being of students. Moreover, the following variables were sought to be related to the level of well-being: gender, age, grade, place of residence, and material situation.

In the information society conditions and social needs are constantly changing. The development of information technology together with the new methods of gathering and distributing information that have been generated open the way to alternative forms of education in knowledge society. Intensive development of distance education is a response to changes caused by the escalating pace of innovation in many areas of social and economic life. Computers and the Internet are replacing the previous model of traditional education. The development of technology has contributed to the search of mobile forms of learning, or e-learning. E-learning allows you to fill gaps in the traditional teaching. Modern techniques allow you to find previously unknown solutions that can be used to streamline the process of distance learning. Both traditional education and the world of business treat e-learning as an effective tool that supports science. The convenient application of this tool, the opportunity to individually decide about the time devoted to studying, low costs and easy access speak for applying e-learning as an educational method. This article attempts to present the role of the Internet in the educational process. The aim of the paper was to show the influence of e-learning on raising the efficiency of education.

Opis:
Katedra techniky a informačných technológií rieši projekty so zameraním na vzdialené laboratóriá v dištančných formách vzdelávania, ktoré môžu používať študenti odbornej univerzitnej katedry jednak v dištančnej forme a zároveň aj v rámci kontaktných hodín na cvičeniach. Pre vytvorenie vzdialených laboratórií pre pneumatický systém budú použité technické prostriedky využívajúce prvky PLC spolu s internetovým rozhraním pre vzdialený prístup a priamy prístup, metodiky a vzdelávacie materiály vhodné pre zaradenie do vzdelávacieho procesu. Overením navrhovaných experimentov bude zároveň riešený aj výskum vplyvu takýchto experimentov pre rozvoj kompetencií budúcich učiteľov odborných technických predmetov, čo je v súčasnosti veľmi potrebné, vzhľadom na rozvoj duálneho vzdelávania. Prínos projektu spočíva v tom, že vzdialený prístup k laboratóriám spolu s kontaktným vyučovaním umožní užívateľovi získavať nové poznatky z oblasti pneumatického systému. Predkladaný projekt svojimi výstupmi prispeje k zvýšeniu kompetencií učiteľov odborných technických predmetov z predmetnej oblasti.
The Department of Technique and Information Technologies deals with problems focused on remote laboratories in the distant forms of education, which can be used by students of specialised university department in the distant form, as well as, during contact hours at seminars. To create remote laboratories for pneumatic system will be used hardware elements using the PLC together with a web interface for remote access and direct approach, methodology and educational materials suitable for inclusion in the educational process. By verification of the proposed experiments will also be solved the impact of such experiments on developing the competence of future teachers of technical subjects, which is currently very necessary, given the development of dual education. Contribution of the project lies in the fact that remote access to laboratories along with contact teaching allows the user to gain new knowledge in the field of pneumatic system. The present project will by its outputs contribute to increasing competencies of teachers of technical subjects in this area.

This study aimed to evaluate the COVID-19 pandemic anxiety experienced by students in Poland and its impact on their: social support, satisfaction with studying online and expectations of success in life. The data was obtained from a survey of Polish public and private university students. The research presented here examined the environmental and psychosocial effects of social withdrawal during the first period of the pandemic on the well-being and confidence in their chances for success in academic study. Recognising the individual and social condition of adolescents standing at the threshold of social maturity is essential to understanding the pedagogical and motivational consequences of institutional anti-pandemic regulation.

