Opis:
Agile Project Management is a topic that has become popular both in business and academia, since the publication of the Agile Manifesto - a historic landmark in this subject. In the next 20 years, there was a relevant scientific production that must be analyzed to provoke reflection about the knowledge built up in this period. In this sense, this study aims to analyze the relevant scientific literature on Agile Project Management through a systematic review and a bibliometric analysis of articles published in scientific journals with Digital Object Identifier, in English, from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, from 2001 to 2021. The research results enable us to gain insights into the characteristics of this knowledge domain, regarding its volume and evolutionary trend, main contributors (i.e. scientific journals, authors, and their affiliations), main studies, methods used, and its central thematic axes.

Wprowadzenie. „Wychowanie w Rodzinie” jest jednym z kluczowych czasopism ogólnopolskich z subdyscypliny pedagogiki, stąd decyzja autorów o przeprowadzeniu jego analizy. Cel. Celem artykułu jest wielopłaszczyznowa analiza czasopisma „Wychowanie w Rodzinie”. Materiały i metody. Autorzy zastosowali metodę analizy i krytyki piśmiennictwa. Wyniki. Badacze skupili się przede wszystkim na zawartości czasopisma, przedmiotem zainteresowania czyniąc artykuły zamieszczone we wszystkich numerach pisma, począwszy od numeru pierwszego z 2011 aż do numeru ostatniego z 2022 roku. Zostały przybliżone najważniejsze kwestie poruszane na łamach periodyku, a także jego najbogatsze ilościowo rubryki. W artykule omówiono także historię „Wychowania w Rodzinie”, zestawiając w tabelach dane dotyczące między innymi redaktorów czasopisma, nakładów czy instytucji publikujących kwartalnik.
Introduction. “Family Upbringing” is one of the key national magazines in a subgenre of pedagogy, thus the authors aim to analyze it. Aim. The purpose of the article is a multifaceted analysis of the “Family Upbringing” journal. Materials and methods. The authors employed the methodology of analysis and critique of the subject literature. Results. The researchers focused mostly on the contents of the magazine, making the object of interest the articles published in all of the issues of the magazine, starting with issue number one from 2011, up until the most recent one. Thanks to this, the most important matters outlined in the papers were discussed, and the most numerically rich rubrics as well. The article also discussed the history of “Family Upbringing”, using multiple tables with data regarding editors, editions and publishers of the magazine, amongst other issues.

Opis:
Nowadays, the need for digitisation and digitalisation of enterprises, as well as the use of solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), are coming to the fore. The use of intelligent systems in organisations is not a strictly technical issue, and is also important in the management of modern enterprises. The aim of this article is to provide a theoretical analysis of the phenomenon of Artificial Intelligence in management sciences by means of a systematic review of the literature using Scopus database records. Bibliographic analysis of Artificial Intelligence in management sciences in this article points to this topic as something relatively new in the case of management sciences, although rapidly developing. As part of the bibliographic analysis we propose an agenda regarding the issue of AI in management sciences, consisting of thematic clusters related to technologies based on and complementary to AI, the goals of using AI in organisations, human-AI relations and issues related to ethics and sustainable development.

Opis:
Purpose: This study aims to map the development of research on ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics using the VOSviewer bibliometric analysis covering texts published until January 2023. The aim of the article is also to find elements of the economic sciences within the framework of the researched issues. Design/methodology/approach: The article includes a review of the most popular scientific bibliographic databases of scientific texts, namely Web of Science and Scopus, and a structured literature review of the texts. The bibliographic data has been processed in the VOSviewer program. Findings and Originality/value: Quantitative results were presented in the form of bibliometric maps, showing among others the relationship maps between watchwords and the existence of six clusters within WoS and five clusters within Scopus, as well as the presence of economic sciences in the studied area of ecological civilization and its Chinese characteristics. Social implications: The world’s environmental problems and the shared resolution regarding the implementation of seventeen Sustainable Development Goals Sustainable indicate the importance of the topic of sustainable development. China's economic development and its aspirations to become the world's leading civilization point to the need to consider the pursuit of sustainability and civilization together.

