The history of human thoughts since the time of Ancient Greece until present time shows us abundance of thoughts regarding phenomena human psychological life. It is possible to distinguish in this history five mains concepts of psychological life: 1. Ontological concept (psychological life is connected with a soul, which existence is treated as a being); 2. Subjectivistic concept (psychological life is connected with a consciousness); 3. Objectivistic concept (psychological life is connected with behaviour, which can be objective visible for a researcher); 4. Subconsciousnessal concept (psychological life is connected with a subconsciousness); 5. Realistic concept (psychological life is connected with a personality). Looking on issues concepts of psychological life in historical aspect it is possible to see huge abundance of ideas regarding this problem. Each epoch has been trying to resolve of the mystery of human psychological life on measure its own time. These researches made the important footstep in our history, without which, it would not be possible far progress in the discovering of the phenomena psychological life

In the 1970s, two Dutch psychiatrists, Anna Terruwe and Conrad Baars, developed an innovative theory and therapy of repressive neuroses. Their theory was founded on the philosophical anthropology of Saint Thomas Aquinas. This approach to neuroses stemmed from the observation that contemporary psychiatry and psychology lacked philosophical underpinnings and that sciences thus formed were unable to help people. The key concept in the theory of repressive neuroses is psychic wholeness—the unity of the senses, the intellect, and will under the natural guidance of the last two of these. Stressing the great importance of this wholeness of human sensory and intellectual faculties for mental health has its consequences in the approach to and treatment of repressive neuroses. Every neurotic disorder is a kind of disintegration (repression of emotions and lack of intellectual control); therefore, the therapeutic process is supposed to effect a reintegration of distinct human faculties. The article presents the concept of psychic wholeness in the context of the theory of repressive neuroses, with special focus on Aquinas’ anthropology as the philosophical basis for this theory. Bowen’s concept of differentiation of self is also discussed and its similarities to psychic wholeness are pointed out.

In my article, I analyze how Kazimierz Dąbrowski's theory of positive disintegration can help with understanding the phenomenon of psychic maturity. From the perspective of this conception, the development of a human being is inherently connecting with going towards your ideal, which can't be achieved without mental disturbance and sometimes even psychic breakdown. The loosening of rigid psychic structures should be linking with self-education. This process leads toward the birth of a new person that internalized her hierarchy of values and goals. This hierarchy can't be changed. The theory inscribes the development of the given individual into five key levels that have different inner properties. I shortly analyzed theory and its main components, and after that, I showed how we should understand mental maturity in the light of Kazimierz Dąbrowski's theory.

Purpose: There have been numerous studies analyzing the role of psychic (and cultural) distance in the internationalization process focused on relationships between distance and market selection, entry mode, or subsidiary performance. Still, cumulative findings of this body of research are mixed and inconclusive. Thus, this review aims for a rigorous presentation of past research on psychic distance, with particular focus on the aspects of international business operations affected by psychic distance in the light of empirical studies.Methodology: This review encompasses 55 papers, both empirical and conceptual, published between 1990–2015 in top IB, international marketing, and management journals. In general, the papers under review were published in 27 journals, with the vast majority of them being published in 2005 or later. The vast majority of reviewed papers are of empirical character (47 papers), while eight are conceptual.Findings: Since 2005, the number of articles published in top academic journals that featured the term “psychic distance” in the title has quadrupled. Common research topics include not only the core domain of internationalization process and performance, but also focus on understanding the concept of psychic distance, analyzing its antecedents and coping modes. Other studies have addressed the performance implications of psychic distance in conjunction with variables like strategy adaptation to foreign markets.Research limitations/implications: While the present review is limited in the number of papers taken into account, it does provide an initial overview of the structure of the field. However, the comparability of findings of different studies is limited by factors such as firm samples or presence of multicultural nations. In terms of directions for further research, promising topics include the relationship between perceived and ‘real’ distances or the effectiveness of different coping modes.Originality/value: The present paper identifies key research streams related to psychic distance and its role for international business. Based on an analysis of their content, it outlines several avenues for further investigation.

