The international order, denoting in a very general sense the manner of the organization and functioning of the international environment in a given period of time, is a dynamic construction that evolves. The feature of the present stage is a transition from its earlier form called the Westphalian order to the future form with qualitatively new features, sometimes called the post-Westphalian order. This process does however mean that the “parameters” of the Westphalian international order are to be replaced by the parameters of the post-Westphalian order. The qualitatively new features of the organization and functioning of the international environment “coexist” with those characteristic of the Westphalian system of international relations. This “coexistence” determines the distinctive feature of the present stage of international relations, which is a hybridity or combining of solutions, often opposing in their logic, relating to the organization and functioning of the international environment. Hence it seems appropriate to term the present stage of dynamics of and change in international relations as the late Westphalian order.

In this paper I look at a number of apparently trivial valid inferences (as well as some invalid and missing inferences) associated with the possessive construction and with different types of adjectival modification of nouns. In the case of possessives, all analyses I know of, whether implemented or not, systematically sanction invalid inferences. In the case of adjectives, there are some model-theoretic linguistic analyses that are adequate at a theoretical level, but no satisfactory practical computational implementations that I am aware of which capture the correct inference patterns. A common thread between the possessive and the adjectival construction is that to derive the correct inferences we need secondo order quantification. This is an uncontroversial move within modeltheoretic formal semantics but a problem for computational semantics, since we have no fully automated theorem provers for anything Rother than first order logic (and only for subsets of first order logic do we have provers that are both fully decidable and efficient). I explore what is needed to provide a proof-theoretic account of the relevant inference patterns, and suggest some analyses requiring second order axioms. In order to make this a practical computational possibility I go on to propose two techniques for approximating such inferences in a first order setting. The suggested analyses have been fully implemented, and in an appendix I provide a small FraCaS-like corpus of relevant examples, all of which are handled correctly by the implementation.

Let G=(V,E) be a graph with p vertices and q edges. A second order triangular graceful labeling of a graph G is an one to one function φ:V(G)→{0,1,2,…,B_q} where B_q is the qth second order triangular number, ie., B_q=1/6 q(q+1)(2q+1), that induces a bijection φ^*:E(G)→{B_1,B_2,…,B_q} of the edges of G defined by φ^* (uv) =|φ(u)-φ(v)| ∀ e=uv ∈E(G). A graph which admits such labeling is called a second order triangular graceful graph. In this paper, we introduce second order triangular graceful labeling and we prove that star, subdivision of star, nK_1,3, nK_2, bistar, path, comb, coconut tree, shrub and Y-tree are second order triangular graceful graphs.

Chaos and order are the two categories that are perceived curiously in education. The intention of the author is to show them in different configurations. On one hand the author presents how to go over to legal order from organizational chaos and on the other hand she proves that one can go through chaos to order, for example class order, with the use of appropriate methods. Finally, entering into the process of teaching-learning, the author presents the evidence to support that chaos is not always synonymous with disorder. It also has its order which is a source of infinite possibilities.
Podejmując się próby rozpoznawania chaosu i porządku na gruncie edukacji, pragnęłam dowieść, że oba te pojęcia są immanentnie w nią wpisane. W szerszym kontekście edukacyjnym starałam się pokazać chaos i porządek w sensie prawnym. Przyjęłam konwencję opisu porządku prawnego, który to porządek może doprowadzić do chaosu organizacyjnego, a ten może z kolei okazać się niebezpieczny dla funkcjonowania placówek oświatowych. W przestrzeni sytuacji szkolnej wyartykułowałam sytuację odwrotną, dowodząc, że z chaosu naturalnego można skutecznie przejść do porządku klasowego, który jest warunkiem dyscypliny i ładu na lekcji. Wreszcie w płaszczyźnie procesu nauczania skupiłam się na chaosie, dowodząc, że nie zawsze jest on synonimem nieporządku, ma też wartość porządkującą, organizującą dydaktykę wokół twórczej myśli.

The paper presents an approximation method for elementary fractional order transfer function containing both pole and zero. This class of transfer functions can be applied for example to build model - based special control algorithms. The proposed method bases on Charef approximation. The problem of cancelation pole by zero with useful conditions was considered, the accuracy discussion with the use of interval approach was done also. Results were depicted by examples.

The article considers whether the L2-learners use the analogical mechanisms for transforming the syntax as the native users of the language in question. In the questionnaire survey the stability of the preference to interpret the first nominal phrase observed in transforming L1 to be the subject of a sentence, and its influence on non-structural factors, such as animacy have been analysed. It has been shown that L2-learners, similar to the native users of the language in question, prefer the subject-object word order, and that the general preference should not be covered by the semantic information.

Opis:
Die Frage nach der Existenz einer unmarkierten Abfolge und Kriterien ihrer Abgrenzung von anderen Linearisierungsvarianten gehört zu zentralen Problemen der Wortstellungsforschung. Im Beitrag wird das Ziel verfolgt, die bisherigen germanistischen Untersuchungen zur Anwendbarkeit der Markiertheitstheorie in der Wortstellungsforschung zu systematisieren. Dabei fällt das Schwergewicht auf die Abgrenzung und Charakteristik der folgenden Grundpositionen zur unmarkierten Abfolge: der pragmatischen, lexikalischen und strukturellen Zugänge, der Interaktionsmodelle, in denen die Konzepte der markierten und unmarkierten Abfolge abgelehnt werden bzw. wesentlichen Modifikationen unterliegen, sowie der Ansätze, in denen die Erkenntnisse verschiedener Grundpositionen miteinander verknüpft werden.
Kwestia istnienia szyku neutralnego i kryteriów jego wyodrębnienia należy do najistotniejszych do dziś nie rozstrzygniętych problemów opisu składniowego. W artykule podjęto próbę systematyzacji dotychczasowych badań germanistycznych dotyczących wspomnianego zagadnienia. W toku analizy wyodrębniono następujące stanowiska, charakterystyczne dla różnych koncepcji językoznawczych: pragmatyczne, strukturalne i leksykalne ujęcie szyku neutralnego, krytykę oraz modyfikacje opisu szyku nacechowanego i nienacechowanego w modelach interakcyjnych, jak również próbę syntezy różnych stanowisk, przedstawianych w literaturze przedmiotu, ze strony wybranych badaczy językoznawstwa germańskiego.
The question about the existence of an unmarked order and criteria for its distinguishing belongs to the most controversial issues in syntactic description. In this paper, we present an overview of previous research devoted to the potential implementation of markedness theory in word order analysis. We claim that the variety of accounts to the unmarked order in German can be divided into five groups with their unique characteristics: the pragmatic, structural and lexical accounts of the unmarked order, the rejection and modification of the concepts of unmarked order and markedness in models based on interaction between conflicting constraints and – finally – accounts providing a synthesis of proposals found in the linguistic literature.