Opis:
Purpose: This study aims to determine the current state of research on partner management in the context of IIoT platforms that rely on partnerships to act as innovation engines. Design/Method/Approach (only for empirical papers): The applied research method is a systematic literature analysis supported by a concept-centric synthesis. The sample of relevant literature comprises thirty papers. Findings: The results indicate that only a few frameworks exist to improve and professionalize partner management in the practice and only a few papers focus on IIoT platform ecosystems. In contrast, there are some articles that empirically examine individual determinants of partner management in detail. Based on these results, a conceptual framework is derived to organize and distinguish the determinants of partner management from the determinants of partner programs necessary to realize partner management. Theoretical Implications: The study contributes to the research stream on partner management in IIoT platform ecosystems and enterprise software ecosystems, synthesizing the existing research and highlighting the importance of curated support of partners as a competitive lever between platform ecosystems competing in the same domain. Practical Implications: Practitioners can use the derived framework to structure partner management activities and make more informed decisions based on the structured view of decisions summarized in the conceptual framework. Originality/Value: Due to the critical role of complementary partners in innovating upon IIoT platforms the framework is an important foundation for further research on the individual determinants of partner management in the context of digital platforms. Research Limitations/Future Research: The derived conceptual framework was not empirically validated. Empirical follow-up research could refine the framework and develop it into a taxonomy using systematic procedures.
Мета роботи: Це дослідження має на меті визначити поточний стан досліджень з управління партнерами в контексті платформ IIoT, які покладаються на партнерські відносини та діють як двигуни інновацій. Дизайн / Метод / Підхід дослідження: Застосований метод дослідження - систематичний аналіз літератури, підкріплений концептуально-орієнтованим синтезом. Вибірка літератури складається з тридцяти статей. Результати дослідження: Результати свідчать про те, що існує небагато концепцій для вдосконалення та професіоналізації управління партнерами на практиці, і лише кілька робіт зосереджені на екосистемах платформ IIoT. На противагу цьому, в деяких статтях емпірично детально досліджуються окремі детермінанти партнерського менеджменту. На основі цих результатів виведено концептуальну основу для організації та розмежування детермінант управління партнерами та пов'язаної з ними концепції партнерських програм. Теоретична цінність дослідження: Дослідження робить внесок у дослідження управління партнерами в екосистемах платформ IIoT та екосистемах корпоративного програмного забезпечення, синтезуючи існуючі дослідження та підкреслюючи важливість кураторської підтримки партнерів як конкурентного важеля між екосистемами платформ, що конкурують в одному домені. Практична цінність дослідження: Практики можуть використовувати отриману концептуальну основу для структурування діяльності з управління партнерами та прийняття більш обґрунтованих рішень на основі структурованого бачення рішень, узагальненого в концептуальній основі. Оригінальність / Цінність дослідження: Через критичну роль взаємодоповнюючих партнерів в інноваціях на платформах IIoT концептуальна основа є важливим підґрунтям для подальших досліджень індивідуальних детермінант управління партнерами в контексті цифрових платформ. Обмеження дослідження / Майбутні дослідження: Отримана концептуальна основа не була емпірично підтверджена. Подальші емпіричні дослідження можуть вдосконалити та розвинути концепцію в таксономію з використанням систематичних процедур.

