In this paper, we prove the existence of continuous solutions of a Volterra integral inclusion involving the Henstock-Kurzweil-Pettis integral. Since this kind of integral is more general than the Bochner, Pettis and Henstock integrals, our result extends many of the results previously obtained in the single-valued setting or in the set-valued case.

Let \(\alpha\) be a positive real number. In the present paper we present the definition of the Aumann Pettis integral and the Pettis integral of order \(\alpha\) for multifunctions. The properties of these integrals and the relations between them are studied extensively. In particular, a Strassen type theorem in this case and continuation property are proved. Also, we give a version for Fatou's lemma and dominated convergence theorem for the Aumann-Pettis integral of order \(\alpha\) and for multifunctions.

We prove an existence theorem for the equation x' = f(t,xₜ), x(Θ) = φ(Θ), where xₜ(Θ) = x(t+Θ), for -r ≤ Θ < 0, t ∈ Iₐ, Iₐ = [0,a], a ∈ R₊ in a Banach space, using the Henstock-Kurzweil-Pettis integral and its properties. The requirements on the function f are not too restrictive: scalar measurability and weak sequential continuity with respect to the second variable. Moreover, we suppose that the function f satisfies some conditions expressed in terms of the measure of weak noncompactness.

We wstępie artykułu Autorki opisują rozbudowaną wersję IMP - model spektralny badania integralnego Nicolasa Hedlunda. Następnie przybliżają niektóre fazy badania integralnego, by w końcowej części przedstawić zaawansowany model badawczy Integralnego Pluralizmu autorstwa Sean Esbjörn-Hargensa. W kontekście przedstawionych modeli analizowane jest szczegółowo zjawisko miłości pedagogicznej.
Article brings closer the phenomena of pedagogical love from the angle of Integral Methodological Pluralism (IMP), a meta-methodology based on Ken Wilber’s integral theory. At the beginning, authors describe the well-developed version of IMP - Nicolas Hedlund’s spectral model of integral research. Next they introduce some of main phases of integral research. At the end, they describe the sophisticated model – Sean Esbjörn-Hargens’s Integral Pluralism. Pedagogical love is deeply analyzed in the context of described models.

Artykuł przedstawia fenomen miłości (w tym miłości pedagogicznej) w inkluzyjnym i meta-paradygmatycznym ujęciu teorii integralnej, modelu AQAL oraz Integralnego Pluralizmu Metodologicznego. Na początku Autorki opisują aspekty miłości według podstawowego elementu modelu AQAL – czterech wymiarów istnienia (czterech ćwiartek). Następnie, posługując się złożoną wersją tych wymiarów – Integralnym Pluralizmem Metodologicznym – analizują zjawisko miłości pedagogicznej. Ramy badawcze włączającego pluralizmu wyłaniają pełniejszy, nieredukcjonistyczny obraz fenomenu miłości rozumianego zarówno szeroko, uniwersalnie, jak i pojmowanego wąsko (miłość pedagogiczna, wychowawcza).
The article presents the phenomenon of love (including pedagogical love) in the inclusive and meta-paradigmatic view of integral theory, AQAL model and Integral Methodological Pluralism. At the beginning, the authors describe aspects of love according to the basic element of the AQAL model – four dimensions of existence (four quadrants). Then, using the complex version of these dimensions – Integral Methodological Pluralism – they analyse the phenomenon of pedagogical love. A comprehensive research framework of inclusionary pluralism determines a fuller, non-reductionistic picture of the phenomenon of love both in its wide, universal meaning and in its narrow meaning (pedagogical love, educational love).