In 1994, Elizabeth Alexander's”'Can you be Black and Look at This?’: Reading the Rodney King Video(s)” was published in The New Yorker magazine. Alexander focuses on the ways in which Black bodies have been the focal point of public pain, torture, and humiliation for centuries. These public lynchings, whippings, and other forms of physical abuse leading to maiming and death have been elements central to the entertainment for the racial status quo. Alexander's essay also focuses on the ways in which there has always been a “Black gaze” bearing witness to the decimation of other Black bodies--- the legacy of which leads to a continued cycle of both psychological and historic trauma that is (re)visited over and over again. Of course, with the prevalence of technology now a norm, such incidents of recorded violence are part of life in America.   As the United States' greatest cancer, racism, continues to be a root cause of this violence, neither the killing of Blacks nor survivors' consciousness will be healed; and worse, the spectacle of racial violence will continue to perpetuate victims on various levels: 1) as victims directly tied to such violence and 2) as witnesses to said violence. My proposed essay focuses on the tragedy of Black bodies as spectacles of public pain---whether they are viewed as victims, as specimens of morbid curiosity, or as receptacles of displaced hate and disgust; and even as supposed rightly displays of justices incurred, simply because the body in question is Black (“They got what they deserved. They should have just pulled over.”). I will focus on various, very public historical and modern-day lynchings, from Emmett Till to George Floyd, and explore the cause and effects against Blacks in America. Ultimately, the essay poses the following questions: who is the monster, who are the victims? And at what cost will this continuum perpetuate the legacy of trauma of the American Black population?

The specific perspective from which the Italian Church moves its reflection on mental health germinates and flourishes within the National Office of Health Pastoral Care of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI) and through the concrete commitment of Caritas. The various themes that will follow have as a common matrix the Conferences of the last fifty years launched by this office, dedicated to the theme “The Italian Church and mental health”. The starting point is that, according to the WHO, the extent of mental suffering is an increasing phenomenon everywhere. An approximate calculation of the incidence of mental distress certifies remarkable figures: about one billion people are currently in a state of mental distress. The National Office for Health Pastoral Care of the CEI in 2017, after years of research and studies, also inaugurated the “National Table on Mental Health” made up of professionals from the world of health, pastoral care and more. The anthropology and the experience of the Church, with regard to the right to health, aims to assume a different and higher vision of rights and teaches that the commitment to promote the life of every man comes before economic and political interests or simply utilitarian that make life “slave”. Starting from the Italian social context, we will try to clarify some fundamental aspects to which the Church is trying to give answers, through pastoral paths that are difficult to implement.

Objective: The objective of the article is to fill a research gap regarding the impact of psychic distance on the initiation of relationships by managers from Poland-based firms and to analyze the psychic distance’s influence on firm performance. Research methodology: The article is based on quantitative research conducted among managers from 201 Poland-based companies operating in foreign markets. The study used a structured questionnaire consisting mainly of closed questions. The dataset contained companies representing all sizes, industries, and ownership status from all over Poland. Findings: Two types of companies were identified following managers’ (un)willingness to initiate relationships with actors located in psychically distant markets. The study conclusions reveal that psychic distance matters for Polish managers and that business activities conducted in psychically distant markets are often perceived as more complex than in close markets. These activities involve additional risk, but they bring companies better performance. Limitations: The limitation of the study is that the measurements are based on the subjective perceptions of psychic distance. The research was conducted in Poland only. Originality: The article is a pioneer work on the psychic distance paradox among Polish managers from a diversified group of companies (from small to multinational). The article seeks to identify to what extent Polish managers perceive psychic distance as an important factor in the decision-making process concerning the initiation of relationships with foreign partners.