The double review deals with two books by Zoran Milutinović. Bitka za prošlost [The Battle for the Past] (2018) explores the Bosnian nationalist reception of Ivo Andrić in the form of an in-depth discourse analysis. Milutinović points out the biases of this discourse, the unsoundness of its arguments and the unprofessionalism of its reading. Notable among the reactions to the book was a study by Nenad Veličković, in which he argued that the Bosnian nationalist reception was merely a reaction to Andrić’s Serbian nationalist reception. Milutinović has devoted his book Fantom u biblioteci [Phantom in the Library] (2022) to a thorough examination of this claim, in which he takes stock of the critical reception and points out its unfoundedness.
Recenzja przedstawia dwa monograficzne studia Zorana Milutinovicia, które poświęcił badaniu zideologizowanej recepcji Ivo Andrića i nacjonalistycznej interpretacji jego twórczości. Bitka za prošlost [Bitwa o przeszłość] (2018) odkrywa początki i śledzi formowanie się boszniackiego nacjonalistycznego dyskursu na temat Andrića aż po jego współczesne przejawy, do których należy przede wszystkim książka Rusmira Mahmutćehajića Andrićevstvo. Monografia Milutinovicia spotkała się z silną i burzliwą reakcją krytyczną, na którą autor odpowiedział kolejną monografią, Phantom u biblioteci [Fantom w bibliotece] (2022). Ta ostatnia publikacja analizuje twierdzenie zwolenników boszniackiej interpretacji nacjonalistycznej, dla których nacjonalistyczny dyskurs boszniacki jest reakcją na serbski nacjonalizm, czyli na tzw. wielkoserbskie czytanie Andrića. Książki Milutinovicia podchodzą do drażliwych kwestii z dużą ostrożnością, ale nie brakuje im erudycyjnej argumentacji ani dowcipnej ironii w ich starannej analizie dyskursów.

Web Augmented Reality (WebAR) has emerged as a pivotal component within the paradigm of Industry 4.0 technologies. Its proliferation across diverse sectors underscores its potential as a transformative tool, particularly in the context of organizational micro-environments. Unlike traditional Augmented Reality (AR) platforms, which often necessitate substantial financial and technical investments, WebAR offers a more cost-effective and accessible alternative. Despite its apparent advantages, the adoption rate of WebAR remains relatively subdued. This article aims to undertake a rigorous theoretical examination of WebAR’s capacity to address and mitigate crises and uncertainties inherent within organizational micro-environments. To this end, the paper will review WebAR, engage in a comparative analysis between WebAR and its traditional AR counterparts, highlighting the distinctive attributes and potential advantages of the former, and delve into the theoretical implications of WebAR’s utility in navigating organizational crises and uncertainties, drawing from relevant academic literature and theoretical frameworks. By adop-ting a more abstract and theoretical lens, this paper seeks to contribute to the body of knowledge surrounding WebAR. It aspires to foster a deeper academic understanding of its potential applications and implications, eschewing a more pragmatic approach in favor of a comprehensive theoretical exploration.
Web Augmented Reality (WebAR) wyłoniła się jako kluczowy składnik w paradygmacie technologii Przemysłu 4.0. Jej rozprzestrzenianie się w różnych sektorach podkreśla jej potencjał jako narzędzia transformacyjnego, szczególnie w kontekście mikrośrodowisk organizacyjnych. W przeciwieństwie do tradycyjnych platform Augmented Reality (AR), które często wymagają znacznych inwestycji finansowych i technicznych, WebAR oferuje bardziej opłacalną i dostępną alternatywę. Pomimo pozornych zalet, tempo przyjęcia WebAR pozostaje stosunkowo umiarkowane. Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu przeprowadzenie rygorystycznej teoretycznej analizy zdolności WebAR do adresowania i łagodzenia kryzysów i niepewności nieodłącznie związanych z mikrośrodowiskami organizacyjnymi. W tym celu praca dokładnie przeanalizuje WebAR, przeprowadzi analizę porównawczą między WebAR a jego tradycyjnymi odpowiednikami AR, podkreślając odrębne cechy i potencjalne zalety tego pierwszego, oraz zagłębi się w teoretyczne implikacje użyteczności WebAR w nawigacji po kryzysach i niepewnościach organizacyjnych, czerpiąc z odpowiedniej literatury akademickiej i teoretycznych ram. Przyjmując bardziej abstrakcyjne i teoretyczne podejście, niniejsza praca stara się przyczynić do wiedzy na temat WebAR. Aspiruje do głębszego akademickiego zrozumienia jego potencjalnych zastosowań i implikacji, odrzucając bardziej pragmatyczne podejście na rzecz wszechstronnej teoretycznej eksploracji.

