The paper presents the results of research on differentiation of the ad- vancement level of solutions and logistics management systems based on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) used in the Polish food industry. The research was conducted in terms of industry, employment size and three market characteristics of the surveyed enterprises: investment level, financial situation and market position. The study used the IAI (Information Advancement Index) synthe- tic indicator and two methods for categorizing its values: uniform across the range of values and based on mean values and standard deviation. The paper also presents the reference of the obtained research results to the productivity paradox of Solow and the results of similar research previously carried out on the level of advance- ment of logistics solutions and systems in the Polish food industry.

The article presents results of a survey concerning Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), which was conducted in Voivodenship Offices in 2014. Survey questionnaires were sent to all Voivodenship Offices in Poland. The aim of the research was identifying in which of the offices ISMS are implemented, according to which standards ISMS are developed and certified and gathering information about factors facilitate the implementation of the ISMS, problems which occurred during the implementation of these systems and documentation concerning information security. The article is a continuation of research on information security management systems in the state and local government agencies.

The article attempts to indicate the direction of ERP class information systems development. From the beginning, these systems have been changing and evolving. Along with the development of requirements and changes on the market, solutions known as ERP II and ERP III were created. Currently, these systems use a process approach. The definition of the structure of knowledge in controlling sub-system in integrated management computer support system is presented in this paper.In the first part of the article, a controlling sub-system is characterized. Next, the formal definition of knowledge structure is presented. This structure can be used, for example, to verify and compare heterogenous knowledge generated by using different methods of analysis. The final part describes an example of use of elaborated structure in practice, related to the operation of the prototype of controlling subsystem in the enterprise operating in the financial sector, which focusses on deleveraging of hospitals.

The article presents the issues related to knowledge management by using the integrated management information systems. The aim of the article is to develop the manner of cognitive agent's perceptual memory implementation. The agents run in the prototype of integrated management information system, named CIMIS, which is used in knowledge management process in business organizations. CIMIS is based on the LIDA cognitive agent architecture. The paper draws attention to the business processes integration with the use of the information systems. Using such research methods as literature study, case study and computer simulation, the authors present how to use a topic map standard for perceptual memory implementation. This is very important module of agent's architecture responsible for proper recognition of an object, categories, activities and events occurring both in external and internal agent's environment. The solution presented in this paper allows for automatic interpretation, by an agent, of the phenomena occurring in the enterprise's environment. It has a positive impact on the process of knowledge management. Since the topic map is an international standard, it allows to achieve an interoperability of different information systems.

In the following work the authors attempt to find the best way to design a dynamic structural model of information management system of moving objects. This structural model allows organizing various management systems of moving objects, considering the spatial and time dependencies between the key components or parameters of the said management system. An example of such system may be a group of UAVs.
W pracy autorzy próbują znaleźć najlepszy sposób zaprojektowania dynamicznego modelu strukturalnego systemu zarządzania informacji poruszających się obiektów. Ten model strukturalny umożliwia organizowanie różnych systemów zarządzania poruszających się obiektów, biorąc pod uwagę przestrzenne i czasowe zależności pomiędzy kluczowymi komponentami lub parametrów tego systemu zarządzania. Przykładem takiego systemu może być grupa bezzałogowych statków powietrznych.

The aim of the paper is to present the current state of cloud computing solutions application in the management of a contemporary business organization. The author outlined such theoretical aspects of cloud computing solutions as its key concept and architecture, and the benefits resulting from its implementation in contemporary companies and enterprises. The article presents the vendor perspective of cloud computing services utilization in business organizations prepared on the basis of case studies, practical examples and an international research review. The research presenting the user perspective on cloud computing usage was based on the opinions of 100 respondents of cloud computing services and indicated the pros and cons resulting from the implementation and application of this solution which allowed to indicate not only its benefits but also its limitations.