La fin du XIXe siècle en France est marquée par plusieurs crises parmi lesquelles la crise sociale et la crise de la littérature. Dans ce contexte, Georges Rodenbach a élaboré un poème en plusieurs parties, Les Vies encloses qui, dans la lignée des courants du symbolisme et du décadentisme, contient de nombreuses références à la philosophie de Schopenhauer. L’auteur y montre l’âme isolée aux prises avec le monde, sa recherche d’identité et sa découverte d’une vie intérieure profonde. À partir de ce qu’Edgar Morin dit de la crise et des pensées de Rodenbach lui-même, il est possible d’interpréter les différentes phases de la crise psychique que traverse cette âme, manifeste dans le contraste entre la lumière et les ténèbres, les mondes extérieur et intérieur, la sécurité et le danger et, finalement, entre la vie et la mort.
The end of the 19th century in France is marked by several crises, including the social crisis and the crisis of literature. Under these circumstances, Georges Rodenbach wrote a multi-part poem Les Vies encloses, which in line with Symbolist and Decadent movements contains numerous references to Schopenhauer’s philosophy. The author presents the struggle between the isolated soul which is searching for its own identity and discovering a deeper inner life, and the outside world. Based on the study of the crisis by Edgar Morin and the views of Rodenbach himself, it is possible to distinguish various phases of the crisis that the soul goes through. Indeed, this crisis is a result of the dilemmas that affect the soul and it is reflected by the contrast between light and darkness, external and internal world, security and danger, and eventually, life and death.

Począwszy od opublikowania w 1946 roku przez Melanie Klein klasycznego już dziś opisu identyfikacji projekcyjnej, zjawisko to w coraz większym stopniu zajmowało uwagę psychoanalityków, stając się z czasem jednym z centralnych punktów teorii i praktyki psychoanalitycznej. Jak zauważa Roth (2008, s. 250), ze wszystkich odkryć Klein to właśnie zyskało najbardziej powszechną aprobatę. Celem tego artykułu jest próba scharakteryzowania identyfikacji projekcyjnej w świetle ewolucji, jakiej podlegał ten koncept – od lokowania go wyłącznie w wymiarze imaginacyjności po rozpoznanie znaczenia jego obecności w rzeczywistości społecznej. Fenomen identyfikacji projekcyjnej rozpatrywany jest w niniejszym artykule z perspektywy koncepcji Klein – twórczyni tego konstruktu – oraz z punktu widzenia dwóch kluczowych dla rozwoju tego pojęcia koncepcji, autorstwa W. R. Biona i T. H. Ogdena. Prezentacja tych perspektyw ma służyć ukazaniu złożoności tego zjawiska i bogactwa obszarów jego zastosowania oraz ewolucji pojmowania tego mechanizmu – od koncentracji na tym, co intrapsychiczne, po stan, kiedy w równej mierze zwraca się uwagę również na to, co interpersonalne.
The aim of this article is to present the mechanism of projective identification, one of the crucial constructs of both classical and contemporary psychoanalysis. The phenomenon of projective identification is discussed from the point of view of M. Klein – the creator of this construct – and from the perspectives of W. R. Bion and T. H. Ogden, the authors of two fundamental theories of this mechanism. The presentation of these points of view serves to show the complexity of this phenomenon and the variety of areas for its application. The aim of the paper is to show the evolution of how this mechanism was understood, from the focus on what is intrapsychic and imaginative, to the recognition of the importance of its activity in the area of interpersonal reality.

