Southern part of the Scandinavian Ice Sheet terminated in large lobes projecting tens of kilometres beyond the main ice sheet margin. One of the main ice lobe was the Odra lobe localized in NE Germany and NW Poland. In this study concise description of current morphology of the Odra lobe area is given with special reference to subglacial hydraulic conditions during the ice sheet advance. Subglacial conditions were simulated by using time-dependant three-dimensional numerical model, and obtained results were compared to geological observations. The results show entire groundwater system alternation that affected the ice/bed coupling and influenced formation of specific subglacial landforms. Coupling the simulation results with empirical estimates of basal melting rate suggests that only a small fraction of basal meltwater could have drained to the ice forefield as groundwater. Adverse slope of the low-permeable ice bed hampered water drainage, and led to water accumulation at the ice/bed interface that in turn facilitated basal sliding and bed deformation.

Ruchy społeczne ukazują się jako zjawisko żywotne i zmienne. Są rzeczywistymi tworami i zawsze działają na rzecz zmiany. Artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, jaka jest efektywność tych działań? Ruch społeczny postrzegany jest jako najpowszechniejsza forma zbiorowej aktywności społecznej, dążącej do obranych celów. Cele wyznaczone przez ruch odnoszą się do potrzeb i interesów jakie chce osiągnąć. Taka wspólna aktywność pojawia się, gdy ludzie zdają sobie sprawę, że celów nie da się zrealizować w pojedynkę, a jedynie przez działania wspólne. Działanie oparte jest na wspólnych metodach ukierunkowanych jednakowymi wartościami i ideologią. Prowadzi to do przekształcania rzeczywistości społecznej. W artykule omówiona zostanie również istota dynamiki ruchów społecznych. Każdy ruch społeczny przechodzi pewne etapy swojej żywotności. Początkiem ruchu jest jego tworzenie, następnie rozwijanie się, realizacja zamierzonych celów, aby na końcu doszło do zanikania ruchu.
The main purpose of this article is to identify the most important factors contributing to the emergence and operation of social movements. Social movements appear as a vital and variable phenomenon. They are real creations and always work towards a change. The article is an attempt to answer the question about the effectiveness of these activities. The social movement is perceived as the most common form of collective social activity pursuing the assumed aims. The goals set by such a movement relate to the needs and interests wanted to be achieved. Such joint activity occurs when people realize that goals cannot be achieved alone, but only through joint actions. The action is based on common methods focused on equal values and ideology. This leads to the transformation of social reality. The essence of the dynamics of social movements will be also discussed in the article. Each social movement undergoes certain stages of its vitality. The beginning of a movement is its creation, then development, realization of intended goals, so that the movement disappears at the end.

Opis:
The biographical experiences of Lódz 'Solidarity' activists make the core of the article. The analysis of narrative interviews with the social movement participants allowed for the establishment of characteristic sequence of events and ways of experiencing their engagement in 'Solidarity'. The interviews also delivered the framework for comparison of their life histories and creating a typology of experiences characteristic for the activists originating in both the working class - and intelligentsia - centered part of the movement. Presentation of the consecutive stages in the narrators' biographies as a structured process revealed correlations between the social movement dynamics and ways of experiencing own biographies by the activists.
Przedmiotem artykułu są doświadczenia biograficzne działaczy łódzkiej „Solidarności”. Analiza wywiadów narracyjnych z uczestnikami ruchu społecznego pozwoliła ustalić charakterystyczne sekwencje doświadczeń i sposoby przeżywania własnej biografii związane z zaangażowaniem w „Solidarność”. Umożliwiło to porównanie poszczególnych historii życia i wyłonienie typów doświadczenia charakterystycznych zarówno dla działaczy nurtu robotniczego, jak i inteligenckiej części ruchu. Ujęcie poszczególnych etapów biografii narratorów w kategoriach struktur procesowych ukazało związki między dynamiką ruchu społecznego, a sposobem przeżywania własnej biografii przez jego uczestników.

