The text develops selected aspects of the philosophical-existential issues evoked by the quotation from K. Gąsiorowski's poetry contained in the title of the article. First of all tautology of the poetic quasi-definition of the world presented in the fragment is a problem. Secondly, the impression of the triumph of philosophical context (especially of E. Husserl and M. Heidegger) of the meaning of the word “world” evoked in the analyzed phrase over its semantic content in the aesthetic dimension (over the reduction of the poetic function, bordering on banality) is a contentious issue. In the discussion of the latter of these problems – limited because of the requirement concerning the brevity of the article – the category of “the third man” as a social construct formulated by Gąsiorowski – will prove helpful.

Opis:
The objective of the paper is to examine the issue of admissibility of adoption by homosexuals from the perspective of relevant human rights. In this context, it is crucial to establish whether a refusal to give permission to adopt a child solely on the grounds of an applicant’s sexual orientation would constitute a breach of the principle of non-discrimination where the legal system provides for the possibility of applying for adoption by an unmarried individual. Different treatment of homosexual persons with regard to access to adoption is perceived by many scholars as justified considering the principle of the best interest of a child. It seems, however, that this justification lacks sufficient support in scientific research into the influence of upbringing by homosexual persons on the child’s development. Taking into account the European Court of Human Rights case law, it must be recognised that homosexual orientation should not be regarded as a condition that by itself rules out the possibility of adoption, at least in case where a legal system admits such a possibility with regard to single individuals. On the other hand, the legal capacity to adopt a child can be derived neither from the right to respect for one’s private and family life nor from the right to found a family.
Celem niniejszego opracowania jest analiza kwestii dopuszczalności adopcji dzieci przez osoby homoseksualne z perspektywy poszczególnych praw człowieka. W tym kontekście szczególnie istotną kwestią jest ustalenie, czy w sytuacji, gdy prawo przewiduje możliwość przysposobienia przez osobę samotną, odmowa zgody na adopcję wyłącznie ze względu na orientację homoseksualną stanowi naruszenie zakazu dyskryminacji. Odmienne traktowanie tej kategorii osób w dostępie do adopcji bywa uzasadniane ze względu na konieczność realizacji zasady dobra dziecka. Wydaje się jednak, że uzasadnienie to nie ma wystarczającego oparcia w wynikach badań na temat wpływu wychowania przez osoby homoseksualne na rozwój dziecka. Uwzględniając aktualne orzecznictwo Europejskiego Trybunału Praw Człowieka należy uznać, że orientacja homoseksualna osoby ubiegającej się o adopcję nie powinna być traktowana per se jako przesłanka wyłączająca możliwość adopcji przynajmniej w przypadku, gdy prawo krajowe dopuszcza możliwość przysposobienia przez osoby samotne. Nie jest natomiast możliwe wyprowadzenie prawa do adopcji z prawa do założenia rodziny, czy też z prawa do poszanowania życia prywatnego i rodzinnego.