The author presents a polynomial spline function method for solution of the linear Fredholm integral equation f(s)+K1f(s)=φ(s), where K1f(s)=∫CK(s,t)f(t)dt, τ∈[0,2π], and C is a Jordan curve. The method is as follows: The approximate equation for the function fδ(s) is (1) fδ+K1δfδ=φ, where K1δ=K1Tδ, and (2) Tδf(t)=∑n−1i=0f(ti)Wi4(t)Ni1(t). Here Wi4(t) is a spline function, i.e., a 3rd degree polynomial, and Ni1(t)=1 for t∈[ti,ti+1) and Ni1(t)=0 for t∉[ti,ti+1). The substitution of (2) into (1) leads to the equation fδ(s)+∑n−1i=0fδ(ti)K1ei4(s)=φ(s), where ei4(t)=Wi4(t)Ni1(t), i=0,⋯,n−1. Rozpoznanie tego obszaru jest ważne zwłaszcza w kontekście kształcenia osób dorosłych i budzenia ich motywacji rozwojowej. W dalszej części Autor adaptuje modele badaczy konstruktywistyczno-rozwojowych do edukacji i wywodzi z nich pożądane kompetencje integralnego pedagoga. W konkluzji przekonuje do konieczności kształcenia nowej generacji nauczycieli – liderów z rozwiniętą świadomością postkonwencjonalną, wystarczająco mocnych, by katalizować integralny rozwój uczniów/studentów.
This article describes competencies of an integral teacher in the light of research in the field of leadership. It starts with presenting the development of consciousness in an integral perspective. Recognizing this field is especially important in the context of adult education and in order to awaken developmental motivation. The Author adapts models of construct-developmental researchers and draws from them the desired competencies of an integral teacher. At the end the Author calls for the education of a new type of teacher as a leader with post-conventional consciousness, who is powerful enough to catalyze the integral development of students.

The control system described by Urysohn type integral equation is considered where the system is nonlinear with respect to the phase vector and is affine with respect to the control vector. The control functions are chosen from the closed ball of the space Lq(Ω; ℝm), q > 1, with radius r and centered at the origin. The trajectory of the system is defined as p-integrable multivariable function from the space Lp(Ω; ℝn), (1/q) + (1/p) = 1, satisfying the system’s equation almost everywhere. It is shown that the system’s trajectories are robust with respect to the fast consumption of the remaining control resource. Applying this result it is proved that every trajectory can be approximated by the trajectory obtained by full consumption of the total control resource.

We deal with a class of integral equations on the unit circle in the complex plane with a regular part and with rotations of the form (*)     x(t) + a(t)(Tx)(t) = b(t), where $T = M_{n₁,k₁} ... M_{n_m,k_m}$ and $M_{n_j,k_j}$ are of the form (3) below. We prove that under some assumptions on analytic continuation of the given functions, (*) is a singular integral equation for m odd and is a Fredholm equation for m even. Further, we prove that T is an algebraic operator with characteristic polynomial $P_T(t) = t³ - t$. By means of the Riemann boundary value problems, we give an algebraic method to obtain all solutions of equation (*) in closed form.

Opis:

The present article examines the problem related to the axisymmetric torsion of an elastic layer by a circular rigid disc at the symmetry plane. The layer is sandwiched between two similar elastic half-spaces with two penny-shaped cracks symmetrically located at the interfaces between the two bonded dissimilar media. The mixed boundary-value problem is transformed, by means of the Hankel integral transformation, to dual integral equations, that are reduced, to a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. The numerical methods are used to convert the resulting system to a system of infinite algebraic equations. Some physical quantities such as the stress intensity factor and the moment are calculated and presented numerically according to some relevant parameters. The numerical results show that the discontinuities around the crack and the inclusion cause a large increase in the stresses that decay with distance from the disc-loaded. Furthermore, the dependence of the stress intensity factor on the disc size, the distance between the crack and the disc, and the shear parameter is also observerd.

The paper presents a new modeling method of boundary geometry in boundary value-problems by nu-spline curves. To define a smooth boundary geometry both Bezier and B-spline curves are applied. At the segment join points Bezier curves ensure continuity C1, and B-spline curves allow us to maintain continuity C2. However, the curves hinder boundary modeling with corner points. In order to weaken the continuity at segment join points nu-spline curves are proposed. These curves are combined analytically with the Green formula, thus yielding the Parametric Integral Equation System (PIES). To solve the PIES a pseudospectral method is used. The results obtained for the domains with singular corner points are compared with the corresponding non-singular ones as defined by the nu-spline curves.

We consider integral representations of Feller probability kernels from a Tikhonov space X into a Hausdorff space Y by continuous functions from X into Y. From the existence of such a representation for every kernel it follows that the space X has to be 0-dimensional. Moreover, both types of representations coincide in the metrizable case when in addition X is compact and Y is complete. It is also proved that the representation of a single kernel is equivalent to the existence of some non-direct product measure on the product space $Y^ℕ$.