Nowadays, information security management systems are important parts of managing a system for better handling of the information security. In scenarios and situations where safety management is done by managing protection of malwares, it is important to manage security issues properly. Cryptography is an approach which makes possible for a recipient to encrypt and decrypt the information. A combination of two different strategies for encryption and decryption in the text encoding will be transformed into the used all content. The encryption and decryption key of the content decryption key is used. There are different types of information. A number, such as finding two large prime numbers with that product. The number, the size of the RSA key is large enough to make, it's hard to pinpoint these numbers. The key, known as the RSA public key, is the most prominent open encryption. Calculations were used for information exchange. In this paper, we created a program for simulation and testing of apply cryptography of Advance Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm with Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) algorithm for better performance. In this study, this program is an application of a new algorithm to be the AES&RSA principle of using a public key instead of a private key for cryptography, and the testing of encryption and decryption for the AES&RSA algorithm resulted in time is no different on the AES algorithm and more secure encryption and decryption. The results indicated that the time needed for encoding and decoding of AES&RSA algorithm has been reduced (i.e., efficiency has been improved).

Głównym celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie nowej, uwzględniającej obecne tendencje koncepcji typologii i kierunków rozwoju systemów informatycznych zarządzania. Analiza źródeł literaturowych i doświadczenia Autorów wskazują, że mimo obszernej literatury na ten temat, występujące w niej podziały i relacje kolejnych generacji systemów nie odpowiadają coraz bardziej złożonej rzeczywistości i potrzebom użytkowników. Prezentowana koncepcja powstała jako wynik burzy mózgów przeprowadzonej na WZ UW i zweryfikowanej konferencji z okazji 50-lecia informatyki w SGH w 2018 roku. W pierwszym podejściu wnioskiem z dyskusji był podział na trzy główne ścieżki rozwojowe, w drugim przypisanie nowoczesnych, innowacyjnych technologii zidentyfikowanym uprzednio kierunkom rozwojowych. Wyniki typologii wskazują na istnienie momentów przełomowych – kamieni milowych rozwoju, wyzwania stojące przed zastosowaniami systemów informatycznych w gospodarce oraz wady i zalety najnowszych technologii.
The main purpose of this article is to present a new concept of typology and directions of development of management information systems, taking into account current trends. The analysis of literature sources and the authors ‚experience indicate that despite the extensive literature on the subject, the divisions and relations of subsequent generations of systems appearing in it do not correspond to the increasingly complex reality and users’ needs. The presented concept was created as a result of a brainstorming session at the Faculty of Management University of Warsaw and verified at conference on the 50th anniversary of computer science at the Warsaw School of Economics in 2018. In the first approach – the conclusion from the discussion was the division into three main development paths, in the second the assignment of modern, innovative technologies to previously identified directions development. The results of the typology indicate the existence of breakthrough moments – milestones of development, challenges facing the use of information systems in the economy, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the latest technologies.

Every large organization has problems coordinating the activities of all the employees. We study the practical aspects of using a main Management Information System , called MIS, to enable management by objectives. This method called MBO can be applied for a large audience, including the widely understood management of a company and consultants (sellers) whose job involves direct contact with customers. This paper presents a study of the phases of determining the specific sets of tasks for the financial year and the principles of their normalization (standardization).We discuss the necessary functionality of the MIS (or precisely - the applications which support the MBO process), which enables participants of the MBO process to create and maintain a list of task definitions at every level of the organization structure of a company.

Opis:
Operatorzy suwnic podczas wykonywania pracy są narażeni na oddziaływania czynne i bierne. Stanowiska pracy operatorów poddanych badaniom różniły się stopniem trudności, a więc też stopniem podatności na stres związany z wykonywanymi czynnościami. Badania przeprowadzono dla operatorów obsługujących trzy rodzaje suwnic: lejniczą, remontową i kleszczową. W badaniach wykorzystano technikę holterowską oraz testy psychofizyczne według tzw. Listy Dortmundzkiej.
Cranes operators are exposed both to active and passive influences during work. Work positions of the operators, who were put through examinations, differed in a degree of complexity, therefore also in a degree of susceptibility to stress connected with the executed activities. Examinations were carried out for operators manning three kinds of cranes: teeming crane, repair crane and ingot mould stripper crane. The Holter technique and psychophysical tests according to the so-called Dortmund List were used.

