    Objective: Teaching profession is characterised by an above-average rate of psychosomatic and mental health impairment due to work-related stress. The aim of the study was to identify predictors of mental health in female teachers. Material and Methods: A sample of 630 female teachers (average age 47±7 years) participated in a screening diagnostic inventory. Mental health was surveyed with the General Health Questionnaire GHQ-12. The following parameters were measured: specific work conditions (teacher-specific occupational history), scales of the Effort-Reward-Imbalance (ERI) Questionnaire as well as cardiovascular risk factors, physical complaints (BFB) and personal factors such as inability to recover (FABA), sense of coherence (SOC) and health behaviour. Results: First, mentally fit (MH⁺) and mentally impaired teachers (MH⁻) were differentiated based on the GHQ-12 sum score (MH⁺: < 5; MH⁻: ≥ 5); 18% of the teachers showed evidence of mental impairment. There were no differences concerning work-related and cardiovascular risk factors as well as health behaviour between MH⁺ and MH⁻. Binary logistic regressions identified 4 predictors that showed a significant effect on mental health. The effort-reward-ratio proved to be the most relevant predictor, while physical complaints as well as inability to recover and sense of coherence were identified as advanced predictors (explanation of variance: 23%). Conclusion: Contrary to the expectations, classic work-related factors can hardly contribute to the explanation of mental health. Additionally, cardiovascular risk factors and health behaviour have no relevant influence. However, effort-reward-ratio, physical complaints and personal factors are of considerable influence on mental health in teachers. These relevant predictors should become a part of preventive arrangements for the conservation of teachers' health in the future.

    The aim of our research was to confirm or reject the assumption that the intervention programme “E”-Empathy Development Programme-had a positive effect on changes in the cognitive and emotional component of empathy in the experimental group of students, future teachers. IRI-Interpersonal Reactivity Index (Davis, 1996) was used as the measuring tool. Data analysis of results showed differences in terms of desirable significant changes at the level of all IRI variables between the experimental group participating in experiential intervention and the group not participating in any intervention programme during testing.

    In the 21st century the most important need for both, the state and the organizations, is to ensure the security – providing conditions for the constant development of the organization and its proper operation. Knowledge, related to security issues, is necessary during the process of globalization and ever changing environment, resulting in an increase of the risk level in all areas of action, both at the micro and macro levels. Th e issue of safety management in organizations is particularly important because of the human resources strategy. Human resources are vital to the organization. Eff ort of the employees creates opportunities for the development of the company. Th eir eff ectiveness depends on a strategy and adaptation to the existing conditions. Th e importance of proper design and use of human resources, and above all their intellectual potential, is conducive to the eff ective operation of the company in a competitive market. Development of the organization is closely linked to the development of employees. One of the elements, having positive impact on eff ective implementation of the organizational plans, is to satisfy employees needs and expectations also in terms of security. It seems reasonable to respect the needs of staff , refl ected in the goals of the organization. Th is is the eff ect of Polish accession to the EU, which involves the need to respect the principles of the Community law.
    Zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa w XXI wieku jest najważniejszą potrzebą zarówno dla państwa, jak i organizacji. Polega ono na zapewnieniu funkcjonowania organizacji oraz warunków do jej ciągłego rozwoju. Wiedza związana z problematyką bezpieczeństwa jest niezbędna w okresie procesu globalizacji i nieustannie zmieniającego się otoczenia. Efektem tych działań jest wzrost poziomu ryzyka we wszystkich obszarach działania, zarówno w skali mikro jak i makro. Problematyka zarządzania bezpieczeństwem w organizacjach jest szczególnie istotna ze względu na strategię personalną. Zasoby ludzkie mają istotne znaczenie dla organizacji. Wysiłek pracowników stwarza szanse rozwoju fi rmy. Ich efektywność zależy od strategii i dostosowania do istniejących warunków. Znaczenie odpowiedniego kształtowania i wykorzystywania zasobów ludzkich, a przede wszystkich ich potencjału intelektualnego sprzyja skuteczności funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa na konkurencyjnym rynku. Rozwój organizacji jest ściśle związany z rozwojem pracowników. Elementem sprzyjającym realizacji zamierzeń fi rmy jest zaspokajanie ich potrzeb i oczekiwań także w zakresie bezpieczeństwa. Zasadne wydaje się respektowanie potrzeb personelu, które znajdują odzwierciedlenie w celach organizacji. Jest to efekt przystąpienia Polski do UE, co wiąże się z koniecznością respektowania założeń prawa wspólnotowego.

    The article presents the essence of reverse factoring with financial consequences in the nature of Personal Income Tax and Corporate Income Tax. The important part of this paper are issues of taxation the parties of this contract. At the beginning author indicates the taxation of the factor and the customer of the factoring institution. The article also points out the legal status of the supplier of the goods who is an orginal creditor of the customer of the factoring institution. The author pays attention to the important elements which are characteristic for the income tax such like the source of revenue, the tax deductible expenses and the moment of occurrence of income. The author concludes that the reverse factoring is becoming more and more popular contract among the small and medium enterprises so it is worth to see into this contract in the income tax context.
    W artykule zaprezentowano istotę umowy faktoringu odwróconego wraz z jej skutkami na gruncie podatku dochodowego od osób fizycznych i podatku dochodowego od osób prawnych. Istotną część opracowania stanowi problematyka opodatkowania tymi podatkami stron umowy faktoringu odwróconego. Na początku omówiono opodatkowanie faktora i faktoranta jako klienta instytucji faktoringowej. Przedstawiona została również sytuacja prawna dostawcy towarów i usług, który jest pierwotnym wierzycielem faktoranta. Przy każdej ze stron tej umowy zwrócono uwagę na elementy istotne dla charakterystyki podatków dochodowych, takie jak: źródło przychodów, koszty uzyskania przychodów, dochód, moment powstania przychodu. W podsumowaniu stwierdzono, że faktoring odwrócony jest umową coraz częściej zawieraną przez małych i średnich przedsiębiorców, dlatego warto bliżej się jej przyjrzeć w kontekście podatków dochodowych.

    Opis:
    The paper focuses on a peculiarity in the development of personal names in the region of Smolyan during the XX century: the substitution of part of the Arabic-Turkish personal names for anthroponyms of Slavonic roots. The author attempts to analyze the causes that incited parents to prefer personal names of Slavonic origin. A great number of historical events lead to changes in the system of personal names. Such changes occurred repeatedly during the centuries due to the assimilation aspirations of religious and state leaders that ruled this border region.
    W artykule poddano analizie imiona mieszkańców okolic bułgarskiego miasta Smolian w XX wieku. Cechą specyficzną analizowanego zbioru nazw jest ich płynność, m. in. zaobserwowano proces zamiany części imion pochodzenia arabsko-tureckiego imionami o genezie słowiańskiej. Autor ustalił przyczyny popularności antroponimów słowiańskich w zakresie nominacji mieszkańców poszczególnych miejscowości tego rejonu. Okazuje się, że zmiany antroponimicznych tendencji nazwotwórczych okolic miasta Smolan można obserwować  w ciągu całego XX wieku, głównie z powodu prowadzonej w tym okresie polityki asymilacji narodowej oraz w wyniku rozmaitych inicjatyw ze strony samych polityków.
