Opis:
Zawód ratownika medycznego istnieje w Polsce od ponad 20 lat i stanowi obecnie filar Systemu Państwowego Ratownictwa Medycznego. Ratownicy medyczni powinni posiadać wysokie kwalifikacje w prowadzeniu medycznych czynności ratunkowych. W pracy przedstawiono dotychczasowy, dwutorowy system edukacji na poziomie dwuletnich szkół medycznych oraz trzyletnich studiów licencjackich. Podjęto także próbę oceny pierwszego w Polsce ujednoliconego egzaminu zawodowego, wdrożonego przez Centralną Komisję Egzaminacyjną. Obecnie, rynek pracy w państwowych jednostkach ratownictwa jest wysycony, a ratownicy medyczni kształcą się wyłącznie na poziomie studiów pierwszego stopnia. W aktualnym stanie prawnym brakuje standaryzacji egzaminu dyplomowego z ratownictwa. Projekt Państwowego Egzaminu Ratownictwa Medycznego, będący w fazie konsultacji społecznych, przedstawia ogólne założenia, stanowiące podstawę do dalszej dyskusji. Autorzy proponują zatem zmiany systemu ewaluacji ratowników medycznych na podstawie doświadczeń własnych oraz przykładów funkcjonujących na świecie.
The profession of medical rescuer was established in Poland about 20 years ago and now plays a crucial role in the State Emergency Medical Services. Paramedics should be highly qualified in implementing medical rescue activities. This paper presents the educational system of a two-year medical school and three-year first degree studies. First it assesses the unified professional exam for medical rescuers approved by Polish Central Examination Board. Currently, the labor market for rescue units is saturated, and paramedics are trained mainly on the undergraduate level. Under current law there is a lack of standardization of the paramedics’ final exam. The State Emergency Medical Exam project is in the public consultation phase and presents the general propositions for further discussion. Suggested changes in the system for evaluating medical rescuers are based on authors’ own experience and examples from other countries.

Opis:
The conceptual foundations of the theory and practice of the professional formation of the personality in the system of special education are substantiated. The essence of the given training is considered in various ways, on the basis of which its qualitative and classification characteristics, levels and systemic and structural components are determined; the content, organizational and pedagogical conditions and criteria for assessing the levels of formation of these components aredefined.The following components of professional training are defined: professional and motivational, cognitive and competence, operational and active, productive and reflexive. It is indicated that the given structural components are interrelated, interdependent and complementary to each other. Theoretical paradigm is scientifically substantiated, the structural-functional, organizational-didactic model of the system of professional training in the field of special education is developed and tested and the dynamics of the formation of its components according to the results of the implementation of this system is highlighted. Particular attention is paid to finding and developing of the optimal set of methods of its providing, developing programs and definition of developed program’s efficiency. The practical results of scientists’ work in defining spheres are analyzed. The results of the experimental study of the components of the professional readiness to work on a specialty are highlighted. The prospects for further research in the context of improving professional training in the field of special education are outlined.

The social and economic development of a country is related to the quality and conditions of the work of teachers, as evidenced by the examples of the most developed countries of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (Finland, Ireland). The best educational systems provide, apart from individual approach to students, the high quality of education for candidates for teachers, and care taken for recruiting the best of them. While in Poland, the effectiveness of the system for educating teachers and their professional development is not monitored nor evaluated. Their predispositions are not examined during recruitment for studies, and neither are their attitudes and progress during education.

The activities of Voluntary Labour Corps (Polish: Ochotnicze Hufce Pracy – OHP) mainly relate to young people threatened with being excluded from the education system, those who evade mandatory schooling or achieve pure results at school. These are often children from single-parent families or large families, having unemployed parents, from dysfunctional families, from families in poor financial situation and people who, despite being at young age, have already broken the law. For such people, access to education and opportunities to gain skills allowing for finding a job provide a chance for independent living. The Supreme Audit Office conducted an audit aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of OHP’s activities with regard to designing and providing professional activation for youngsters, to examine whether OHP’s offer met the requirements of the labour market, and whether those participating in OHP receive appropriate professional training and find jobs, and to what extent their jobs were stable and reflected their qualifications.

