Opis:
In the paper a fragment of research on development of modelling methods of asymmetrical multi-bolted flange connections is presented. The effect of the bolt modelling method in a single bolted joint on both the stiffness characteristics of elements joined in the multi-bolted flange connection and bold forces have been examined. An analysis of the multi-bolted flange connection is carried out for selected models created using the finite element method (FEM). Guidelines for the selection of the bolt modelling method in the case of both the stiffness analysis and the load analysis of multi-bolted flange connections have been pointed out.

Opis:
Omówiono symulacyjne badania wytrzymałościowe konstrukcji nośnej maszyny do jednoetapowego zbioru wierzby. Określono węzły konstrukcji, w których występują koncentracje naprężeń dla przypadków obliczeniowych - transportu, przejazdu po polu oraz pracy. Wyznaczone wartości naprężeń uśrednionych oraz naprężeń amplitudowych odniesiono do wykresu Goodmana-Smitha dla stali S355J2G3. Koncentracje naprężeń zlokalizowane w badanych węzłach konstrukcji nie przekraczają wartości dopuszczalnych dla określonego materiału.
Structure endurance simulation examinations of the machine for one-phase willow harvesting carrying frame were discussed. Hubs of the structure, in which stress concentrations are coming, were determined for computational cases - transport, field ride and working time. Averaged and amplitude stress values are related to the Goodman-Smith graph for S355J2G3 steel. Stress concentrations located in examined hubs of the structure aren't exceeding permissible values for definite material.

Opis:
Satellites are used for navigation, communication, oceanography, astronomy, etc.. Satellites come in a diversity of sizes and forms. Depending on the satellite’s mission, different subsystems are used. These subsystems are installed inside a housing to protect them from the space environment. This housing, which is also known as the satellite primary structure or mechanical structure, is made of durable materials that can endure severe conditions during launch and in the orbit. The optimisation of satellite mass is crucial right now since satellites are losing mass every day to reduce the cost of manufacturing and launching. This review first introduces an overview of the satellite classifications and subsystems. Then, the different types of mechanical load analysis the satellite subjects itself to are demonstrated. The advanced approaches for promoting the performance of the mechanical structures of satellites are explored, with a spotlight on the effect of the optimisation parameters of isogrid and honeycomb sandwich structures on the mechanical performance of the satellite primary structure. The assembly, integration and testing (AIT) of the small satellite are briefly presented. Finally, the important potential designs to improve the mechanical performance of the satellite primary structure and the challenges of further research are summarised.

The paper presents and experimentally verifies a testing method of friction pairs between various materials: steel-cast iron, cast iron-cast iron, and cast iron-ferodo. The applied methodology for the evaluation of tribological mating of a friction part allows for determining the time series of friction torque and mechanical power transmitted by a friction pair at slippage. Time series of parameters variability in the investigated friction process after the loss of contact are presented. In addition, relationships are presented that allow for determining the basic friction pair parameters: friction torque, friction coefficient, and mechanical power. This is a basis for determining the tribological load capacity of a friction pair whose measure has been assumed as the maximum value of torsional torque and mechanical power transmitted by the tested specimens.
W artykule przedstawiono oraz eksperymentalnie zweryfikowano metodę badań skojarzeń ciernych pomiędzy różnymi materiałami: stal–żeliwo, żeliwo–żeliwo oraz żeliwo–ferodo. Zastosowana metodyka badawcza do oceny tribologicznej współpracy skojarzenia ciernego pozwala na wyznaczenie zmian przebiegu momentu tarcia oraz przenoszonej przez skojarzenie mocy mechanicznej, od chwili zerwania styku na kontakcie powierzchni trących i pracy w stanie poślizgu. Zaprezentowano przebiegi czasowe zmienności parametrów badanego procesu tarcia powierzchni skojarzonych występujące po zerwaniu kontaktu. Podano zależności umożliwiające wyznaczenie podstawowych parametrów skojarzenia ciernego: momentu tarcia, współczynnika tarcia oraz mocy mechanicznej. Daje to podstawy do określenia tribologicznej nośności skojarzenia, którego miarę przyjęto w postaci maksymalnej wartości momentu skręcającego oraz mocy mechanicznej przenoszonej przez badane próbki.

This paper presents the methodology of strength verification during load out of the heavy cargo, in this case Arkutun Dagi SE-Topside platform. General methodology of making calculation models and load algorithms has been presented. Paper shows results of verification of global shear forces and bending moments using self-developed algorithms to modify centre of gravity, fill tanks and hydrostatically balance a 3D finite element model with commercial hydrostatic code. The NAPA and ANSYS codes were used to calculate hydrostatic pressures and to apply to 3D-FE models and to carry out strength calculation of barge construction.

W żelbetowych cylindrycznych silosach na zboże o wysokości 25 m i średnicy 6 m, 8 m oraz 10 m przeprowadzono analizę wpływu wielkości mimośrodu otworu wysypowego na rozkład sił wewnętrznych w ścianie. W analizie statycznej konstrukcji silosów zastosowano kombinacje obciążeń od parcia ośrodka sypkiego występujące w komorze silosu przy niecentrycznym opróżnianiu na małych i dużych mimośrodach według PN-EN 1991–4:2008.
In reinforced concrete cylindrical silos for grain of 25 m height and diameter of 6 m, 8 m and 10 m, the impact of the eccentricity of the discharge hole on the distribution of internal forces in the wall, was analyzed. In the static analysis of silo construction, combination of loads from the pressure of the loose center present in the silo chamber with non-centric discharge on small and large eccentrics according to PN-EN 1991-4:2008, was used.

The article presents an application of queuing theory (mass service) to describe transportation process. It presents the essential concepts of the queuing theory. The process of moving a load unit through the logistics centre was presented. To illustrate the issues an example of five-level, two-input queuing networks was examined.
W artykule przedstawiono zastosowanie teorii kolejek (masowej obsługi) do opisu procesu transportowego. W artykule zaprezentowano najistotniejsze pojęcia dotyczące teorii kolejek. Przedstawiono proces przemieszczania jednostki ładunkowej w centrum logistycznym. Dla zilustrowania zagadnienia przeanalizowano przykład dwuwejściowej, pięciostopniowej sieci kolejkowej.

Article concerns a joint model of balancing energy and power reserves for the energy system which takes into account power and regulation reserves. Admission a varied situations of using energy from the system power reserves causes, that characterizes this model with a vast complexity of calculation. The aim of this paper is to present practical ways to solve this problem using several proposed heuristic algorithms of reduction scenarios. Their quality was presented at the sample data.
