Opis:
With the repeal of the MFA agreement, the competitive conditions in yarn and weaving industries have changed. Especially, with the cheap labour of Asian and Far Eastern countries, they have become advantageous in this unrestricted competition environment. Therefore, this study was conducted to help to identify those products where Türkiye and her competitors have comparative advantages. This study mainly focuses on analysing the complementarity and substitutability of selected countries such as Türkiye, India, China and the USA. RTA, RC, RSCA and trade specialisation (TSI) indices were used to evaluate the competitive advantage. The results showed that Türkiye’s competitiveness in cotton yarn and cotton weaving has deteriorated. However, India and China, which are the major countries in the world’s cotton production, have a positive impact on their long-term competitiveness. Moreover, for these countries there is convergence in cotton yarn and divergence in cotton fabric products.

The article focuses on the search for growth prospects for Polish exports of agri-food products with economies belonging to the European Union and being the most important export markets for Poland in terms of agri-food products. Groups of these goods were identified that are characterized by positive and negative indicators of revealed comparative advantages and indicators of the trade balance. The study used a method based on the product mapping matrix.

Opis:
Background: Software product maintainability prediction (SPMP) is an important task to control software maintenance activity, and many SPMP techniques for improving software maintainability have been proposed. In this study, we performed a systematic mapping and review on SPMP studies to analyze and summarize the empirical evidence on the prediction accuracy of SPMP techniques in current research. Objective: The objective of this study is twofold: (1) to classify SPMP studies reported in the literature using the following criteria: publication year, publication source, research type, empirical approach, software application type, datasets, independent variables used as predictors, dependent variables (e.g. how maintainability is expressed in terms of the variable to be predicted), tools used to gather the predictors, the successful predictors and SPMP techniques, (2) to analyze these studies from three perspectives: prediction accuracy, techniques reported to be superior in comparative studies and accuracy comparison of these techniques. Methodology: We performed a systematic mapping and review of the SPMP empirical studies published from 2000 up to 2018 based on an automated search of nine electronic databases. Results: We identified 82 primary studies and classified them according to the above criteria. The mapping study revealed that most studies were solution proposals using a history-based empirical evaluation approach, the datasets most used were historical using object-oriented software applications, maintainability in terms of the independent variable to be predicted was most frequently expressed in terms of the number of changes made to the source code, maintainability predictors most used were those provided by Chidamber and Kemerer (C&K), Li and Henry (L&H) and source code size measures, while the most used techniques were ML techniques, in particular artificial neural networks. Detailed analysis revealed that fuzzy & neuro fuzzy (FNF), artificial neural network (ANN) showed good prediction for the change topic, while multilayer perceptron (MLP), support vector machine (SVM), and group method of data handling (GMDH) techniques presented greater accuracy prediction in comparative studies. Based on our findings SPMP is still limited. Developing more accurate techniques may facilitate their use in industry and well-formed, generalizable results be obtained. We also provide guidelines for improving the maintainability of software.

Opis:
In this paper we apply the de la Vallee Poussin sum to a combinatorial Chebyshev sum by Ziad S. Ali in [1]. One outcome of this consideration is the main lemma proving the following combinatorial identity: with $Re(z)$ standing for the real part of z we have \[ \sum_{k=n}^{2n-1}\left({2k \atop k}\right) = Re\left(\left({2k \atop k}\right) \text{}_{2}F_{1}(1, 1/2 + n; 1 + n; 4\right) - \left({4n \atop 2n}\right) \text{}_{2}F_{1}(1, 1/2 + 2n; 1 + 2n; 4) \] Our main lemma will indicate in its proof that the hypergeometric factors \[ _{2}F_{1}(1, 1/2 + n; 1 + n; 4); \text{ and } _{2}F_{1}(1, 1/2 + 2n; 1 + 2n; 4) \] are complex, each having a real and imaginary part. As we apply the de la Vallee Poussin sum to the combinatorial Chebyshev sum generated in the Key lemma by Ziad S. Ali in [1], we see in the proof of the main lemma the extreme importance of the use of the main properties of the gamma function. This represents a second important consideration. A third new outcome are two interesting identities of the hypergeometric type with their new Meijer G function analogues. A fourth outcome is that by the use of the Cauchy integral formula for the derivatives we are able to give a dierent meaning to the sum: \[ \sum_{k=n}^{2n-1}\left({2k \atop k}\right) \] A fifth outcome is that by the use of the Gauss-Kummer formula we are able to make better sense of the expressions \[ \left({2n \atop n}\right)\text{}_{2}F_{1}(1, 1/2 + n; 1 + n; 4), \text{ and } \left({4n \atop 2n}\right)\text{}_{2}F_{1}(1, 1/2 + 2n; 1 + 2n; 4) \] by making use of the series denition of the hypergeometric function. As we continue we notice a new close relation of the Key lemma, and the de la Vallee Poussin means. With this close relation we were able to talk about P the de la Vallee Poussin summability of the two innite series $\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\cos n\theta$ and $\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}(-1)^{n}\cos n\theta$. Furthermore the application of the de la Vallee Poussin sum to the Key lemma has created two new expansions representing the following functions: \[ \frac{2^{(n-1)}(1+x)^{n}(-1+2^{n}(1+x)^{n})}{n(2x+1)}, \text{ where } x=\cos \theta \] and \[ \frac {-2^{(n-1)}(-1 + 2^{n}(1-x)^{n})(1-x)^{n}} {n(2x - 1)}, \text{ where } x=\cos \theta \] in terms of the de la Vall´ee Poussin means of the two infinite series \[ \sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\cos\theta, \] and \[ \sum_{n=0}^{\infty}(-1)^{n}\cos\theta, \]

Opis:
In this paper we are concerned with the asymptotic behavior of random (unrestricted) infinite products of nonexpansive selfmappings of closed and convex subsets of a complete hyperbolic space. In contrast with our previous work in this direction, we no longer assume that these subsets are bounded. We first establish two theorems regarding the stability of the random weak ergodic property and then prove a related generic result. These results also extend our recent investigations regarding nonrandom infinite products.
