Nowadays, preschool and school children develop, are raised, and learn in a new reality for them, caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Including the assumptions of the connectivist paradigm as a novelty in the didactic activities of teachers, remote e-learning, computer games, board games, e-books, audiobooks, and multimedia programs fill free time and are becoming a way of learning and teaching in the digital age. The literary genre introducing children to the world of the contemporary threat of COVID 19 is the new fairy tale and therapeutic children’s story, thanks to which events and characters struggling with the prevailing pandemic around the world are presented. The purpose of the article is to analyze and interpret innovative proposals for e-books of fairy tales which explain to young children what the coronavirus pandemic is, how to guard against it, what is happening in Poland and around the world, how to behave, and what actions to take to prevent the spread of viruses. In their discussion, the authors emphasize the psychological, sociological, and therapeutic aspects of the presented content of fairy tales, which are most often related to experiences, emotional sensitivity, anxiety, a fear of something bad, an identification with the characters, and overcoming any difficulties in this situation which is trying for all.

Zgodnie z rozporządzeniem MEN zamknięto szkoły, a nauczycieli zobligowano do realizacji procesu kształcenia w formie zdalnej przy zastosowaniu nowych technologii, co dla wielu z nich stanowiło novum. Jak nauczyciele poradzili sobie z nowąsytuacją, z jakich technologii korzystali, jakie wady i zalety dostrzegli w edukacji na odległość? Na te oraz inne pytania poszukiwano odpowiedzi, prowadząc badania wśród nauczycieli w czasie, gdy niemal cały glob funkcjonował zdalnie.
The COVID-19 set a new educational order from day today. In accordance with the MEN regulation, schools were closed and teachers were obliged to implement the process of remote education using new technologies, which was a novelty for many of them. How did the teachers cope with the new situation, what technologies did they use, what advantages and disadvantages did they see in distance education? These and other questions were sought through research carried out among teachers at a time when almost the entire globe was functioning remotely.

The author takes up the problem of education in Italy in the time of COVID-19. The objective of this article is to understand the impact of COVID-19 on the progress of school and the lives of children and adolescents. To pursue this cognitive objective, the author conducted an analysis of the relevant literature published between February 2020 and January 2021, mainly in Italian. The author has also formulated three research questions that will help investigate the above problem. The article is written with the help of the analytical method and takes into consideration the literature on the subject dedicated to children and adolescents. The analysis of the literature allowed the author to formulate final conclusions, which were developed in close correlation with the accepted research questions.

The paper is an attempt to cover some of the issues of using information and communication technologies (ICT) in foreign languages teaching and learning (FLT/FLL) on the basis of intercultural approach. The facilities of Internet along with computer programs, audio and video devices, interactive whiteboards and telecommunications are considered. Special attention is given to the peculiarities of telecommunication projects; the example of telecommunication project realization is represented. The advantages and disadvantages of distance language learning are considered. Besides, some diffi culties that students and teachers come across during ICT-supported language education are also discussed. The subject of this article is the problematic issue of assurance of education quality in the area of humanistic studies, especially towards philology, in which the students, apart from the knowledge in the filed of science, should achieve language skills to level C1. For many years now, distance training techniques are becoming popular, for example using the Moodle platform. The authors make an analysis of the possibilities of applying the above mentioned technique of education in development of students’ language skills and they also review their experiments of many years, to do with the effectiveness of this technique. From the presented analysis it appears unambiguously, that the proposed form of work in a small way fulfills the objectives, and in no way can it replace the traditional forms of work in foreign language lessons, upgraded and supplemented with new technologies.

The aim of the conducted quantitative and qualitative research was to determine the barriers that students encounter when participating in classes taught distantly. The pilot study covered 50 NCU students in Toruń and was carried out in March and April 2020 at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the classes were completely transferred to the distant mode. A questionnaire consisting of 26 open and closed questions was the tool used in the research. The research focused on identifying the barriers faced by students during classes. The students described their needs in relation to the use of communicators and social networking sites by academic teachers, they were asked to describe how they imagined an ideal online lesson. The students drew attention to technical problems, disruption, and problems with access to the Internet. They find it difficult to use many tools (enabling synchronous classes). The research has shown that academic teachers do not have the necessary methodological competence to carry out the didactic process in distant forms. The students stress the existence of difficulties in contacting the teachers; they are often left without explanations or comments with the teaching materials uploaded on the platform.