The paper presents a method for identifying the parameters Lβ1, β1, Lβ2, β2, Mγ, γ of a fractional-order transformer. This method is based on the measurement of the phase resonance frequency in a few systems containing: the investigated fractional-order transformer and two standard capacitors. The dependencies allowing the determination of the fractional-order transformer parameters have been given, on the basis of the described measurements. The obtained results are illustrated by an example.

The paper presents an analysis of the transient state in a simple circuit of RCα class with a supercapacitor. The behavior of supercapacitors differs from that of classic capacitors, which influences voltage and current waveforms in circuits containing them. The waveforms are described by relations of fractional-order integral-differential calculus. A simple fractional-order supercapacitor model, including its series internal resistance, has been assumed for the analysis. The obtained solution of the fractional-order differential equation describing the examined circuit is presented. The impact of different values of the parameter α on the solution has been analyzed too. The derived relations are illustrated by simulation examples for the circuit powered by a DC voltage source. This situation describes the supercapacitor charging process. Its charging time depends mainly on the value of fractional-order parameter α of the supercapacitor.

In recent decades, sociologists have too often ignored the group level-the meso-level of analysis-in their emphasis on either the individual or the institution. This unfortunate absence misses much of what is central to a sociological analysis of community based on “action.” I draw upon Erving Goffman’s (1983) concept of the interaction order as I argue that a rigorous political sociology requires a focus on group cultures and tiny publics. Group dynamics, idiocultures, and interaction routines are central in creating social order. This approach to civic life draws from the pragmatism of John Dewey, as well as the broad tradition of symbolic interactionist theorists. Ultimately, I argue that a commitment to local action constitutes a commitment to a more extended social system.

Among all the elections organized in Poland, presidential elections are not only the ones with a highest turnout, but also most eagerly investigated by the researchers. However, the studies concerning the importance of this particular voting is not often examined. On the one hand, there are arguments to classify it as first-order election, on the other, for certain reasons they ought to be regarded as second-order. The aim of this article is to answer the question whether 2015 Polish presidential election were of first or rather second-order importance. In his analysis, the author focused on the following issues: personal strategies, programme strategies, the course of the campaign in the traditional and new media, the level of electoral participation and the influence of the election on the course and outcome of the parliamentary campaign.

The article describes the implementation of fractional order PI controller with the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The control system proposed is used for positioning of an electrohydraulic drive with Bosch Rexroth servo valve. The controller is based on PLC, working under real time operating system Automation Runtime. User interface is equipped with the touch panel of Power Panel 500 type. In the first part of the paper the fractional order calculus theory is introduced. In addition, some examples of fractional controller implementations in different kinds of objects are presented. The subsequent section focuses on author’s own research. The Oustaloup’s method description is recalled along with its computer implementation. Further, the impact of finite order of the approximation function is verified. The article includes the description of test stand structure, code generation and implementation of PI controller on the dedicated PLC.

Opis:
The frequency of intensional and non-first-order definable operators in natural languages constitutes a challenge for automated reasoning with the kind of logical translations that are deemed adequate by formal semanticists. Whereas linguists employ expressive higher-order logics in their theories of meaning, the most successful logical reasoning strategies with natural language to date rely on sophisticated first-order theorem provers and model builders. In order to bridge the fundamental mathematical gap between linguistic theory and computational practice, we present a general translation from a higher-order logic frequently employed in the linguistics literature, two-sorted Type Theory, to first-order logic under Henkin semantics. We investigate alternative formulations of the translation, discuss their properties, and evaluate the availability of linguistically relevant inferences with standard theorem provers in a test suite of inference problems stated in English. The results of the experiment indicate that translation from higher-order logic to first-order logic under Henkin semantics is a promising strategy for automated reasoning with natural languages.

The Weibull distribution is one of the important distributions used in reliability theory and life-testing experiments. The generalised versions of the Weibull distribution give a more flexible model for these studies. The Weibull–G family of distributions is one of the extended versions extensively studied. In this paper, we have studied moments properties of generalised order statistics for the said distribution in terms of a single moment, product moments and characterisation. Several examples and special cases are presented. The results can be applied to all distributions belonging to this family.

In this paper a fractional-order backward-difference/sum (FOBD/S) equivalent formulae are considered. From the Gr¨unwald- Letnikov (GL - FOBD) definition formula and its Horner equivalent form one derives the Riemann-Liouville FOBD (RL - FOBD). Also the Caputo and polynomial-like forms are defined. All forms may be useful in real-time calculations (in the evaluation of digital control strategies) due to the reduction of fractional orders. The investigations are illustrated by a numerical example.

Higher-order mutants are created by injecting two or more mutations into the original program, while first-order mutants are generated by seeding single faults in the original program. Mutant generation is a key stage of mutation testing which is computationally very expensive, especially in the case of higher-order mutants. Although many mutation testing techniques have been developed to construct the first-order mutants, a very small number of techniques have been presented to generate the higher-order mutants because of the exponential growth of the number of higher-order mutants, and the coupling effect between higher-order and first-order mutants. To overcome the exponential explosion in the number of higher-order mutants considered, this paper introduces a new technique for generating a reduced set of higher-order mutants. The proposed technique utilizes a data-flow analysis to decrease the number of mutation points through the program under test and consequently reduce the number of higher-order mutants. In this technique only positions of defs and uses are considered as locations to seed the mutation. The generated set of higher-order mutants consists of a reduced number of mutants, which reduces the costs of higher-order mutation testing. In addition, the proposed technique can generate the higher-order mutants directly without generating the first-order mutants or by combining two or more first-order mutants. A set of experiments are conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed technique. The results of the conducted experiments are presented and compared with the results of the related work. These results showed that the proposed technique is more effective than the earlier techniques in generating higher-order mutants without affecting the efficiency of mutation testing.