Autor przedstawia koncepcję kształcenia kartografów na Wydziale Geografii Uniwersytetu Moskiewskiego. Opiera się ona na integracji wiedzy z zakresu trzech pokrewnych dziedzin: kartografii, geoinformatyki i teledetekcji.
Contemporary cartography can not be contained within the frames of cartographical-geodesic or geographical disciplines. It should be considered as one of the sciences of Earth and the planets, and its subject is a systematic cartographic presentation and spatial modeling of geosystems. Such approach defines the organization of cartographers' education at Lomonosov Moscow State University, which in turn influences the educational policy and standards of other Russian universities. The fundamental rule of university education of cartographers is the integration of three basic disciplines: cartography, geoinformaties and remote sensing, which form basic teaching modules. Particular significance is given to the conservatism in university training of cartographers. According to the author, reorganization and changes are against the spirit of academic education. innovations should be introduced only as a result of scientific schools' development and refinement of scientific experience. University knowledge develops through accumulating, broadening and addition of the new to the already known. Innovation in education is manifested in the introduction of new scientific and practical ideas, renewal and improvement of methodology, technology and educational resources leading to formation of knowledge and competence. innovative means include: 1) electronic handbooks and video lectures, 2) computer exercises, 3) multimedia presentations and slides, 4) electronic school-methodological atlases, 5) school and training GIS databases, 6) dictionaries, glossaries and directories, 7) electronic scientific monographies, 8) on-line seminars, classes, Wi-Fi access.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja opinii uczniów klas starszych szkoły podstawowej (klasy V–VIII) oraz szkół ponadpodstawowych na temat różnych aspektów zdalnej edukacji, jak jej organizacja i przebieg, trudności obiektywne i subiektywne deklarowane przez uczniów, wsparcie ze strony środowiska szkolnego i rodzinnego, relacje rówieśnicze. Do badania wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego oraz technikę ankiety. Badanie przeprowadzono wśród uczniów gliwickich szkół w formie online w ramach współpracy Uniwersytetu Śląskiego ze środowiskiem lokalnym. Zebrany materiał empiryczny pokazuje ocenę zdalnej edukacji przez uczniów. Do jej zalet zaliczyli: łatwość posługiwania się narzędziami cyfrowymi oraz wsparcie ze strony rodziców i nauczycieli. Wśród negatywnych stron nauki online wymienili: trudności ze skupieniem uwagi, organizacją pracy własnej i samodyscypliną, spadek zaangażowania, negatywne emocje (stres, zdenerwowanie, zmęczenie, lęk dotyczący zdawalności egzaminów), brak bezpośrednich kontaktów z rówieśnikami. Ogólnie uczniowie gorzej ocenili jakość zdalnej edukacji w porównaniu z tradycyjną. Wnioski z badań stały się podstawą do sformułowania propozycji rekomendacji służących poprawie jakości edukacji w podobnych sytuacjach.
The aim of the article is to present the opinions of students from older grades of primary school (grades V–VIII) as well as secondary school students on various aspects of remote education, such as: its organization, objective and subjective difficulties declared by students, support from the school, family and peers. A diagnostic survey and a questionnaire technique were used for the study. The research was conducted online among students from Gliwice schools, as part of the cooperation between the University of Silesia and the local community. The collected empirical material reveals the students’ opinions on remote education. Its advantages include: ease of use of digital tools and support from parents and teachers. Among the negative sides of online learning, they mention: difficulties with focusing attention, the necessity to organize one’s own work and self-discipline, decreased involvement, negative emotions (stress, nervousness, fatigue, fear of failing exams), lack of direct contact with peers. Overall, the students assessed the quality of remote education as worse compared to traditional education. The conclusions from the research became the basis for formulating recommendations for the improvement of the quality of education in similar situations.

Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań jakościowych, których celem było poznanie opinii studentów pedagogiki specjalnej na temat negatywnych aspektów edukacji online, wynikających z ich doświadczeń jako uczestników takiej formy kształcenia w latach 2020-2022. Rezultaty badań wskazują, że studenci dokonywali oceny jakości procesu kształcenia zdalnego, zwracając uwagę na niedostatki kompetencji cyfrowych i dydaktycznych nauczycieli – w zakresie realizacji treści kształcenia, jak i procesu kontroli i oceny. Zmiana w trybie kształcenia wywołana pandemią przyczyniła się do powstania trudnych do przezwyciężenia barier poznawczych i motywacyjnych, oraz deficytów w zasobach wiedzy. Analiza wskazywanych przez studentów strat uświadamia istotne sfery procesu kształcenia, które mogą stanowić obszar optymalizacji i poprawy efektywności procesu kształcenia akademickiego pedagogów.
The article presents the results of qualitative research, the aim of which was to find out the opinions of special education students on the negative aspects of online education, resulting from their experiences as participants of this form of education in the years 2020–2022. The results of the research indicate that students assessed the quality of the remote education process, paying attention to the shortcomings of teachers' digital and didactic competences in terms of the implementation of the content of education, as well as the process of control and assessment. The change in the mode of education caused by the pandemic has contributed to the emergence of cognitive and motivational barriers that are difficult to overcome, as well as deficits in knowledge. The analysis of the losses pointed out by students makes us aware of important spheres of the education process, which can be an area of optimization and improvement of the effectiveness of the academic education process of educators.