Przedstawione zostaną zdania młodzieży na temat korzyści kształcenia w szkole branżowej i technikum, źródła informacji na temat możliwości i zasad kształcenia zawodowego, opinie dotyczące poziomu trudności i wpływu innych osób na podejmowane decyzje. Odwołano się do aktualnych przepisów prawa oświatowego i innych badań odnoszących się do wyboru szkoły ponadpodstawowej. Nawiązano również do okresu rozwojowego, na jaki przypada podejmowanie pierwszych edukacyjno-zawodowych wyborów i teorii rozwoju zawodowego.
The aim of this article is to present the factors that have an impact on the choice of the level of education that first grade vocational school students and technical school students have made. Advantages (according to students) of attending both types of schools, as well as sources of information concerning possibilities and rules of professional (vocational) education, opinions concerning the level of difficulty and other people’s influence in the decision-making process have also been presented. Current provisions of educational law and other research concerning the choice of a secondary school appear in the article. There is also a reference to developmental period in which students are supposed to make their first educational-vocational choices, as well as to the theory of professional development.

The preventive system of St. John Bosco implemented in the Salesian schools offers both educative aims and methodology for real educational processes. It is possible to affirm that such an approach is a real part of education in its methodological and practical meaning. Methodological, because it contains knowledge that helps teachers and educators to organize their actions a consistent process oriented toward an educational goal. It also allows educators to reflect on that their actions and to evaluate them according to inner criteria. It is practical because it is not a discipline with a goal to organize knowledge in a theoretical system, but rather it is oriented as a whole towards a concrete intervention and looks for results. This article presents the role of the teacher and educator in the light of the preventive system as it is implemented in schools, and the ethical and professional skills that they should acquire. The paper highlights the possibilities that the professional practice community offers educators for their own professional development.

The article deals with foundations of modern research in the context of special education psychologists. The problem of professional training of psychologists in the field of special education is firstly comprehensively studied on the basis of humanistic, axiological, epistemological, acmeological, systemic, contextual, integrative, activity, reflexive-activity, and personality-oriented approaches. The methodological aspects of this professional training have been developed and the training itself has been presented as a holistic systemic phenomenon in the educational space of higher pedagogical education. The essence of the training has been examined in various ways and on the basis of this training its classification characteristics, levels and systemic and structural components have been determined. This article also defines the content, organizational and pedagogical conditions and criteria for assessing the levels of formation of these components. What the article aims at is to highlight and characterize the key parts of the system of the phenomenon under investigation and to describe their interactions in the functions and forms of the investigated activity. It also develops and scientifically substantiates the methodology of research of the state of formation of the components of psychologist professional training. The essence of the modern technologies in higher educational institutions is also determined. Theoretical paradigm has been scientifically substantiated, the structural and functional, organizational and didactic model of the system of psychologist professional training in the field of special education has been developed and tested and the dynamics of the formation of its components according to the results of the implementation of this system have been highlighted. Particular attention has been paid to finding and developing the optimal set of methods of providing it, developing programs and defining the efficiency of a developed program. Finally, the article outlines prospects for further research in the context of improving professional training of psychologists in the field of special education.

The professional development of teachers is associated with increased specialized competence and professional advancement, which usually correlate with a specific level of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Opis:
W artykule podjęto próbę analizy współczesnych uwarunkowań i wymagań stawianych profesji nauczyciela. W sposób ogólny omówiono system doskonalenia zawodowego nauczycieli oraz elementy tworzące ten system w Polsce. Ukazano wyzwania stojące przed współczesnym pedagogiem. Podkreślono specyfikę pracy nauczycieli w aspekcie zmian społeczno-gospodarczych i konieczność ciągłego doskonalenia się. Przeprowadzono analizę badań w obszarze potrzeb edukacyjnych środowiska światowego w ramach funkcjonowania powiatowej, publicznej placówki doskonalenia nauczycieli, co pozwoliło wskazać tendencje i preferencje nauczycieli w obszarze doskonalenia zawodowego.
The article attempts to analyse the contemporary conditions and requirements for the teaching profession. The teacher training system and the elements that constitute this system in Poland are discussed in general. The challenges faced by the contemporary educator are shown. The specificity of teachers’ work in terms of socio-economic changes and the need for continuous improvement are emphasised. An analysis of research in the area of educational needs of teachers was carried out in the context of the functioning of the public teacher training institution, which allowed to indicate the tendencies and preferences of teachers in the area of professional development.