The paper is intented to show a new, state space, discrete, non integer order model of a one-dimensional heat transfer process. The proposed model derives directly from time continuous, state space model and it uses the discrete Grünwald-Letnikov operator to express the fractional order difference with respect to time. Stability and spectrum decomposition for the proposed model are recalled, the accuracy and convergence are analyzed too. The convergence of the proposed model does not depend on parameters of heater and measuring sensors. The dimension of the model assuring stability and predefined rate of convergence and stability is estimated. Analytical results are confirmed by experiments.

The purpose of the school system organized by the Dominicans in the thirteenth century was to provide their congregation with a supply of preachers to further the mission expressed in the popular motto of the order: contemplari et contemplata aliis tradere. In the period when the first friaries were being organized, human resources for the order were the numerous friars recruited from university circles. This manner of acquiring educated friars would not, however, be a permanent solution especially in peripheral regions where there were not yet any universities. Hence, the order had to take upon itself the task of creating new personnel. This was the situation mostly in Northern and Central Europe, as well as in the Teutonic Order’s Baltic jurisdiction in Prussia, where Dominican friaries operated that belonged to the Polish province of the order. This paper presents the system of Dominican schools functioning mainly in the fifteenth and the early sixteenth century within the Prussian contrata, a lower auxiliary unit in the order’s administration, encompassing the Teutonic Prussia regions. In addition to the running of schools, the foreign studies of Dominican friars from this region will also be discussed.

The purpose of this article is to suggest tools of inventory management which would determine economically optimal order quantities. One of them is based on the so-called fixed order quantity model which takes into account several elements of inventory cost, such as ordering cost, transportation and storing cost, frozen capital cost, as well as extra discounts. The tool is based on fuzzy concepts represented by Ordered Fuzzy Numbers. The second tool takes into account the dynamics and works on the basis of replenishment system. This tool can be treated as a kind of controller. Examples of using this tools are presented.

This paper describes the essence of EDI systems with advantages and disadvantages arising from their use and briefly characterizes the essence of ERP systems. The ultra-short pulse propagation in a non-uniform fiber system is investigated based on the variable coefficient coupled higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation with the dispersion gain and nonlinear gain terms. By using the ansatz method and the split-step Fourier method, we get the exact solitary wave solution, with which the transmission process of the solitary wave is studied. Furthermore we obtain the stability of the solitary wave under finite initial perturbations. The interaction between two neighboring solitary waves is also studied.

Architektura współtworzy czasoprzestrzenne środowisko życia i jako taka stanowi układ odniesienia dla procesów życiowych każdego z nas. Ma ona charakter dualny. Z jednej strony ma wymiar fizyczny, z drugiej psychologiczny, będąc odzwierciedleniem w naszych umysłach tego pierwszego. Ma zatem charakter antropogeniczny i antropocentryczny. Fizyczna i psychologiczna przestrzeń życia to dwa główne pojęcia, w ramach których definiuje się czasoprzestrzeń architektoniczna. Trzy komponenty ładu psychicznego tej przestrzeni wydają się najważniejsze, a mianowicie: wzorce archetypowe, potrzeba trwałości układu odniesienia i potrzeba tożsamości kulturowej. Współczesną, poprzemysłową czasoprzestrzeń architektoniczną cechują rewolucyjne i wielokrotne zmiany paradygmatów, dokonujące się w czasie życia jednego pokolenia. Ich tempo i zakres prowadzą do dysharmonii pomiędzy fizyczną i mentalną przestrzenią życia, powodując zachwianie ładu psychicznego w tej ostatniej. Liczne symptomy wskazują na to, że zdolność człowieka do przebudowy swojego wewnętrznego ładu psychicznego jest ograniczona i może nie nadążać za coraz szybszymi przemianami cywilizacyjnymi. Szczególnie niepokojące są wyraźnie widoczne przejawy częściowej lub całkowitej arogancji w stosunku do status quo ładu psychicznego pojedynczego człowieka, polegające między innymi na jego przedmiotowym, a nie podmiotowym traktowaniu. Analiza przedstawionych w wywodzie zjawisk prowadzi do twierdzenia, że pozornie wieczna racja kanonu jedności witruwiańskiej triady: firmitas, utylitas, venustas ulega współcześnie wyraźnemu zachwianiu, co oznacza prawdopodobnie czas poważnej redefinicji teoretycznych podstaw architektury.
Architecture co-creates space-time environment for the life, and as such constitutes a frame of reference for the processes of life of each of us. It has a dual character. On the one hand the physical dimension, on the other psychological, being a reflection of the first one in our minds. Consequently, it is anthropogenic and anthropocentric. Physical and psychological living space are the two main concepts within which defines the architectural space-time. Three components of the order of mental-space seem to be most important, namely, the archetypal patterns, the need for stability of the system of reference and the need for cultural identity. Contemporary, post-industrial architectural space-time is characterized by revolutionary and frequent changes of paradigms, taking place during the lifetime of one generation. Their pace and scope lead to disharmony between the physical and mental space of life, causing mental disturbance of order of the latter. Many symptoms indicate that the person’s ability to rebuild its internal mental governance is limited and cannot keep up with the ever faster changes of civilization. Particularly worrying is clearly visible manifestations of arrogance, partial or complete, with respect to the status quo of mental order of the single person, inter alia, relying on objective and not subjective treatment. The analysis of the phenomena presented in article leads to the assertion that seemingly eternal canon of Vitruvian Triad: firmitas, utilitas, venustas is markedly disrupted today, what probably means that we live in the time of a redefinition of the major theoretical foundations of architecture.

Poszukiwania prowadzone przez filozofów politycznych dotykają zwykle wymiaru normatywnego: wsparte na rozstrzygnięciach dotyczących pojmowania świata, niekiedy z udziałem osobowego Boga, oraz pojmowania człowieka w świecie tym osadzonego, ustalają podstawy ładu stanowiącego analogon kosmosu lub wyraz Bożej woli, następstwo ewolucji lub rozstrzygnięć świadomie dokonywanych przez panujących albo legitymizujących ich. Drugi wymiar budzi mniejsze zainteresowanie filozofów, większe prawników i politologów wkraczających niekiedy również na pole filozofii politycznej. Wymiar ten ma walor instytucjonalny, wiążąc się z próbą wskazania „mechanizmów” pozwalających realizować ład normatywny. Przedmiotem rozważań będą różne rozwiązania proponowane w obu wymiarach refleksji przez dwóch polskich autorów XVII w.
Studies conducted by political philosophers focus typically on the normative dimension. Grounded in decisions concerning the understanding of the world, sometimes with the participation of a personal God, and of man as a part of it, they lay the foundations of the order constituting an analogue of the cosmos, or the result of God’s will or evolution, or the effect of decisions made consciously by the ruling or those who legitimize them. The second dimension is of less interest to philosophers, as opposed to lawyers and political scientists who are interested also in political philosophy. This dimension has an institutional value and is connected with the investigation of “mechanisms” enabling the achievement of normative order. My considerations will involve various propositions in the two dimensions, made by two Polish authors from the 17th century.

