    The article focuses on the general principles regarding personal protection of people during a pandemic. The author indicates the difference between the concepts of an epidemic and a pandemic, characterizes civil protection, and specifies classification and possibilities of incorporating personal means of protection against biological infection. The text also highlights measures that contribute to protection of health and life of civilians as well as personal means of protection in the armed forces.The publication is based on the analysis of available literature on the subject. In the research process, the author used his many years of experience in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland (the chemical troops), including data gathered from simulation of conduct in CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) contaminated environment.

    Artykuł przedstawia tematykę środków ochrony i ich zastosowania w praktyce. Jako badany obszar przyjmuje się firmę działającą w przemyśle ciężkim na terenie huty. Środki ochrony stanowią kluczowy element wyposażenia każdego stanowiska pracy. A każdy pracodawca jest zobowiązany do wyposażenia pracownika w środki ochrony zarówno indywidualnej jak i zbiorowej. Wyposażenie każdego pracownika jest różne w zależności od piastowanego przez nich stanowiska. W artykule podjęto badania terenowe jako metodę badawczą, która ma na celu w sposób jeszcze bardziej wiarygodny opisać stosowanie środków ochrony w przedsiębiorstwie xyz. Jako, że pracownicy pracują a wysokości wymaga się od nich stosowania wszystkich środków zabezpieczających ich przed wypadkiem z wysokości. Wypadkowość w tym przypadku dąży do obniżenia jej do zera ponieważ każdy wypadek może prowadzić do ciężkiego uszczerbku na zdrowiu i/lub życiu pracownika. Rolą pracownika jest natomiast przestrzegać wszystkich wytycznych, które zostały mu przedstawione podczas szkolenia stanowiskowego oraz wstępnego.
    The article presents the subject of protection measures and their practical application. The research area is a company operating in the heavy industry on the premises of the steelworks. Protective equipment is a key element of every workplace equipment. And every employer is obliged to equip the employee with both individual and collective protective equipment. The equipment of each employee varies depending on their position. In the article, field research was undertaken as a research method, which aims to describe the use of protection measures in the xyz company in an even more credible way. As employees work and heights, they are required to use all measures to protect them against accidents from heights. In this case, the accident rate tends to reduce it to zero, because any accident may lead to serious damage to the health and / or life of the employee. The role of the employee is, however, to follow all the guidelines that were presented to him during the on-the-job and initial training.

    The disclosure of classified information can contribute to causing threat to national security. In order to prevent such situations in the Ministry of National Defense a specialized, full-time organizational units called protection sections have been appointed. Protection sections consists of secret offices which are responsible for recording, storage, circulation, publishing and archiving of classified information. The article also highlights the key threats to classified information, and discusses the organization of secret offices in the Ministry of National Defense. The idea of “instruments of protection” have been presented to ensure the safety for both offices and for the information which is being processed.

    Przetwarzanie danych osobowych obejmuje informacje gromadzone w systemach informatycznych, które bezpośrednio dotyczą zarówno konkretnych osób fizycznych, jak i takich, które można łatwo powiązać z konkretną osobą. Rozporządzenie, które ma bezpośredni skutek obowiązywania najpóźniej do dnia 25 maja 2018 r., będzie wymagać przed tym czasem rewizji istniejących systemów informatycznych w zakresie dotyczącym przetwarzania danych osobowych oraz uzyskania pozytywnego dostosowania do RODO. Przeprowadzone badania ankietowe w krajach UE oraz w Polsce wskazują, że duża część przedsiębiorstw uznała, że nie uzyska gotowości do kontroli przeprowadzanej przez organy nadzoru na dzień 25 maja 2018 r. Do zapewnienia zgodności przetwarzania danych w systemach informatycznych potrzebne jest wydawanie dowodów zgodności z przepisami za pomocą określonych raportów, procesów automatycznych, narzędzi informatycznych, których zastosowanie obniża ryzyko naruszenia prywatności. W artykule przeanalizowano ofertę produktów informatycznych oferowanych w tym celu na europejskim rynku producentów oprogramowania.
    The processing of personal data includes all information collected in IT systems that directly concern specific individuals, as well as those that can be easily related to a specific person. The Regulation EU, which has a direct effect on the latest by 25th May, 2018, will require the revision of existing IT systems regarding the processing of personal data and a positive adjustment to the GDPR. Surveys conducted in EU countries and in Poland indicate that a large part of enterprises did not see the possibility of being prepared for Regulator as of May 25th, 2018. To ensure compliance of data processing in IT systems, it is necessary to issue evidence of compliance with regulations by means of specific reports, automated processes, an IT tools, the use of which reduces the risk of compromising privacy. The article examined the offer of IT products offered for this purpose on the European market of software producers.