Volterra's integral equation (which arises from the first interior Fourier's problem) by spline functions of the cubic polinomials. Namely, the approximate solution of this equation is represented in the form of linear combination of spline functions, which are forming the distributions of unity within the segments [0, 2] and [0,t] respectively. The error of approximation we associate on natural way with perfectin of considered distributions of unity. The estimation of the error is given at the end of the paper.

Prezentowane rozważania stanowią próbę syntetycznej odpowiedzi na pytanie: Czym jest pedagogika integralna? Czym jest w swojej istocie i czym jest jako dziedzina realnie kreowana przez pedagogów? Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika, że – w sferze założeń – pokrywa się ona z pedagogiką w ogóle. Przyjęte przez nią niezwykle trudne zadanie badania wychowania w całej jego złożoności oraz jego uczestników w pełni ich jestestwa, generuje potrzebę nieustannego uwrażliwiania pedagogów na unikanie pułapek redukcjonizmu, na przyjęcie humanizmu jako fundamentu prowadzonych poszukiwań. Autorów takich uwrażliwień, którzy jednocześnie zabiegają o ich urzeczywistnienie, można nazwać reprezentantami pedagogiki integralnej. Jest ona kreowana na różne sposoby, niemniej jednak wymaga swoistego postępowania metodologicznego, otwartego na bogactwo stosowanych metod, ciągłe poszerzanie ich katalogu w celu głębokiego poznania procesów wychowawczych i uczestniczących w niej podmiotów.
The considerations hereby presented are an attempt to synthetically answer the question: What is the integral pedagogy? What is it in its essence and what is it as a field actually created by pedagogues? From the conducted analysis results that, in the sphere of assumptions, it coincides with pedagogy in general. The extremely difficult task of researching education in its complexity as well as its participants fully embracing their being in its integrity, assumed in this field, generates the need to constantly sensitize pedagogues to avoid traps of reductionism, to accept humanism as the foundation of their search. The authors of such sensibilizations, who at the same time strive for their realization, can be called representatives of integral pedagogy. It is created in various ways, but nevertheless requires a specific methodological behavior, open to the richness of the methods used, constantly expanding their range in order to get to know the educational processes and participating entities in to depth.

In classical calculus, a function can be derived or integrated as many as natural numbers. Then a question arises regarding the fractional order of derivatives and integrals. There is a development of classical calculus called fractional calculus. Fractional calculus may be a department of science that amplifies the orders of derivatives and integrals into the order of rational numbers or even real numbers. The difficulty of finding solutions analytically for a complicated function of fractional integrals or fractional derivatives often occurs. In this paper, we will solve Rieman Liouville's fractional integral and Caputo's fractional derivative analytically using the trapezoidal rule modification method. Trapezoidal method is an approximation method that is resulted from the linear interpolation function. In this paper, we will find numerical simulations with modified trapezoidal method, to estimate some functions, and the results will be compared with previous research related to the Rieman Liouville fractional integral approximation and the Caputo fractional derivative. The result from simulation find that modified trapezoidal can approximate Caputo fractional derivative by replace α with -α and Quadratic schemes method is the best method to approximate Rieman Liouville fractional integral and Caputo fractional derivative.

In this work the connected thermoelastic contact problem for an elastic half-space to which some area heat radiant is brought is considered. Applying a method of integral transformations of Fourier to system of the differential equations of thermoelasticity and a heat conduction equation, the problem is reduced to system of two two-dimensional integral equations for definition of thermoelastic normal voltages and temperature distribution.
В работе рассматривается связанная термоупругая контактная задача для упругого полупространства, к некоторой области которого подводится источник тепла. Применяя метод интегральных преобразований Фурье к системе дифференциальных уравнений термоупругости и уравнению теплопроводности, задача сводится к системе двух двумерных интегральных уравнений для определения термоупругих нормальных напряжений и распределения температуры.

