    Opis:
    The aim of this article is to describe style characteristics of the protocol and make an attempt to determine their hierarchy. The analysis refers to methodological postulates of Maria Wojtak concerning the study on genre style and style of non-literary texts. A set of five manuscripts of Polish societies from the second half of 19th century serves as a materiał for the article. The analysis enables to distinguish features that are determined by the structure and the pragmatics, as well as those connected with the origin of used words and expressions. Among those can be distinguished two primary style characteristics: implementation of templates and concision and five secondary: formality, use of formulas, precision, impersonality and use of directives. Repertoire of features’ exponents is connected with functioning of the protocol genre model (canonical and alternative) and the method of recording (synthetic, narrative). Apart from typical phenomena related to the communication sphere (in which the protocol is situated), common features of non-literary texts (e.g. persuasiveness, suggestiveness) are noticeable. These features are clearly conditioned by circumstances in which particular societies functioned.

    The article analyzes the stylistic features of speech during the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945): Reports of the Soviet Information (the SIS), directives governing the country and the army, appeared in the press only in the 1990s. The analysis showed a convergence of seemingly polar genres, stylistically marked in the application of means – the communication was carried out by means of the verbal culture of the day. Signs of between-style interference were found in the texts of administrative genres: at the lexical level – emotive words and expressions, at the level of grammar – structures of expressive syntax. But it is important that all the expressive means do not destroy thebasic quality of business texts – the imperative, but rather strengthen it. All this is due to the need to implement the intentions of the impact on the senses, the morale of the Soviet people, to inspire the struggle and inform about prescribed actions.

    Notre contribution consiste à analyser les pratiques discursives des trois textes constitutionnels algériens (1996, 2002 et 2016) dédiés à la à la constitutionnalisation de la langue amazighe. Il s’agit de montrer et de dégager, à travers une analyse textuelle et pragmatique de ces textes, le statut et la définition qui lui a été réservée en tant que langue qui se présente sous forme de plusieurs variétés dispersées sur le territoire national.   Pour mener à bien notre analyse, nous ferons appel principalement au domaine de la jurilinguistique.  Par ailleurs, la langue amazighe est définie dans la constitution prise comme un ensemble de variétés attestées dans le territoire national.
    Przedmiotem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza praktyk dyskursywnych w trzech algierskich tekstach konstytucyjnych (1996, 2002 oraz 2016) w zakresie konstytucjonalizacji języka tamazight. Analiza tekstowa i pragmatyczna tych tekstów ma na celu przybliżenie statusu oraz definicji tego języka jako języka wernakularnego, używanego pod postacią różnych narzeczy występujących na terytorium narodowym. Główny punkt odniesienia dla analizy stanowią prace z dziedziny juryslingwistyki. Także w konstytucji język tamazight jest definiowany jako narzeczy, których istnienie zostało odnotowane na terytorium narodowym.
    Our contribution consists in analyzing the discursive practices of the three Algerian constitutional texts (1996, 2002, and 2016) dedicated to the constititionalisation of the Amazigh language. It is about showing and putting in evidence, through a textual and pragmatic analysis of these texts, the status and the definition that has been scattered over the national territory. To carry out our analysis, we will mainly appeal to the field of jurilinguistics. Moreover, the Amazigh language is defined in the constitution as a set of certified varieties throughout the national territory.

    This paper discusses the orthographic standard of the modern Polish language as regards capitalisation. On selected examples, we point to the fact that the general nature of orthographic rules governing capitalisation makes them ignore numerous phenomena characteristic of the economic and legal sphere. The absence of an up-to-date and diverse sample material illustrating the individual rules, in turn, hampers making prescriptive decisions with regard to the spelling of specific expressions from the domain of the latest official Polish language. As a consequence, the mismatch between codification and usage increases, which is exemplifi ed in the analytical part of the paper. The conducted research leads to the conclusion that such standardisation of the spelling of specialist varieties of Polish as satisfi es the needs of its users is an urgent matter.

    Opis:
    Universities operate in a legal environment constituted by the external legal regulations, which – due to their universality – are not sufficient as they do not take into account the specific nature of schools. In order to make their activity coherent and well organised, universities create their own rules. The material used by the author to analyze the language of the university internal law acts are the statutes and regulations posted on the websites of the universities supervised by the minister responsible for higher education in Poland. Due to special nature of the analyzed material, its vocabulary is not very varied. A lot of space is occupied by elements typical for legal texts, such as function names or abbreviations used in the description of a legal act. The study included phenomena related to both word-formation and inflection, as well as orthography, i.e. the grammatical type and number of nouns, the tense of verbs, and the notation of certain forms characteristic of the university texts.

    Przeobrażenia kulturowe i cywilizacyjne współczesnej wsi powodują konieczność interdyscyplinarnych badań umożliwiających uchwycenie i opis tych zmian. Badaniom poddawano dotąd niemal wyłącznie język mówiony jako podstawowy i zwykle jedyny kod komunikacji mieszkańców wsi, którzy teksty pisane tworzą rzadko, głównie w kontaktach z urzędem. Teksty takie dają więc rzadką okazję wglądu w ich kompetencje komunikacyjne, tekstotwórcze, stylistyczne, w stosowane przez nich strategie perswazyjne. Pokazują też, na ile gwara odzwierciedla się w ich tekstach pisanych. Potencjał takich tekstów potwierdziły badania podań do małopolskich ośrodków pomocy społecznej. Poddanie analizie materiału z innych obszarów Polski pozwoliłoby wysnuć ogólniejsze wnioski na temat stylu urzędowego mieszkańców wsi.
    The recent civilization and culture-related transformations in rural areas have created a need for interdisciplinary research that will capture the essence of these changes and will characterize them. To date, research has focused on the spoken language as the primary form of communication of villagers; they make use of written texts mainly to communicate with public administration institutions. Therefore, these texts pose a unique opportunity to gain insight into the linguistic competence of villagers related to communication, text-forming, and style, as well as their persuasion strategies. These documents also show the extent to which a local dialect is reflected in written texts. The value of these records has been confirmed by a study of documents submitted to social assistance centres in Lesser Poland. An analysis of the language material from other areas would allow to draw more general conclusions concerning the official language of villagers.