Opis:
Current research in robot compliance control is unable to take both transient contact force overshoots and steady-state force tracking problems into account. To address this problem, we propose a fuzzy fractional order (FO) adaptive impedance controller to avoid the force overshoots in the contact stage while keeping force error in the dynamic tracking stage, where traditional control algorithms are not competent. A percentage gain is adopted to map FO parameters to integer order (IO) parameters by their natural properties, and a fuzzy logical controller is introduced to improve the system stability. The simulation results indicate that the proposed controller can be made more stable than and superior to the general impedance controller, and the force tracking results also have been compared with the previous control methods.

In this paper, we introduce new classes of nonsmooth second-order cone-convex functions and respective generalizations in terms of first and second-order directional derivative. These classes encapsulate several already existing classes of cone-convex functions and their weaker variants. Second-order KKT type sufficient optimality conditions and duality results for a nonsmooth vector optimization problem are proved using these functions. The results have been supported by examples.

An approach to nonlinear constrained mathematical programming problems which makes use of a second order derivative is presented. By using a second order modified objective function method, a modified optimization problem associated with a primal mathematical programming problem is constructed. This auxiliary optimization problem involves a second order approximation of an objective function constituting the primal mathematical programming problem. The equivalence between the original mathematical programming problem and its associated modified optimization problem is established under second order convexity assumption. Several practical O.R. applications show that our method is efficient. Further, an iterative algorithm based on this approach for solving the considered nonlinear mathematical programming problem is given for the case when the functions constituting the problem are second order convex. The convergence theorems for the presented algorithm are established.

W artykule podjęto próbę ukazania, na ile koncepcja współporządków Wilhelma Röpkego może posłużyć do budowy współczesnej teorii polityki publicznej. Założenie o wzajemnym oddziaływaniu na siebie porządków: prawnego, kulturowego i ekonomicznego stawia przed polityką publiczną określone zadania szerszego przemyślenia konsekwencji działań w sferze publicznej. Z drugiej strony normatywna koncepcja ładu społeczno-gospodarczego zaproponowana przez Wilhelma Röpkego pozwala na ocenę również współczesnej postaci kapitalizmu. W artykule podjęto taką próbę. W ten sposób zostały ukazane problemy, przed jakimi staje obecnie polityka publiczna: przywrócenia porządku wolnościowego w dobie oligopolistyczno-korporacyjno-finansowego kapitalizmu, zwalczania asymetrii w sferze posiadania własności oraz prowadzenia zrównoważonej polityki imigracyjnej. Normatywna koncepcja ładu społeczno-gospodarczego wyznacza też liczne zadania, jakie powinna realizować polityka publiczna. Sprowadzają się one do spełniania postulatów aksjologicznych, a mianowicie działania zgodnie z wartościami: efektywności, konkurencyjności i wolności gospodarczej, a w sferze społecznej realizacji wartości personalistycznych (godności, wolności osobistej, odpowiedzialności, sprawiedliwości, równości i solidarności). Sama polityka publiczna ma być kształtowana również według zasady subsydiarności i realizować ideę bezpieczeństwa socjalnego.
Normative concept of The Social-Economic order proposed by Wilhelm Röpke allows for the valuation of the modern shape of Capitalism. In the introduction the author has attempted to show the actual problems faced by current Public Policy such as reinstatement of the socially accepted order of freedom during era of oligopolistic-corporate-finance oriented capitalism, fight against asymmetric distribution of wealth and  management of sustainable Immigration Policy. Wilhelm Röpke was a member of a group called “Ordo liberals”. According to the Ortoliberals the public policy needs to allow most possible freedoms to all citizens (including economic free market freedoms). At the same time, the Ortoliberals want to be active in preparing the Public Policy which would prepare a platform for effective economy, fair justice system and equal opportunity for all members of society. According to Ortoliberalism, administrative actions need to follow the principle of subsidiarity. The Public Policy must also ensure social justice and protection of dignity for the whole population, as expected in the society governed by Social Solidarity.

This article attempts to analyze the theoretical and legal aspects of the concept of a command functioning in the Polish law. The conducted study will be illustrated with examples taken from selected legal acts, including in particular, the statues of Military Counterintelligence Service and Military Intelligence Service, Internal Security Agency and Intelligence Agency, The Police and the Criminal Code. This article attempts to demonstrate that, in the Polish legal system, the concept of a command exists in a “sensu stricto” meaning, which is the military command within the meaning of the Penal Code, and in a “sensu largo” meaning, which includes a series of instructions, which do not meet the requirements of definitional meaning of command in the “sensu stricto” sense. The conducted analysis has shown that inconsistent use of the concept of command by the legislature, jurisprudence and doctrine leads to many theoretical and practical problems, in particular, the fact that, for disobeying the exact same order, soldiers and functionaries may be punished in different ways. This article is limited to the area of linguistic analysis only. The need of such narrow approach of the subject is dictated by the fact, that the question of command is not only tied to the military law, but also to the other areas of law such as public international, criminal and administrative law.
Artykuł stanowi próbę analizy pojęcia rozkazu funkcjonującego w polskim prawie. Prowadzone rozważania teoretyczno-prawne zilustrowane zostaną przykładami z wybranych aktów prawych, z uwzględnieniem w szczególności ustaw o: Służbie Kontrwywiadu Wojskowego i Wywiadu Wojskowego, Agencji Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego i Agencji Wywiadu, Policji oraz Kodeksu karnego. W artykule podjęto próbę wykazania, że w polskim systemie prawnym funkcjonuje pojęcie rozkazu sensu stricto, a więc rozkazu wojskowego w rozumieniu Kodeksu karnego, oraz pojęcie rozkazu sensu largo, obejmującego szereg poleceń służbowych, niespełniających wymogów definicyjnych rozkazu sensu stricto. Przeprowadzone analizy mają także pokazać, że niekonsekwentne posługiwanie się pojęciem rozkazu przez ustawodawcę, orzecznictwo i doktrynę prowadzi do wielu teoretycznych i praktycznych problemów, a w szczególności skutkuje tym, że żołnierze i funkcjonariusze za niewykonanie tych samych rozkazów mogą ponosić różną odpowiedzialność. W artykule ograniczono się do płaszczyzny analiz językowych. Konieczność takiego zawężenia prowadzonych rozważań podyktowana jest tym, że problematyka rozkazu związana jest nie tylko z prawem wojskowym, ale też z innymi gałęziami prawa, takimi jak prawo publiczne międzynarodowe, karne i administracyjne.

