The present article is a contribution to the study of the history of Polish-Russian linguistic contacts and focuses on the phenomenon of Russianisms (Russian expressions) in the Polish language, in particular on the phenomenon of lingering Russianisms in the Polish language during the inter-war period (1918–1939). The issue has not been sufficiently and thoroughly scholarly addressed so far. The article discusses the lexical borrowings from Russian that were used in the Polish language used in “Tygodnik Ilustrowany”. This weekly publication was published in Warsaw throughout the whole of the inter-war period in Poland. The analysis covers relevant vocabulary excerpted from five annual volumes of the periodical, i.e. from the years 1926–1930. The author attempts to prove and illustrate to what degree the influence of the Russian language was manifested in the lexis used by editors and journalists of the weekly, what elements of this influence remained between 1918–1939 after the long period of partition and the immense influence of Russian upon the Polish language. Additionally, the author examines whether the Russian influences gained support in the Polish language of former inhabitants of the Eastern Polish borderlands who later settled in free Warsaw or in the language of those of its inhabitants who spent part of their lives in Russia.

The Baltic elements in the grammar of traditional local dialects of north-western BelarusThe article analyzes a number of grammatical features typical for the North-West dialect zone of the Belarusian language. These peculiarities are interpreted as a possible result of Slavic-Baltic contacts in the region. Some phenomena can be explained as a Baltic (mainly (great)Lithuanian) substratum in North-West Belarusian dialects.The factor of areal neighborhood has to be taken into consideration too. Such phenomenon as language support has effect just in connection with the last one. A lot of the appropriate lingual facts are in restricted and inconsistent use. However, it is possible to be said about more or less significant (now or/and before) tendencies of regional lingual development. These tendencies has not got the status of a structural (= constitutional) lingual regularity. As a rule the wide and compact areas are characterized of some lingual facts (= lexemes), which illustrate the given transformations in the system of Belarusian dialects. Baltic influence upon the North-West Belarusian dialects grammar is detected on as the formal level so the structural one. And it is not noticeable at all times. The definite changes in the sphere of morphology and syntax can provoke different modifications in the other parts of a language system (word building, semantics). The results of this process are the evidences of ethnic and language assimilation of native Balts by Slavs in the region. That comes in support of forming the singular North-West Belarusian regiolect (= the regionally marked variety of a dialect language). Балтийские грамматические элементы в говорах северо-западной БеларусиВ статье анализируется ряд грамматических черт, характерных для говоров северо-западной диалектной зоны беларусского языка. Эти особенности квалифицируются автором как весьма вероятное следствие славяно-балтского языкового взаимодействия в соответствующем регионе. Отдельные явления есть основания рассматривать в качестве возможного проявления балтского (главным образом (пра-) литовского) субстрата в северо-западных беларусских говорах. Фактор ареальной смежности здесь также должен быть принят во внимание. В связи с последним следует упомянуть и действие феномена языковой поддержки. Многие соответствующие языковые факты имеют существенные ограничения в употреблении, в говорах выступают не всегда последовательно и регулярно. В некоторых случаях, однако, можно говорить о действии более или менее выраженных (в настоящем и/или прошлом) тенденций регионального языкового развития, которые пока не приобрели статус структурно значимой (= конститутивной) языковой закономерности. Широкие и компактные ареалы образуют, как правило, лишь отдельные языковые факты (= лексемы), иллюстрирующие данные трансформации в системе традиционных беларусских говоров. Балтское влияние на грамматический строй беларусских говоров северо-западной диалектной зоны выявляется как в плане формального выражения, так и на внутриструктурном уровне. Оно не всегда может быть заметно на первый взгляд. Определенные сдвиги в сфере морфологии и синтаксиса могут повлечь за собой изменения в других областях языковой системы (словообразовании, семантике). Результаты этого процесса являются ярким свидетельством того, что на отмеченной территории действительно имела место этноязыковая ассимиляция неславянского (= балтского) населения и происхо- дило формирование своеобразного северо-западного беларусского региолекта (= регионально обусловленной разновидности диалектной речи).

This paper is a critical edition of Jehoszafat Kapłanowski’s (a Trakai-born Karaimspeaking Odessan) two letters written in Hebrew script that were sent in 1868 to Lutsk. The study is augmented by a glossary and facsimile, as well as brief historical comments on some of the persons mentioned in the text.

