Opis:: Korzystając z 2-wymiarowego modelu network model zaprojektowano strukturę filtra składającego się z 3 warstw o różnych porowatościach. Umożliwia on efektywne usuwanie cząstek o danym rozmiarze z odpowiednio wysoką sprawnością oraz powoduje możliwie niskie opory przepływu płynu. Poszczególne warstwy złączono w trzech różnych konfiguracjach. Zbadano również przypadek włókniny jednorodnej (monowarstwy) o uśrednionych parametrach. Obliczono efektywność depozycji dla cząstek o rozmiarach 1:10 um. Wyniki dowodzą, że korzystne jest tworzenie filtrów o strukturze wielowarstwowej, a szczególnie istotna jest kolejność ułożenia warstw o różnych parametrach.
A 2D network model was used to design the optimal structure of fibrous filter. It enables the efficient capture of particles, creates the lowest pressure drop and guarantees a long time usage. The individual layers were joined at three different configurations. A case of non-woven uniform monolayer with average performance was also examined. The deposition efficiency for particles diameter between 1-M0 pm was calculated. Results clearly indicate that combining layers with different porosities and especially their layering sequence has a major effect on deposition ratios inside the filter structure.

Opis:: There are various methods for the searching of the optimal transportation network structure for specified transportation needs. Apart from the principle, each method requires the construction of the network model with some simplifying assumptions and approximations, what leads to discrepancies with reality. Even larger uncertainties are caused by using of the data predicted for the transportation needs in the future. Obtaining of any single transportation network structure is therefore not yet a solution. Its behavior additionally should be examined for the changed data to ensure that it remains optimal both now and in the future covered by the forecast.
Istnieją różne metody pozwalające na znalezienie struktury sieci transportowej optymalnej dla zadanych potrzeb transportowych. Niezależnie od zasady działania każda metoda wymaga budowy modelu sieci przy przyjęciu pewnych założeń upraszczających oraz dokonania przybliżeń, co prowadzi do rozbieżności z rzeczywistością. Jeszcze większe niepewności są skutkiem użycia danych prognozowanych dla potrzeb transportowych w przyszłości. Uzyskanie jakiejkolwiek pojedynczej struktury sieci transportowej nie jest zatem rozwiązaniem problemu. Należy dodatkowo zbadać jej zachowanie dla zmienionych danych, aby upewnić się, że pozostanie optymalną zarówno obecnie, jak i w objętej prognozą przyszłości.

Opis:: The paper aims to determine the role of social capital in a process known as the internationalization of the firm. The first part of the article focuses on the concept of corporate social capital as developed by economists Roger Leenders and Shaul Gabbay. The author discusses the features of ties between individual businesses and the structure of these ties as factors shaping the quality of social capital gathered inside a network. The author identifies social capital with a network of business ties, describing social capital as a term with a neutral connotation. Then the network model of the internationalization of the firm is invoked to build a theoretical bridge between social capital and the internationalization of the firm. Under this approach, the main factor behind the internationalization of the firm is membership in an appropriate network of ties. Finally, the author reviews research reports in terms of both gains and potential burdens linked with participation in the network from the perspective of the internationalization process. The coexistence of the positive and negative aspects of corporate social capital may suggest that social capital both stimulates and impedes the internationalization of the firm, Doryń says; however, the current state of empirical research in the analyzed area does not make it possible to put forward any normative recommendations to businesses, she adds. Overall, Doryń concludes that the issue of social capital and its influence on the internationalization of enterprises should be examined in combination with the specific goals of the firm.

Opis:: In the new era of information and communication technology, the representation of information is of increasing importance. Knowing how words are connected to each other in the mind and what processes facilitate the creation of connections could result in better optimized applications, e.g. in computer aided education or in search engines. This paper models the growth process of a word association database with an algorithm. We present the network structure of word associations for an agglutinative language and compare it with the network of English word associations. Using the real-world data so obtained, we create a model that reproduces the main features of the observed growth process and show the evolution of the network. The model describes the growth of the word association data as a mixture of a topic based process and a random process. The model makes it possible to gain insight into the overall processes which are responsible for creating an interconnected mental lexicon.