Palladium(II) sorption was studied in hydrochloric acid solutions with sodium chloride addition onto Dowex MSA-1 and Dowex MSA-2 resins by means of the static method. The dependence between the amount of palladium(II) ions sorbed at time tin a disequilibrium state (qt) as well as the sorption capacities (qe) and phases contact time were obtained. The results were applied in kinetic studies using the pseudo-fi rst (Lagergren equation) and pseudo-second order kinetic equations (linear form of Blanchard equation proposed by Ho, PSO). Moreover, the equilibrium studies were caried out at ambient temperature and fitted to the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms. The AFM pictures of the surface of anion exchange resins before and after the loading process were also recorded. Both resins exhibit high selectivity towards palladium(II) ions. The sorption capacities are in the range 7–10 mg/g for both resins under discussion in all examined solutions. Th e pseudo-second order kinetic equation and the Langmuir isotherm show the best fit with the experimental data.

The article of J. Clunie and T. Sheil-Small [3], published in 1984, intensified the investigations of complex functions harmonic in the unit disc \(\Delta\). In particular, many papers about some classes of complex mappings with the coefficient conditions have been published. Consideration of this type was undertaken in the period 1998–2004 by Y. Avci and E. Złotkiewicz [2], A. Ganczar [5], Z. J. Jakubowski, G. Adamczyk, A. Łazinska and A. Sibelska [1], [8], [7], H. Silverman [12] and J. M. Jahangiri [6], among others. This work continues the investigations described in [7]. Our results relate primarily to the order of starlikeness and convexity of functions of the aforementionedclasses.

Non-linear phenomena appear in many fields of engineering and science. Research on numerical methods is continually extending with the improvement of the latest computing tools. In today’s computational field, one requires maximum achievement in a minimum amount of time. Therefore, there is a need to modify the Newton-type method to achieve higher-order convergence to solve non-linear equations. While the modified methods are expected to be higher-order convergent, the minor computational information and the maximum time efficiency are also important factors. We propose a three-step hybrid iterative method having a non-linear nature. Per iteration, the method requires three function evaluations and three first-order derivatives. The method is theoretically proven to be tenth-order convergent. The mathematical results of the proposed strategy to solve models from fluid dynamics, electric field, and real gases demonstrated better performance. In light of error analysis, computational productivity, and CPU times, the proposed method’s performance is compared to the famous Newton and a recently proposed tenth-order method.

The article presents selected problems concerning instructions in public administration. First, attention is paid to the official instruction. It is issued in service relationships, which differ from employment relationships. By issuing an official direction, the service superior obliges a subordinate employee to perform a specific official activity, including to submit a declaration of knowledge on public issues. An official direction is an individual administrative act.These official instructions are issued when it is necessary to correct the performance of public tasks by a subordinate employee. The obligation to comply with an official instruction is not absolute. The addressee of the instruction may raise objections and even refuse to execute an unlawful official instruction.Instructions issued by a superior authority to a subordinate authority constitute a separate group. Such an instruction is an internal act. It may concern the method of performing tasks or taking specific actions within the scope of operation of a subordinate authority. Instructions issued between public administration authorities are aimed at adapting activities to the directions of public policy and correcting the manner of performing public tasks. There is no appeal against an instruction issued by a superior authority. These are binding.The last category concerns intervention orders. The intervention order does not result from organizational superiority or official subordination. This is a request addressed to the public administration authority to take action to abolish the danger in emergency situations. Intervention orders are issued in particular in matters of protection of life, public health, property, protection of civil rights, maintenance of public policy.

El trabajo consta de tres partes: en la primera, tras una introducción, se intentará exponer brevemente la situación de las fundaciones autónomas en las diócesis españolas y en la Conferencia Espicopal española; en la segunda, se expondrán desde la práctica situaciones sobre el régimen jurídico de fundaciones autónomas públicas y privadas, que se están constituyendo en las diócesis españolas y en la Conferencia Espicopal, en las que se observa, por parte de las autoridades eclesiásticas, una falta de criterio e la hora de distinguir entre fundaciones públicas y privadas, al. Tiempo que se presenta como inevitable la necesidad de un desarrollo de la normativa particular sobre fundaciones autónomas. En la tercera parte, finalmente se esbozarán algunas propuestas que podrían integrar esta normativa particular sobre las fundaciones autónomas.
Artykuł składa się z trzech części: pierwsza, poprzedzona wstępem, przedstawia zwięźle sytuacje fundacji autonomicznych w diecezjach hiszpańskich i Konferencji Episkopatu Hiszpanii; w części drugiej ukazano sposób postępowania wobec fundacji publicznych i prywatnych powoływanych do życia w diecezjach hiszpańskich i przez Konferencję Episkopatu Hiszpanii, gdzie w konsekwencji zauważamy brak jasnych kryteriów w odróżnianiu fundacji publicznej od prywatnej przez władze kościelne, w momencie uregulowania prawnego o fundacjach autonomicznych. W części trzeciej zostały przedstawione niektóre propozycje umożliwiające integrację przepisów partykularnych w odniesieniu do fundacji autonomicznych.
The article is divided into three parts: the first one, preceded by an introduction, succinctly presents ethe position of autonomous foundations in Spanish dioceses and the Episcopal Conference in Spain; the second part shows the procedurę used for public and private foundations created in Spanish dioceses and by the Episcopal Conference in Spain, wher as a consequence we can see the lack of clear criteria in differentiating public and private foundautions by the Church autoritier, in the moment of legal regulating of the autonomous foundations. The third part contains presentations of some of the solutions enabling integration of particular rules concernind autonomous foundations.