In this article we have tried to identify security problem for information resources in using aspect of Integrated Management Information Systems. We presented possibility of adaptation some of the methods and techniques of continuity functioning of organization in information security aspects. Maintenance involves a large amount of data management. Although many tools, strategies, and systems, have been developed to organize the maintenance information resources, SMEs have not found the same benefits as large companies due to their inherent characteristics and, above all, the maturity level of the maintenance department. Maturity models are useful tools for assessing the maturity of maintenance information practices; however, existing models are not suitable for any type of business context, as they required companies to have a clear organizational structure and definite informative infrastructure. Moreover, they do not assist in identifying and defining actions to reach the highest level. This paper proposes a model for assessing and improving maintenance management information practices. It allows a clear measure of the maturity of the maintenance information management practices in industrial contexts and provides improvement actions identifying the information and data needed to enhance maintenance management information practices.

Purpose: The aim of the article is to present the evolution of ERP systems and to identify the most important directions of ERP systems development. Design/methodology/approach: The paper uses the classical literature analysis method that consists in identifying the state of the research along with a critical reflection on it (critical literature review). Based on the analysis of the literature as well as the results of reports on ERP systems, suggestions for further development of ERP systems were formulated. Findings: The dynamic development of technology, increased competition in the IT market and changing needs of enterprises will result in the evolution of ERP systems. The article shows the directions of development of ERP systems (verticalization of ERP systems, cloud ERP, mobility, internal and external integration of ERP systems, automation in ERP systems, multimedia ERP systems, process ERP systems, minimizing the implementation time of ERP systems, increased popularity of Open Source ERP systems). Research limitations/implications: The pace and scale of technological change is altering almost every area of enterprise activity. It is difficult to unambiguously assess which of the changes in the IT area will have the greatest impact on the evolution of ERP systems. Directions of ERP systems development indicated in the article are only possible proposals of changes. Originality/value: The directions of development of ERP systems outlined in the article may constitute a premise for a discussion on their further evolution in the digital economy.
Cel: przedstawienie ewolucji systemów ERP oraz wskazanie najważniejszych kierunków rozwoju systemów ERP. Metodologia: w pracy wykorzystano klasyczną metodę analizy literatury polegającą na identyfikacji stanubadań wraz z krytyczną refleksją nad nim (krytyczny przegląd literatury). Na podstawie analizy literatury, a także wyników raportów dotyczących systemów ERP – sformułowano sugestie dotyczące dalszego rozwoju systemów ERP. Wyniki: dynamiczny rozwój technologii, wzrost konkurencji na rynku IT oraz zmieniające się potrzeby przedsiębiorstw będą skutkowały ewolucją systemów ERP. W artykule wskazano kierunki rozwoju systemów ERP (wertykalizacja systemów ERP, cloud ERP, mobilność, integracja wewnętrzna i zewnętrzna systemów ERP, automatyzacja w systemach ERP, multimedialne systemy ERP, procesowe systemy ERP, minimalizacja czasu wdrożenia systemów ERP, wzrost popularności systemów ERP typu open source). Ograniczenia/implikacje badawcze: tempo i skala zmian technologicznych zmienia niemal każdy obszar aktywności przedsiębiorstw. Trudno jednoznacznie ocenić, które ze zmian w obszarze IT będą miały największy wpływ na ewolucję systemów ERP. Zasygnalizowane w artykule kierunki rozwoju systemów ERP są jedynie możliwymi propozycjami zmian. Oryginalność/wartość: nakreślone w artykule kierunki rozwoju systemów ERP mogą stanowić przesłankę do dyskusji na temat ich dalszej ewolucji w gospodarce cyfrowej.

The following part deals with information tools development resulting from the growing needs of their users and increasing technical infrastructure possibilities. At the end, the article presents the relationship between ERP systems and the Industry 4.0 idea and describes the challenges waiting for the information systems producers.

Systemy wspomagające procesy decyzyjne implikują uporządkowanie i integrację zasobów informacyjnych oraz zmiany strukturalne, inicjujące często przebudowę całego systemu zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Wykorzystuje się do tego celu różnorodne strategie i modele informacyjne.
Management information systems are bridge a between decision systems and dependent executive systems, including their closer and further environment. Correct understanding of place and role of information systems in organization chart of entrepreneurship, especially in information society time, where information bomb is a regular thing, becomes on overall task for each organization. Information management systems require effective supply of operational data and organizing of analytical information. Decision support systems implicate order and integration of information resources and structural changes, initiating a system of business management. Diverse strategies and information models are used to achieve above.