The purpose of the review was to find out, does being responsible saves firms from bankruptcy? What is the relationship between corporate social responsibility and default risk? What methods and measures are used in the literature to evaluate this relationship? And what is the theoretical underpinning of the studies? Moreover, to explore what are the gaps for future work, Web of Science and Scopus databases were utilised to obtain the relevant articles for review. A total of 24 articles were reviewed using PRISMA systematic literature review and bibliometrics. This review finds that the liter-ature has an unidirectional inverse relationship between corporate social responsibility and default risk. Moreover, most literature utilises the stakeholder perspective as the theoretical framework. A research gap exists in explaining the relationship between different theories and extending the model with various aspects of macro- and micro-economics as well as finance. This article contributes to the theoretical aspect by classifying methods, proxies, and theoretical underpinnings used in the research for corporate social responsibility and default risk.
Celem artykułu jest ustalenie, czy bycie społecznie odpowiedzialnym chroni przedsiębiorstwa przed bankructwem? Podjęto także próbę znalezienia odpowiedzi na następujące pytania: Jaki jest związek między społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu a ryzykiem niewypłacalności? Jakie metody i miary są stosowane w literaturze przedmiotu do oceny tej zależności? Jaka jest podstawa teoretyczna tych studiów badawczych? Ponadto podjęto próbę określenia luki badawczej dla celów kontynuacji dalszych badań. Bazy danych Web of Science i Scopus zostały wykorzystane do pozyskania odpowiednich artykułów naukowych. Po przeprowadzeniu selekcji, ogółem przeanalizowano 24 artykuły przy zastosowaniu systematycznego przeglądu literatury PRISMA i bibliometrii. Z przeglądu wynika, że występuje jednokierunkowy, odwrotny związek między społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu a ryzykiem niewypłacalności. Ponadto większość pozycji literaturowych odwołuje się do perspektywy interesariuszy jako podstawowej ramy teoretycznej tych badań. Istnieje luka badawcza w zakresie wyjaśniania związków między różnymi teoriami oraz możliwość rozszerzenia modelu o dodatkowe aspekty makro- i mikroekonomiczne oraz finansowe. Artykuł stanowi wkład w aspekt teoretyczny, ponieważ przedstawia klasyfikację metod, aproksymant i podstaw teoretycznych wykorzystywanych w badaniach nad społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu i ryzykiem niewypłacalności.