Family sciences constitute a question which is not only exceptionally complex as far as the number of disciplines that ought to be taken into consideration in their analysis is concerned, but also one that is unusually complicated – on account of relations and interdependence between the particular constituent disciplines. The network of interrelations between the particular disciplines composing this branch of knowledge, theoretical and paradigmatic references, specific sensibility of the examined sphere of phenomena, the extreme susceptibility to manipulation and suprainterpretations are just some of a number of problems opening new prospects as successive questions are considered. The present article introduces some basic problems of family sciences as an interdisciplinary discipline in the context of the general methodology of sciences and methodology of social sciences. It deals with questions of the semantic concept of „family sciences”, the internal structure of this branch of science, methodological peculiarities occurring within the examined branch and fundamental philosophical and practical questions that have to be tackled by each scholar.

The main subject of this research is one of the regions of Ukraine – Eastern Galicia, the territory undergoing long religious disputes, especially in the first third of 20th century. The paper presents the biography, the separate aspects of conductor’s and composer’s activity of Tadeusz Kurpiński, as a representative of this region. It also systematizes his notes writing in the field of church music with characterization of the typical features of his artistic oeuvre.In its largest part the paper focuses on the research of musical features of «Divine Service» by T.Kurpiński. The time scope of writing this cycle is determined on the basis of biographic information about the composer and the materials of magazines treating on the contemporary cultural-and-artistic  as well as religious life in this region. The article provides the literary-and-artistic, stylistic, musical-and-theoretical, vocal-and-choral analyses of the performance of the liturgy cycle considering the stylistic tendencies and creative experience of previous composers of church music of Eastern Galicia.
Obiektem naszego badania został jeden z regionów Ukrainy − Galicja Wschodnia, terytorium której było miejscem sporów religijnych, zwłaszcza w pierwszej trzeci XX wieku. Artykuł przedstawia biografię, określa pewne aspekty działalności dyrygenta i kompozytora Tadeusza Kupczyńskiego jako przedstawiciela wskazanego regionu. Usystematyzowano jego dorobek notohraficzny w dziedzinie muzyki liturgicznej, wyodrębniono charakterystyczne cechy twórczości.Główna treść tego artykułu poświęcona jest badaniu osobliwości muzycznych „Mszy świętej” Tadeusza Kupczyńskiego. Determinowany został okres napisania cyklu na podstawie informacji biograficznych o kompozytorze, a także materiałów czasopism dotyczących ówczesnego stanu artystyczno-kulturowego i religijnego życia w regionie.Zrealizowano literacko-artystyczną, stylistyczną, teoretyczno-muzyczną, wokalno-chóralną i analizę wykonywania cyklu liturgicznego z uwzględnieniem tendencji stylowych, a także doświadczenia twórczego poprzednich kompozytorów muzyki liturgicznej Galicji Wschodniej.

Opis:
The article is devoted to the historical evolution and modern development trends of the Constitution of Poland. It provides the general characteristics of formation and development of the Republic of Poland. It is emphasized that Poland is the earliest explorer of the European constitutionalism. Since 1791 in the constitutional history of Poland were approved the nine constitutional documents. In addition, consideration is given to such historical constitutions as the Constitution of May 3, 1791, the Grodno Constitution of November 23, 1793, the Lower Constitution of February 20, 1919, the March Constitution of 1921, the Constitution of 1935, the Constitution of the Peoples’ Republic of Poland of 1952, the Constitution of 1976, the present Constitution of 1997. The article reveals the main features of the present Constitution and characterizes contemporary constitutional system of Poland.
Статья посвящена исторической эволюции и современным тенденциям развития польской Конституции. В ней дается общая характеристика становления и развития Республики Польши. Особо отмечается, что Польша является первопроходцем европейского конституционализма. В польской конституционной истории принято, начиная с 1791 г., девять конституционных актов. Рассматриваются такие исторические Конституции Поль-ши как Конституция 3 мая 1791 г., Гродненская Конституция (23 ноября 1793 г.), Малая Конституция (20 февраля 1919 г.), Мартовская Конституция (1921 г.), Конституция (1935 г.), Конституция ПНР (1952 г.), Конституция 1976 г., действующая Конституция 1997 г. Выявлены основные особенности действующей Конституции и характеризуется современная конституционная система Польши.

