Corruption is a social phenomenon that has existed since the beginning in all communities, present in everyday situations, and affects the education system. We reviewed the various aspects of corruption in the Amazon education system basing on domination theory. We looked for factors that facilitate corruption in the education system and harm sustainable development in the Amazon. We have also shown the relationships between domination theory, scientific knowledge degradation, and sustainable development. We have identified some options to fight corruption in the education system to ensure sustainable development in the Amazon. We have implemented a qualitative research project under the Amazon Graduate Program to reach described goals. Our research methods included critical literature analysis, case study, direct observation, and content analysis to describe the literature review concepts. Through the Ishikawa diagram's graphic representation, we highlighted the causes of traditional domination and corruption sub-causes that cause the degradation of scientific knowledge and sustainability in the Amazon. The study concludes that the domination in the education system is similar to traditional domination. Corrupt actions can be decisive for preventing the construction of knowledge about Sustainability in the Amazon. The scenario warns of a crisis in the education system. Our findings allow us to suggest significant actions for coping with curbing corrupt practices and unethical actions in the system. Our Amazonian academy findings help reflect the reality of the managers and politicians sensitized with this investigative work.

Opis:
The approach for analytical modelling operation processes of composed and integrated information systems is proposed. It allows to estimate the reliability and timeliness of information producing, the completeness, validity and confidentiality of the used information from users’ point of view. In application to composed and integrated systems the existing models are developed by introducing the space of elementary events for operation processes from system engineering point of view. It is intended for systems analysts for any IS. Some effects are demonstrated by examples.

This research features an overview of the available PLB technologies, their advantages, shortcomings and areas of their optimum application. A test of the locator transmitter emitting both 406 MHz AIS and 121.5 MHz signals was performed with a focus on tracking the homing 121.5 MHz signal. The efficiency of the homing signal was examined by using two separate radio locating systems. One of them comprised multi-purpose and widely available components and programs, while the other was a specialised radio beacon system with dedicated components. In addition to the results, their analysis and evaluation of efficiency, the paper discusses the applicability of the available PLB technologies and provides guidelines for adequate selection of the PLB devices and position indicating radio equipment.

Opis:
The presented paper describes the characteristics of a study conducted on Synchronous Virtual Classrooms (SVCs), virtual spaces which harbour such resources as videoconferences, shared desk-tops, etc. The main objective of the research was to assess teaching and methodological, communication and technological aspects of SVCs in e-learning processes. Empirical methodology of quantitative and descriptive nature was used; a questionnaire was designed to assess these issues with a sample of 116 university students from six different fields of study at the University of Extremadura. As a conclusion, we report that SVCs with a constructive methodology enhance students’ creativity, favour virtual collaborative work, promote critical and independent thought, and create alternative channels to stimulate students’ active participation by means of flexible and attractive interfaces.

Praca dotyczy bezpieczeństwa informacji przetwarzanych w systemie informatycznym CRM, a celem jest scharakteryzowanie istoty oraz podstaw funkcjonowania systemu informatycznego CRM, z uwzględnieniem zasad bezpiecznego zarządzania informacjami zgromadzonymi w CRM. W rezultacie zaprezentowanej analizy wykazano, że CRM to kompleksowe rozwiązanie pozwalające usprawnić procesy zarządzania informacją w firmie. Zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa informacji to najważniejszy warunek wdrożenia i funkcjonowania systemu klasy CRM. W procesie kreowania takiego bezpieczeństwa ważny udział przypada ustawodawcy, który sformułował pewne minimalne standardy ochrony informacji w systemach informatycznych.
The work concerns the security of information processed in the CRM IT system. The aim is to characterize the role and basis of the CRM information system, including the principles of information security management in CRM, which is a comprehensive solution of information management. Ensuring information security is the most important condition for the implementation and functioning of the CRM class system. The legislator formulated minimum standards of information protection in IT systems, which also applies to CRM.

In many companies, along with the economic development, the use of integrated management systems is becoming more and more common, which are subject to evolution in terms of, inter alia, offered functions and new user requirements. The main purpose of this paper is to compare selected ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in the field of production planning and control on the example of the automotive industry. The paper presents the contemporary functioning of the automotive industry against the background of issues related to the integrated management systems used in them. The research part presents the proprietary methodology for the assessment of IT systems used in the automotive industry, which included a user survey. The obtained score allowed to indicate the optimal ERP class system supporting production planning and control.

Pour illustrer les changements et les problèmes posés par la question du développement inégal des connaissances entre les secteurs, nous analysons le domaine de l’éducation. Actuellement, les systèmes éducationnels doivent être des systèmes ouverts, car les activités transnationales et interdisciplinaires deviennent beaucoup plus importantes et la base pour des systèmes éducationnels strictement nationaux est infirmée. L’interaction économique, éducationnelle et culturelle entre les institutions éducationnelles et la vie économique dans différents pays est renforcée. Le contenu et la signification sociopolitiques de ces processus sont ambigus, mais ils suivent la nouvelle institutionnalisation de l’éducation qui est étroitement liée au développement de la société informationnelle.

