    In the first part of the article the Italian theologian and philosopher Massimo Serretti presents the stages of formation of two concepts: person and nature, the stages of connecting them, and the stages when they appeared separately. On the example of the presented history of thought the author shows that separating the concept of nature from the concept of person has caused, among others, separating anthropology from personology, and in this way has influenced the view of man and the differentiated ethical approach to man as part of nature and as a being transcending nature thanks to the power of spirit. The author of the article proves that for Christian thought based on Revelation anthropology is personology, as the nature of man is not similar to anything in the world of nature; it only has counterparts in the world of Divine persons.

    In the second part of his paper (the first part was published in the 2011 issue of Yearbook of Dogmatic Theology), Massimo Serretti, an Italian theologian and personalist, shows that the parallel use of two terms, nature and person, is fundamental for the development of anthropology. The history of philosophical thought has proved that the gradual separation of those two categories has led to the rejection of the very notion of human nature, diminishing the value of the concept of human itself, understood materialistically and biologically. In the first part of his paper, Serretti concluded that the origin of the contemporary anthropological personalism is to be found in the Trinitarian doctrine.

    The phenomenon of clinical miscarriage sparks increasing interest of researchers from non-medical disciplines. Although there is still a significant disproportion between the voluminous literature on spontaneous miscarriage from a medical perspective compared to the growing number of studies conducted in the social and philosophical sciences, the process of changing the research orientation of early procreative losses is gradually progressing. The hitherto dominant one-sided biomedical approach is giving way to holistic axiomedical approaches. This study contributes to the axiomedical model of clinical miscarriage. It aims to provide an in-depth analysis of four key contexts of procreative loss occurring at early stages of prenatal development - anthropological, relational (parental attachment), psychological and supportive. As a result of the research conducted, it is concluded that the main dominant characteristic of clinical miscarriage as a thanatic event is the level of anthropological settlements regarding the status of the foetus and its ethical implications.
    Fenomen poronienia klinicznego wzbudza coraz większe zainteresowanie badaczy z dyscyplin pozamedycznych. Choć nadal dostrzegalna jest znacząca dysproporcja pomiędzy obszerną literaturą traktującą o poronieniu spontanicznym z perspektywy medycznej w porównaniu do wzrastających liczebnie studiów prowadzonych w zakresie nauk społecznych i filozoficznych, to sukcesywnie postępuje proces zmiany orientacji badawczej wczesnych strat prokreacyjnych. Dominujące dotychczas jednostronne podejście biomedyczne ustępujące miejsca holistycznym ujęciom aksjomedycznym. Niniejsze studium wpisuje się w aksjomedyczny model poronienia klinicznego. Jego celem jest pogłębiona analiza czterech kluczowych kontekstów straty prokreacyjnej występującej na początkowych etapach rozwoju prenatalnego ‒ antropologicznego, relacyjnego (przywiązania rodzicielskiego), psychologicznego i pomocowego. W rezultacie prowadzonych badań dochodzimy do wniosku, iż główną dominantą charakterystyk poronienia klinicznego jako zdarzenia tanatycznego jest płaszczyzna rozstrzygnięć antropologicznych statusu płodu i jego implikacji etycznych.

    Recenzowana monografia autorstwa lubelskiej teolog i psycholog, Urszuli Dudziak, stanowi interdyscyplinarne stadium familiologiczne i pastoralne eksplorujące trzy obszary badawcze o pryncypialnym znaczeniu dla duszpasterstwa rodzin: „płciowości i seksualności”, „płodności i prokreacji”, „starzenia się i umierania” człowieka. Celem podjętych w rozprawie badań literaturowych było wypracowanie integralnej syntezy antropologicznej ludzkiego biologizmu rozpatrywanego w ścisłym związku z pozostałymi sferami osobowymi. Autorka kompetentnie posłużyła się metodą monograficzną, wykorzystując metodologię badań teoretycznopoznawczych i szeroko czerpiąc z wyników nauk pomocniczych teologii pastoralnej. Całość opracowania jest dobrym przykładem personologii pastoralnej, która założenia chrześcijańskiej antropologii personalistycznej przekłada na język praktyki pastoralnej Kościoła katolickiego ukierunkowanej na integralny rozwój osoby ludzkiej w trzech szczególnych etapach jej życia: poczęcia i narodzin, aktualizacji zdolności prokreacyjnych i przekazywania daru życia, starzenia się i umierania.
    The reviewed monograph by Urszula Dudziak, a theologian and psychologist from Lublin, is an interdisciplinary familiological and pastoral case study exploring three research areas of paramount importance for the pastoral care of families namely “gender and sexuality”, “fertility and procreation”, and “ageing and dying” of the human being. The aim of the literature research undertaken in the dissertation was to develop an integral anthropological synthesis of human biologism considered in close relation to other personal spheres. The author competently used the monographic method, utilising the methodology of theoretical-cognitive research and drawing extensively on the results of the auxiliary sciences of pastoral theology. The study as a whole is a remarkable example of pastoral personology which translates the assumptions of Christian personalist anthropology into the language of the pastoral practice of the Catholic Church aimed at the integral development of the human person at three particular stages of his or her life namely conception and birth, actualisation of procreative abilities as well aspassing on the gift of life, ageing and dying.