The article deals with the communicative and pragmatic peculiarities of clichés as regular standardised stereotypical units in the language of the Ukrainian mass media. The pragmatics of clichés is to be found in the process of every day mass communication. Social and linguistic conditions reflect the wide potentialities of cliché usage in mass media discourse. They correspond to the key principles of the mass media’s language which is the well-ordered alternation of standard and expressive language units. Using clichés is based on the fact that an addresser’s linguistic production and an addressee’s comprehension settle the contradiction between our needs in communication and the tendency to minimise our physical and mental efforts. The presupposition of using clichés is considered to be stereotyped knowledge based on the notional connection between the explicit meaning of a standardised formula and the implicit socio- and lingua-cultural experience of the communicants. Explicitly indicating factual information with the help of clichés determines the language strategies of the parties in communication. Using clichés provides an opportunity to manipulate both collective and individual consciousness.

Ukrainian researchers face the challenge of the acquisition of foreign language skills at least at B2 level. The available formal opportunities do not satisfy their needs to the full. The initiative of the Institute of Pedagogical and Adult education of the National Academy of educational Sciences of Ukraine to organize peer-to-peer eSL and eAP courses is described and analyzed in the article in order to identify the factors which can stimulate the learning process of the specific category of adult learners. As a result, 4 groups of them were distinguished: andragogical, didactic, course and peer-to-peer principles. The conclusion was made that these principles can create an adequate theoretical and methodological basis for realizing the initiative in practice.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki inwentaryzacji baz danych w zakresie rejestracji danych na temat użytków ekologicznych. Obszar badań dotyczy granic administracyjnych Miasta Krakowa. Materiał badawczy pozyskano na podstawie analiz istniejących baz danych rejestrujących użytki ekologiczne, których podstawę stanowią powiatowe bazy Ewidencji Gruntów i Budynków (EGiB) oraz bazy danych Rejonowego Zarządu Gospodarki Wodnej (RZGW) w Krakowie prowadzącego tzw. Kataster wodny. Zgodność niniejszych danych porównano z danymi Miejskiego Systemu Informacji Przestrzennej (MSIP) oraz Rejonowej Dyrekcji Ochrony Środowiska (RDOŚ), a następnie wykonano specyfikację opisową dla wszystkich (zarejestrowanych do kwietnia 2016 roku) 12 użytków ekologicznych. W pierwszej kolejności poddano analizie stopień szczegółowości danych w zakresie rejestracji użytków ekologicznych w katastrze wodnym oraz EGiB, następnie w pozostałych bazach opisowych i przestrzennych obszaru badań. W części badawczej autorzy przeprowadzili inwentaryzację wybranego obiektu w terenie oraz stworzyli dla niego dokumentację opisowo-graficzną osobliwości przyrodniczych. Celem tego opracowania było miedzy innymi zwrócenie uwagi na potencjał turystyczny i przyrodniczy jaki dla dużego miasta stanowi użytek ekologiczny oraz pozyskanie danych do opracowania koncepcji interaktywnej mapy tematycznej osobliwości przyrodniczych, z wykorzystaniem zintegrowanych technik geodezyjnych GPS i GIS. Mapa ta będzie stanowić kolejny etap opracowania i nie stanowi przedmiotu niniejszej publikacji.
The paper presents the results of the inventory of databases for the registration of data on the ecological sites. The area of research concerns the administrative borders of Krakow. The research materials ware obtained on the basis of analyzes of existing databases recording ecological sites, which constitute the basis of a district database Register of Land and Buildings (EGiB) and database District Water Management Board (Regional Board) in Krakow city, responsible for the Water Cadastre. The compatibility of the achieved data were compared with the data of the Municipal Information System (MSIP), and the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection (RDOŚ), and then a descriptive specification for all (registered till April 2016), 12 of ecological sites was performed. In the first stage the analysis of the detailed data in the databases of the ecological water cadaster and EGiB was performed, then in other databases of descriptive and spatial available for the research area. In the research part of the paper the authors carried out the inventory of the selected object in the studies area and the documentation descriptive and graphical natural curiosities was created. The main aim of this study was to draw attention to natural and tourism potential, which is for the big city in an ecological site and obtaining the data to develop the concept of an interactive thematic map natural curiosities, using integrated techniques of surveying GPS and GIS. Such a map will be the next stage of research and is not the subject of this paper.