This paper describes a plan and a procedure to introduce a course on satellite remote sensing to the curriculum of the engineering faculties of Gdynia Maritime University in Gdynia, Poland. This topic is not presently taught at the university and with the move of the Polish Space Agency to Gdańsk, nearby Gdynia, it would be useful to have remote sensing as a topic in the university curriculum for different degree programs. This plan began with the Fulbright Foundation that funded a 5-week visit of a U.S. remote sensing specialist to give orientation lectures to the faculty and students at the university. From this visit a plan was developed on how to present specific topics in remote sensing while the faculty determined how the subject should be introduced into different fields of study.
Polskiej Agencji Kosmicznej w Gdańsku wydaje się, że korzystne byłoby wprowadzenie do oferty dydaktycznej Akademii Morskiej w Gdyni również tematyki telemetrii satelitarnej – na różnych kierunkach i rodzajach studiów (w mniejszym lub większym zakresie). Prace nad przedstawioną tutaj propozycją zaczęły się od wizyty w Akademii Morskiej w Gdyni stypendysty Fundacji im. Fulbrighta z USA, wybitnego specjalisty w zakresie telemetrii satelitarnej. W czasie pięciotygodniowego pobytu w Gdyni wygłosił on szereg wykładów z powyższej tematyki. W tym czasie powstały także zręby omawianej tutaj propozycji, które później zostały uszczegółowione i dopracowane.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie najważniejszych wyzwań stojących przed dziećmi spowodowanych edukacją zdalną prowadzoną od marca 2020 r. w związku z pandemią COVID-19. Materiałem badawczym są wyniki trzech badań CAWI przeprowadzonych wśród rodziców dzieci w wieku szkolnym (6–19 lat): pod koniec kwietnia 2020 r., a więc miesiąc po rozpoczęciu edukacji zdalnej (N = 8250), w ostatnich dniach wakacji 2020 r. (N = 2880) oraz na przełomie listopada i grudnia 2020 r., tzn. po miesiącu ponownej edukacji zdalnej (N = 4003). Głównym źródłem danych do analizy było 2530 swobodnych wypowiedzi uczestników pierwszego badania. Dane te zostały zakodowane za pomocą programu MAXQDA 2020, a następnie przeanalizowane w wynikających z kodowania kategoriach. Artykuł przedstawia wybrane wyniki – te, które dotyczą bezpośrednio dzieci.
The purpose of this article is to present the major challenges related to remote learning that children have been facing since March 2020 in connection with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The author analysed the results of three CAWI surveys among parents of students: at the end of April 2020 – a month after remote learning was launched (N = 8,250), at the end of summer holidays of 2020 (N = 2,880), and at the end of November and beginning of December 2020 - a month after a return to remote learning (N = 4,003). The main source of data for the analysis were 2,530 comments of the participants of the first survey. The data was coded using the MAXQDA 2020 software, and then analysed according to the categories used in the coding. The article presents selected results that directly concern children.

Autorka artykułu koncentruje się w tekście na wykorzystaniu popularnych w ostatnim czasie w dydaktyce narzędziach krytycznego myślenia (oddzielając jednocześnie owe narzędzia od critical thinking) na lekcji języka polskiego jako obcego w dobie edukacji zdalnej, biorąc zarówno pod uwagę kursy online (online teaching), jak i nauczanie zdalne (remote teaching). Za istotne aspekty nauczania zdalnego uznane zostają: budowanie społeczności uczących się (building community of learners), obecność nauczyciela (teaching presence), budowanie rusztowania (scaffolding learning) z wykorzystaniem rutyn krytycznego myślenia. W tekście autorka omawia przykład lekcji języka polskiego jako obcego, podczas której zostały wykorzystane strategie krytycznego myślenia.
The article focuses on the use of the recently popular tools of critical thinking in didactics (distinguishing the tools from critical thinking) during the lessons of Polish as a foreign language in the era of remote education, taking into account both online teaching and remote teaching. The following are considered important aspects of distance learning: building a community of learners, teaching presence, and scaffolding learning with the use of critical thinking routines. In the text, the author discusses an example of a lesson of Polish as a foreign language, during which critical thinking strategies were used.

The aim of the study was to identify the factors that influence situating the students in the Comfort–Stretch-Panic (CSP) zones in the perspective of transition from remote to direct education. The study uses an original tool adapted upon the CSP concept. The presented data was obtained in 2021, from a representative sample of 1125 students. Thus, obtained data allowed to determine the factors of willingness of the primary school students to return to direct education. The research hypotheses were verified using a multinomial logit model. The study shows that the students' readiness depends on factors such as: gender and age, active participation in the online educational process, difficulties related to the process and relationships at school, as well as the family and school support potential. The significant influence caused by the students' personal problems and psychophysical condition on their potential return to direct education was not observed.

