Opis:
Ocena zagrożenia utraty własności magnetycznych przez magnesy trwałe w maszynach synchronicznych jest szczególnie ważna w stanach dynamicznych, przy stosunkowo znacznych wartościach prądów. Istnieje potrzeba wyznaczenia granicznych wartości prądów, przy których nie wystąpi jeszcze zagrożenie demagnetyzacji w żadnej części magnesów trwałych. W pracy przedstawiono sposób wyznaczania strefy bezpiecznej pracy maszyn synchronicznych z magnesami umieszczonymi powierzchniowo na wirniku, na podstawie bardzo uproszczonych analiz pola w obszarze magnesów trwałych. Pokazano także, że rozkład pola magnetycznego w maszynie może być efektywnie obliczany metodą całek brzegowych, co może stanowić istotne uzupełnienie metodyki obliczeń projektowych.
A risk of loss the magnetic feature of permanent magnets in synchronous machines should be evaluated. It is very important at dynamic state that is characterized by relatively important armature currents. It is need to determine the limiting currents for which the demagnetization does not occur at any part of magnet body. A method of delimiting the special safety zone is presented in the paper. The synchronous machines with permanent magnets being fixed externally upon a rotor yoke are concerned. The first attempt is performed on basis of rather simple one-directional field analysis. It is also shown that it may be improved by the boundary-integral approach to determine the magnetic field within an air-gap as well as in the magnet pieces.

This article presents the innovative model of post-disciplinary scientific research and shows examples of its use. Basing on integral theory and AQAL model – which are results of forty years’ scientific work of American philosopher and psychologist, Ken Wilber, the article describes thesis of Integral Methodological Pluralism (IMP), which is being situated by researchers among mixed research methodology. IMP assumes, that full integral approach upon the phenomenon being examined requires using eight perspectives and eight research method categories associated with them. Each perspective brings relevant partial truth into the integral synthesis. It’s worth noting however, that certain perspectives containing more axiom are deeper and more adequate. Each of the exploration methods reveals a different reality aspect, unavailable for other approaches. The article presents selected research using IMP within education, psychotherapy, gender studies, and leadership, thus showing its comprehensive use across scientific research.
Artykuł przedstawia innowacyjny model postdyscyplinarnych badań naukowych i przywołuje przykłady jego zastosowania. Odwołując się do teorii integralnej i modelu AQAL – rezultatu czterdziestoletniej pracy badawczej amerykańskiego filozofa i psychologa, Kena Wilbera, artykuł prezentuje założenia Integralnego Pluralizmu Metodologicznego (IMP), sytuowanego przez badaczy w obrębie mieszanych metod badań. IMP zakłada, że w pełni integralne podejście do badanego zjawiska wymaga wykorzystania ośmiu perspektyw i odpowiadających im ośmiu rodzin metod badawczych. Każda uzasadniona perspektywa wnosi istotną prawdę cząstkową do integralnej syntezy, choć trzeba mieć na uwadze, że niektóre z perspektyw są głębsze i bardziej adekwatne od innych, gdyż zawierają więcej pewników. Każda z metod eksploracji odsłania inny aspekt rzeczywistości, niedostępny dla pozostałych ujęć badawczych. Prezentuje zarys wybranych badań z użyciem Integralnego Pluralizmu Metodologicznego na polu edukacji, psychoterapii, studiów Gender i przywództwa, ukazując tym samym możliwości jego wszechstronnego zastosowania w badaniach naukowych.

In this article a number of approaches toward ecstasy or ecstatic spirit possession are explored that take a decisively non-sociological approach to the subject. They stress the importance of acknowledging ecstasy and related phenomena not as by-products of social struggle but as actual experiences that are events with meaning and importance in the biographies of those who experience them. Some of these are psychological theories (exemplified by Abraham Maslow), some are theological (Teresa of Ávila), and some stand in between (Martin Buber). These psycho-theological theories contribute to understanding ecstasy and have to be taken into account. Emphasised at the end of the article is the need to reconcile these views with the seemingly contradictory theories of ecstasy such as that of Lewis.

