Opis:: In the article an analysis of harmonic distortion in armature currents in synchronous machine during co-operation with electric power system is presented. The analysis is carried out thanks to the computer applications designed in LabVIEW - graphical programming environment. The applications allow to carry out the analysis of the influence of voltage unbalance and harmonic distortion on the power quality and to display on screen the non-sine waveforms of the voltages and currents taken by electrical equipment. Moreover, the programs display the RMS values of active, reactive and apparent power as well as power of distortion and coefficients: THD, PHD, IHD, power factor and voltage unbalance. In addition, the applications allow to record the signals from A/C measuring devices or oscilloscopes and save them to file for further analysis.

Opis:: The paper presents the method of creating parameterized geometric three-dimensional models of permanent magnet excited disc-type electrical machines in Flux3D application. Essential links described functional compounds between the model and its features used for modeling the machine with two outer disk rotors and one inner coreless stator is presented. In addition, shows examples of machine-generated models of the various quantities of poles and geometric dimensions. Some simulation models have been compared with physical models.

Opis:: Electric motor which will be assembled into any machine used in process engineering must meet definite design and drive requirements. Issues related to design of cage induction motor to be used in machine manufacturing of concrete pillars are discussed in this paper. We have decided to fulfill specified requirements by designing a motor with number of pole pairs p=1, but using steel laminations designed previously for motor with p=2 pole pairs. This conception has proved to be satisfactory, since the motor meets the technical demands. Motor design and actual test parameters are set out in Table 1.

Opis:: The paper presents a method of creating of a template for arranging measuring points on an examined object. Simple visualization of arranging of measuring points is usually based on a static picture. There is no possibility to reuse such visualization with another model than the model the visualization has been designed for. Adding, deleting and moving the points is difficult. The presented solution creates a template that allows to arrange measuring points dynamically and present them as a spatial image. The proposed template is convenient for machines with a cylindrical structure. The algorithm of division of the structure is presented which allows to create a template in a form of a tree that allows the measuring point to be stored, rebuilt and presented in an easy and standard way.

Opis:: This article contains a pulsating torque calculation of 3-phase induction machine with power 1.1 kW from electromagnetic field. Whole analysis is done by finite element method in ANSYS. The torque is calculated via a circular path integral of the Maxwell stress tensor. The Maxwell stress tensor provides a convenient way of computing forces acting on bodies by evaluating a surface integral.

Opis:: A very interesting construction of disc-type machines are coreless machines. Because there is no core in the stator this type of axial flux machines doesn't have a cogging torque, iron losses or eddy current. Axial flux machines are construction, which requires to make a 3D model. Presented in this paper are 3D field models of coreless axial flux machines, which map a prototype of the machine made. Demonstrated are methods of modeling particular elements and parameters of machines.

Opis:: Switched Reluctance Machines (SRMs) applied in adjustable speed drives are receiving during the last two decades considerable attention from industry since they are characterised by rigid construction, high operation reliability, high efficiency and last but not least low manufacturing costs. The successful realization of a SRM drive for industrial application demands inter alia of the determination of the best motor construction from the point of view of the requirements of considered drive. A new hybrid design method for SRM drives with application of analytical calculation methods, finite element method and simulation models is proposed in this paper. The calculation/design system is characterised by important effectivity and reliability. The correctness of the proposed design algorithms is verified by laboratory tests made on two motor prototypes manufactured for concrete industrial applications.

Opis:: This paper deals with thermal optimization of electric machines. There are described the connections of finite element methods with optimizations algorithms. This connection is used for modifications of brushless motor construction. Solution of physical field model is realized by FEMM program which cooperate with optimizing program. Optimizing program was created in Java programming language. This program can be easily modified for various Finite Elements Methods solvers. Cooperation between optimizing program and FEMM is realized be LUA script. Four optimizing algorithms were chosen for using in program: Random find, Bees method, Hill climbing and Simulated annealing. Compare of these methods is in this paper. The part of this work is the complete thermal analysis of AC machine and modifications of cooling.

Opis:: The computer system connection with a sparking analiser enabled the evaluation of the brush-commutator sparking junction in reference to a particular portion of the commutator. To assess the sparking some mathematical indicators were applied, which reflect light signals. The measurements results of the conducted research are always different from the real figures. The physical figures measurements are capable to establish only the estimates which contain errors. In this article an attempt to a discussion of the errors committed at conducting the measurements by means of the opto-electronic method was presented.

Opis:: The mathematical model of a switched reluctance motor which takes nonlinearity of magnetic circuit into consideration has been presented in the paper. Construction of the simulation model using Matlab/Simulink system has been discussed. The basis of the simulation model are flux-current-angle and torque-current-angle characteristics which were received by field calculations with the finite element method. Some chosen simulation results (current and torque waveform) have been included. On the basis of the obtained results comparative analysis of current and of torque waveform has been performed. The analysis also covered some results from laboratory measurements.

The theoretical foundations of receding the new family of eutectic alloys were introduced in the paper. On range of possibility of opinion resistance on waste of received materials was introduced and chosen results of leadership of such investigations on modernized Amsler machine from it utilization the computer aid to registration and the opinion of got results. It change was applied as well as arrangements mechanical measuring head recording-measuring. Measurement concerns investigative pattern pin of disk.