In this paper, the authors attempt to identify the universal factors of the effectiveness of selected database models used in Management Information Systems. Selection of an appropriate database model at the stage of design and implementation directly determines the effectiveness of the Management Information Systems within an organisation. The relational database model and database models based on NoSQL paradigms, including in particular graph databases and document-oriented databases, will be evaluated. NoSQL-class database models demonstrate properties in terms of effective application for business purposes.

In this paper, development trends of information systems, information systems technology and enterprise information management were analyzed in the context of Industry 4.0 tools. In the first part (par. 1–2), fundamental definitions referred to the subject were presented as well as historic background of Integrated Management Information Systems. In the second part (par. 3), evolution and trends in ERP class systems, electronic economy tools and Product Lifecycle Management software were described. In the third part (par. 4–5), observed trends in information systems technology, in relation to Industry 4.0 tools, were discussed including manufacturing resources, production objects and novel management strategies approach. Many conclusions were related with actual manufacturing practices observed by the authors.

Zintegrowane systemy informatyczne zarządzania powinny umożliwiać nie tylko przetwarzanie dużych ilości nieusystematyzowanych danych, ale również posiadać funkcje umożliwiające analizę rzeczywistego znaczenia zjawisk zachodzących w otoczeniu organizacji. W niniejszym artykule wskazano, w jaki sposób nowe technologie informacyjne wpływają na rozwój struktury zintegrowanego systemu zarządzania, nowych jego funkcjonalności oraz umożliwiają wprowadzenie nowej koncepcji zarządzania określanej jako big management.

The article presents the usage of OPC standard on all levels of integration of manufacturing management subsystem at the integrated management information system. The structure of manufacturing management subsystem, with taking into consideration MES, SCADA and PLC systems, is presented in the first part of the article. Next, the most often used technological standards of integration on system and application levels are characterized. The final part of the article presents using OPC standard, with taking into particular consideration the specification of OPC Unified Architecture, in order to integrate manufacturing management subsystem on the system, application and business process level. This integration allows the data flow in real time to all subsystems of integrated management information system, what has a significant impact on the efficiency of the functioning of an enterprise.

Autorka przeprowadziła pogłębioną analizę modeli biznesu jednostek gospodarczych działających w sektorze systemów informatycznych zarządzania (SIZ). Jej rezultaty objęły zarówno zidentyfikowanie kierunków ewolucji wybranych modeli biznesu, jak i rozpoznanie ewolucyjnych, przełomowych, a także radykalnych innowacji. Przejawem innowacji było łączenie określonych modeli biznesu lub dokonywanie wewnątrz nich przekształceń. Filarem analiz, który wsparł zrozumienie dokonujących się zmian modeli biznesu w sektorze SIZ, była oryginalna typologia modeli biznesu. Ponadto teoretyczną podstawą badania innowacji stała się propozycja Davili, Epsteina i Sheltona. Z kolei rama konceptualna innowacji modelu biznesu dla zrównoważonego rozwoju, opracowana przez Schalteggera, Lüdeke-Freunda i Hansena, posłużyła autorce do zbadania wybranych sił napędzających zaangażowanie na rzecz zrównoważonego rozwoju (złożonej) organizacji w sektorze SIZ. Wyniki badań są najbardziej użyteczne do: 1) stworzenia całościowego obrazu innowacji w sektorze SIZ i wyjaśnienia ewolucji modeli biznesu grup kapitałowych; 2) rewidowania relacji biznesowych; 3) kompleksowego analizowania i zarządzania efektami zmian.
The author carried out an in-depth analysis of business models of business entities from the management information systems (MIS) sector. The results of the analysis included both identified directions of the evolution of selected business models and the recognition of incremental, breakthrough and radical innovations. The innovations manifested themselves in combinations of specific business models or internal transformations of them. The pillar of the analyses that supported the understanding of ongoing changes of business models in the MIS sector was the original typology of business models. In addition, the proposal by Davila, Epstein and Shelton was used as the theoretical basis for the study of innovations. In turn, the conceptual framework of business model innovation for sustainability developed by Schaltegger, Lüdeke-Freund and Hansen was used by the author to examine selected drivers for sustainability engagement for a (complex) organisation in the MIS sector. The research findings are the most useful for: 1) creating a global picture of innovations in the MIS sector and explaining the evolution of business models of enterprise groups; 2) revising business relationships; and 3) comprehensive analysis and management of the effects of changes.