Opis:
The axiological guidelines for the training of preschool education specialists are determined by modern requirements for preschool education, first and foremost, by the consolidation of separate values around the ideal – the concept of a preschool child. Being perceived and appropriated by a preschool teacher, they form professional value orientations and serve as an indicator of professional orientation, personal and professional development. It is the value orientations that determine the attitude of a person to the world, himself, his profession. Professional pedagogical education aims at formation of the future teacher’s value orientation. Its content is determined by pedagogical values of European higher education (quality, mobility, appeal, democracy, human-centeredness, tolerance, peacefulness, environmental security, human rights, solidarity, identity, multiculturalism, professionalism, civic consciousness) and humanistic values of the profession itself (spirituality, morality, love, respect, patience, freedom, compassion, justice, knowledge, competence, personal orientation, childcenteredness, etc.). It is important to turn the improvement of professional teacher training into an interdisciplinary quest pursued at the philosophical, sociological, psychological, pedagogical, physiological, medical, methodological and other levels. Since the child is the core of pedagogical profession, the content of pedagogical education should include not only knowledge about the child, but also instructions on how to apply it. Of great significance are practical training, the use of person-oriented technologies, exposure of students to the environment, where the approaches, ideas, principles, methods and technologies underlying professional activities of future teachers are implemented.
Aksjologiczne wzorce kształcenia specjalistów edukacji przedszkolnej są ustalane według współczesnych wymagań odnoszących się do edukacji przedszkolnej, zmierzającej w kierunku ideału, tzn. obrazu dziecka-przedszkolaka. Kształtowanie orientacji specjalistycznej przyszłego pedagoga powinna realizować edukacja zawodowo-pedagogiczna. Na jej treść mają wpływ wytyczne europejskie oraz humanistyczne walory zawodu nauczycielskiego. Istotne jest, aby kształcenie i doskonalenie zawodowe pedagogów miało charakter interdyscyplinarny i by było realizowane nie tylko w oparciu o wiedzę psychologiczną i pedagogiczną, ale też filozoficzną, socjologiczną, medyczną. Ponieważ kwestia dotyczy wychowania dziecka, ważne jest aby treści edukacji pedagogicznej wzbogacić zarówno wiedzą o nim (dziecku), jak i wskazówkami pozwalającymi praktycznie z tej wiedzy korzystać. Duże znaczenie odgrywają tu szkolenia, rozeznanie środowiska i inne czynniki, na podstawie których przyszli specjaliści mogą budować swoją działalność zawodową.

Niniejszy tekst stanowi opis i zastosowanie metody badania sfery politycznej w sieci World Wide Web przy użyciu metodologii analizy sieciowej. Część pierwsza ma charakter teoretycznego wprowadzenia do zagadnienia analizy sieciowej i szkicuje problematykę badań sfery politycznej w Internecie. Część druga stanowi prezentację badania skupiającego się na analizie orientacji politycznych wyłaniających się ze struktur połączeń domen internetowych o tematyce politycznej.

The issues addressed in this paper relate to a possible change in the observer’s social value orientation under the influence of a specific emotional expression being perceived on another individual’s face. The paper fits into the trend in the research into the link between social value orientations and the perception of a facial emotional expression. An „omnibus” type representative survey was carried out according to the experimental scheme, entirely via the Internet (N = 972). The following tools were used: for the measurement of social value orientations, a modified version of the Ring Measure of Social Values; for the experimental manipulation, photographs of facial expressions (happiness, anger, neutrality). In the light of the data obtained, one may, for the very first time, speak of social value orientations as of a dimension being susceptible to a change under the influence of a facial expression. A diversity of the indicators of the orientation on the others was shown, as well as of the distribution of the groups of the dominant social value orientations before and aft er the experimental manipulation, depending on the type of a basic facial emotional expression being presented (happiness vs anger). Directional predictions were confirmed with regard to the negative manipulation (expression of anger) which was followed by a reduction in the orientation on the others and a reduction in the total number of altruists, while the positive manipulation (expression of happiness) resulted in a general increase being observed in the number of altruists. It remains in line with the trend in predictions that observation of a positive facial expression triggers prosocial tendencies, while observation of a negative facial expression undermines prosocial tendencies.
Kwestie poruszone w tym artykule dotyczą możliwej zmiany orientacji społecznej obserwatora pod wpływem określonego wyrazu emocjonalnego postrzeganego na twarzy innej osoby. Artykuł wpisuje się w nurt badań nad związkiem między orientacjami społecznymi, a percepcją emocjonalnej ekspresji mimicznej. Badanie reprezentatywne typu „omnibus” przeprowadzono w schemacie eksperymentalnym za pośrednictwem Internetu (N = 972). Wykorzystywane narzędzia to: zmodyfikowana wersja Metody Kołowej Liebranda do pomiaru orientacji społecznych; zdjęcia ekspresji mimicznych (radość, złość, neutralna) do manipulacji eksperymentalnej. W świetle uzyskanych danych można po raz pierwszy mówić o orientacjach społecznych jako wymiarze podatnym na zmianę pod wpływem obserwowanej ekspresji mimicznej. Wskazano na zróżnicowanie wskaźników orientacji na innych oraz rozkładu grup dominujących orientacji społecznych sprzed i po manipulacji eksperymentalnej, zależnie od rodzaju prezentowanej mimicznej ekspresji emocji podstawowej (radość vs złość). Kierunkowe przewidywania uzyskały potwierdzenie w odniesieniu do manipulacji negatywnej (ekspresją złości), po której nastąpiło zmniejszenie się orientacji na innych i zmniejszenie się ogólnej liczby altruistów, natomiast w wyniku manipulacji pozytywnej (ekspresją radości) zaobserwowano ogólny wzrost liczby altruistów. Pozostaje to w zgodzie z charakterystyką przewidywań, iż obserwacja pozytywnego wyrazu twarzy wyzwala tendencje prospołeczne, natomiast obserwacja negatywnego wyrazu twarzy osłabia tendencje prospołeczne.

