Opis:
In times of multiculturalism and religious pluralism issue of mixed marriages it is very timely. It is an object of interest of all faiths and religions. The author of the present article takes the issue of mixed marriages from the point of view of three Christian faiths: Roman Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church and the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland. Each of these churches makes his faithful requirements that are necessary to be able to to marry with a person of another faith or religion. Unfortunately, the similarity these norms can lead to difficulties in marriages of different religious or church affiliation.

In the following article author presents the theoretical assumptions of the concept of creative life orientation, the specificity of creative life orientation, and the theoretical assumptions of the concept of holistic intercultural education. This article presents the collaborative areas of both concepts: ontological assumptions in philosophy of dialogue, metaphysics of orientation, human pedagogy and empirical research as exemplification of these concepts. Openness to Another, dialogue with Him and creative understanding of Another are very important in the concept of creative life orientation and in the concept of holistic intercultural education.

This article depicts issues related to the functioning of religiously mixed marriages. These marriages are embodied in the multicultural landscape of Podlasie, which is inhabited by people of different religious traditions. The diversity of our region causes that many people decide to marry a person belonging to other denominations: for example, one spouse belongs to the Orthodox Church whereas the other one – to the Roman Catholic Church. Religious diversity, which is often applied to the diversity of a nation, entails bicultural nature of the relationship. This makes spouses adopt such attitudes that will facilitate their functioning. It is necessary entails in this type of a marriage a thorny issue may be the place of baptism of a child, double celebration of holidays or dilemmas related to a potential change of a religion. It can be assumed that the religious aspect plays a very important role. Nevertheless, we must also take into account secularizing trends developing in the society and their impact on the functioning of religiously mixed marriages in the form of marginalization of a religious factor.

Partners in Polish-Russian couples have different opinions concerning women’s appearence. Stressing femininity and paying much attention to attractiveness of a female-partner seems to be very important to Russian partners of both sexes. In this paper, this phenomenon is analyzed from two perspectives. The gender perspective pays special attention to the diversities in the evolution of partiarchal model in Poland and Russia. The analysis from the perspective of cultural anthropology leads to the conclusion about manifestation of Russian identity in Polish-Russian relations. Concidering “femininity” an important category and laying a metaphysical emphasis on it seems to be one of the ways of the “being Russian” manifestation.

La parte cattolica nel matrimonio misto deve impegnarsi a battezzare e educare i figli nella Chiesa cattolica (CIC/83, can. 1125, n. 1; CCEO, can. 814, n. 1). Nel battesimo l'uomo viene liberato dal peccato ed incorporato nella Chiesa – Corpo di Cristo. Questa incorporazione si realizza nel quadro di una Chiesa particolare. Secondo il CCEO, can. 29 § 1 il figlio al di sotto dei 14 anni, con un genitore cattolico ed un acattolico, è ascritto tramite il battesimo alla Chiesa del genitore cattolico. In questo caso si tratta della Chiesa orientale cattolica sui iuris. La questione dell'appartenenza ecclesiale acquisita nel battesimo viene definita anche nel CIC/83, tuttavia riguarda soltanto i bambini nati dal matrimonio tra entrambi i genitori latini oppure quando uno di loro è latino e l'altro orientale cattolico. Esiste invece una lacuna iuris circa la definizione dell'appartenenza ecclesiale di un bambino nato dal matrimonio misto tra un genitore latino ed un acattolico. Il problema si fa serio soprattutto, quando il bambino di tale unione è stato battezzato nella Chiesa acattolica. In primo luogo bisogna osservare che il rito, il luogo ed il ministro del battesimo non sono determinanti per l'appartenenza ecclesiale del battezzato. Essa dipenderŕ dai genitori e da quanto stabilito nel diritto. Trattandosi poi di una lacuna iuris, bisogna, secondo i CIC/83, cann. 17 e 19, tener presenti le leggi date per casi simili, la prassi della Curia Romana, il fine e le circostanze nelle quali è stata emanata la legge. Considerando la situazione contemplata nel CCEO, can. 29 § 1, la prassi costante della Congregazione per le Chiese Orientali e la sollecitudine del legislatore per l'integralitŕ della fede della parte cattolica e del suo bambino, risulta con chiarezza che il bambino nato da un matrimonio misto contratto da un cattolico di rito latino acquisirŕ nel battesimo l'appartenenza ecclesiale del genitore cattolico. Ciň vale anche quando il battesimo è amministrato nella Chiesa acattolica o nella Comunitŕ ecclesiale.