Bojanowski z jednej strony nawiązuje do koncepcji wielkich teoretyków wychowania XIX wieku, z drugiej tworzy własny, oryginalny program pedagogiczny, który poleca swoim Siostrom do szczegółowego stosowania, od czego uzależnia jego skuteczność. Ta ciągle niesłabnąca skuteczność może stać się inspiracją do rozwiązania współczesnych problemów, związanych z wychowaniem młodego pokolenia.
The article shows the concept of integral education created by Blessed Edmund Bojanowski against the pedagogical views of his era. Ideas of organic work and work at the base, strong relationships of patriotism with Christian faith are just some of the inspirations for the education program still used today by the Sisters in their infant schools. Bojanowski, on the one hand, refers to the concept of great theoreticians of the 19th century education and, on the other, creates his own original pedagogical program, which instructs his sisters to apply in detail, thereby making his effectiveness dependent. This constant effectiveness can be an inspiration for solving contemporary problems of raising a young generation.

Opis:

An electrolysis process method for free-form blade surface finishing is proposed for a free-form surface impeller, and a stepwise method is used to process the inter-blade channel of the overall impeller. The forming cathode is then used to finish the blade to meet the blade processing requirements. In the design, the forming cathode structure was improved by using motion simulation software, and the flow field simulation software was used to simulate and analyze the cathode flow channel. The cathode shape and the electrolyte flow rate between the electrodes meet the processing requirements. In the process of processing experiments, the motion path of the cathode was analyzed and optimized. The effect of the feed direction on the uneven distribution of the blade machining gap was reduced through optimization, and highfrequency pulse power processing was used to reduce the machining gap and improve the machining accuracy of the blade. The experimental results show that the process scheme is feasible and the precision of the processed impeller free-form surface is significantly improved. The material is a monolithic turbine disk of high-temperature alloys, and its large twisted blade processing has always been a problem in the manufacturing industry.

We derive and investigate integral inequalities of Opial type: $∫_I s|hḣ|dt ≤ ∫_I rḣ² dt$, where h ∈ H, I = (α,β) is any interval on the real line, H is a class of absolutely continuous functions h satisfying h(α) = 0 or h(β) = 0. Our method is a generalization of the method of [3]-[5]. Given the function r we determine the class of functions s for which quadratic integral inequalities of Opial type hold. Such classes have hitherto been described as the classes of solutions of a certain differential equation. In this paper a wider class of functions s is given which is the set of solutions of a certain differential inequality. This class is determined directly and some new inequalities are found.

There are many misconceptions about what is called “integral education”. We propose an integral approach to education based on the historical thinking of John Dewey and on the more recent AQAL concept by Ken Wilber. At the centre of integral education, there is a Subject. The paper presents issues related to the application of filtered integral sliding mode control to a two-mass drive system. A classical control structure has been presented and its design procedure is shown in detail. The properties of the classical structure, in which the chattering phenomenon seems to be a big drawback, have been summarized. In order to eliminate this phenomenon, an output low-pass filter has been proposed and the performance of this system has been tested. In order to improve its characteristics, an adaptive low-pass filter has been proposed. The bandwidth of the filter was changed on-line by the fuzzy system according to the current state of the plant. During the steady-states, the bandwidth is low to eliminate chattering effect, and during transients higher in order to ensure the fast dynamics of the plant.

Presented text refers to my previous texts dedicated to integral theory of Ken Wilber’s. In that case I would like to introduce new context in my interpretations and meditation upon postsecular spirituality. These topics inspired by integral theory, especially his last works concerning the dynamics of integral development. It’s only gloss about integral spirituality.

This paper deals with infinite horizon optimal control problems, which are formulated in weighted Sobolev spaces ... [wzór] and weighted Lp-spaces ... [wzór]. We ask for the consequences of the interpretation of the integral within the objective as a Lebesgue or an improper Riemann integral. In order to justify the use of both types of integrals, various applications of infinite horizon problems are presented. We provide examples showing that lower semicontinuity may fail for objectives involving Lebesgue as well as improper Riemann integrals. Further we prove a lower semicontinuity theorem for an objective with Lebesgue integral under more restrictive growth conditions on the integrand.