To investigate the existence of higher-order intermodal entanglement, higher-order single-mode antibunching, higher-order intermodal antibunching and spin squeezing, a first order analytic operator solution of the Hamiltonian of quadratically-coupled optomechanical system is constructed using short time approximation for different field modes. Temporal variations of these nonclassical properties under different coupling strengths are studied, neglecting the effect of optical losses, environmental effects and also dissipation. With an increasing order number, the depth of these nonclassical properties is increased. Spin squeezed states are observed in any direction, i.e., either in Sx or Sy direction.

Let R be a complete discrete valuation ring with quotient field K, L/K be a Galois extension with Galois group G and S be the integral closure of R in L. If a is a factor set of G with values in the group of units of S, then (L/K,a) (resp. Λ =(S/R,a)) denotes the crossed product K-algebra (resp. crossed product R -order in A). In this paper hermitian and quadratic forms on Λ -lattices are studied and the existence of at most two irreducible non-singular quadratic Λ -lattices is proved (Theorem 3.5). Further the orthogonal decomposition of an arbitrary non-singular quadratic Λ -lattice is given.

In this work, the design of current mode Fractional order filter using VDTAs (Voltage differencing trans-conductance amplifier) as an active element with grounded capacitors has been proposed. The approximate transfer functions of low and high pass filters of fractional order on the basis of the integer order transfer has been shown and the form of those functions of filters is also implemented using VDTA as an active building block. In this work, filters of the different sequence have been realized. The frequency domain simulation results of the proposed filters are obtained on Matlab and PSPICE with TSMC CMOS 180 nm technology parameters. Stability and sensitivity is also verified.

This thesis is a critical analysis of the constitutional and legal order of the Republic of North Macedonia, following the chronological process dating from the gaining of the county's independence, through the armed conflict in 2001 that brought constitutional changes, to today. The first decade after the breakup of Yugoslavia was crucial for the North Macedonian state and its citizens. The writing/creation of the constitution of the new, independent state was not an easy process and it did not pass peacefully nor did it pass without any problems. The complex social process and relations have initiated the need for amendments to the Constitution, which, since its adoption in 1991 until today, has been changed 32 times in order to adapt to new, emerging situations and to give constitutional and legal responses to the inherent challenges. Of course, proper changes also occurred in the political system itself as a result of numerous factors, which have more or less influenced its character and shape.

This paper discusses gardening as a practice that may be useful in reconsidering how landscape boundaries can be experienced. The assumption is that one should think of landscapes as “entities” which are material, but at the same time may be said to exist only insofar as they are experienced by humans. As such, they are always bounded. In order to show how gardening may be helpful in shaping the boundaries of landscapes two approaches to gardening are discussed: one treats gardening as a model of creating order and eliminating all that which is seen as alien to it (Zygmunt Bauman), the other – claims that gardening requires respecting nature (Gilles Clément).

Oznacza on przede wszystkim uporządkowanie i harmonię pomiędzy różnymi składnikami i funkcjami przestrzeni. Łatwe do obserwacji zjawisko to jest bardzo trudne do zbadania. Celem artykułu jest wypracowanie metody pomiaru ładu przestrzennego w skali morfologicznej i fizjonomicznej oraz jej przetestowanie na przykładzie Piotrkowska Trybunalskiego. Wypracowana metoda nie tylko pozwala na badanie ładu w różnych skalach, ale pozwala porównywać wyniki dla różnych badanych przestrzeni. Jest to gotowe do stosowania narzędzie, które nie wymaga skomplikowanych procedur czy trudnych do pozyskania danych.
At all levels of spatial planning, development leads to achieve spatial order. First of all, it means ordering and harmony between various components and functions of space. An easily observable phenomenon is very difficult to study. The purpose of this article is to develop a method for measuring spatial order on a morphological and physiognomic scale. Other aim is test this method on the example of Piotrków Trybunalski. Except for examine spatial order in various scales, the prepared method allows to compare results for different examined spaces. It is a tool that does not require complicated procedures or difficult to obtain data.

In this paper, a wireless three-hop relay communication system operating in a Rayleigh multipath fading environment is analyzed. The output signal from such a system is a product of signal envelopes from all sections, meaning that it is actually a product of three random variables (RVs) with Rayleigh distribution. We considered here the first-order characteristics: probability density function (PDF), cumulative distribution function and outage probability (OP). Then, the moments and amount of fading (AoF) were derived in the closed forms. The second order characteristics we present include the following: level crossing rate (LCR) and average fade duration (AFD). A few graphs are given to show the impact of the specific parameters of the wireless three-hop relay system.

The noises associated with MEMS measurements can significantly impact their accuracy. The noises characterised by random walk and bias instability errors strictly depend on temperature effects that are difficult to specify during direct measurements. Therefore, the paper aims to estimate the fractional noise dynamics of the stationary MEMS gyroscope based on finite length triple estimation algorithm (FLTEA). The paper deals with the state, order and parameter estimation of fractional order noises originating from the MEMS gyroscope, being part of the popular Inertial Measurement Unit denoted as SparkFun MPU9250. The noise measurements from , and gyroscope axes are identified using a modified triple estimation algorithm (TEA) with finite approximation length. The TEA allows a simultaneous estimation of the state, order and parameter of fractional order systems. Moreover, as it is well-known that the number of samples in fractional difference approximations plays a key role, we try to show the influence of applying the TEA with various approximation length constraints on final estimation results. The validation of finite length TEA in the noise estimation process coming from MEMS gyroscope has been conducted for implementation length reduction achieving 50% of samples needed to estimate the noise with no implementation losses. Additionally, the capabilities of modified TEA in the analysis of fractional constant and variable order systems are confirmed in several numerical examples.

In the paper the fractional order, state space model of a temperature field in a two-dimensional metallic surface is addressed. The proposed model is the two dimensional generalization of the one dimensional, fractional order, state space of model of the heat transfer process. It uses fractional derivatives along time and length. The proposed model assures better accuracy with lower order than models using integer order derivatives. Elementary properties of the proposed model are analysed. Theoretical results are experimentally verifed using data from industrial thermal camera.