W liczącej już kilka dekad literaturze dotyczącej internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw istnieje wiele nurtów badawczych, których systematyki dokonywano wielokrotnie. Terytorialny zakres internacjonalizacji należy do najstarszych problemów badawczych w dziedzinie procesu internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstwa. Początkowo był on analizowany jako koncentracja vs. dywersyfikacja (Ayal, Zif, 1978). Obecnie zakres internacjonalizacji jest jednym ze składników większości mierników jej stopnia (Kuivalainen, Sundqvist, Saarenko, 2012). Na ogół małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa w początkowych etapach procesu internacjonalizacji dokonują ekspansji na bliskie lub sąsiadujące rynki, na których tzw. dystans psychiczny (psychic distance) jest mały (Johanson, Vahlne, 1977). Natomiast przedsiębiorstwa transnarodowe, multinarodowe i globalne częściej funkcjonują na rynkach globalnych (Vahlne, Ivarssonn, 2014; Wach, 2014). Ponadto na zakres internacjonalizacji wpływają też inne czynniki, np. branża, w której działa firma, innowacyjność czy zaawansowanie technologiczne (high-tech/ low-tech) (Daszkiewicz, 2015). Głównymi celami empirycznymi artykułu są: identyfikacja kluczowych czynników determinujących terytorialny zakres internacjonalizacji badanych przedsiębiorstw oraz określenie siły wpływu tych czynników na zakres ich działalności międzynarodowej. Artykuł prezentuje cząstkowe wyniki badań przeprowadzonych na próbie 355 zinternacjonalizowanych przedsiębiorstw. Przebadano je za pomocą kwestionariusza ankiety przy wykorzystaniu wywiadów CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing). Ankietyzacja została przeprowadzona w 2015 roku w ramach grantu OPUS realizowanego na Wydziale Ekonomii i Stosunków Międzynarodowych Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego w Krakowie. Obliczenia zostały wykonane za pomocą programu Statistica® PL v. 10.
: For several decades in dynamically growing internationalization literature there have been many research trends. The territorial scope of internationalization is one of the oldest research problems in the area of the internationalization process of the enterprise. It was originally analyzed as concentration vs. diversification (Ayal, Ziph, 1978). Currently, the scope of internationalization is one of the components of most measures of the extent of internationalization (Kuivalainen, Sundqvist, Saarenko, 2012). In general, small and medium-sized enterprises in the early stages of the process of internationalization carry out expansion in the close/neighboring markets where the so-called psychic distance is small (Johanson, Vahlne, 1977). Conversely, transnational, multinational and global firms frequently operate in global markets (Vahlne, Ivarssonn, 2014; Wach, 2014). In addition, the scope of internationalization is also affected by other factors, e.g. industry in which the firm operates, innovation and technological sophistication (high-tech / low-tech) (Daszkiewicz, 2015). The main empirical objective of the article is to identify the key determinants of the territorial scope of internationalization of the surveyed enterprises, and the impact of these factors on the scope of their international activities. The article presents partial results of research carried out on a sample of 355 internationalized enterprises. Firms were interviewed by questionnaire using CATI interviews (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing). The objective of this paper is to assess the role of Polish diaspora in Brazil as a possible distance-reducing mechanism, facilitating the entry of Polish firms to the Brazilian market. We conclude that the activity of Polish firms in Brazil is very limited, due to a significant psychic distance between the respective countries. A long perceived distance is driven by a number of ‘psychic distance stimuli’ (i.e. geographic, cultural, administrative and economic differences). The psychic distance may be reduced by frequent exposure to a country, however, we conclude that so far, the Polish diaspora in Brazil has not served as a vehicle for such an exposure.
Celem artykułu jest ocena znaczenia polskiej diaspory w Brazylii jako mechanizmu redukującego dystans i ułatwiającego tym samym wejście polskich firm na rynek brazylijski. Artykuł wykazuje, że aktywność Polskich firm w Brazylii jest niewielka ze względu na istotny dystans psychiczny między tymi krajami. Postrzegany dystans wynika z licznych ‘stymulantów dystansu psychicznego’ (tj. różnic geograficznych, kulturowych, administracyjnych i gospodarczych). Ekspozycja jednostki na dany kraj może ograniczać dystans psychiczny, jednak, jak wykazano w artykule, polska diaspora w Brazylii nie przyczynia się do wzrostu częstości takiej ekspozycji.

Autorka analizuje rolę, jaką odgrywają koszty transakcyjne w zagranicznej ekspansji przedsiębiorstw. Koszty transakcyjne nie są wyodrębniane w przedsiębiorstwach i często zarządzający nie uświadamiają sobie ich wysokości. Tymczasem kształtowanie tej kategorii kosztów może wpływać na wynik ekspansji. Jest ono uzależnione od czynników związanych z ograniczoną racjonalnością podmiotów, oportunizmem, specyficznością zaangażowanych aktywów, niepewnością i częstotliwością zawierania transakcji. Oddziaływanie tych czynników staje się silniejsze, gdy przedsiębiorstwo wchodzi na rynek zagraniczny. Głównych źródeł wzrostu kosztów transakcyjnych można upatrywać w rosnącym dystansie psychicznym oraz w większej niepewności prowadzenia działalności na rynku zagranicznym. Koszty transakcyjne są silnie związane z często analizowanymi barierami rozwoju ekspansji, ponieważ ich pokonywanie wymaga ponoszenia wysokich kosztów.
The article analyses the transaction cost influence on enterprises international expansion. Enterprises do not separate transaction costs and often are not fully aware of their value. However this cost category may highly influence the outcome of their international expansion. It depends on factors connected with bounded rationality, opportunism, assets specificity, uncertainty and transaction frequency. The influence of these factors becomes more severe as the enterprise enters foreign markets. The main reasons responsible for transaction costs’ growth seem to be connected with increasing psychic distance and growing uncertainty of operating in foreign markets. Transaction cost are highly associated with often analyzed expansion barriers as overcoming these barriers incurs bearing high transaction cost.