Over the last hundred years and since the Second World War at the speed of the Great Acceleration, the Anthropocene has been intensively impacting the Northeast of Italy and, as a result, redrawn the Triangolo Industriale, shifting it towards the East, whereby its two prior western cities – Turin and Genoa – have been replaced with the production hubs scattered along the Via Emilia and Veneto. The coastal region has seen the foundation and robust growth of Porto Marghera with its freight, metallurgy, chemical, mechanical, shipbuilding, oil and electricity sectors; the Veneto plain has witnessed an expansion of SMEs; and Emilia has become home to multinational corporations. While not subject to industrialisation, the mountains of the Triveneto have not been exempt from a thorough modernisation on the scale unparalleled in the Italian Alps. Considering these changes, this paper surveys a range of literary works from Salgari to Scarpa (via Albertazzi, Zavattini, Buzzati, Guerra, D’Arzo, Pratt, Malerba, Altan, Nanetti, Benni, Rigoni Stern, Molesini, Costa, Corona, Carminati, Sgardoli, Tamaro, Tessaro and Ervas) in order to establish what role is given to environmental issues by the authors of children’s literature in the Northeast and whether (dis)continuities emerge in the body of their writings in this respect. The paper also investigates which authors present an active sensitivity useful for fostering an eco-consciousness and in what ways they do so. The methodology combines an array of critical tools developed in eco-pedagogical criticism, ecofeminism and the NatCul Matrix, geared to answering a series of questions: (1) Is basic environmental literacy offered? Negli ultimi cento anni, e dal secondo dopoguerra al ritmo della great acceleration, l’antropocene ha intensamente investito il Nord-Est e ridefinito il nuovo triangolo industriale verso Oriente, sostituendo ai due vertici occidentali del passato – Torino e Genova – la via Emilia e il Veneto. La costa ha visto sorgere i settori merci, metallurgia, chimico, meccanico, cantieristico, petrolifero, elettrico di Porto Marghera; la pianura veneta le SMEs e l’emiliana le multinazionali; le montagne del Triveneto, esentate dall’industrializzazione, non lo sono state da una profonda modernizzazione senza pari in tutto l’arco alpino italiano. Di fronte a questi mutamenti quale ruolo viene dato alle tematiche ambientali dagli autori delle letterature per l’infanzia e per ragazzi del Nord-Est? Emergono (dis)continuità in una comparazione di opere da Salgari a Scarpa, passando per Albertazzi, Zavattini, Buzzati, Guerra, D’Arzo, Pratt, Malerba, Altan, Nanetti, Benni, Rigoni Stern, Molesini, Costa, Corona, Carminati, Sgardoli, Tamaro, Tessaro ed Ervas? L’articolo indaga come e quali autori presentino nelle proprie opere una sensibilità attiva utile per la formazione di una ecocoscienza. La metodologia incrocia gli strumenti critici maturati negli ambiti della critica ecopedagogica, dell’ecofemminismo e della matrice NatCul.

Opis:
Śpiączka to zjawisko, które dotyka niewielki odsetek członków społeczeństwa. Jej konsekwencje mogą być bardzo poważne, zarówno w aspekcie zdrowotnym, jak i psychologicznym oraz społecznym. O zjawisku tym dużo pisze się w ramach nauk o zdrowiu, natomiast nauki społeczne nieszczególnie interesują się śpiączką. Celem mojego artykułu jest analiza tekstów naukowych, które poruszają temat śpiączki i jej skutków, oraz wyodrębnienie tematów poruszanych w dyskursie naukowym o śpiączce. Stawiam sobie także zadanie wskazania, jak wiele wniosków o psychospołecznym wymiarze śpiączki płynie z nauk o zdrowiu dla nauk społecznych. Aby zmapować wątki obecne w literaturze, buduję bazę publikacji, którą kolejno poddaję analizie treści. Jak wykazała analiza, wśród wyodrębnionych tematów w ramach problematyki śpiączki i jej konsekwencji znajdują się m.in. tożsamość osób wybudzonych, codzienność po wybudzeniu oraz przedstawianie śpiączki w tekstach kultury. Przeprowadzona analiza potwierdza, że śpiączka i jej konsekwencje to obszar wymagający eksploracji przez nauki społeczne, a szczególnie socjologię.
Coma is a phenomenon affecting a small percentage of the population. Its consequences may be very serious, both in terms of health, psychology and society. This topic is broadly covered in health sciences, while social sciences are not particularly interested in coma research. The objective of my article is to analyze scientific texts on the subject of coma and its effects, and to identify topics covered in the scientific discourse about coma. I also want to point out how many conclusions about the psycho-social dimension of coma are derived from health sciences for social sciences. In order to map the topics present in the literature, I build a publication base, which I subsequently analyze using a content analysis method. As the analysis has shown, the topics distinguished within the scope of the coma and its consequences include, among others the identity of awakened people, everyday life after waking up and the representation of a coma in cultural texts. The conducted analysis confirms that coma and its consequences are a necessary area to explore for social sciences, especially sociology.