In this paper we have analyzed the influence of the Weichselian ice sheet advance on the groundwater system in the Odra lobe area using hydrogeological numerical modelling performed with the finite difference method. The results indicate entire re-organization of the groundwater system in relation to non-glacial times mainly affecting the flow directions, velocities and fluxes. The re-organization of groundwater flow was caused by the pressure gradient imposed by the sloping ice sheet surface especially obvious under the ice margin and some distance in front of it. Simulated groundwater flow velocities are significantly higher than the present velocities in that area while the major groundwater flow direction is to the south, i.e. opposite to the present direction. Coupling the simulation results with assumed basal melting rate suggests that only a small fraction of basal meltwater [~24%) could have drained through the bed. The surplus water likely accumulated at the ice/bed interface facilitating faster ice flow of the Odra lobe due to enhanced basal sliding and bed deformation.

W artykule przedstawiony jest model ruchu wyrzutni okrętowej niezbędny do sformułowania jej dynamiki. W celu opisania ruchu podstawowego, zaburzeń ruchu podstawowego oraz ruchu sterowanego wyrzutni zastosowane są transformacje układów współrzędnych. Izometryczne transformacje sekwencyjne uzyskiwane są przez wprowadzenie kątów Bryanta.
The paper presents a shipboard launcher motion model necessary to formulate the dynamics of the launcher. Coordinate systems transformations are applied in order to describe the primary motion, primary motion disorders and the controlled motion of the launcher. Isometric sequence transformations are obtained by introducing Bryant angles.

Opis:
The purpose of this article was to examine dynamics of tourist movements of Greek destinations of Itaka travel agency in years 2005 - 2015 as one of factors affecting the creation and management of the offer of its tour operator. A statistical analysis showed the permanent upturn of the number of tourists of this office travelling to Greece in the discussed period and meaning resemblance of structures of some destinations. On the base on statistical observation it is possible to deduce, that upturn will be stable in next few years. The forecast of the number of tourists for years 2016 and 2017 was being made as the confirmation.
Celem niniejszego artykułu było zbadanie dynamiki ruchu turystycznego greckich destynacji biura podróży Itaka w latach 2005 - 2015 jako jednego z czynników wpływających na tworzenie i zarządzanie ofertą touroperatora. Analiza statystyczna wykazała trwałe ożywienie liczby turystów tego biura podróżujących do Grecji w omawianym okresie i oznacza podobieństwo struktur niektórych destynacji. Na podstawie obserwacji statystycznej, wywnioskować można, że ożywienie to będzie stabilne w ciągu najbliższych kilku lat. Jako potwierdzenie wykonana została prognoza liczby turystów w latach 2016 i 2017.

Opis:
Issue related to ensuring safety of technical operation of flat cars for high speed containerized transportation by way of using new types of running gear is considered in the paper. Because of principal drawbacks of widely used bogies of freight cars possible use of axle box suspension bogies is considered for the equipment of high speed flat cars. Taking into consideration highly efficient application of mathematic simulation for the determination of dynamic performance of railway cars appropriate computer models were developed for the estimation of the conditions related to ensuring safe motion of flat cars. It was revealed as result of the simulation that in case of stability of wheelsets against derailment condition of safe operation of a flat car equipped with axle box suspension bogies is satisfied at travel speeds up to and including 150 km/h whereas safe travel of a flat car equipped with conventional bogies is ensured at travel speeds up to but 100 km/h. This conclusion gives bases to recommend equipment of flat cars for high speed containerized transportation with axle box suspension running gear.

Transition curves are an integral part of a route. They connect a straight section with a circular curve or two circular curves with different radii. Due to the forced path, the size and stiffness of the rail vehicle, their correct design is particularly important when constructing rail roads. Basing on the limits of lateral acceleration increment, non-equilibrium centripetal acceleration and wheel lift velocity, set in accordance with the model of motion of a material point moving along a trajectory determined by the track axis, the initial parameters of the considered transition curves were selected: radius of the curve, design speed of the train, length of the transition curve and track cant. The scope of research covered basic dynamic parameters: curvature and its increment, speed and acceleration of wheel lift, track twist and lateral acceleration increment. As a result of conducted analysis it can be stated that polynomial curves deserve special attention in the design of railway routes. By appropriate modification of their equation, it is possible to change easily positions of extremes of particular dynamic parameters and thus to adjust their values to terrain conditions, direction of movement and type of rail vehicle.