The present paper aims at interpreting the novel The Magus by John Fowles within the framework of the Gothic genre. The argument shall be founded on a close analysis of chosen characteristics of the Gothic convention which can be identified within the text, such as the theatricality, the motif of insanity, as well as the issue of repressed sexuality. It shall also be argued that the novel presents the therapeutic role of fear, intrinsically linked to the Gothic mode of expression. The boundary between the rational and the irrational is suspended to the point that the protagonist is unable to tell whether the apparitions he sees in the Magus’s shadowy estate are of supernatural provenance or they constitute mere figments of his imagination deluded by the elements of the Mediterranean ambience. Remarkably, it is the experience of terror that ultimately heals Nicholas, an embittered and disillusioned young man, from the state of apathy and emotional handicap.
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba interpretacji powieści Johna Fowlesa Mag pod kątem obecnych w niej motywów gotyckich. Analizie poddane zostaną takie elementy konwencji gotyckiej jak: teatralność wydarzeń, motyw szaleństwa czy kwestia tłumionej seksualności. Autorka pragnie zwrócić uwagę na nieodzowny dla stylu gotyckiego element lęku, który w powieści pełni funkcję terapeutyczną. W powieści granica pomiędzy racjonalnym i irracjonalnym zostaje zatarta do tego stopnia, że główny bohater nie jest w stanie stwierdzić, czy wydarzenia, które mają miejsce w mrocznym domostwie tytułowego maga, dzieją się w rzeczywistości, czy też są dziełem jego omamionej śródziemnomorską rzeczywistością wyobraźni. Towarzyszący doświadczeniom Nicholasa strach ostatecznie uzdrawia zgorzkniałego mężczyznę ze stanu apatii i upośledzenia emocjonalnego.