Atrakcyjność i aktualność badań prowadzonych wokół życia rodzinnego związana jest z dynamicznymi przemianami społeczno-kulturowymi, gospodarczymi, a także politycznymi zachodzącymi w skali globalnej. Nie bez znaczenia dla funkcjonowania rodziny i jej członków jest również sytuacja światowej pandemii, która znacząco wpłynęła na strukturę rodziny oraz potrzeby i wartości cenione przez jej członków. Żywotność tematu skłania do refleksji nad kondycją współczesnej rodziny i rodzi potrzebę poznania skutków oddziaływań zewnętrznych na jej kształt i środowisko wewnętrzne. W zaprezentowanym opracowaniu podejmuję rozważania wokół problematyki rodziny, interesują mnie przede wszystkim małżeństwa mieszane, które stają się coraz bardziej widoczne, nie tylko w statystykach zawieranych małżeństw, a przede wszystkim w życiu społecznym. Zawiązywanie małżeństw mieszanych znajduje swoje uzasadnienie w zwiększonej mobilności społecznej, pozbawieniu barier świata komunikacji interpersonalnej (powszechne wykorzystanie nowoczesnych technologii w życiu zawodowym oraz osobistym), może również wynikać z indywidualnych potrzeb i preferencji osób zawierających takie związki małżeńskie. Małżeństwo mieszane samo w sobie może być wartością, jednak fakt bycia w takim związku może stanowić swego rodzaju balast. Zaprezentowane opracowanie jest próbą uchwycenia pewnych tendencji zachodzących w doświadczeniach życia społecznego przez małżeństwa mieszane. W artykule wyróżniam trzy części, w których kolejno wprowadzam w problematykę życia rodzinnego i funkcjonowania małżeństw mieszanych, następnie analizuję dane i materiały, nakreślając pewne tendencje odnoszące się do różnych aspektów życia rodzinnego i życia w społeczeństwie. Opracowanie kończę podsumowaniem i wskazaniem wniosków.
The attractiveness and topicality of the research into family life are related to dynamic sociocultural, economic and political transformations which take place globally. For the functioning of family and its members, the current pandemic situation is also of due significance as it has had a substantial impact on the structure of family as well as the needs and values of its members. The topicality of this issue prompts reflection upon the condition of modern family 325A. Hruzd-MAtuszczyk Małżeństwa mieszane w przestrzeni społecznej and induces the need for finding out the effects of outer influences on its shape and its inner environment. In the presented study, a discussion is undertaken on the problems of family, with special focus on mixed marriages, which have been increasingly visible not only in marriage statistics but, first of all, in social life. Entering mixed marriages can be justified by bigger social mobility and the elimination of the barriers in interpersonal communication (common use of modern technologies in professional and personal life), or may also result from the individual needs and preferences of people entering such marriages. Mixed marriage itself can be a value, yet - being in such a relationship might constitute a certain burden. The presented study is an attempt to capture certain tendencies occurring in the experiencing of social life by mixed marriages. The article consists of three parts, in which subsequently the issues of family life and the functioning of mixed marriages are introduced, then the data and materials are analysed and certain tendencies are distinguished in reference to various aspects of family and social life. The study is completed with a recapitulation and the indication of some conclusions.