W artykule omawia się osobliwości leksykalne Psałterza Dawidowego Mikołaja Reja, czyli formy wyrazowe, które nie mają poświadczenia w szesnastowiecznych źródłach leksykograficznych bądź ówczesne słowniki odnotowują je tylko z tekstu Reja. Tego rodzaju leksemy osobliwe są licznie reprezentowane w Rejowej parafrazie, pojawiają się najczęściej jako ekwiwalenty synonimiczne, nierzadko nawet dublety słowotwórcze leksemów o ugruntowanej już pozycji w polszczyźnie literackiej. O wprowadzaniu do tekstu parafrazy neologizmów decydowały różnorodne czynniki, m.in.: dążność do precyzji językowej, możliwości kreacyjne leksemu, dążność do regularności słowotwórczej oraz względy wersyfikacyjno-rytmiczne, polegające na grupowaniu w bliskim sąsiedztwie formacji tworzonych za pomocą tego samego przyrostka. Na wybór niektórych neologizmów wpływała także chęć różnicowania leksemów w sąsiadujących ze sobą paralelnie zestawianych wersetach.
The article focuses on lexical peculiarities of David’Psalter by Mikołaj Rej, that is on these lexical forms which are not present in the 16th-century lexicographic sources or which are present in the dictionaries only on the basis of Rej’s works. Such peculiar lexemes frequently appear in Rej’s paraphrase, usually as synonymic equivalents, or even as word-formation doublets, of lexemes whose position in Polish literature is stable. Various factors decided about whether to include neologisms in Rej’s paraphrase, such as: the desire to strive for lexical precision and word-formation regularity, the possibilities of creating a lexeme and the aspect of versification and rhythm, which aimed at putting together forms created with the help of the same suffix. What helped to choose and accept some neologisms was also the desire to divide these lexemes which occurred next to each other in parallel verses.

Opis:
W artykule podkreślono fizjologiczne aspekty organizacji wychowania fizycznego studentów. Aktualność problemu została spowodowana ostrą potrzebą zmiany podejścia do kwestii wychowania fizycznego, z uwzględnieniem zdrowia psychicznego i odporności na stres młodzieży studenckiej. Badania wykazały związek pomiędzy odpornością na stres, wydajnością i zmęczeniem. Udowodniono skuteczność organizacji procesu adaptacji studentów do aktywności fizycznej, mając na celu zapobieganie u nich rozwojowi stanów stresowych. Na podstawie badania, oraz z uwzględnieniem doświadczeń w realizacji sposobów poprawy zdrowia i optymalizacji wychowania fizycznego studentów, został opracowany szereg wskazówek dla nauczycieli kultury fizycznej.
The article highlights the physiological aspects of the organization of physical education of students. The importance of the problem is caused by an acute need for a change in approach to the orientation of physical education, taking into account mental health and stress resistance of students. The study found a correlation between stress resistance, workability, and fatigue/ The efficiency of the organization of the process of adaptation to physical activity in students with the aim of preventing the development of their stressful conditions was proved. On the basis of the study and taking into account experience of implementing ways of improving focus and optimization of physical education of students the number of tips for physical education teachers were developed.

The paper presents the results of phytosociological research on the thermophilous oak forest Potentillo albae-Quercetum Libbert 1933 nom. invers., which has been carried out in the central part of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The association, which has been stated in 7 localities, is a new type of forest vegetation in this region. On the basis of 35 relevés, made in 2001 following the Braun-Blanquet method, the only subassociation P.a.-Q. brachypodietosum pinnati has been distinguished. It has been divided into two variants: with Pleurozium schreberi (on acid sites), and with Asarum europaeum (on basic ones). The investigated phytocoenoses abound in floristic peculiarities, such as: Adenophora liliifolia, Bupleurum longifolium, Euphorbia angulata, Festuca amethystina ssp. ritschlii, Lilium martagon, Potentilla alba.

Opis:
Danger of pollution of water areas of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait from possible technogenic catastrophes is diagnosed as a result of comparison of wind power calculations and the current state of coast of the gulf. Ideas of a uniform West Temryuk stream of deposits are disproved. Three dynamic systems in the east and in the center of a coastal arch and the unidirectional alongshore stream of pollutants and energy in the western segment of the Temryuk gulf are revealed.