Celem artykułu jest odpowiedź na pytanie, jaki jest charakter zakazu przed dyskryminacją ze względu na orientacją seksualną w prawie UE (zasada ogólna w prawie UE czy zasada lub prawo w ramach Karty). W artykule uwaga została zwrócona na charakter art. 21 Karty (prawo czy zasada) i zakres (podmiotowy i przedmiotowy) zakazu dyskryminacji ze względu na orientację seksualną w prawie UE oraz jego skuteczności (wertykalnej czy horyzontalnej). Badaniu zostały poddane postanowienia prawa UE wraz z orzecznictwem TSUE w tym obszarze.
This article aims to answer the question, what is the nature of the prohibition against discrimination based on sexual orientation in the EU law (the general rule in EU law or rule or law under the Charter)? Therefore, in the article attention has been paid to the nature of art. 21 of the Charter (right or principle) and scope (subjective and objective), the prohibition of discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation in the EU law and its effectiveness (vertical or horizontal). The study has been subjected to the provisions of EU law and the jurisprudence of the ECJ in this area.

Purpose: The main research problem, which is also the subject of the study, was to recognise a relation between creative life orientations and their impact on the potential development of a creative organisation. Methodology: The article reviews research on the impact of cognitive, theoretical, methodological and empirical issues using Cudowska's questionnaire (2004). To analyse the data Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used and then parametric tests were applied: Student's t-test, ANOVA and Tukey's post hoc test. Findings: The discussion and final conclusions focus on the impact of the above relationships on the creative development of these organisations. The results of the study showed that the development of the analysed creative organisations is not strongly contingent on the creative life orientations of their employees. Undoubtedly, the development of creative organisations depends on them, yet other factors, equally important in Polish conditions, should be sought. Research limitations/implications: The obtained research results are treated as pilot ones. The complete achievement of the research goal requires continuation of the research on a larger respondents. Practical implications: The results of the research can be used to improve the policy of development creative in organisations. Social implications: Modern entities need professionals with the ability to act independently, efficiently and effectively, but also creatively. This professionalism in the context of an organisation requires not only perfection in the execution of activities, but also the reduction of barriers that inhibit the creative development of an organisation. Hence, the issue of understanding the importance of creative development for organisational performance has been in recent years and continues to be addressed by researchers around the world. To a certain extent, this article responds to this demand in terms of the topics covered. Originality/value: This is the first study of this type conducted on the choosen population in Poland.

This article looks at the relationship between the ethical attitudes and behavior of employees. It shows that the prediction of behavior on the basis of attitudes is not a simple matter and has a number of methodological problems. Behavior can reasonably be inferred only if it is considered together with situational and subjective factors that serve as moderators and mediators of compliance as well as the previous experiences and behavior of individuals.
W artykule przedstawiono związki między etycznymi postawami a zachowaniami pracowników. Ukazano, że przewidywanie zachowań na podstawie postaw nie jest rzeczą oczywistą i niesie ze sobą wiele problemów natury metodologicznej. O zachowaniach możemy wnioskować w sposób uzasadniony jedynie wówczas, gdy pod uwagę brane będą sytuacyjne i podmiotowe czynniki będące moderatorami i mediatorami zgodności, a także wcześniejsze doświadczenia i zachowania poszczególnych osób.