Noch weit über dreißig Jahre nach der deutschen Wiedervereinigung gibt es in der germanistischen Literaturwissenschaft in keiner Weise eine Einheitlichkeit in der Begriffsbestimmung zu der nach 1989 in Ostdeutschland geschriebenen Literatur. Termini wie Wendeliteratur, Regionalliteratur, ostdeutsche Literatur und Post-DDR-Literatur bestimmen die Aussagen. Dabei ist auffallend, dass in literaturwissenschaftlichen Abhandlungen der postkoloniale Diskurs über Jahre weitestgehend ausgeblendet bzw. sofort wieder in Frage gestellt wird. In der Aufnahme postkolonialer Verfahren wird in dem Beitrag der ‚dritte Raum‘ in der Post-DDR-Literatur bestimmt, indem die vom amerikanischen Kulturwissenschaftler und Philosophen Homi K. Bhabha geprägten ‚Gegengeschichten‘ in ihrer Bedeutung erschlossen werden, da sie kritische Perspektiven auf Einheit und Vielheit einer Nation sowie deren Postulat einer stabilen teleologisch und hegemonial informierten Geschichtspolitik artikulieren können.
Jeszcze trzydzieści lat po zjednoczeniu Niemiec w literaturoznawstwie germanistycznym nie ujednolicono w żaden sposób określania literatury powstałej po 1989 roku w Niemczech Wschodnich. W wypowiedziach na ten temat pojawiają się pojęcia takie, jak ‘literatura przełomu’, ‘literatura regionalna’, ‘literatura wschodnioniemiecka’ lub ‘literatura post-NRD-owska’. Zauważalne jest równocześnie, że w pracach literaturoznawczych przez wiele lat unikano dyskursu postkolonialnego, bądź też natychmiast go negowano. W nawiązaniu do metod analizy zjawisk postkolonialnych w artykule określono ‘trzecią przestrzeń’ w literaturze post-NRD-owskiej poprzez uściślenie znaczenia tzw. ‘historii przeciwstawnych’ ukonstytuowanych przez amerykańskiego kulturoznawcę i filozofa Homi K. Bhabha, gdyż pozwalają one na krytyczne spojrzenie na jedność i wielość jednego narodu oraz jego postulat prowadzenia teleologicznie stabilnej i hegemonialnie zorientowanej polityki historycznej.
The German unification process took for more than thirty years ago and still there is no consistency in German literary studies in how to define literature that has been produced in East Germany after 1989. There are terms like ‘Wendeliteratur’, ‘Regionalliteratur’, East German literature or Post-GDR-Literature. Postcolonial discourse has rarely been considered by German philologists or has been questioned from the core. By using postcolonial analysis methods my aim is to define the ‘third room’ in post-GDR-literature and to find ‘Gegengeschichten’ the American scientist and philosopher Homi K. Bhabha located in his postcolonial studies on modern nations. The ‘Gegengeschichten’ are able to articulate a critical perspective on unity and plurality of nations and questions their posit of a stable, teleological and hegemonical informed history policy.

Modern technologies provide the optimization, the management, and the automation of the port operation and the logistics processes, hence they create an effective advance which strengthens the port's position among the maritime communities. If it is not enough, they also improve the integration of governing bodies to standardize and harmonize the reporting formalities. Ports have been especially challenged during the COVID - 19 pandemic. The port enterprises, which had dynamically introduced innovative solutions, have maintained their position on the market. This means that innovation is the only way to maintain a high position in the international economy. The aim of the study is to present a review of port technologies, which is based on literature. The article was written in accordance with the method of literature analysis.

