    The oldest institution of psychological and pedagogical counselling in Poznań has been operating for almost sixty years. We are referring to the Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs, currently located on Ulica 28 Czerwca, 1956, no. 296/298. It’s origins date back to 1957, when the efforts of the school authorities and academic circles in Poznań created the Psychological Clinic in Poznań. Since it started operating to the present day almost everything has changed. The institution has been subject over the years to numerous reforms, be they administrative, educational, or to the system of providing psychological and educational assistance. The name of the institution has changed four times, the range of tasks has been repeatedly redefined, continually expanding, and the supervising authorities and area of operation have changed. Undeniably, though, it has always played an extremely important role for the children and young people under its care, providing vital real life.

    In this publication the author presents the results of research carried out in the Internet space in order to obtain a typology of the reasons why modern women seek help on internet forums. The reader will find a description of the non-professional counselling and its mediated forms of media perspective. Users activity of internet forums has also been characterised as oscillating on a continuum "advisor - client". The author focuses on the presentation of the reasons why the users take the role of advisors and clients. Users emotional states have been analysed accompanying participation in online counselling process. The surveys results serving for this publication were based on an interview using online communication tools and content analysis. The conclusion of the study shows that the non-professional counselling conducted out with the use of online communication tools may serve as a support for professional individual counselling.

    Wybór zawodu to bardzo istotna decyzja, przed podjęciem której staje każdy młody człowiek. Ma ona istotny wpływ na dalsze życie (zawodowe i poniekąd osobiste) każdego człowieka. Dlatego w trakcie edukacji uczeń może skorzystać z pomocy specjalistów z zakresu orientacji i poradnictwa zawodowego. W artykule omówione zostały podstawy prawne funkcjonowania doradztwa zawodowego w polskich placówkach oświatowych. Ponadto przedstawione zostały wymagania formalne, zakres obowiązków i cechy charakteru, jakimi musi legitymować się szkolny doradca zawodowy.
    The choice of profession is a crucial decision which every young person has to make. It has a significant impact on life (professional and to a certain extent personal) of each person. Therefore, in the course of education the student can benefit from the help of specialists in the field of guidance and employment counselling. The article discusses the legal basis of employment counselling in Polish educational institutions. Moreover, it presents the formal requirements, responsibilities and traits of character which the school employment counsellor should have.

    This article addresses the issue of the competence of counsellors working with people experiencing sexual violence. The theoretical part of the article describes the basic concepts related to institutional (professional) counselling and describes a professional counsellor and his/her competences in a descriptive way. The subject of the research includes the competences of counsellors in the field of working with people who have experienced sexual violence. The purpose of the study was determining and describing their competences – both organizational and professional ones – from the perspective of the experience of individual listeners preparing for counselling work. The study uses a narrative method with content analysis. The research problem took the form of the following question: what are the competences of a counsellor in accompanying a sexually abused person from the perspective of the personal experience of future counsellors? The research was conducted in 2019 among 23 postgraduate students preparing for counselling work. The results made it possible to select subcategories within the examined categories that show the specificity and value of the competences described by the respondents, and allowed us to emphasize the importance of the interdisciplinary knowledge and skills of counsellors. In addition, the conclusions of the study are valuable for pedagogical practice, especially in terms of enriching the offer of studies addressed to counsellors working with people who have experienced sexual violence.

    Niniejszy artykuł mieści się w szerokiej dyskusji dotyczącej zawodowego przygotowania pedagogów realizujących działania pomocowe w ramach poradni psychologiczno-pedagogicznej. Zmieniające się modele poradnictwa w ponowoczesności wyznaczają kierunki pracy profesjonalnych doradców, w tym również w obszarze poradnictwa pedagogicznego. Spór o kompetencje zawodowe pedagoga kreuje nowy wizerunek doradcy, który napotyka poważne bariery w realizacji form działalności zgodnej z opisanymi w literaturze i ogólnie przyjętymi zasadami i standardami pracy doradczej. Dyskusja wokół profesjonalnej pomocy psychologiczno--pedagogicznej akcentuje potrzebę wprowadzania znaczących zmian w systemie wspomagania dziecka, rodziny i nauczyciela. Zderzenie teorii z praktyką instytucjonalnej pomocy rodzi wiele wątpliwości natury etycznej odwołującej się do przebiegu procesu pomocowego, jego skuteczności czy postawy osoby pomagającej. Autorka artykułu poddaje analizie zasady przebiegu relacji pomocowej w założeniu warunkujące jej efektywność w odniesieniu do wybranych aspektów pracy poradniczej doradcy-pedagoga. Dylematy pomagania dotyczą działań diagnostycznych i terapeutycznych będących podstawą pracy poradni, co implikuje dyskusje na temat tożsamości poradnictwa pedagogicznego i jego naukowego usytuowania. Wnioski z dokonanych analiz mogą być inspiracją do działań zmierzających do zdefiniowania terminu poradnictwo pedagogiczne w wymiarze pracy poradni psychologiczno-pedagogicznej.
    This article is part of the wide discussion regarding professional preparation of pedagogues carrying out activities in psychological-pedagogical counselling offices. Changing counselling models in postmodernity point to the directions professional counsellors take, also within pedagogical counselling. The disagreement over professional competences of a pedagogue creates a new image of a counsellor – one, who encounters serious barriers in the realisation of activities in accordance with literature as well as widely accepted rules and standards of counselling. The discussion surrounding professional psycho-pedagogical help emphasises the need to introduce significant changes in the way children, family and teachers are supported. The clash of theory and institutional practice in the act of helping brings with it a number of doubts of an ethical nature regarding the course of the help process, its efficacy and the attitude of the person providing the help. The author analyses the rules according to which the help relationship unfolds. In theory the rules govern effectiveness of the help in relation to chosen aspects of the counselling provided by the counsellor-pedagogue. The helping dilemmas concern diagnostic and therapeutic activities at the core of a counselling centre, which necessitates a discussion on the identity of pedagogical counselling and its scientific placement. The conclusions from the analyses could be an inspiration to activities moving towards defining the term pedagogical counselling as work done as part of a psycho-pedagogical counselling centre.