The following study encompasses the analysis of a range of psychological opinions extracted from marriage invalidation cases, which were proceeded by the Bishop’s Court in the Diocese of Toruń. The article presents theoretical assumptions which are of legal nature and refer to personality disorders in psychological terms in the context of valid matrimonial consent. The theoretical part of the study refers to the institution of the matrimonial consent, which is the causative force of marriage and presents its invalidity in both subjective and objective aspect on the grounds of personality disorders. The analysis conducted in the research part presents various personality disorders contributing to the invalidation of marriage, distinguishing between the etiology of particular disorders and the dysfunctionality areas indicated by the appointed court experts in family and marital life.
Opracowanie obejmuje analizę opinii psychologicznych wyjętych ze spraw dotyczących nieważności małżeństwa, które były procedowane i wyrokowane w Sądzie Biskupim Diecezji Toruńskiej. Przedstawia założenia teoretyczne, które mają charakter prawny odnoszący się do zaburzeń osobowości w psychologicznym wymiarze w odniesieniu do wyrażenia ważnej zgody na małżeństwo. Część teoretyczna pracy odwołuje się do instytucji zgody małżeńskiej, która jest przyczyną sprawczą małżeństwa, i ukazuje jej nieważność w aspekcie podmiotowym i przedmiotowym w oparciu o zaburzenia osobowości. W części badawczej dokonana analiza przedstawia zaburzenia osobowości powodujące nieważność małżeństw z rozróżnieniem na etiologię poszczególnych zaburzeń oraz obszar dysfunkcyjności wykazany przez powołanych biegłych sądowych w zakresie realizacji życia małżeńskiego i rodzinnego. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wyników badań sondażowych umożliwiająca określenie luki badawczej w zakresie identyfikacji znaczenia dystansu psychicznego w procesie internacjonalizacji polskich przedsiębiorstw. Badania sondażowe, które dostarczyły wiedzy na temat znaczenia czynników dystansu psychicznego w procesie podejmowania decyzji o internacjonalizacji, pozwoliły także na przetestowanie założeń badawczych związanych z wyborem metody i techniki badawczej, założeń związanych ze sposobem doboru i liczebnością próby oraz konstrukcją narzędzia badawczego, jakim jest kwestionariusz. Jako metodykę przyjęto krytyczną analizę literatury przedmiotu z dziedziny biznesu międzynarodowego prezentującą pojęcie dystansu psychicznego. Badania bezpośrednie zostały przeprowadzone techniką wywiadu telefonicznego na próbie 18 przedsiębiorstw zaangażowanych w proces internacjonalizacji. W wyniku przeprowadzenia badań pilotażowych opracowano ostateczną wersję projektu badań oraz skonstruowano ostateczną wersję kwestionariusza. Przyjęto, że badania bezpośrednie będą realizowane techniką wywiadu bezpośredniego na próbie 251 przedsiębiorstw. Kwestionariusz do badań bezpośrednich składa się głównie ze skal porządkowych pięcio- bądź siedmiostopniowych, w tym skali Likerta. Oryginalność prowadzonych badań polega na opracowaniu założeń badawczych, metod oraz narzędzi do pomiaru dystansu psychicznego między Polską a zagranicznymi rynkami ekspansji polskich przedsiębiorstw.
Over the last few years, a number of publications have been devoted to the internationalization of Polish companies. An increasing interest in this problem has also been spurred by the transformation of the social and economic system in Poland and the Poland’s accession to the European Union. The article presents the pilot research results on the importance of psychic distance in the process of Polish companies’ internationalization. The whole research will be of quantitative nature and it will be conducted with the use of direct interview technique on the sample of 251 companies. It was decided that this technique will enable the best quality of research. The pilot research was conducted on the sample of 18 companies. Most of the managers agreed that psychic distance exists, however, it has small impact on the process of Polish companies internationalization. The respondents were asked about stimuli having impact on managerial perceptions of psychic distance. According to the majority of respondents, managerial perceptions of psychic distance depend on the international experience of managers, the knowledge of managers about international markets, the education of managers and the stability and changeability of the environment, in which the company operates. According to the managers, the most important factor having impact on decisions connected with internationalization are: cultural differences, political differences, geographic distance and the differences in economic systems The factors having impact on companies’ engagement in international markets are the level of democracy, the level of infrastructure development, different way of thinking of managers, and differences in time zones. According to the majority of respondents the managers’ perceptions about the significance of psychic distance in the process of companies internationalization depend on managers’ experience, managers’ knowledge about international markets, the level of managers’ education, the level of stability and changeability of the environment the company operates.

Odpowiednie jej zastoso-wanie podnosi efektywność pracy nauczyciela, a także zwiększa atrakcyjność zajęć, odpowiadając zapotrzebowaniu uczniów na konkretny rodzaj bodźców i aktywności. Tablica interaktywna staje się powoli codziennością szkoły, jednak istnieje ciągle wiele czynników, które ograniczają jej wykorzystanie.
In the face of dynamic social transforms and challenges, which stands before humanity and also transforms in mentality and attitude towards life of modern children and youth the ways of influence of school should be changed. To meet the expectations of these phenomenon school should use much better than so far modern educational technologies. High potential in these re-spect gives for example interactive board. Its appropriate use enhances effectiveness of teacher’s work but also makes the classes more attractive, what is relevant to students demands for special kind of stimulus and activity. The interactive board slowly becomes reality of school, however there are still many factors that restrict its use.

To przekonanie jest jednak podważane przez wyniki badań empirycznych. Zjawiskiem słabo rozpoznanym w istniejącym dorobku jest niedoszacowanie dystansu w przypadku rynków uchodzących za podobne. W tym kontekście celem niniejszego badania jest analiza determinant wyników polskich eksporterów na rynku niemieckim, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem postrzeganego przez menedżerów dystansu, adaptacji strategii, jak również zgromadzonej wiedzy. Autorzy stawiają ponadto tezę, że relacje te zależą od intensywność technologicznej branży.
The development of new forms of transport and communication technology and progressive economic integration mean that many writers and practitioners believe that distance is no longer a relevant category in the description of the internationalization of business. But this conviction is undermined by the results of empirical research. Thus, a phenomenon that is poorly recognized in the existing acquis is the underestimation of distance in the case of outward markets. In this context, the purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of the performance of Polish exporters on the German market, with particular regard to distance managers’ perceptions, adaptation strategies, and accumulated knowledge. The authors also point out that these relationships depend on the technological intensity of the industry. The study is based on the results of a survey conducted within an ongoing grant of the National Science Center.