Opis:
The article presents the issues of costs analysis of iron casts manufacturing using automated foundry lines. Particular attention was paid to departmental costs, conversion costs and costs of in-plant transport. After the Pareto analysis had been carried out, it was possible to set the model area of the process and focus on improving activities related to finishing of a chosen group of casts. In order to eliminate losses, the activities realised in this domain were divided into activities with added value, activities with partially added value and activities without added value. To streamline the production flow, it was proposed to change the location of workstations related to grinding, control and machining of casts. Within the process of constant improvement of manufacturing processes, the aspect of work ergonomics at a workstation was taken into account. As a result of the undertaken actions, some activities without added value were eliminated, efficiency was increased and prime costs of manufacturing casts with regard to finishing treatment were lowered.

Trudno wyobrazić sobie rozwój firmy wykluczającej wykorzystywanie najnowszych technologii do codziennej pracy. Jednak z upływem czasu funkcjonowania danego systemu IT problemy i usterki zgłaszane przez użytkowników zaczynają się powtarzać i kumulować. Jako odpowiedź na to zjawisko autorzy prezentują ramy koncepcji zarządzania zgłoszeniami użytkowników systemów IT, odnosząc się do wyników badań własnych, których celem była identyfikacja typowych zachowań w procesie zgłaszania problemów z systemami IT. W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję zarządzania zgłoszeniami użytkowników, zgodną ze standardami świadczenia usług informatycznych, która ma poprawić funkcjonowanie systemu zgłoszeń i skuteczność rozwiązywania problemów przez wsparcie techniczne.
It is difficult to imagine the development of a company that excludes the use of the latest technologies for everyday work. However, over the time of operation of a given IT system, problems and defects reported by users begin to recur and accumulate. As a response to this phenomenon, the authors present in the article the framework of the concept of managing notifications of users of IT systems, referring to the results of own research, the aim of which was to identify typical behaviors in the process of reporting problems with IT systems. In the following, the concept of user ticket management, in accordance with the standards of providing IT services, is presented, which is to improve the functioning of the ticket system and the effectiveness of solving problems by technical support.

This paper presents the findings of Modified Waterfall Model for Le MaC Wireless Storage Management. The system store users files using offline connection to save all their activities inside the computer laboratories. As a result, the notion of user made it easy for end users v to save their files without a help of a flash drives. Information Technology thus plays a key role in the development of the autonomous learner extends to operators as well as to programmers, which are users of components such as software libraries. The standard provides a framework for organizations to define a quality model for a software product. In doing so, however, it leaves up to each organization the task of specifying precisely its own model. This may be done, for example, by specifying target values for quality metrics which evaluates the degree of presence of quality attributes.

Global competition is setting new rules for the release and sale of products. Success is possible thanks to the introduction of effective tools in modern information technologies, which allow simulation of the process of production and supply, calculate the time spent and eliminate problematic issues with production, etc. Production planning, the first stage of product creation, is possible through the involvement of modeling. Our work aims to analyze the main stages of creating a simulation model in the FlexSim environment, to determine the interconnected impact of different parameters on the work of individual elements and the technological system in general. The automated technological process is considered as a multi-parameter system where input and output are interconnected. Each element of the process can be defined as a separate model, where the input of the initial data takes place, and at its output, we get the expected action that was programmed. The model created is considered by FlexSim as a system consisting of related parameters. The formed complex of optimal parameters in the production process is applicable, in particular, to the construction industry when solving decision-making tasks.
Powszechnie występująca globalna konkurencja wymaga stosowania nowych zasady organizacji produkcji, dystrybucji i sprzedaży produktów. Osiągnięcie sukcesu w tym względzie jest możliwe dzięki wprowadzeniu skutecznych narzędzi informatycznych, które pozwalają symulować proces produkcji, dostarczać dane i obliczać czas na wytworzenie produktu, eliminować problematyczne miejsca w produkcji itp. W przypadku planowania, będącego pierwszym etapem tworzenia produktu, można osiągnąć najlepsze efekty dzięki zastosowaniu modelowania. Modelowanie procesów technologicznych polega na tworzeniu modelu i relacji między różnymi elementami tego procesu w przestrzeni i w czasie. Celem danej pracy jest analiza głównych etapów tworzenia modelu symulacyjnego przy wykorzystaniu środowiska FlexSim. Polegała on na określeniu wpływu wzajemnych relacji różnych składowych na wytworzenie poszczególnych elementów i cały ciąg technologiczny. Zautomatyzowany proces technologiczny jest traktowany jako system wieloparametrowy, w którym wejścia i wyjścia są ze sobą ściśle połączone. Każdy element procesu można zdefiniować jako osobny model, dla którego odbywa się wprowadzanie danych początkowych, a na jego wyjściu otrzymuje oczekiwane zaprogramowane działanie. Model, który został stworzony, jest traktowany w programie FlexSim jako system składający się z powiązanych parametrów. Zaproponowane podejście mające na celu uzyskanie kompleksu optymalnych parametrów procesu produkcyjnego znajduje zastosowanie zwłaszcza w budownictwie przy rozwiązywaniu procesów decyzyjnych.