    Celem niniejszego artykułu była analiza regulacji normatywnych odnoszących się do udziału adwokatów i radców prawnych w etapach kwalifikacyjnych do tych zawodów. Prowadziła ona do sformułowania uwag de lege lata i wniosków de lege ferenda dotyczących charakteru oraz znaczenia czynności dokonywanych przez przedstawicieli zawodów polegających na świadczeniu pomocy prawnej w dostępie do nich. Problematyka ta nie była przedmiotem szczegółowych badań w nauce prawa, która skupiała się przede wszystkim na kompetencjach przysługujących organom poszczególnych samorządów zawodów zaufania publicznego. Celom opracowania podporządkowane zostały metody badawcze. Badania zostały przeprowadzone z wykorzystaniem metody formalno-dogmatycznej. Dokonano także analizy orzecznictwa i literatury przedmiotu. Ponadto w badaniach posłużono się metodą porównawczą wewnątrzsystemową dla ustalenia ewentualnych różnic pomiędzy uprawnieniami adwokatów oraz radców prawnych. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań wysunięty został wniosek, że przy dopuszczalności tożsamości treści pytań egzaminacyjnych na egzamin wstępny na aplikacje zasadne jest różnicowanie zadań na egzaminy: adwokacki i radcowski. Wśród uwag de lege lata wskazano na szerokie uprawnienia przysługujące Ministrowi Sprawiedliwości w poszczególnych etapach dostępu do zawodów polegających na świadczeniu pomocy prawej. Podstawowym sformułowanym na podstawie analizy postulatem de lege ferenda było wprowadzenie zmian w regulacjach normatywnych polegających na zwiększeniu udziału osób wykonujących dany zawód w poszczególnych etapach rozłożonego w czasie postępowania kwalifikacyjnego. Adwokaci i radcowie prawni zrzeszeni we właściwe samorządy zawodowe wykonują zawody zaufania publicznego o doniosłym znaczeniu zarówno dla poszczególnych jednostek, jak i dla ogółu obywateli oraz państwa. Świadczenie pomocy prawnej uzależnione jest od spełnienia wysokich wymagań, w tym o charakterze merytorycznym. Zasadne jest przyjęcie, że to przedstawiciele tych zawodów są najbardziej predystynowani do dokonywania oceny przydatności kandydatów do ich wykonywania.
    The aim of this article is to analyse the normative regulations on the participation of advocates (adwokaci) and attorneys-at-law (radcy prawni) in stages of qualification to become members of these professions. It formulates de lege lata and de lege ferenda proposals on the matter of the nature and significance of the activities carried out by legal counselling professionals for obtaining access to these professions. This issue has not been examined in detail in legal science, as the studies conducted so far focus primarily on the competences of the authorities of self-governments of individual professions of public trust. The research methods used in this study are relevant to its purpose. An examination of the law in force is carried out and so is an analysis of the established line of judicial decisions and the relevant literature. Moreover, the study has employed an intra-system comparative method to identify possible differences between rights of advocates and attorneys-at-law. Based on the research carried out, it has been concluded that while it is admissible that the content of examination questions for the professional training entrance examinations be identical, it is appropriate to differentiate exam assignments for advocate and attorney-at-law qualification examinations. The comments on the law as it stands (de lege lata) point to the broad array of powers exercised by the Minister of Justice at various stages of access to legal professions. The fundamental de lege ferenda proposal formulated on the basis of this analysis is to make changes to the normative regulations aimed at increasing the participation of practitioners in various stages of the qualification procedure. Advocates and attorneys-at-law who are members of the relevant professional self-governments practice professions of public trust of utmost importance to individuals, the general public and the state. The provision of legal assistance depends on meeting high requirements, including those of substantive nature. It is therefore reasonable to assume that it is members of the professions themselves who are most predisposed to assess the suitability of candidates to practice these professions.

    W artykule zaproponowano skonstruowanie nowej naukowej teorii poradnictwa zawodowego opierającej się na teoriach cybernetycznych. Sformułowano warunki, które powinna spełniać. Omówiono przyjętą koncepcję człowieka oraz koncepcję stałych indywidualnych cech osobowości, które pełnią funkcje predyspozycji zawodowych. Przedstawiono bazę teoretyczną tej koncepcji. Zaprezentowano wybór zawodu i działalności zawodowej ze względu na wartości stałych indywidualnych cech osobowości. Wskazano role zawodowe właściwe dla człowieka ze względu na te cechy. Przedstawiono relacje występujące między zawodem a tymi cechami. Omówiono zagadnienie przystosowania zawodowego ze względu na wartości stałych indywidualnych cech osobowości.
    In the article the development of a new scientific theory of career counselling, originating from cybernetic theories, has been anticipated. The conditions it should meet were formulated. The article discusses the assumed concept of a human and the concept of constant individual personality traits which function as job predispositions. The theoretical basis of the concept was identified. Selection of an occupation and the following professional life, conditional upon the values of constant individual personality traits, were presented. The professional roles appropriate for an individual, dependent on those traits, were distinguished. Relations between the occupation and the personality traits were presented. The issue of professional adaptation subject to constant individual personality traits, was discussed.