This article discusses the current situation of the Church resulting from the epidemic threat of the coronavirus. It indicates how we can teach religious education online, using particular platforms and educational websites, as well as instant messengers and other internet services, to make them tools of catechesis and evangelization. The author emphasizes the spiritual contact of the faithful who, through the media, can participate in Holy Masses and receive the Spiritual Communion. She underlines the role of the proper use of mass media in the work of catechesis and evangelization. The author encourages people responsible for catechesis to be creative in the remote proclamation of the redemptive message, and to use all the available didactic resources and methods.

Opis:
The importance of forested areas to provide food, medicine and shelter and to maintaining a healthy environment cannot be overemphasized. Hence, handy information on the universities that offers forestry education is necessary. The study used a geographic information system to spatially distribute Universities in Nigeria that offer Forestry Education. The list of all the universities registered as awarding Forestry Degrees in Nigeria were obtained online from the National University Commission (NUC) register and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) brochures. The corresponding coordinates of the universities were obtained using hand-held Global Positioning Systems and from satellite imagery. Quantum Geographic Information System was used to develop the universities spatial distribution. Only 31 out of the 34 universities identified as awarding forestry degrees were on the NUC list. Moreover, 61.8% of all of these universities were owned by the Federal Government, 32.4% by State Governments and only 5.9% were privately owned. Out of the universities recognized by NUC, the South-West geopolitical zone had the highest number (8), followed by South-South (7), North-West (5), North-Central (4), North-East (4) and South-East (3) with least. Non-uniformity was observed in Educational bodies offering studies in forestry, hence the government should invest more in forest research and education.

The main aim of this paper is to raise reflection on the conditions of respect for the right to education in the unexpected, pandemic time and after. The right to education is presented as the main agent of personal and social well-being, respect for human dignity, and the power of changing the world. The main question that organizes the structure of this paper concerns the conditions of respecting the right to education in Poland during remote education forced by a pandemic. Attention is focused on conditions, such as the place of living, possibilities for parents with different levels of education to support students, and access to broadband Internet. The discussion highlights the role of imagination as a factor of change in education and ways of respect for the right to education.

CEL NAUKOWY: Celem artykułu jest poznanie opinii rodziców oraz opiekunów na temat organizacji i przebiegu edukacji zdalnej w czasie pandemii wirusa SARS-CoV-2 w Polsce.PROBLEM I METODY BADAWCZE: W prezentowanym artykule analizom poddano wypowiedzi rodziców odnoszące się do edukacji zdalnej prowadzonej w czasie pandemii. Wykonano analizę dostępnych raportów i publikacji, jak również przeprowadzono badania własne (ankietowe).PROCES WYWODU: Zdefiniowano kluczowe dla analizy pojęcia oraz przedstawiono wynikibadań ankietowych.WYNIKI ANALIZY NAUKOWEJ: Przeprowadzona analiza wykazała nie tylko niską ocenę realizowanych zajęć, ale także wskazała konkretne płaszczyzny, gdzie konieczne jest wprowadzenie nowych rozwiązań, a wręcz systemowego wsparcia merytorycznego czy psychologicznego.WNIOSKI, INNOWACJE, REKOMENDACJE: Przedstawione w pracy wyniki badań potwierdzajątezę o zwiększeniu liczby zadań i obowiązków, które nakłada na rodziców edukacja zdalna. Wynikibadań dostarczają informacji o konkretnych potrzebach, tak objętych zdalną edukacją uczniów, jaki organizujących opiekę w domu rodziców.
SCIENTIFIC OBJECTIVE: The aim of the article is to find out the opinions of parents and guardians on the organization and course of remote education during the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic in Poland. PROBLEM AND RESEARCH METHODS: In the presented article, parents’ statements regarding remote education during the pandemic were analyzed. An analysis of the available reports and publications was performed, as well as own (questionnaire) research. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: The key concepts for the analysis were defined and the results of the questionnaire were presented. RESULTS OF SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS: The conducted analysis showed not only a low evaluation of the activities carried out, but also indicated specific areas where it is necessary to introduce new solutions, and even substantive or psychological systemic support. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS: The research results presented in the paper confirm the thesis about increasing the number of tasks and responsibilities imposed on parents by remote education. The research results provide information on the specific needs of both students covered by remote education and those who organize care at home.