Plato tries to explain the becoming of the cosmos by referring to the concepts of order and disorder. Scholars have usually focused on the relationship between the cosmos and the demiurge that Plato puts forward to explain the reasonable (i.e., well-ordered) development. Along these lines, scholarship has examined the providential role played by both the demiurge and the soul of the world. Yet, an interesting problem still remains open: what exactly is the function of disorder? What is the sense of the concept of a perfectly established order if we do not know the manner in which it is achieved, since we have no understanding of the conditions that make it possible? Pursuing this line of thought, one may point to a providential role of the disorder given the balance of forces that operates in Plato’s cosmic becoming.

Research objective: The aim of the article is to analyse selected sociological theories of legitimation. The research objective is to provide an answer to the question about the meanings and functions of legitimation in the process of the discursive construction of social order. The research problems and methods: Legitimation is analysed in the text both as a concept describing a specific state of social reality (static approach) and as a discursive strategy in which language plays a dominant role (dynamic approach). The main research method used in the text is a content analysis of selected sociological concepts of legitimation. The process of argumentation: The first part presents the meaning of legitimation in a static approach, which depends on the theoretical paradigm used. The second part presents an analysis of the interactionist-phenomenological concept of legitimation, which reveals its basic function as an element within the construction of social order. In the third part, legitimation is analyzed in a dynamic approach, as a discursive strategy that can significantly complement the diverse conglomerate of discourse theory. The conclusion emphasizes the role of legitimation in a situation of uncertainty and social crises. Research results: The study of the process of legitimation as an element responsible for the stability of the constructed social order is important especially in situations of community crisis, The most appropriate area for testing legitimation is discourse, and the research material would include articulations, meanings and language. Conclusions, innovations, and recommendations: Deepening the meaning of legitimation in sociological theories can contribute to their easier and fuller use in the study of specific research materials. This can contribute not only to a better understanding of sociological theories, but also deepen knowledge about the mechanisms that govern society.

The present study concerns the analysis of using the integro-differential fractional operators in the process of modelling of electrical systems. As the object of study, the RC circuit with the ultracapacitor was used. A mathematical model of the super capacitor has been introduced, based on the integro-differential fractional order operator. Throughout the modelling it was assumed that the ultracapacitor was ideal. The main goal of the work was to carry out the experimental tests. Static and dynamic characteristics of the RC circuit with the ultracapacitor were determined with a prepared laboratory test rig. The obtained experimental results were compared with simulation tests of the ultracapacitor dynamics. The analysis, modelling and the obtained results allowed for the assessment of applicability of the fractional order operators in modelling of electrical systems. The proposed fractional order model yielded more precise description of dynamic properties of the system.

The author discusses the medieval practice in the State of the Teutonic Order of placing sacral objects, especially parish and monastic churches, cathedrals and hospital chapels, under patronage of selected saints. Though there was nothing exceptional about it in the Christian Europe, the choice of saints, dependent on their particular traits and popularity, is interesting. Among the most popular ones were, of course, the Holy Virgin Mary, venerated especially by the Cistersians and Dominicans, St George, St John the Evangelist and St Nicholas – the latter being the patron of merchants and sailors. It may be safely said that local cults correlated to a large degree with the presence or absence of particular religious orders in the area, with their preferences as to the patronage of certain saints over others. One of the most widely known saints in Europe was undoubtedly St James, especially along the popular pilgrimage route from Prussia to Santiago de Compostella. St Adalbert of Prague also deserves special mention, especially for his mission and martyrdom in Prussia.

Sustainable development involves integration of political, economic and social activities maintaining natural balance and durability of basic natural processes in order to ensure the possibility to fulfil the essential needs of individual communities or citizens, for both present and future generations. An attempt was made in the paper to evaluate the provinces in view of sustaining their development. A set of 71 indicators was used to describe the individual areas of sustainable development, i.e. economic, environmental and institutional-political order in a synthetic way. Linear ordering of provinces was conducted using their taxonomic distance from the model object.

Acoustic signal is more and more frequently used to diagnose machines operated in industrial conditions where installation of sensors is hindered. Impact of background noise seems to be the major problem as part of analysis of such signal. In most cases of industrial environments, background level is high; thus, it prevents against concluding as per standard methods that have been used in diagnostic testing. This study specifies the problem related to diagnosing machines operated under variable loads. Synchronous methods are used for diagnosing these types of machines, those include synchronisation of diagnostic signal with revolutions of the diagnosed machine. For the purpose of this study an acoustic signal was used as the diagnostic signal. Application of the synchronous method (order analysis) enables eliminating an impact of background noise derived from other sources. This study specifies application of acoustic signal to diagnose planetary gear in laboratory testing rig in order to discover damages at early stage of degradation. This method was compared with the method basing on measurement of vibrations.

The article deals with the social nature of law and order. It is emphasized that a full and comprehensive study of this phenomenon is impossible outside of social relations. It is noted that any legal system inevitably faces a complex problem: it should meet, on the one hand, the requirements of stability, and on the other - the inevitability of changes. Law exists in the flow of social life; it is a tool guiding social development and change society. As a guide to behavior, it is formed on the basis of sociologically established and verified constant and variable factors of social reality. Law is constantly increasing the sphere of social influence; therefore, there are more requirements to legal regulation. However, law performs its function as a regulator of social relations, when it is performed in reality. The life of norms of law is not only and not so much in their presence, existence, as in the functioning, implementation. The purpose, effectiveness and efficiency of law lie in the movement of law from possibility to reality, in the implementation of legal requirements in the actual actions and deeds of people. In this regard, it is important not only to assert the unity of law and society, but also, respectively, the call for constant correction of written law in accordance with changes in the social structure.

The results of social-and-economic order analysis in the context of formation and representing organizational interaction between managing subjects of production management are considered in the article. It was proved that social-and-economic order, as a type of social order, is acting as the determinative prerequisite of formation efficient organizational interaction in any system of present-day management. It was well-grounded that social-and-economic order of organizational interactions is caused by economic requirements and economic interests of production subjects has a relevant legal content, and its determinative element stands for ordering ownership relations, i.e., order between people as far as owning and managing means of production are concerned. The author’s models of representing organizational interaction in the systems of production management depending on forms and methods of division relations of ownership for means of production are presented in the article.