W zaprezentowanym artykule ukazano, zgodnie z Kodeksem Prawa Kanonicznego z 1983 r., możliwość zawarcia małżeństwa mieszanego w jednej konfiguracji, jakim jest związek katolika obrządku łacińskiego z wiernym Kościoła polskokatolickiego. Tematyka tego artykułu została zaprezentowana w dwóch aspektach, jakimi są: hipoteza związana z zawieraniem związku w Kościele rzymskokatolickim po spełnieniu określonych warunków oraz hipoteza związana z zawieraniem związku w Kościele polskokatolickim po wypełnieniu odpowiednich wymogów. Z przeprowadzonych analiz wynika, iż chrzest udzielany w Kościele polskokatolickim jest ważny. Dlatego też małżeństwo zawarte przez katolika z wiernym Kościoła polskokatolickiego podpada pod kanoniczną konfigurację związku zawieranego przez katolika z akatolikiem ochrzczonym. Stąd też w tym przypadku znajdują aplikację kan. 1124-1129 Kodeksu.
The article discusses the possibility of entering into a mixed marriage in a configuration represented by the union of a Catholic of the Latin Rite with a member of the Polish Catholic Church The central issue is presented in the following two aspects: a hypothesis connected with entering into marriage unions in the Roman Catholic Church after fulfilling appropriate requirements, and a hypothesis connected with entering into marriage unions in Polish Catholic Church after fulfilling appropriate requirements. The presented research implies that baptism administered in the Polish Catholic Church is valid, therefore marriage entered by a Catholic with a faithful of the Polish Catholic Church canonically equivalent to a union entered into by a Catholic with a baptized non-Catholic hence the applicability of cann. 1124-1129 of the Code.

This article is based on the material of the specific socio-psychological research held in Yakutia in 2006-2009. The influence of one of the most important factors in the adaptation process is analyzed. In this article one of the most important factors is the family, the type of marriage of parents (ethnically homogenous and ethnically mixed marriage) which influences the acculturation strategies of a child, his migration intentions, ethnic and civil self-identification, as well as his level of psychological adaptation. The questions of historical and modernprerequisites for the formation of positive attitude of the society towards the phenomenon of ethnically mixed families in the North are also considered here.

Silne tendencje homogamiczne, jeśli chodzi o takie kryteria, jak narodowość, rasa/grupa etniczna czy wyznawana religia w kulturze polskiej są typowe dla strategii doboru małżonka. Dane Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego wskazują, że odsetek związków binacjonalnych nie jest wysoki i oscyluje (w różnych latach) w granicach 2%. Potencjalnie partnerów pochodzących z różnych krajów czy kultur może różnić całe spektrum spraw, od fundamentalnych związanych z wyznawanym światopoglądem i systemem aksjonormatywnym, po pozornie błahe codzienne upodobania. Analiza wypowiedzi uczestników forów dyskusyjnych poświęconych tematyce funkcjonowania związków tego typu oraz oficjalnej strony Stowarzyszenia Małżeństw Polaków z Obcokrajowcami dostarczyła odpowiedzi na pytanie: Z jakimi problemami borykają się tego rodzaju pary, co ich zdaniem stwarza największe przeszkody w pomyślnym funkcjonowaniu związku? W badaniu zastosowano metodę analizy treści1 materiałów zastanych, która pozwoliła na stworzenie odrębnych kategorii analitycznych – kluczy kategoryzacyjnych. W celu zapewnienia wynikom postępowania badawczego waloru intersubiektywności, do każdego klucza kategoryzacji stworzono definicję opisującą i precyzującą, co wchodzi w skład danej kategorii. Ostatnim etapem było stworzenie tabeli z tematycznie pogrupowanymi cytatami, na podstawie których tworzone były kategorie klucza. Opracowanie materiałów empirycznych pozwala na zarysowanie trzech obszarów problemowych: relacje w diadzie (komunikacja, porozumienie, rozwiązywanie konfliktów, budowanie wspólnoty, definiowanie ról małżeńskich itp.), kontakty ze społecznym otoczeniem (rodzina, znajomi, współpracownicy, sąsiedzi), relacje z instytucjami (ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem instytucji państwowych zajmujących się obcokrajowcami).
Strong homogenous tendencies with regard to such criteria as the nationality, the ethnic race/group, or the practised religion in the Polish culture are typical of the strategy of the selection of the spouse. Data from the Central Statistical Office indicates that the percentage of bicultural marriages isn’t high and is fluctuating (in different years) up to a maximum of 2%. Potentially partners from different countries and cultures may differ in a whole spectrum of issues ranging from the fundamentals associated with the professed worldview and axiological system to the, seemingly trivial, everyday preferences. Analysis of statements of the participants of discussion boards devoted to the functioning of this type of partnership, and the official website of the Association of Poles in Marriages with Foreigners, provided a response to the question: what problems are facing this kind of couples, which they believe poses the greatest obstacle to the successful functioning of the relationship? The study used the method of content analysis of existing materials, which allowed for the creation of separate analytic categories – categorization keys. In order to ensure that the results of research procedure attain the overall merit of intersubjectivity, we created for each categorization key a definition describing and detailing what is included in this category. The last step was to create a table with thematically grouped quotes. Development of empirical materials can scratch three problem areas: relationships in the dyad (communication, understanding, conflict resolution, community building, defining roles, etc.), Contacts with the social environment (family, friends, colleagues, neighbours), relationships with institutions (especially state institutions foreigners).