Dotychczasowe doświadczenia wielu ośrodków akademickich potwierdzają dużą przydatność i rosnące znaczenie technik nauczania na odległość. Dotyczy to nie tylko regularnych studiów, ale także kształcenia podyplomowego, szkoleń, krótkoterminowych kursów, itp. Duże zainteresowanie korzystaniem z tego typu form kształcenia w niektórych krajach umożliwiło powstanie otwartych uniwersytetów gdzie kształci się liczne rzesze studentów. Chociaż w praktyce funkcjonują różne opinie i poglądy na temat tej formy nauczania to jednak ma ona szereg niekwestionowanych zalet i zapewne będzie się stale rozwijać, korzystając z coraz to nowych narzędzi multimedialnych, technik przekazu, szybkiego Internetu, itp. W artykule dokonano przeglądu wybranych zagadnień z zakresu szeroko pojętego nauczania na odległość, przytoczone zostały również przykłady istniejących rozwiązań. Przeanalizowano także zalety i wady tego typu form kształcenia i scharakteryzowano rysujące się perspektywy dalszego rozwoju. W drugiej części artykułu przedstawiono założenia konkretnego projektu, w którym przygotowywane są określone moduły (podręczniki) z obszary geodezji i kartografii. Realizacja zadań projektu tworzy niezbędne podstawy pozwalające na uruchomienie uzupełniającej (w stosunku do tradycyjnego nauczania) oferty dydaktycznej w postaci nauczania na odległość przy pomocy Internetu. Ten rodzaj nauczania będzie zarazem wsparciem dla istniejących klasycznych metod nauczania. Artykuł omawia również pewne aspekty technologiczne istotne dla realizacji ustalonych modułów z podkreśleniem przydatności określonych rozwiązań.
The experiences of many academic centers have confirmed high usefulness and growing importance of distance learning techniques. It concerns not only regular studies but also postgraduate studies, training courses, short training courses, etc. High interest in using such type of teaching aroused in some countries enabled the creation of new open universities, where the teaching concerns large numbers of students. Although in practice there are different opinions and views related to this form of teaching, it seems that the considered form has numerous unquestionable advantages and due to that it will be systematically developed, using new multimedia tools, communication techniques, fast internet, etc. In the paper there is a short review of selected topics from the field of the widely understandable distance learning; some examples of the existing solutions are also included, as well as an analysis of the advantages and disadvantage of this form of teaching with drawn perspectives for farther development. In the second part of the paper there is a short description of certain projects in the frame of which certain modules (e-manuals) in the field of geodesy and cartography are prepared. Realization of the project tasks constitutes the necessary basis for establishing the supplementary (in relation to traditional teaching) didactic offer in the form of distance learning on the internet. Such form of teaching will also support the existing classic forms of teaching. The paper considers also some technological aspects important for preparing defined modules underlying certain solutions.

The aim of the article is to show the process of studying young people remotely and to search for solutions leading to the improvement of the process in the perspective of deep and reflective learning. The article aims to solve the problem: how is the process of studying young people remotely? The method of individual cases, the technique of uncategorized, in-depth interview, was used to solve the problem. In the theoretical part, attention was paid to understanding the process of studying in the light of various didactic paradigms and an attempt was made to outline the approach of a deep and reflective learning process, looking for ways to improve the process of studying young people in this perspective. In the empirical part, the course of the process of studying the respondents remotely was presented, highlighting, above all, the components to which the respondents drew attention in their statements. The analysis of the empirical material shows that the process of studying young people is understood surface, superficially, it is limited to taking actions offered by the university on the educational platform. Students do not use their potential in the process of studying, they do not show full, possible commitment. The analysis of the empirical material leads to the development of practical guidelines aimed at improving the process of studying young people, which result from the assumptions of deep and reflective learning. The research shows the need to focus attention on the process of studying and its effectiveness, the need to take action by academic teachers, and above all by students focused on improving the process.
Celem artykułu jest ukazanie przebiegu procesu studiowania młodzieży w formie zdalnej i poszukiwanie rozwiązań prowadzących do doskonalenia procesu w perspektywie uczenia się głębokiego i refleksyjnego. W artykule zmierzano do rozwiązania problemu: jak przebiega proces studiowania młodzieży w formie zdalnej? Do rozwiązania problemu wykorzystano metodę indywidualnych przypadków, technikę wywiadu nieskategoryzowanego, pogłębionego. W części teoretycznej zwrócono uwagę na rozumienie procesu studiowania w świetle różnych paradygmatów dydaktycznych oraz podjęto próbę zarysowania podejścia głębokiego i refleksyjnego procesu uczenia się, poszukując w tej perspektywie sposobów na udoskonalenie procesu studiowania młodzieży. W części empirycznej zaprezentowano przebieg procesu studiowania badanych w formie zdalnej, eksponując przede wszystkim komponenty, na które zwracali uwagę badani w swoich wypowiedziach. Z analizy materiału empirycznego wynika, że proces studiowania młodzieży jest rozumiany płytko, powierzchownie, ogranicza się do podejmowania działań oferowanych przez uczelnię na platformie edukacyjnej. Studenci nie wykorzystują swojego potencjału w procesie studiowania, nie wykazują pełnego możliwego zaangażowania. Analiza materiału empirycznego prowadzi do opracowania wskazań praktycznych ukierunkowanych na doskonalenie procesu studiowania młodzieży, które wynikają z założeń uczenia się głębokiego i refleksyjnego. Z badań wynika potrzeba koncentracji uwagi na procesie studiowania i jego efektywności, potrzeba podjęcia działań przez nauczycieli akademickich, a przede wszystkim przez studentów ukierunkowanych na doskonalenie procesu.

The main aim of this article is to describe the upcoming challenges of distance learning during the Covid-19. Because of this situation teachers around the globe joined the virtual society in which the primary, secondary and tertiary education takes place. This particular paper presents the analysis of teachers’ statements published on a social network. We also tried to apply chosen theory to the practical suggestions based on our research.