Improper planning of inventory will affect the factory operating costs, building costs, the cost of loss, and the cost of product defects due to being stored for too long which will eventually become a loss. This research discusses the processing industry which is experiencing lumpy demand. In carrying out the production process, the company has never made plans for future demand, resulting in a waste of message costs due to repeated orders of raw materials ordered to suppliers. This paper contributes to overcoming this issue by simulating future demand by using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with a probabilistic Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) model. The demand in the coming period is determined using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method, and an aggregate plan is carried out to determine the regular cost of raw material production and optimal subcontracting. The final analysis states that the calculation of MRP on the selected items using POQ produces the lowest cost for planning S45C-F, SGT-R, and SKD11-R, while SLD-R uses the probabilistic EOQ method.

This paper is devoted to a sufficient second-order condition for a weak local minimum in a simple optimal control problem with one control constraint G(u) ≤ 0, given by a C2-function. A similar second-order condition was obtained earlier by the author for a strong minimum in a much more general problem. In the present paper, we would like to take a narrower perspective than before and thus provide shorter and simpler proofs. In addition, the paper uses the first and second order tangents to the set U, defined by the inequality G(u) ≤ 0. The main difficulty of the proof, clearly shown in the paper, refers to the set, where the gradient Hu of the Hamiltonian is small, but the condition of quadratic growth of the Hamiltonian is satisfied. The paper can be valuable for self-explanation and provides a basis for extensions.

Wprowadzenie. Janusz Korczak, który inspirował autora idei Orderu Uśmiechu, pisał: „nie ma dzieci – są ludzie, ale o innej skali pojęć, innym zasobie doświadczenia, innych popędach, innej grze uczuć. Pamiętaj, że my ich nie znamy”. Zapobieganie i przeciwdziałanie łamaniu praw dziecka stanowi jedno z wyzwań stojących przed współczesnymi pedagogami. Zjawisko to nadal ma miejsce, a nawet nasila się i wciąż ukazują się nowe jego aspekty. Wskazują na to wyniki badań, m.in. Brunona Hołysta (1991, 2000, 2011), Bronisława Urbana (2000), Janusza Surzykiewicza (2000, 2004), Grażyny Miłkowskiej-Olejniczak (1999), Marka Michalaka (2020), potwierdzające konieczność edukacji społeczeństwa w tym temacie, aby zwiększyć świadomość i wiedzę o prawach dziecka. Cel. Tekst ma na celu promocję tematu praw dziecka. Zagadnienie to mieści się w zakresie problematyki społecznej. Artykuł ukazuje też potrzebę dialogu na temat idei Orderu Uśmiechu, osadzonej w ramach teoretycznej pedagogiki J. Korczaka. Materiały i metody. W artykule dokonano przeglądu literatury uwzględniającej istotność pedagogiczną zagadnienia praw dziecka. W ramach pracy nad tekstem wykorzystano metodę analityczno-syntetyczną, która pozwoliła przedstawić kontekst funkcjonowania Orderu Uśmiechu w przestrzeni społecznej. Wyniki. Ważna współcześnie problematyka, biorąca pod uwagę szereg aspektów pedagogiczno-edukacyjnych i społecznych, może stanowić inspirację dla badaczy, zwłaszcza na gruncie pedagogiki społecznej, psychologii, socjologii, jak również innych dziedzin i dyscyplin naukowych. Wyniki. Ważna współcześnie problematyka, biorąca pod uwagę szereg aspektów pedagogiczno-edukacyjnych i społecznych, może stanowić inspirację dla badaczy, zwłaszcza na gruncie pedagogiki społecznej, psychologii, socjologii, jak również innych dziedzin i dyscyplin naukowych.
Introduction. As the inspiring author of the Order of the Smile, Janusz Korczak, wrote, “there are no children – there are people, but with a different scale of concepts, a different amount of experience, different drives, and a different game of feeling. Remember we don’t know them”. Preventing and counteracting the violation of children’s rights is one of the challenges faced by modern educators. This phenomenon does not lose its relevance. On the contrary – it intensifies, constantly revealing new aspects of it. This is indicated by the results of research, including works by Bruno Hołyst (1991, 2000, 2011), Bronisław Urban (2000), Janusz Surzykiewicz (2000, 2004), Grażyna Miłkowska-Olejniczak (1999), and Marek Michalak (2020), confirming the need to educate the society in the field of children’s rights awareness. Objective. The text aims to promote the topic of social issues and demonstrate the need for dialogue on the idea of the “Order of the Smile”, embedded in the theoretical pedagogy of Janusz Korczak. Materials and methods. The article reviews the subject literature which takes into account the pedagogical importance of the issue of children’s rights. As part of the work on the text, the analytical-synthetic method was used, which allowed presentation of the context of the functioning of the “Order of the Smile” in the social space. Results. Important contemporary issues, taking into account a number of pedagogical, educational, and social aspects, may be an inspiration for researchers, especially in the field of social pedagogy, psychology, sociology, as well as other fields and scientific disciplines.

Traditional education in the United States has been largely influenced by the Industrial Revolution. Educational technology helped prepare students for the industry. The modern information technology revolution has created a need for a different type of education, one that helps the student acquire the skills to process and use information to solve problems. One approach to education that does this is constructivism, an approach to education that helps students learn the structure of knowledge. Exemplary use of educational technology can be used to accomplish this goal. Exemplary lessons stimulate higher-order thinking to solve problems. Examples are provided that demonstrate this.

The cited judgment of the Supreme Administrative Court focuses on the meaning of the expression “access from the same public road”. The judgment of the Court of Second Instance deserves to be approved because the recitals of this judgment take into account the right to develop the plot to which the investor holds the legal title, the broad understanding of ‘neighborhood’, as well as the values that constitute the ratio legis of the Act on spatial planning and development.The rationale of the Supreme Administrative Court’s decision results primarily from the fact that a narrow understanding of neighbourhood which is prompted by the linguistic interpretation was not deemed sufficient. Referring to the jurisprudence, and above all the legislative activity of the Supreme Administrative Court and the doctrine of administrative law, it should have been concluded that the effects of the linguistic interpretation were legitimately checked from the point of view of the legislator’s goal when enacting the Act on Spatial Planning and Development. Therefore, it was necessary to make a purposive interpretation that justifies the need to take into account the right to develop a building plot, take into consideration values such as spatial order, sustainable development, ownership and public interest, as well as the interest of third parties.The position of the judgment under review is not uniform in the jurisprudence. However, it does take into account the need to weigh up the disputed interests. Although the right of ownership is significantly limited in the planning and legal regulations, it is unacceptable to deprive it of its use only due to the assumption that neighbourhood should be understood as the contact of two plots or their access to the same public road.
