Opis:: This paper analyzes the real-world experience of using Bicycle traffic as a new way of supporting logistics traffic and reducing the load on the transport network of cities. As a result of this research, it was found that the real-world experience yields positive results and that cycling is actively becoming common in most of the world's cities. In the Russian Federation, not much attention has been paid to this in comparison with other countries; nevertheless, in recent years, this has been actively pursued. Research of the transport system supporting the city Stary Oskol of the Belgorod region and the Russian Federation allowed the authors to determine the main strategies for the development of a comprehensive and integrated Cycling network consisting of a Bikeway Plan as well as an economic assessment of its implementation. To justify this Bikeway plan, a simulation of travel time on public transport, calculation of the total travel time on various modes of transport and calculation of the walking time compared to the time spent in public transport were performed.

Opis:: The purpose of the article was to develop transport service for the Okręgowa Spółdzielnia Mleczarska using multiple traveling salesmen problems. In the paper calculated the approximate total costs of the transport and compared with current costs incurred in respect of the distribution process outsourcing. To solve the optimization task traveling salesman used a computer program.

Opis:: The problem of choosing the way to move people is often encountered both in scientific research and in everyday life. The difficulty of this process depends on the availability of many variants and the pursuit of satisfying transport needs at the minimum cost, in the shortest possible time and in the most comfortable conditions. The publication presents a decision problem of choosing the best transport option using multi-criteria methods. At the beginning authors presented the widely used methods of solving decision problems in the literature. Subsequently, based on the example of the Warsaw-Wroclaw connection, the MAJA multi-criteria assessment method algorithm was analysed. Both road, rail and air transport options were considered. Six possible variants of solutions were indicated, which were assessed in three sub-criteria: cost, time and comfort of travel. Then, the results of the analysis were compared with the results obtained using other multi-criteria decision-making support methods, i.e. ELECTRE I, AHP, TOPSIS, PROMETHEE, SAW, PVM. The considered methods were divided according to the way the result was presented, as a result of which the methods based on the relation of superiority (which included the MAJA method) and methods using ranking were distinguished, and then an intra-group comparison was made. On the basis of the constructed compliance matrix of the relation of superiority, it was found that domination methods exhibited convergence of the obtained results. However, in order to compare the convergence of the results of the ranking methods, the Spearman's linear correlation coefficient was used. The applied MAJA multi-criteria method has made it possible to determine non-dominated solutions considered optimal taking into account the adopted weights of criteria and compliance and non-compliance thresholds. Its unquestionable advantage is the possibility of using many partial criteria expressed in different measurement units. In the presented example, the best options were the premium express rail transport and airplane. The summary defines the direction of further research and possibilities of modification of the presented method.

Opis:: The work concerns selected rescue problems, including the handling of the 112 emergency number during the Covid-19 pandemic in Poland. The 112 number is valid throughout the EU, it is used only to notify in emergency situations of threat to health, life, or property. As social practice shows, disruptions in its functioning, including unjustified reports, significantly increase the costs of its operation, and in extreme cases may lead to failure to provide assistance to those in need. The ongoing pandemic has left a significant mark on many aspects of life, including the operation of rescue systems responsible for the safety of citizens in the country. The co-author of the work during the service of the 112 emergency number noticed some problems and disadvantages related to the rescue operation in crisis management. This was the reason for presenting this issue in the form of a publication. Selective problems of rescue in crisis management related to the ongoing pandemic were indicated. There are problems with the lack of strength and resources of the State Medical Rescue, the emergency notification process itself also requires improvement, as evidenced by the responses of the respondents -112 operators. Not all identified defects are presented in the publication. The list of problems indicated by the respondents is longer, not always related to the pandemic. Only appropriate changes in the management of the rescue system are able to improve the quality and efficiency of the system. The utilitarian solutions presented in this publication can serve this purpose.
Praca dotyczy wybranych problemów ratownictwa, w tym obsługi numeru alarmowego 112 podczas pandemii Covid-19. Numer 112 obowiązuje na terenie całej UE, służy wyłącznie do powiadamiania w nagłych sytuacjach zagrożenia zdrowia, życia lub mienia. Jak pokazuje praktyka społeczna, zakłócenia w jego funkcjonowaniu, w tym zgłoszenia niezasadne, znacząco podnoszą koszty jego działania, a w skrajnych przypadkach mogą doprowadzić do nieudzielenia pomocy osobom jej potrzebującym. Trwająca pandemia odcisnęła znaczące piętno na wielu aspektach życia, w tym na działalności systemów ratownictwa, odpowiedzialnych za bezpieczeństwo obywateli w państwie. Współautor pracy podczas pełnienia obsługi numeru alarmowego 112 dostrzegł pewne problemy i wady związane z działalnością ratownictwa w zarządzaniu kryzysowym. To stało się przyczyną zaprezentowania niniejszego zagadnienia w formie publikacji. W pracy zastosowano metody teoretyczne: analizę systemową, analogię, metodę statystyczną, analityczną i porównawczą. Ponadto wykorzystano badanie empiryczne -sondaż diagnostyczny w oparciu o próbę ekspercką. Zostało ono przeprowadzone za pomocą kwestionariusza ankiety. Przeprowadzono je na grupie 46 operatorów numeru alarmowego 112 pracujących w Centrach Powiadamiania Ratunkowego w Lublinie, Łodzi, Radomiu oraz Warszawie [n=46]. Wskazano selektywne problemy ratownictwa w zarządzaniu kryzysowym związane z trwającą pandemią. Występują problemy z brakiem sił i środków Państwowego Ratownictwa Medycznego, sam proces powiadamiania ratunkowego również wymaga poprawy, czego dowodem są odpowiedzi transEngin 2022, Volume 4 Issue 2 21 respondentów -operatorów 112. W publikacji nie zaprezentowano wszystkich stwierdzonych wad. Lista problemów wskazanych przez respondentów jest dłuższa, nie zawsze ma związek z pandemią. Jedynie właściwe zmiany w zarządzaniu systemem ratownictwa są w stanie poprawić jakość i sprawczość systemu. Utylitarne rozwiązane zaprezentowane w tej publikacji mogą temu posłużyć.