If 1 ≤ p < ∞ and α > -1, then $L_{α}^{p}(R_{m,n})$ is defined to be the space $L^p{R_{m,n}; [det(I^{(m)} - ZZ^\ast)]^α dμ_{m,n}(Z)}$, where $μ_{m,n}$ is the Lebesgue measure in $M_{m,n}$, and $H_α^p(R_{m,n}) ⊂ L_{α}^{p}(R_{m,n})$ is the subspace of holomorphic functions. In [8,9] M. M. Djrbashian and A. H. Karapetyan proved that, if $Reβ > (α+1)//p -1$ (for 1 < p < ∞) and Re β ≥ α (for p = 1), then $f(\mathcal{Z})= T_{m,n}^{β}(f)(\mathcal{Z}), \mathcal{Z} ∈ R_{m,n},$ where $T_{m,n}^{β}$ is the integral operator defined by (0.13)-(0.14). In the present paper, given 1 ≤ p < ∞, we find conditions on α and β for $T_{m,n}^{β}$ to be a bounded projection of $L_α^p(R_{m,n})$ onto $H_α^p(R_{m,n})$. Some applications of this result are given.

Opis:

The paper is a new approach to the Duhamel integral. It contains an overview of formulas and applications of Duhamel’s integral as well as a number of new results on the Duhamel integral and principle. Basic definitions are recalled and formulas for Duhamel’s integral are derived via Laplace transformation and Leibniz integral rule. Applications of Duhamel’s integral for solving certain types of differential and integral equations are presented. Moreover, an interpretation of Duhamel’s formula in the theory of operator semigroups is given. Some applications of Duhamel’s formula in control systems analysis are discussed. The work is also devoted to the usage of Duhamel’s integral for differential equations with fractional order derivative.

W artykule poszukuje  sie funkcji produkcji pojedynczego produktu w przedsiebiorstwie finansującym szkolenia ze środków uzyskanych ze sprzedazy tego produktu.  Funkcja produkcji ma zalozona forme  równania całkowego Volterry a kryterium optymalizacji jest krótkoterminowa  maksymalizacja zysku, w którym praca jest jedynym czynnikiem produkcji.  W badaniu wykorzystano funkcję Cobba-Douglasa z ustalona iloscia kapitału. Wyniki wskazują, że otrzymana funkcja produkcji firmy jest funkcją analityczną, a wymagana część zysku potrzebna do sfinansowania szkolenia leży w przedziale z określoną górną granicą.
This paper is concerned with deriving, using the Volterra integral equation, a production function for a single product firm financing off-the-job training from its revenue from output. The short-run scenario where labour is the only variable factor of production is studied within the ambit of the law of diminishing returns and the condition for profit-maximization. The study utilizes the Cobb-Douglas production function wherein capital is fixed as a theoretical underpinning. The results indicate that the production function of the firm is a transcendental function and that the proportion of output required to finance the training lies within an interval with a definite upper bound.

In this paper, we deal with a system of integral algebraic equations of the Hessenberg type. Using a new index definition, the existence and uniqueness of a solution to this system are studied. The well-known piecewise continuous collocation methods are used to solve this system numerically, and the convergence properties of the perturbed piecewise continuous collocation methods are investigated to obtain the order of convergence for the given numerical methods. Finally, some numerical experiments are provided to support the theoretical results.

Opis:

We propose a numerical surface integral method to study complex acoustic systems, for interior and exterior problems. The method is based on a parametric representation in terms of the arc’s lengths in curvilinear orthogonal coordinates. With this method, any geometry that involves quadric or higher order surfaces, irregular objects or even randomly rough surfaces can be considered. In order to validate the method, the modes in cubic, spherical and cylindrical cavities are calculated and compared to analytical results, which produced very good agreement. In addition, as examples, we calculated the scattering in the far field and the near field by an acoustic sphere and a cylindrical structure with a rough cross-section.

We discuss and exploit the Carathéodory theorem on existence and uniqueness of an absolutely continuous solution x: ℐ (⊂ ℝ) → X of a general ODE $ẋ {(*)\over=} ℱ(t,x)$ for the right-hand side ℱ : dom ℱ ( ⊂ ℝ × X) → X taking values in an arbitrary Banach space X, and a related result concerning an extension of x. We propose a definition of solvability of (*) admitting all connected ℐ and unifying the cases "dom ℱ is open" and "dom ℱ = ℐ × Ω for some Ω ⊂ X". We show how to use the theorems mentioned above to get approximate solutions of a nonlinear parabolic PDE and exact solutions of a linear evolution PDE with distribution data.