The views of Canon Law on mixed marriages have recently changed and this paper takes a look at some selected issues of a mixed marriage under that law. In particular, the permissibility of a marriage between a Catholic and an Orthodox is analysed from the point of view of the currently binding Latin and Eastern Catholic law. The attitude of the Church to Catholic-Orthodox marriages has been changing over the centuries, and until recently mixed marriages have been regulated by the provisions of the Code of Canon Law of 1983. Those provisions have now been substantially amended, but two important questions still remain unanswered: (i) what is the nature of the prohibition to conclude a mixed marriage under the Code of Canon Law of 1983 and (ii) is a Catholic-Orthodox marriage permitted?
Niniejszy artykuł z uwagi na zmianę prawa kanonicznego o małżeństwach mieszanych, podejmuje problematykę wybranych zagadnień z zakresu zawarcia małżeństwa mieszanego. W szczególności autorka zajmie się dopuszczalnością zawarcia małżeństwa mieszanego katolików z prawosławnymi według obecnego stanu prawa łacińskiego i katolickiego prawa wschodniego. Stosunek Kościoła (ustawodawcy kościelnego) do zawierania wskazanych powyżej małżeństw zmieniał się na przestrzeni wieków. Kwestię małżeństw mieszanych uregulował Kodeks prawa kanonicznego z 1983 r. Przepisy, a tym samym zasady prawne, dotyczące zawarcia małżeństwa przez osoby wyznania rzymskokatolickiego i prawosławnego zostały zasadniczo zmienione. Istotna jest odpowiedź na pytania: Jaki charakter ma zakaz zawierania małżeństw mieszanych wynikający z Kodeksu prawa kanonicznego z 1983 r. i czy małżeństwo katolicko-prawosławne jest dozwolone?

W artykule podjęto analizę problematyki okoliczności skutkujących narusze- niem lub ograniczeniem wolności sumienia lub wyznania w aspekcie indywidualnym. Autorowi opracowania zależy na osiągnięciu postawionych celów badawczych poprzez analizę ogólnych założeń Dekretu Generalnego Episkopatu Polski z roku 2020. W ramach opracowania wzięto pod uwagę obszar naruszeń wolności sumienia przez małżonka w kontekście małżeństwa mieszanego (kwestie zmiany wyznania, utrudniania praktyk religijnych). W ramach indywidualnej ochrony wolności sumienia i wyznania analizo- wano także procesy kanoniczne, w szczególności – procesy małżeńskie. Tym bardziej, że kwestia sumienia i wyznania jest brana pod uwagę z urzędu w toku procesu małżeńskiego.
The article analyzes the issue of circumstances that result in the violation or limitation of freedom of conscience or religion in the individual aspect. The author of the study wants to achieve the relevant research goals by analyzing the general as- sumptions of the General Decree of the Polish Episcopate of 2020. Within the scope of the study, the area of violations of the freedom of conscience by the spouse in the con- text of a mixed marriage (issues of changing religion, hindering religious practices) was discussed. As part of the individual protection of the freedom of conscience and religion, canonical processes, in particular – matrimonial processes, were also discussed. Especially that the issue of conscience and religion is taken into account ex officio in the course of the matrimonial process.