Objectives: The evaluation of the direct and remote effects of stationary rehabilitation following interventionally treated acute coronary syndrome and its extension by a three-month period of supervised training in ambulatory conditions within the scope of physical capacity psychic state and quality of life.Materials and methods: The research was conducted in a group of 44 patients (32 men and 12 women) aged 56.9±9, 62 years old for a period of 2-3 weeks following interventional treatment of acute coronary syndrome. All the patients had participated in stationary rehabilitation, 14 of whom expressed a willingness to participate in a futher three-month period of ambulatory rehabilitation. All patients prior to the commencement of rehabilitation had threadmill exertion tests. Fear was evaluated by means of the SOPER questionnaire. Basic mood and psychic tension as well as the feeling of health were assessed by means of the VAS scale of the Euro-Qol 5D questionnaire. The set of tests was repeated after the completion of the stationary phase, and after time periods of 3 months and a year.Results: Patients subjected to the extended 3-month ambulatory phase of rehabilitation displayed a greater increase in exercise tolerance when compared with the group that had merely undergone the 3-week stationary rehabilitation. Patients with extended rehabilitation gradually improved their evaluation of their state of health and after a year maintained it at the level it had been after the completion of the stationary rehabilitation. In patients who did not express a willingness to continue an organised form of exercise in ambulatory conditions the noticeable improvement in health following the end of rehabilitation was not long lasting. After a year, regardless of the programme of rehabilitation selected, an improvement in the psychic state was noted, which was expressed in an increased positive mood although the level of fear did not change to a significant degree.Conclusions: 1. Extended rehabilitation, combining stationary and ambulatory forms, after interventional treatment of ACS gives a better long-term effect in the area of improving exercise capacity and patient self-evaluation of state of health than is in the case after three-week stationary rehabilitation. 2. The extending of the period of rehabilitation has no influence on attaining the postrehabilitation changes on the level of mood and fear.

This article analyzes Dąbrowski’s theory of positive disintegration referring to current debates in the USA which discussed certain parts of the theory (e.g. overexcitabilities) and neglected others (e.g. dynamisms). This approach caused simplification of the theoretical framework proposed by Dąbrowski and inscribed it into the narrow quantitative understanding of science. Lastly, Piechowski proposed to significantly modify Dąbrowski’s theory and to even discard the two lowest levels of development in theory. This caused a reaction by Tillier and Mendaglio who tried to defend the original concepts of the author of the theory. This article juxtaposed these two interpretations of the theory and shows a third possible interpretation based on English and Polish texts written by Dąbrowski. This interpretation solved problems present in the previously mentioned approaches to the theory and shows the way forward into more systematized theoretical research which is seriously needed if we want to further develop theory and its main notions.
W artykule analizie poddana została teoria dezintegracji pozytywnej Dąbrowskiego z jednoczesnym nawiązaniem do toczących się w USA debat, w których dyskutowano na temat pewnych części teorii (np. nadpobudliwości), a pomijano inne (np. dynamizmy). Takie podejście spowodowało uproszczenie teoretycznej struktury zaproponowanej przez Dąbrowskiego i wpisało ją w wąskie ilościowe rozumienie nauki. Ostatnio Piechowski zaproponował poważną modyfikację teorii Dąbrowskiego, a nawet odrzucenie dwóch najniższych poziomów rozwoju w teorii. Wywołało to reakcję Tilliera i Mendaglio, którzy próbowali bronić oryginalnych koncepcji autora teorii. W artykule zestawiono te dwie interpretacje teorii i zaprezentowano trzecią możliwą interpretację na podstawie badań nad angielskimi i polskimi tekstami Dąbrowskiego. Interpretacja ta rozwiązuje problemy obecne we wcześniej wymienionych podejściach do teorii oraz pokazuje drogę do bardziej usystematyzowanych badań teoretycznych, które są bardzo potrzebne, jeśli chcemy dalej rozwijać teorię i jej główne pojęcia.

