    Opis:
    There are two variants of the text of Mk 9:2, which relate that the Transfiguration of Jesus occurred during prayer. One of these versions, which is attested to by papyrus P 45 among others, adds three disciples, witnesses to the Transfiguration, to this prayer. Another version, however, states that only Jesus himself was praying at that time (which concurs with the Lucan account of the Transfiguration, Lk 9:28-29). The version of Mk 9:2 which recounts of the prayer of the disciples with Jesus is hard to reconcile with the parallel account in Luke. This fact casts doubt upon the veracity of the generally-accepted view, which holds that both versions of Mk 9:2 are in accord with the text of the Gospel of Luke. This article looks at how the process of harmonization itself may have led to the removal of words from Mark's account that describe the prayer of the disciples.

    The Passion Narratives in Synoptic Gospels present Jesus on the cross not only as a Messias patiens, but also as a Messias orans. This article constitutes an attempt to show a synoptic picture of the Crucified who prays. In the first part of the article we focus on the nonverbal dimension of Jesus’ prayer on the cross, e.g. on the posture of his body forced by the means of execution and on his laud, inarticulate cry of the agony. In the second part, the subject of the analysis becomes three of seven “last words of Jesus”, that assume the form of prayer: Luc 23,34a; Mt 27,46; Luc 23,46.

    Opis:
    Ps 22 is a piece of artistically high poetry, clear images and metaphors, historical and prophetic references. The conviction of biblical scholars that the New Testament writers has recognized in Ps 22 prophetic witness of passion, accompanies the Church from its beginnings. The words of Jesus on the cross, taken from Ps 22: 2, have a character of lamentable re-symbolization of the prayer of Israel. These words establish a theological answer in the form of suitable credo as well. Dramatic question “why?” is connected with a proclamation and identification “My God”. The personal experience of oppression and death is included by Jesus in the history of his nation and in the experience of God. Ps 22 in the Gospels’ passion context becomes a proclamation form of prayer and a very personal, expressed in such dramatic circumstances confession of the faith.
    Ps 22 z uwagi na kunszt poezji, wyrazistość obrazów i metafor oraz historyczne i prorockie referencje jest dziełem niezwykłym. Przekonananie egzegetów o tym, że nowotestamentalni hagiografowie uznali w Ps 22 profetyczne świadectwo pasyjne, towarzyszy Kościołowi od samego początku. Słowa Jezusa na krzyżu, zapożyczone z Ps 22, 2, mają zarówno charakter lamentacyjnej resymbolizacji modlitwy Izraela, jak też stanowią teologiczną wypowiedź w formie swoistego credo. Dramatyczne pytanie „dlaczego?” łączy się z identyfikującym „Boże mój”. Indywidualne doświadczenie opresji Jezus wkomponowuje w dzieje swojego narodu i w doświadczenie Boga. Ps 22 w kontekście pasyjnym Jezusa to forma retoryczna modlitwy, bardzo osobistego, objawiającego wyznania wiary.

    El presente artículo afronta una de las cuestiones más problemáticas en la vida cristiana: cómo conjugar la vida espiritual con el apostolado. En este momento en el que la Iglesia se plantea la Nueva Evangelización como su gran reto, la comprensión de ambas dimensiones de la vida cristiana necesita de una urgente integración. Teresa de Jesús en su tiempo también sufrió la disyuntiva, que la ocupó y preocupo durante toda su vida. Ella no podía contentarse con ser una monja de clausura, deseaba ayudar a Cristo en su misión. Teresa nos ayuda a encontrar una solución “experiencial y evangélica” a esta disyuntiva.
    This article addresses one of the most problematic issues in the Christian life: how to combine the spiritual life and the apostolate. At this moment in which the Church raises the new evangelization as its major challenge, the understanding of both dimensions of Christian life needs urgent integration. Teresa of Jesus in her time also suffred this dilemma, which kept her preoccupied during her lifetime. She could not be content being a cloistered nun, she wanted to help Christ in his mission. Teresa helps us discover an “experiential and Evangelical” solution to this dilemma.