The article aims to trace the dynamics of contention in austerity-driven Slovenia, explain why it ended, through the processes of demobilization, despite the protest movement’s initial successes, and verify the explanatory power of Charles Tilly and Sidney Tarrow’s theoretical framework of demobilization. The analysis applies the method of source analysis, conceptual qualitative content analysis, and the conceptual framework of contentious politics. In doing so, it addresses the research problems of the dynamics of contention in Slovenia and why the contention resulted in demobilization. The article argues that after mass mobilization an upward scale shift appeared. The shift moved the contention beyond its local origins in Maribor, touched on the interests and values of new subjects, and involved a shift of venue to sites where the demands might have been met by state institutions. The dynamics of contention was a cycle of active and passive contentious episodes. The movement identity shift and successful recognition of its claims influenced the performances and episode sequence. The processes of demobilization started when people stopped attending protests, organizing particular performances, and implementing innovations to modular performances instead. Demobilization occurred when most of the protesters became discouraged from protest through boredom and a desire to return to everyday routines.

Celem artykułu jest pokazanie genezy oraz przemian aktywizmu klimatycznego w T urcji od poziomu globalnego po lokalny. Ruch klimatyczny zakorzeniony jest mocno w przestrzeni miejskiej, ale zwłaszcza na początku mobilizacja społeczna nakierowana była przede wszystkim na próby oddziaływania na międzynarodową politykę klimatyczną. W kontekście rozczarowania brakiem konkretnych rozwiązań na najwyższym szczeblu tureckie organizacje pozarządowe i grupy nieformalne zaangażowane w temat klimatu zwracają coraz większą uwagę na poziom lokalny, w tym na miasta i polityki miejskie. Ważnymi czynnikami, które wpływają na zmiany strategii, są z jednej strony brak responsywności państwa wobec postulatów aktywistów, a z drugiej globalne i europejskie trendy zwiększania roli miast w szukaniu konkretnych rozwiązań mogących powstrzymać kryzys klimatyczny.
The aim of the paper is to present the genesis and transformation of the Turkish climate activism from the global to local level. The movement’s origins are rooted in the urban space, but, especially in the movement’s early period, the social mobilization was directed most of all at the efforts to influence the international climate politics. In the context of disappointment with the lack of specific solutions at the highest level, Turkish climate-related NGOs and informal groups are paying increasing attention to the local level, including cities and urban policies. The key factors behind that strategic change include the lack of responsiveness from the state to the movement’s postulates and also the global and European trends of increasing the role of cities in search for specific solutions to halt the climate crisis.

Natural plants, such as cotton and linen, are rich in cellulose Iβ. The properties of cellulose Iβ under different temperatures was studied using molecular dynamics simulations. Firstly, the crystal of cellulose Iβ was built. To verify the model, the X-ray fibre diffraction and thermal expansion coefficients were calculated, which were found to agree with experimental results. Then the Mulliken population of the bonds were computed and the movement of the centre chain and hydrogen bonds studied over the range 300-550 K using a PCFF force field. The results of the Mulliken population reveal the three steps of pyrolysis. The higher the temperature is, the more intensely the movement of the centre chain is. However, the impact of temperature on the movement of the centre chain is not obvious. From 300 K to 550 K, the total number of hydrogen bonds decreased by only 20%. Moreocer, the rupture of intrachain hydrogen bonds and the formation of interchain hydrogen bonds at 400 K~450 K temperature occurred.

W pracy przedstawiono sposób modelowania oraz wyniki komputerowej symulacji ruchu agrorobota, dla trzech różnych trajektorii ruchu. Badania symulacyjne, dla trzech wybranych torów ruchu chwytaka, przeprowadzono w programie Matlab (Simulink). Wyznaczono maksymalne wartości składowych momentów napędowych poszczególnych ogniw łańcucha kinematycznego i przedstawiono w postaci wykresów.
The paper presents the modelling method and the results of agrorobot movement simulation by computer, for three different motion trajectories. Simulation tests for three selected paths of gripping device movement were performed using the Matlab (Simulink) application. The researchers determined maximum values of driving torque components for individual kinematic chain elements and presented them in form of diagrams.