Opis:
This article focuses on the phenomenon of digital culture. Through the prism of Jungian psychology, it looks at the madness of imagopathy. The virtual world transcends the boundaries between wakefulness and dream, between rational and mythical thought. This is the world of samsara, governed by the law of enantiodromia. Freud believed that people unconsciously want their own destruction. The final destructiveness rational order is based on the famous antiutopias, „Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley and „The Circle” by Dave Eggers. Conclusion: Everything is a myth. Rational thought is an illusion.

Autor przedstawia i komentuje negatywny wyrok Roty Rzymskiej c. Verginelli z 25 marca 2011 r. w sprawie o nieważność małżeństwa z powodu incapacitas assumendi po stronie mężczyzny (kan. 1095, n. 3 KPK/83), rozpoznawanej w trzeciej instancji (wyrok negatywny w pierwszej, pozytywny w drugiej). O ile w pierwszej instancji, gdzie instrukcja dowodowa okazała się dość obszerna (zeznania stron, zeznania siedmiu świadków, opinia biegłego), o tyle w drugiej instancji uzupełniono ją jedynie opinią biegłego sporządzoną na podstawie akt sprawy. Na stopniu rotalnym ograniczało się to do dotychczas zebranego materiału. Podstawa prawna wyraźnie wskazuje na zgodę małżeńską (actus humanus), a także możliwość jej wyrażenia. Ponens słusznie podkreślił, że mając na uwadze wiele aspektów tej zdolności, ważne jest przede wszystkim odniesienie jej do poważnych przyczyn psychologicznych, które uniemożliwiają podmiotowi zawarcie konsensusu małżeńskiego. W uzasadnieniu faktycznym wyroku turnus rotalny ocenił materiał dowodowy zebrany w dwóch pierwszych instancjach. Pewnym mankamentem był tu brak zeznań pozwanego w drugiej instancji oraz niestawiennictwo na badanie biegłego. Znaczącym było odrzucenie w wyroku rotalnym opinii biegłego (sporządzonej w drugiej instancji) jako niewspółbrzmiącej z innymi dowodami.
The author presents and comments on the (negative) sentence of the Roman Rota, c. Verginelli of March 25, 2011, in the Plocen. case for nullity of a marriage due to incapacitas assumendi (can. 1095, n. 3 CIC/83), heard in the third instance (negative in the first instance, positive in the second); it was about the man's inability. While in the first instance, where the evidence instruction turned out to be quite extensive (testimonies of the parties, testimonies of seven witnesses, expert opinion), in the second instance it was only supplemented by an expert opinion prepared on the basis of the case files; in the rotational instance, it was confined to the material gathered so far. The legal grounds clearly show the marriage consent (actus humanus), as well as the ability to obtain it. Ponens rightly emphasized that, bearing in mind many aspects of this ability, it is above all important to relate it to serious psychological reasons that make it impossible for the subject to form a marriage consensus. In the factual grounds of the judgment, the Roman Rota assessed the evidence gathered in the first two instances. A certain drawback here was the lack of the defendant's testimony in the second instance and the failure to appear for the expert examination. Something significant was the judgment's rejection of the expert opinion (in the second instance) as inconsistent with other evidence by the rotating camp.

Opis:
Purpose: Based on the various streams of distance literature in management, a framework is provided to make discourses on distance clear. Design / Method / Approach: After a review of the most relevant distance concepts, a typology with five categories is introduced, which are then applied to the most relevant distance concepts in management. Findings: A clear typology helps to clearly define and differentiate the various streams of distance literature. Theoretical Implications: With the conceptual categories ‘topic’, ‘dimensionality’, and ‘level of analysis’, and the empirical categories ‘variables’ and ‘distance calculation’, distance concepts become more consistent. Practical Implications: With a terminology for the different aspects of distance, practitioners can focus more clearly on specific remedies to bridge distance.
