    Opis:
    Automatic communication can help reduce errors in communication between navigators, and, consequently, increase the level of navigation safety. This article reviews some methods for the development of an ontology and looks into processes for communication at sea. Three basic elements of ontology can be distinguished: navigational information, communication and interface. The possibility of applying these methods for the construction of ontology was analyzed for a system of automatic communication at sea.

    Opis:
    Ontology of communication. A projectThis article is an attempt to construction of project ontology of communicaton in the context of new communication technologies. The author prefers the evolutionary approach to describe the phenomenon of communication. Ontology communication draws attention to the role of the apparatus of human perception and the impact of media technologies to strengthen its operation. Analyzes contained in the article refer to the concept of an evolutionary model of Karl R. Popper’s epistemological and the concept of the so-called soft determinism, that is, the model construction of the “alternative media” Paul Levinson. In the context of these concepts author presents his own attempt to ontology of communication.

    Opis:
    This article explores the use of ontology for semi-automatic marine vessel navigation and ship-to-ship communication to mitigate collision risk. Semi-automatic vessel communication is a step towards automatic communication for autonomous ships. Examples of how such communication can be used is discussed, based on a comprehensive analysis of selected marine collisions, with particular attention to the communication conducted on ships. The effectiveness of such communication was assessed and compared. The suggested solutions are based on the review of official reports from accident investigations. The novelties of this work include original ontologies and interfaces. Through this work, it could be possible to fully automate communication processes between ships. In future work, the research results in this work will be used to create a system of automatic communications for manned and autonomous vessels.

    Opis:
    The lack of proper communication between navigators is one of the many causes of dangerous situations in maritime transport. Automation of communication processes, in particular negotiation processes, can help either avoid such situations or, when they do occur, deal with them more promptly and effectively. We have characterized inference processes in maritime communication and the communication subontology used to describe these processes. The negotiating processes involving two or more parties are considered. An example is given of an encounter by three ships that requires communication (including negotiations) between the three navigators. We also present how the described communication processes can be automated using the developed subontology of communication.

    Opis:
    When reviewing contemporary concepts of law, it is easy to notice that many of them emphasise the role of communication and dialogue in law. This paper is an attempt to link the philosophical aspect with legal practice, picturing both the basic ontological concepts based on the communicative aspect and the mediation as a form of dialogue in law application process. The aim is to draw attention to the correspondence between the mediation and deliberative democracy in the multi-centric legal reality. The conclusion indicates that the professionalisation of the profession of mediator shall help in such a process.
    Dokonując przeglądu współczesnych koncepcji prawa łatwo zauważyć, że wiele z nich podkreśla rolę komunikacji i dialogu w prawie. Artykuł jest próbą połączenia aspektu filozoficznego z praktyką prawniczą, ukazując zarówno podstawowe koncepcje ontologiczne oparte na komunikacyjnym aspekcie prawa, jak i mediację jako formę dialogu w procesie stosowania prawa. Celem jest zwrócenie uwagi na korespondencję pomiędzy mediacją a demokracją deliberatywną w multicentrycznej rzeczywistości prawnej. W konkluzji wskazano, że pomocna w tym procesie będzie profesjonalizacja zawodu mediatora.

    This paper is interdisciplinary in its approach. Its objective is to present traditional and theological aspects of folk medicine, so closely related to the faith and devotion of the rural communities. The authors present a variety of folk therapeutic practices, diagnosis and etiology of diseased. They also analyse the intrinsic logic of the speech and gestures used in the healing actions. The authors try to identify the Christian and the pagan (including magical) elements used in the healing rites and show the importance of folk medicine for theology as an academic discipline but also for the pastoral practice of the Church.