Opis:: The article is an attempt to outline the cognitively understood web of school genres used for self-presentation. The author is trying to answer the question of which genre takes the place of the prototype model centre and what relations occur between the genres within the web. The starting point for the literary genetics traversing in the linguistic-didactic perspective was the theory of self- -presentation as well as both school and extracurricular texts that pursue specified genre patterns. Opis:: Niniejszy artykuł opisuje strukturę i możliwości zastosowania języka RailML do tworzenia cyfrowych modeli sieci kolejowych. Przedstawiono również analizę i porównanie wybranych przypadków użycia, ułatwiających praktyczne wykorzystanie RailML i pozwalających na wybór aspektów sieci uwzględnianych w modelu. Modelowanie w RailML to skomplikowany złożony proces, dlatego poszukiwane są rozwiązania umożliwiające skrócenie czasu tworzenia modeli. Jednym z nich jest program RaIL-AiD – narzędzie do tworzenia i edycji planów schematycznych. W artykule opisano funkcje programu oraz możliwości praktycznego wykorzystansia, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem kompatybilności ze standardem RailML.
This article describes the structure and possibilities of using RailML to create digital models of railway networks. The article also provides an analysis and comparison of selected use cases, facilitating the practical use of RailML and allowing the selection of network aspects included in the model. Modelling in RailML is a complicated and complex process, which is why solutions are sought to reduce the time needed to create models. One of them is RaIL-AiD - a tool for creating and editing schematic plans. The article describes features of the program and possibilities of its practical use, with emphasis on compatibility with the RailML standard.

Opis:: The paper defines the concept of cognitive radio in the context of transport systems, with particular emphasis on modern ecological concept of “green cognitive radio”. In addition, in the paper a modified cognitive network model dedicated to transport system telematics is proposed and presented. Algorithms to support the functioning of the cognitive radio are discussed. Sensors necessary to use the network to support cognitive functioning of transport system telematics are defined. Opis:: The fuel cells are energy sources which can play an important role in transition of the energy sector into broader use of renewable energy. Numerical modelling provides an easy way to investigate properties of the objects modelled. There are various ways to model dynamic behaviour of the PEM fuel cells including methods using artificial neural networks. There are no clear rules of how a neural network should be configured: how many neurons in the hidden layer and which training algorithm should be used. In a time series modelling task additional parameters including sampling frequency, learning data set duration and number of past data points used for training need to be determined. The paper presents results of research on the influence of various model parameters on the PEM fuel cell modelling accuracy.

Opis:: This paper presents epistemological discussion about the issues of the management of development of enterprise innovativeness. The aim of the studies is to raise awareness of the complexity, interdisciplinarity and enhancement of innovativeness of enterprises. In this respect, the paper refers to the basics of innovation process modelling, identifying an integrating approach and networking approach, including theconcept of fractal correlations. Indicating the tendencies in the development of the space of global technologies, the paper highlights the importance of global networks of cross-organisational cooperation, global knowledge platform, free diffusion of knowledge and technology, segments of an intelligent market and pro-consumer behaviour.
Opracowanie przedstawia rozważania teoriopoznawcze nad problematyką rozwoju innowacyjności przedsiębiorstwa. Celem badań jest próba zwrócenia uwagi na złożoność, interdyscyplinarność i dynamizację innowacyjności przedsiębiorstw. Odwołano się do podstaw modelowania procesu innowacyjnego, identyfikując podejście integrujące i sieciowe, w tym koncepcję współzależności fraktalnych. Podkreślono znaczenie globalnych sieci współpracy, globalnej platformy wiedzy, dyfuzji wiedzy i technologii, segmenty rynku inteligentnego i zachowania prosumenckie.