Opis:
Marriage is an institution known in all communities, both cultural and religious. The existing similarities and differences in the understanding of its meaning in diverse social, spiritual and religious environments, is an important reference point in the wide debate about marriage as well as it can help maintain an appropriate reference to each other people joining in the association and representing different views. Presented in the article, the science of marriage in the Protestant Catechism for Adults is an approximation of understanding of the issue of marriage in Protestantism. The principal topics were presented in four points: civil marriage and religious marriage with regard to issues about the nature of marriage and its existing form. And also the issues of marriage and family circumstances especially divorce marriage and intermarriage. These issues are the subject of the analyzes.

W artykule podejmuje się próbę przybliżenia ekumenicznego wymiaru małżeństw między katolikami i prawosławnymi. Na przestrzeni historii w podejściu do małżeństw mieszanych, tak w jednej, jak i w drugiej tradycji wyznaniowej, dokonała się znaczna ewolucja: od absolutnego zakazu zawierania tego rodzaju związków do ich ograniczonej akceptacji i dostrzeżenia ich ekumenicznej funkcji. W rezultacie w nowszych dokumentach Kościołów oraz w tekstach katolicko-prawosławnego dialogu ekumenicznego można stwierdzić współistnienie tych dwóch elementów, co wskazuje na specyficzną tożsamość małżeństw mieszanych. Proces ewolucji stanowiska wobec małżeństw między katolikami i prawosławnymi, jak również różnice w rozłożeniu akcentów na jeden lub drugi aspekt tej złożonej rzeczywistości pozostają ściśle związane z obecnymi w obydwu Kościołach poglądami na temat charakteru eklezjalnego innych wyznań chrześcijańskich i ważności sprawowanych w nich sakramentów.
In the article, I am focusing on the ecumenical dimension of marriage between Catholics and Orthodox Christians. In the course of history, the attitude toward mixed marriages both in the first and in the latter Church tradition has evolved to a considerable degree – from absolutely forbidding this kind of relationships to their limited acceptance and perceiving their ecumenical function. As a result, both these elements can be found side by side in the latest Church documents and in the texts of the Catholic-Orthodox ecumenical dialogue. This points to a specific identity of mixed marriages. The process of evolution of the respective stands on a Catholic-Orthodox marriage and the differences in emphasizing either aspect of the complex reality has been closely related to the Churches’ stands on the ecclesial character of other Christian denominations and on the validity of their sacraments.

Wenn die Eltern im Glauben geteilt sind, so kann die einzige vernünftige Lösung ausschließlich in der Erziehung aller Kinder im Sinne bloß des einen oder bzw. des anderen einzigen Glauben liegen. Schmerzhafte Frage dabei ist, welche von dieser Religionen überwiegen soll? Antwort auf diese Frage, welche die Katholische Kirche mit einer autoritativen Aussage und Rechtmäßigkeit tut, ist die, daß alle Kinder in der Katholischen Kirche getauft und erzogen werden sollen. In der Praxis verbindet sich dies oft mit ernsten Problemen, die sowohl seitens der Eltern, wie auch ihrer Kinder in Erfahrung gebracht werden. Ob jedenfalls die Katholische Kirche tatsächlich anders verfahren kann, ohne gleichzeitig den Glauben an sich zu verlieren, sowie ohne Verneinung ihrer eigenen Persönlichkeit?