Jednym z kluczowych zagadnień badań nad niezawodnością urządzeń jest ich dynamiczne zachowanie w trakcie eksploatacji. Ważnym czynnikiem wpływającym na niezawodność systemów transportowych eksploatujących pojazdy szynowe jest odpowiedni stan utrzymania infrastruktury torowej. Jej niewłaściwy stan techniczny może spowodować przerwy w ruchu, które w przypadku takiego pojazdu jak tramwaj mogą zakłócić system transportowy całej aglomeracji miejskiej. Jednym z elementów stanu torowiska są geometryczne nierówności toru zmieniające się w trakcie jego eksploatacji. Ich wpływ na dynamikę pojazdu jest bezdyskusyjny. Duże nierówności i niedostosowanie do nich prędkości jazdy mogą spowodować wykolejenie pojazdu. Badania symulacyjne dynamiki pojazdu pozwalają na osza-cowanie ryzyka wykolejenia i mogą stanowić istotny element procesu homologacji. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań ruchu pojazdu na torach, których geometrię zdefiniowano poprzez wskaźnik jakości toru jako tory o bardzo dobrym, dobrym i dostatecznym stanie utrzymania. W badaniach wykorzystano dane pomiarowe charakteryzujące nierówności pionowe, poprzeczne oraz lokalną przechyłkę toru. W artykule skupiono się nad badaniami lekkiego pojazdu szynowego (tramwaju) z konwencjonalnymi zastawami kołowymi. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono warunkom eksploatacyjnym, w których może dojść do sytuacji niebezpiecznych zakłócających niezawodność działania miejskiego systemu transportowego.
One of the key issues of research on reliability equipment is their dynamic behaviour in the course of the exploitation. An important factor affecting the reliability of transport systems exploiting rail vehicles is the appropriate state of maintenance of track infrastructure. It is the wrong condition that can cause a break in the traffic, which in the case of the vehicle such as the tram can disrupt the transport system throughout the whole urban agglomeration. One of the elements of the state of the track is arising in the course of operation of geometric inequalities of the track. Their impact on the dynamics of the vehicle is indisputable. Large inequality and lack of adaptation to these speeds can cause a derailment of the vehicle. Research simulation of vehicle dynamics allows for the estimation of the risk of derailment and it can be an important element in enhancing the process of approval. The article gives the results of the research involving the simulation of the movement of the vehicle on the tracks, where the geometry defined by the quality of the track is named as a track for a very good, good and sufficient condition. In the research we used survey data related to vertical irregularities, transversal and local cant of a railway track. The article focuses on the research of a light rail vehicle (tram) with a conventional wheelset. Particular attention was given to the conditions of exploitation, which could lead to dangerous situations disturbing reliability of the urban transport system. The article presents the method, which uses modelling of transport processes to selected aspects of the organization of rail freight. Using of modelling takes into account the conditions specific to the market economy. Specified, the conditions which must be satisfied that the demand for cargo generated by the buyers of transport services, was carried out by the railway operators who offer their services on the transport market.

W artykule przedstawiono model fizyczny oraz matematyczny agregatu rolniczego wraz z symulacją komputerową jego dynamiki przy poruszaniu się po torze prób w kształcie "ósemki". Przyjęto w ramach studium płaski model dwukołowy "jednośladowy" ciągnika uwzględniający, poprzez siły przyłożone na czop zaczepu, wpływ przyczepy na zachowanie ruchu agregatu. Studium to wykonane jest w celu przyszłościowego skonstruowania sterownika, pozwalającego na zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa ruchu agregatu rolniczego po drogach publicznych. W zidentyfikowanym modelu uwzględnia się nie tylko sztywność poprzeczną zawieszeń pojazdu, lecz również sztywności opon. Do jego implementacji zastosowano środowisko Matlab.
The article presents the physical and mathematical model of agricultural unit together with computer simulation of the dynamics during its movement on the eight-shaped test track. In the study, it was adopted flat, two-wheeled tractor model including, by forces applied to the hitch pin, trailer's impact on the behavior of unit. The study is carried out for future construction of a driver, as to ensure movement's safety of agricultural unit on public roads.The identified model takes into account not only the lateral stiffness of the vehicle's suspension, but also the tires' stiffness. Its implementation uses Matlab environment.
