Opis:: Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie możliwości wsparcia nowoczesnymi narzędziami m-learningowymi kształcenia na uczelniach. W artykule zaprezentowano dynamikę rozwoju rynku aplikacji mobilnych. Zastosowane metody badawcze to analiza krytyczna źródeł literaturowych oraz studia przypadków wdrożenia m-learningu na uczelniach. Po przeanalizowaniu rozwoju rynku aplikacji edukacyjnych w świetle polskich realiów wydaje się, że rozsądną opcją jest wsparcie tradycyjnych metod nauczania przez iPady. Wyzwania, jakie z tym się wiążą, to konieczność opracowania aplikacji edukacyjnych skrojonych do potrzeb specyficznych kierunków studiów lub przetłumaczenia istniejących na język polski.
The goal of this article is to show the possibilities of supporting the educational system at Universities by modern m-learning tools. This article presents dynamic development of mobile applications. Implemented research methods: critical analysis of literature sources and case studies of implementation of m-learning at Universities.It seems, after the analysis development of the educational app market in the light of polish reality, that a reasonable option is supporting traditional methods of teaching by iPads. The challenges are: necessity to create educational apps tailored to the needs of particular field of study or translating already existing into polish language.

Opis:: The paper presents a set of soŌware tools dedicated to support mobile robot navigaƟon. The tools are used to process an image from a depth sensor. They are implemented in ROS framework and they are compaƟble with standard ROS navigaƟon packages. The soŌware is released with an open source licence. First of the tools converts a 3D depth image to a 2D scan in polar coordinates. It provides projecƟon of the obstacles, removes the ground plane from the image and compensates sensor Ɵlt angle. The node is faster than the standard node within ROS and it has addiƟonal funcƟons increasing range of possible applicaƟons. The second tool allows detecƟon of negaƟve obstacles i.e. located below the ground plane level. The third tool esƟmates height and orientaƟon of the sensor with RANSAC algorithm applied to the depth image. The paper presents also the results of usage of the tools with mobile plaƞorms equipped with MicrosoŌ Kinect sensors. The plaƞorms are elements of the ReMeDi project within which the soŌware was developed.

Opis:: Rynek aplikacji mobilnych dla najmłodszych rośnie w bardzo szybkim tempie. Aby wykorzystywane do zabawy aplikacje były dla dziecka bezpieczne i stymulujące jego rozwój, powinny spełniać określone kryteria. Niestety wyszukiwanie aplikacji dla dzieci utrudnia nie tylko ogrom dostępnego oprogramowania. Dzięki przeprowadzonym badaniom jakościowym z udziałem rodziców małych dzieci (w wieku 2–6 lat) udało się zidentyfikować liczne trudności i obawy rodziców usiłujących znaleźć odpowiednie aplikacje. Te wyniki wykorzystano uwzględnione przy przygotowaniu katalogu Best-App, ułatwiającego dostęp do bezpiecznych aplikacji.
The market for mobile apps for small children has been growing rapidly. In order not to harm but to stimulate child’s development, applications should meet certain criteria. However, searching for the applications for children could be difficult not only because of enormous amount of available software, but also for other reasons. Thanks to the qualitative research conducted with parents of small children (aged 2–6) it was possible to identify many problems and concerns of parents who search for appropriate applications. These results were taken into account during the preparation of the Best App catalog which makes it easier to access safe applications for children.