Opis:
Change readiness at organizational level is a key competence needed for Industry 4.0 readiness, and one of the most important critical success factors for managers in implementing Industry 4.0 initiatives. Methods: This paper conducts a critical literature review of 184 peer-reviewed academic journals and industry reports from 1990 to 2019, and identifies 30 Industry 4.0 readiness models. Results: A closer review of dimensions from these Industry 4.0 readiness models reveal that change readiness as a model dimension has not been sufficiently addressed. Supporting the conceptualization and operationalization of this new dimension, the literature review in this paper presents six change related dimensions, specifically change commitment factor, change efficacy, change management, individual fear of change, organizational change readiness and change leadership. Conclusion: This study after critical analysis of the literature proposes change readiness as a new dimension for Industry 4.0 readiness models. Furthermore, in terms of future research, change readiness as a new dimension for studying Industry 4.0 readiness models offers valuable implications for individuals and organization.
Gotowość na zmiany na poziomie organizacyjnym jest kluczową kompetencją niezbędna dla gotowości do Industry 4.0 i jedną z najważniejszych krytycznych warunków powodzenia we wdrożeniu inicjatyw związanych z Industry 4.0. Metody: Praca zawiera krytyczny przegląd publikacji 184 pracy podlegających recenzji z czasopism naukowych oraz raportów przemysłowych z okresu 190-2019 identyfikująca 30 modeli gotowości na Industry 4.0. Wyniki: Analiza wymiarów modeli gotowości do Industry 4.0 wykazała, że zmiana gotowości, jako wymiar modelu, nie jest wystarczająco adresowana i eksponowana. W celu wspomożenia zdefiniowania i określenia nowego wymiaru, praca ta na podstawie dokonanego przeglądu literatury, proponuje zmianę sześciu powiązanych wymiarów, w szczególności współczynnika powiązania, skuteczności zmiany, zarządzania zmianą, indywidualna obawa przed zmianą, gotowość na zmianę organizacyjną oraz kierowanie zmianą. Wnioski: W wyniku przeprowadzonej krytycznej analizie literatury, zaproponowano zmianą koncepcji gotowości na Industry 4.0 na nowy wymiary modeli gotowości na zmianę na Industry 4.0. Dodatkowo, w kontekście dalszych badań, zmiana gotowości na zmiany, jako nowy wymiar w analizie modeli gotowości na Industry 4.0 oferuje wartościowe konsekwencje dla jednostek jak również organizacji.

Background: The aim of the research was to acquire knowledge as to how the development of scientific publications looks, while also to specify the scope of research on the area of ski tourism. The research process is concentrated on the following research questions: In what way has the scientific output developed in the field of research on ski tourism? Who is the principal participant (countries, universities, authors, titles of sources) in the accumulation of research in a particular field? Method: In the process of selecting the test sample as a source of bibliometric data the Scopus database was applied. The test sample (N=1500) consisted of publications that contained such phrases in their works as “ski tourism”, “ski hotels”, “ski resorts” in their titles or key words. A general profiling of publications was conducted in order to assess the trends in scientific output and the acknowledgement of the leading co-workers in the field of research. MS Excel was applied for the purpose of supporting the process of analysis and the visualization of results. Results: The analysis indicates that research on ski tourism is one of the aspects of great tradition. This has gained increasingly great interest among academic environments, which led to the breakthrough growth in the number of publications in 2006 indexed in the Scopus database. This publication output encompasses 26 research areas. Conclusions: The principal areas yielding the largest number of publications with regard to ski tourism are to be found in social sciences and science on the environment. The main authors and co-authors in this field are as follows: representatives from the EU and the USA, while the most productive research institution is Universität Innsbruck. The author of the greatest number of publications is Prof. Daniel Scott (University of Waterloo, Canada). The EU is one of the main sponsors.

Artykuł analizuje jeden z komiksów Horsta Eckerta, by pokazać jego wyjątkowość. W momencie, gdy jeden z bohaterów całkowicie wychodzi z kadru, kolejne warstwy jego osobowości są dekonstruowane. Definicja komiksu zostaje podważona. Komiks, często uważany za gatunek pośledni, rodzi pytanie o cele edukacji medialnej w życiu. W kontekście faktu, że komiks jako element preferujący wizualność jest dziś bardzo popularny i zdaje się świadczyć o pauperyzacji słowa pisanego oraz o przewadze obrazu nad słowem, czytanie komiksu Janoscha (który jest komiksem nieprototypowym) prowadzi do wielu interesujących wniosków na temat społecznych aspektów literatury.