Porównano typowe wiadukty ramowe współpracujące z gruntem do aktualnie projektowanych i budowanych mostów integralnych. Opisano obciążenia przyjmowane w analizie tego typu konstrukcji. Omówiono krajowe i zagraniczne zasady wyznaczania parcia gruntu na ściany podporowe. Zwrócono uwagę na zasady obliczania mostów ramowych usytuowanych w skosie. Omówiono współpracę konstrukcji z gruntem za pomocą pali fundamentowych. Przedstawiono przykład analizy wiaduktu ramowego pod kątem budowy modelu numerycznego, przyjmowania obciążeń i interpretacji wyników.
This paper presented the issues related to the design of reinforced concrete framework bridge. Compared to the typical framework bridges for cooperating with the land currently designed and constructed integral bridges. Described the analysis of the load received this type of construction. Discussed national and international rules for determining earth pressure on the supporting wall. Drew attention to the rules for calculating diagonally located framework bridges. Discussed the structure cooperation with the ground by means of foundation piles. Presented an example of framework bridge analysis for the numerical model construction, taking loads and interpretation calculations results.

This paper presents epistemological discussion about the issues of the management of development of enterprise innovativeness. The aim of the studies is to raise awareness of the complexity, interdisciplinarity and enhancement of innovativeness of enterprises. In this respect, the paper refers to the basics of innovation process modelling, identifying an integrating approach and networking approach, including theconcept of fractal correlations. Indicating the tendencies in the development of the space of global technologies, the paper highlights the importance of global networks of cross-organisational cooperation, global knowledge platform, free diffusion of knowledge and technology, segments of an intelligent market and pro-consumer behaviour.
Opracowanie przedstawia rozważania teoriopoznawcze nad problematyką rozwoju innowacyjności przedsiębiorstwa. Celem badań jest próba zwrócenia uwagi na złożoność, interdyscyplinarność i dynamizację innowacyjności przedsiębiorstw. Odwołano się do podstaw modelowania procesu innowacyjnego, identyfikując podejście integrujące i sieciowe, w tym koncepcję współzależności fraktalnych. Podkreślono znaczenie globalnych sieci współpracy, globalnej platformy wiedzy, dyfuzji wiedzy i technologii, segmenty rynku inteligentnego i zachowania prosumenckie.

The paper discusses problems arising in attempts to accurately represent dynamic processes of an electric arc by means of simple mathematical models. It describes the properties of the universal Pentegov model, employing any shape of static voltagecurrent characteristics of an arc. Next, it presents spectral and integral measuring methods for determining arc parameters in the Mayr, Cassie and Pentegov models of the electric arc with a forced sinusoid current circuit, with the raising static characteristics of hyperbolic-flat and hyperbolic-linear shape. The influence is discussed of the random power supply disturbances on errors of determining the mathematical model parameters.

Artykuł przedstawia fenomen miłości (w tym miłości pedagogicznej) w inkluzyjnym i meta-paradygmatycznym ujęciu teorii integralnej, modelu AQAL oraz Integralnego Pluralizmu Metodologicznego. Na początku Autorki opisują aspekty miłości według podstawowego elementu modelu AQAL – czterech wymiarów istnienia (czterech ćwiartek). Następnie, posługując się złożoną wersją tych wymiarów – Integralnym Pluralizmem Metodologicznym – analizują zjawisko miłości pedagogicznej. Ramy badawcze włączającego pluralizmu wyłaniają pełniejszy, nieredukcjonistyczny obraz fenomenu miłości rozumianego zarówno szeroko, uniwersalnie, jak i pojmowanego wąsko (miłość pedagogiczna, wychowawcza).
The article presents the phenomenon of love (including pedagogical love) in the inclusive and meta-paradigmatic view of integral theory, AQAL model and Integral Methodological Pluralism. At the beginning, the authors describe aspects of love according to the basic element of the AQAL model – four dimensions of existence (four quadrants). Then, using the complex version of these dimensions – Integral Methodological Pluralism – they analyse the phenomenon of pedagogical love. A comprehensive research framework of inclusionary pluralism determines a fuller, non-reductionistic picture of the phenomenon of love both in its wide, universal meaning and in its narrow meaning (pedagogical love, educational love).

