Tadeusz Kotarbiński never formulates explicitly the project of an intellectual ethics, but we can reconstruct his answer from his Traktat o dobrej robocie (1955; Eng. transl.: Praxiology: An introduction to the Sciences of Efficient Action, 1965) and his ethical writings. Kotarbiński does not formulate an explicit meta-ethics of values, and seems to develop a purely functionalist conception according to which there is nothing more in intellectual ethics than a conception of efficient action. However, he has a theory of practical values and skills that can be applied to the aims and norms of the epistemic domain. But can he secure a genuine conception of intellectual values if these are merely immanent to “efficient work”?

Prezentowany tekst jest rozszerzoną wersją wystąpienia wygłoszonego podczas XXV letniej Szkoły Młodych Pedagogów (Kazimierz Wielki, 12-17.09.2011). Głównym celem artykułu jest próba wykorzystania kategorii Michela Foucaulta do myślenia o nauczycielu. Szczególnie dwie z nich są istotne dla prezentowanych rozważań: parrhesia i intelektualista konkretny. W artykule uzasadniam, że te kategorie pozwalają przemyśleć etyczne zobowiązania wpisane w rolę zawodową nauczycieli i ich odpowiedzialność za sferę publiczną.
The text is an expanded version of the paper delivered at the 25th Summer School for Young Pedagogues (Kazimierz Wielki, 12-17.09.2011). The main purpose of this article is an attempt to use the categories of Michel Foucault to think about a teacher. Especially two of them are relevant to the presented considerations: parrhesia and specific intellectual. The article suggests that these categories allow you to rethink ethical obligations included in the professional role of teachers and their responsibility for the public sphere.

Th e present study focuses on sexuality education as an integral part of the fundamental right to education. It analyses relevant provisions of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and highlights related ethical issues. Study also shows that sexuality education is ideologically saturated and morally charged topic in Slovakia. In this paper we analyse context between social constructions of intellectual disability and sexuality and their implication for sexuality education. We outline some aspects of the right to sexuality education for persons with intellectual disabilities and discuss cultural challenges and related ethical dilemmas from the liberal point of view.

Opis:
Article deals with the problem of termination of pregnancy when the prenatal diagnosis proves the genetically impaired development of foetus. Author focuses on the solution of this issue within ethics of social consequences which represents a form of non-utilitarian consequentialism. Analysis of given issue is addressed especially through the value of human dignity and humanity which function as an axiological fundaments of this ethical theory. Article includes the consideration of circumstances which can happen in this conflicting situation, particularly it addresses the fact that impaired fetal development may lead into various levels of intellectual disability of newborn child and it also discusses whether it would be in accordance with humanity and human dignity to bring such a child into existence.

Monitored area concerned to importance of love, fidelity, safety, sexual pleasure, attractiveness of partner, perspective longterm relationships, reproduction and others as a conditions for the approval or disapproval of sex.

Opis:
The paper deals with saturation sexual needs in people with intellectual disabilities through masturbation. The authors present a partial research findings about masturbation clients in terms of professional social service workers in Slovakia, which indicate their acceptance and tolerance. With these expressions of culture through sex education and enlightenment, however, encountered only rarely. In terms of moral assessment, the author further reflect on the appropriateness or inappropriateness of the behavior. Emphasize the necessity of advising persons with intellectual disabilities themselves and professionals working with these people.

The authors present in this paper psychosexual aspects of the development of people with intellectual disabilities, with an emphasis on sexual development problems and specifics of their puberty, they see the effects of gender and psychosocial factors amplifying the effect of the crisis on the development of young people with intellectual disabilities. Their arguments argue partial results of research sexuality clients with more severe intellectual disabilities in social care homes in Slovakia. The conclusion states that only quality and professional support helps people with intellectual disabilities to live their sex lives freely.

In this paper the authors present different perspectives and different re- search findings on what people with intellectual disabilities expect from the partnership. When assessing sexual activities with these individuals based on foreign empirical findings and present the results of Slovak research. The authors document the interest of persons with intellectual disabilities and for sexual activity sexual nature, but professional staff social service institutions in Slovakia endorse. Research findings also indicate negative feelings about parenthood and sexual rights of people with intel- lectual disabilities. Most equipment does not create conditions for the implementation of a peer sexual life and thus violated the right to freedom of sexual expression sexuality.

In this article we present analysis of partial research result which are connected to differences in attitudes toward sexuality education and men's and women's sexuality of special primary school teachers from the gender, age and religious beliefs point of view. We presents a part of data from research that focused on attitudinal and behavioural attributes of sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities and their socio-cultural and ethical contexts. As a research tool we used part of standardized Attitudes to sexuality questionnaire (Individuals from the general population: ASQ – GP) from authors Cuskelly, Gilmore (2007). We analyze those results, which were not related to preferences in the area of sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities, but were related to sexuality education and sexuality of men and women in general.

Powszechnie zwraca się uwagę na to, że wymiana gospodarcza przenosi się do Internetu – co stwarza nowe możliwości i nowe zagrożenia. Te ostatnie dotyczą personalizacji przekazu reklamowego oraz problemu naruszania majątkowych praw autorskich. Nowoczesna gospodarka w coraz większym stopniu opiera się na wymianie informacji. Wielkie korporacje medialne dostosowują przekaz reklamowy do preferencji konsumenckich. W warunkach gospodarki zglobalizowanej, nastawionej na produkt masowy, pojawia się zapotrzebowanie na produkt „rzadki”, niemasowy, Internet ułatwia dotarcie do odbiory produktu elitarnego oraz umożliwia kontakt handlowy na niespotykaną dotąd skalę. Ponadto, nowe technologie pozwalają na pracę „na odległość”, co zmienia charakter pracy i sposób zatrudnienia pracowników. Oprócz klasycznych form wymiany, w Internecie mamy do czynienia ze zjawiskami takimi jak gospodarka oparta na paradygmacie dzielenia się (sharing) oraz ruchem open source, który polega na nieodpłatnej wymianie zasobów. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie negatywnych i pozytywnych aspektów wymiany gospodarczej w Internecie ujętych w perspektywie etyki gospodarczej.
The new media are associated with new ways of exchanging resources on the Internet. Modern economy is increasingly based on the exchange of information. Business moves to the Internet and that creates new challenges and threats, the latter being related to the personalized ads and the problem of copyright. The large media corporations adapt the advertising content to our consumer preferences. In this context, we are dealing with the problem of trust boundaries related to the exchange of resources on the Internet. Beside negative trends there are also positive ones. The Internet allows you to work remotely which significantly changes the nature of work, such as the change of working time, it also allows you to trade over long distances. In a globalized economy focused on the mass produced items, there is a need for a „rare‟ product. The Internet makes it easy to reach the elite product acceptance. Additionally, apart from the profit-oriented exchange, sharing economy and open source movement also appeared in the new media. This relationship applies to sharing of intellectual resources, things and services. The aim of the article is to present the negative and positive aspects of economic exchanges on the Internet, included in the context of business ethics.
