Opis:: The purpose of the paper was to answer the question whether the legal regulations ensure an agricultural producer (lessee) sufficient stability in terms of farming, namely in terms of running a stable agricultural activity. According to the author of this article, this stability consists of two elements: ensuring the agricultural producer continuity of possession and enjoyment of the profits as well as guaranteeing manufacturing capacity of the subject of the agricultural lease. The article presents, among other things, the assessment of the influence of legal solutions included in Act of 16 September 2011 on changing Act on the management of agricultural property of the State Treasury on stability of the agricultural lease. It also analyzes questions relating to lease of private land and lease of land from the units of local governments. Moreover, the article focuses on the instruments protecting the manufacturing capacity of the subject of the lease, including EU regulations that make the obtaining of financial support subject to meeting numerous requirements concerning the treatments and maintaining good agricultural condition. The article also concentrates on the issues of amendments and improvements. In the final part of the article the author has stated that research has confirmed that the legal regulations do not protect farming on leased agricultural land in a sufficient way. The current legal regulations on agricultural land lease do not correspond to the requirements of present situation in Poland. Therefore, de lege ferenda proposal has been put forward to change the provisions relating to the agricultural land lease

Opis:: This paper investigates a production system configuration with respect to the use of technological machines that make part of this system. The investigation involved the design of a reconfigurable production system for manufacturing shafts. Based on input data, the number of necessary technological machines (machine tools) is defined, system configurations ensuring the required rate of production yield are developed and selected solutions (configurations) are analyzed. The production system was assessed based on numerical simulation results obtained with Enterprise Dynamics.

Opis:: The objective of this research is to propose an indicator to assess and rank environmental problems caused by production within the food manufacturing sector of Thailand. The factors used to calculate the real benefit included the costs of natural resources, energy and transportation, fertilizer and pesticides, and sanitary and similar service. The highest environmental cost in terms of both natural resources materials and energy and transportation was ice, while the highest environmental cost for fertilizer and pesticides was coconut and palm oil. Confectionery had the highest environmental cost for sanitary and similar services. Overall, real estate gained the highest real benefit, while repair not classified elsewhere had the lowest real benefit for the company. If Thailand uses an indicator of environmental harm, especially within the food manufacturing sector, it could help to formulate efficient policies and strategies for the country in three areas of development, which are social, economic, and environmental development.

Opis:: While knowledge and technology have created global markets, economic stimulation on the local level is increasingly recognised as the key to regional resilience. As such, regional capacity building initiatives have moved into endogenous development models that build on the local economic context, embedded competencies and social structures. Illustrating an endogenous regional development initiative, this paper discusses a recent program in regional Victoria based on ‘economic gardening’ principles of infrastructure, information and connections and tailored to the specific needs of small to medium enterprises with high growth potential. The program brought together three tiers of government and the regional university to increase innovative capacity and performance of manufacturers in the region. The paper discusses program design and recruitment and reports both outcomes and participant satisfaction with the program. Taking a wider regional development focus, the paper concludes with a discussion endogenous capacity building programs of this nature in terms of their contribution to regional resilience and policy design.
Stymulowanie rozwoju na poziomie lokalnym jest kluczem do zwiększonej prężności regionów, dlatego też inicjatywy wpisujące się w politykę rozwoju endogenicznego i bazujące na kompetencjach i strukturach społecznych charakterystycznych dla regionu są obecnie bardzo popularne. W artykule zaprezentowano inicjatywę endogenicznego rozwoju regionu Victoria bazującą na zasadach „economic gardening” dostosowanych do specyficznych potrzeb małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw o wysokim potencjale rozwojowym. Autorka omawia również wybrane etapy realizacji programu i przedstawia jego wyniki. Dyskusji poddano wpływ tego typu programów na faktyczne wzmacnianie potencjału regionów i kształtowanie polityki rozwoju endogenicznego.

Opis:: The article presents a reflection on the viscosity of the coating extraction using numerical methods. The viscosity of the coating slag is a factor affecting a high degree on the quality of the ongoing process of refining. Too high a viscosity will restrict the diffusion of impurities from the metal to the slag, in turn, too low a viscosity will cause spreading of slag in the vicinity of the furnace wall, and thus exposing the mirror of the liquid metal which may result in adverse effects of an oxidizing atmosphere. You should also remember that too low a viscosity can increase the loss of metal in the slag as well as hinder its recovery during casting. Using the materials database and numerical methods it is possible to determine the level of selected blends of slag viscosity. Additionally, in order to determine their usefulness in refining the values obtained can be confronted with laboratory tests using derivatograph. On the basis of the designated energy index Ew and mass index r can determine the suitability of a mixture of slag and its impact oxidizing or reducing agents.