Article brings closer the phenomena of pedagogical love from the angle of Integral Methodological Pluralism (IMP), a meta-methodology based on Ken Wilber’s integral theory. At the beginning, authors describe the well-developed version of IMP - Nicolas Hedlund’s spectral model of integral research. Next they introduce some of main phases of integral research. At the end, they describe the sophisticated model – Sean Esbjörn-Hargens’s Integral Pluralism. Pedagogical love is deeply analyzed in the context of described models.

In the encyclical Laudato Si’. On Care for our Common Home, Pope Francis sums up the rich legacy of his predecessors contained in the statements on the ecological question. The Pope’s standpoint actively involves the community of the Catholic Church into the mainstream of the contemporary environmental debate. It seems, that the Pope designates those social phenomena that have a particularly significant impact on the modern ecological crisis. The most important among them are: the intimate relationship between the poor and the fragility of the planet, the throwaway culture, the new ways of understanding the progress, and the proposal of a new lifestyle.
Encykliką Laudato si’. W trosce o wspólny dom papież Franciszek podsumowuje bogaty dorobek swoich poprzedników zawarty w wypowiedziach na temat kwestii ekologicznej. Stanowisko papieża Franciszka aktywnie włącza wspólnotę Kościoła katolickiego w główny nurt współczesnej debaty ekologicznej. Wydaje się, że spośród wielu zjawisk społecznych papież wskazuje na kilka, które mają szczególnie znaczący wpływ na współczesny kryzys ekologiczny. Do najważniejszych należy zaliczyć: więź między ubogimi a kruchością naszej planety, kulturę odrzucenia, nowy model postępu oraz nowy styl życia.

The article aims at presenting the integral approach to the health of Polish education leaders’ (head teachers) in light of Ken Wilber’s map (four classes of factors responsible for health), in the social-ecological model of health. Material and Methods: The Matrix of ReflectivenessDevelopment, an original self-observation schedule, was applied as a research tool. 46 head teachers were examined. Results: The results show that the respondents look after their own health the least. Relaxation is something they associate with mental health, while physical health is not high on their list of priorities. Conclusions: The respondents mainly focus on professional and family lives. Very little focus is placed on reflectionand an integral approach to health. The analysis of research results highlights the challenges that education at each level, including health education, must face.

The consideration was given to the geological and geomorphological factors of natural hazards in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Principal impact of rock lithology, geomorphological structure, underwater regime and seismic processes on the erosion, gravitational and water-gravitational processes formation was demonstrated. The research confirmed a special role of the tectonic factor and the presence of weak zones in the development of natural hazards. Weak zones are characterized by fracturing, brecciation, bedding of flysch deposits and contrast in permeability. The strength properties of rocks decrease drastically within such zones, and large-scale landslide formation processes occur, especially in the case of subparallel location of zones, relative to river valleys and slopes. The factors of hazardous geological processes were defined and classified using GIS analysis and the developed geological model. A conceptual model of landslide hazards in the area of Carpathian Mountains was developed. Weight coefficients of potentially landslide prone factors were determined from the on-site observations and archive data. An integral spatial map of landslide susceptibility was proposed. The results of this research were the basis of geological environment modeling for the assessment of hazardous geological processes impact on the functioning of infrastructure objects.

The article addresses the ambiguity in understanding school culture and its potential research implications. The analyses were embedded within two key approaches: normative and descriptive, illustrating selected exemplifications of theoretical positions of school culture in German-speaking countries. Also, the potential for integration of both approaches into a new model of school culture was proposed by La Tefy Schoen and Charles Teddi in 2008, which terminated the separation between descriptive and normative approaches to school culture.

Opis:
The elasto-static anti-plane problem of a Dugdale-Barenblatt crack in a welded infinite strip is formulated in terms of a singular integral equation (SIE). The weld joint is modeled as a tri-material structure: the weld metal (WM), the base metal (BM) and the heat-affected zone (HAZ). The HAZ is modeled with an exponentially variable shear modulus. The SIE is solved using Tchebychev polynomials. The influence of the elastic mismatching (the ratio between the shear modulus of WM and BM) and width of the HAZ on the fracture load and on the crack propagation is investigated.
