The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between personal, business, management, and social skills and the entrepreneurship program of students from an educational institution with an entrepreneurial profile in the creation of micro and small companies. The type of research was quantitative, correlational, and non-experimental. The subjects were 320 students from the field of economic and administrative sciences. The instrument was validated by four professors from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, Autonomous University of Coahuila, Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Ecate-pec, and the Technological Institute of Sonora and had two sections. In the first, there were 17 general information questions, and the second contained 45 questions on a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. Regarding the results, it was demonstrated that personal, business, management, and social skills as well as skills developed in educational programs are significant and have a positive relationship with the entrepreneurial profile for the creation of micro and small businesses. The study provides the basis for other studies that seek to assess the skills of entrepreneurs and the creation of micro and small businesses.

Opis:
The article deals with the issues related to the modernization of the educational programme "Computer Engineering" for the IT-profile graduates using competence-based approach. The problems of specialists training, ways of modernizing the educational programme are considered. Particular attention is paid to the competence-based approach and the specifics of teaching at Master’s level according to the new curriculum. The transformational experience of the higher education system of the Republic of Belarus is analysed from the point of view of its adaptation to the European Higher Education Area standards and traditions as well as from the point of view improving its efficiency in the conditions of dynamic labour market. Special emphasis has been made on IT-specialist social competences development as a condition for both professional self-realisation and more successful professional socialisation of future specialists.

Objectives: This current study investigates the relationship between the endorsement of masculine and feminine gender role orientation in accordance with Bem’s indices and both personal resources and coping with stress. Materials and Methods: The Bem Sex Role Inventory, the Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations, the Satisfaction with Life Scale, the Life Orientation Scale-Revised, the General Self-Efficacy Scale and the Personal Competence Scale were completed by 308 employees of a city transport company (123 females and 185 males). Results: Results reveal that androgynous individuals, masculine women and masculine men, possess stronger psychological resources compared with undifferentiated and feminine individuals. Moreover, satisfaction with life, femininity, the sense of personal competence and optimism are significant predictors of coping (in descending order of influence). Masculinity is a significant positive predictor only in problem-oriented coping. Conclusions: These findings may have implications for the conservation of personal resources as well as for stress management interventions.

Opis:
The article discusses the structure and competence of the risk management teams in self-government administration institutions in terms of crisis management. The individual roles and responsibilities of employees responsible for the implementation, execution and control of the risk management process are indicated. The results of investigations carried out in selected self-government administration institutions, including municipalities, districts and provinces, on the preparation of the staff to carry out risk management tasks are discussed. Change directions and recommendations for structuring risk management teams have been proposed. These proposals constitute one of the elements of the overall risk management model in crisis management.
W artykule przedstawiono rozważania dotyczące struktury i kompetencji zespołów ds. zarządzania ryzykiem w jednostkach administracji samorządowej w aspekcie zarządzania kryzysowego. Wskazano poszczególne role i zadania pracowników odpowiedzialnych za wdrożenie, realizację i kontrolę procesu zarządzania ryzykiem. Omówiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w wybranych jednostkach administracji samorządowej, w tym: w gminach, powiatach i województwach, dotyczących przygotowania kadry pracowniczej do realizacji zadań z zakresu zarządzania ryzykiem. Zaproponowano kierunki zmian i rekomendacje w zakresie tworzenia struktur zespołów ds. zarządzania ryzykiem. Propozycje te stanowią jeden z elementów ogólnego modelu zarządzania ryzykiem w zarządzaniu kryzysowym.

Each person working as a probation officer should have specific personal features and professional competence. Very often, productivity of probation officers is determined by their personal features. The current research aimed to determine, the level of variables mentioned above. The results show that positive interpersonal relationships have the highest importance for probation officers, whereas positive attitude towards oneself is the least important factor As for professional competencies, the one connected with realization was assessed the highest and postulate competence scored the lowest. The perception of probation officers by the charged is determined by their personality predisposition, a system of values, the attitude towards moral norms, communication skills, and the awareness of the servitude of their profession. The profession of the probation officer should not be associated or identified with the control of the inferiors but with the support they should be granting.

The article deals with auditing of personal data processing by the body responsible for protection of personal data – the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection (GIODO). The analysis of this issue is preceded with a presentation of the system of personal data processing audit, on the basis of the act on personal data protection. The system comprises not only GIODO audits, but also audits conducted by entities that participate in data processing, data protection officers, persons whose data is concerned, and numerous organs of legal protection that, during their activities, make an assessment of the compliance of data processing with the regulations on data protection. In her article, the author discusses GIODO audits – their scope, stages, audit competence of inspectors, and audit documentation, as well as legal measures that aim to restore the state compliant with the law, and consequences for persons responsible for irregularities. Moreover, the article presents the issue of GIODO audits from a broader perspective, comprising issues related to the duties of data protection officers and their appointment, which have been recently regulated anew.

Decline of life satisfaction is a common consequence of unemployment together with the negative self-view and lack of personal control. The effectiveness of the training of the social competencies in changing the sense of personal coherence, social beliefs and life satisfaction of the unemployed was probed. Eighty unemployed persons participated in a longitudinal study with a control group. Although the participants did not differ significantly at the beginning of the study, these unemployed persons who participated in the social competencies training reported after 6 months significantly higher sense of personal coherence, more positive vision of social system and enhanced life satisfaction. Unemployed from the control group after 6 months experienced a significant decline in life satisfaction, deterioration of sense of personal coherence and reported more negative vision of social system. The model of impact of social competence training on the change of life satisfaction of the unemployed being mediated by the change of the sense of personal coherence and change in system justification was tested and proved to fit the data. In conclusion, training social competence of unemployed may be crucial to prevent a decline of their life satisfaction and enhance the belief in their own abilities to cope with the stressful experience of being unemployed.