The systems have revolutionized practically all aspects of business processes in enterprises. They improve the processes by ensuring their integration. Data are entered into an ERP system only once and immediately afterwards they can be accessed through any of its modules, which makes them a valuable source of information on the enterprise. Integrating the financial and non-financial data, an ERP package gives new quality to the management of enterprise value. These features make ERPs particularly useful for management accounting processes and for specialists providing management information. This article seeks to answer whether following the implementation of an ERP package the enterprise’s management accounting system becomes more innovative and whether new, modern management accounting tools and methods are introduced. The ERP impacts on management accounting and its practices will be evaluated using six case studies involving enterprises owned by multinational corporations.

Opis:
The measure of availability that is often used to compare the dependability of computer-based systems is imperfect, insofar as two systems with the same availability can display quite different performance characteristics. Here we develop a new fractal temporal measure for work effort that offers insights into a system’s performance not captured by the traditional availability measure. Moreover, we show that this fractal measure can be used to compare the temporal work patterns of both human and artificial agents and identify their unique strengths and weaknesses. Such new comparative tools will become increasingly important as the development of more sophisticated artificial agent technologies creates situations in which particular functions within an organization can be carried out either by human or artificial personnel.

Th is will not only ensure the eff ectiveness of making managerial decisions in the activities of the enterprise, and as a consequence will be a guarantee of the development of the country’s economy. Discussion Th e development of the world economy is greatly infl uenced by the dynamic development of the world market of information systems and technologies, as the introduction of new information systems and technologies makes it possible to increase the effi ciency of using enterprise resources, optimize business processes of production, facilitate the exchange of information, and much more. Th e use of information systems and technologies by enterprises in their work allows solving tasks from operational management to improving the eff ectiveness of making managerial decisions.

In the management of a modern organization Information Technology takes a special place, as to a large degree information circulation is possible and carried out just through its use. Taking advantage of Information Technology becomes a necessity forced by the environment of an organization―starting with a compulsory clearance performed partly electronically and finishing with the need of having e-mail addresses and web pages of a company being essential from the marketing point of view. Used information technologies, and related to them procedures as well as change processes do not depend on the fact that we deal with an economic or non-economic organization, a production company, a company providing services or a non-profit company. The aim of the article is to show the case study of a hospital, where the process of creating and implementing information technology has been described as an example, and creating an information system which supports the process of managing this institution.

The Covid-19 pandemic has acknowledged the importance of educational management information systems (EMIS) for quality management (QM) in higher education and set new directions for post-pandemic studies. Successful implementation of QM, however, processes depends mainly on lecturers' perceptions about quality and educational technology. However, higher education lecturers’ profiles regarding these quality perceptions and their commitment to technology acceptance must be investigated more. The aim of research is to analyse the relationship between Education Management Information System (EMIS) and Quality Management (QMAS) to lecturers' Continuance Commitment (CC). In response to this research gap, the researchers identified such profiles using a quantitative survey of 534 lecturers from Indonesian higher education institutions. A seven-point Likert scale was used to measure the respondents' expectations or expression of their perceived experience on all indicators used in the study. The data analyses were descriptive analysis and factor analysis. Based on the seminal work of Roger's diffusion of innovations, technology enthusiasts, visionaries, pragmatists, conservatives and sceptics remain valid in the organisation, and the uptake of educational management information systems is still in the hands of technology enthusiasts and visionaries. Quality management and EMIS acceptance are critical factors that make lecturers willing to continue using the system to support accreditation. These profiles will enable customised training in the recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Pandemia Covid-19 potwierdziła znaczenie systemów informacyjnych zarządzania edukacją (Education Management Information Systems - EMIS) dla zarządzania jakością (Quality Management - QM) w szkolnictwie wyższym i wyznaczyła nowe kierunki badań post-pandemicznych. Pomyślne wdrożenie zarządzania jakością zależy głównie od postrzegania jakości i technologii edukacyjnych przez wykładowców. Należy także dokładniej zbadać profile wykładowców szkolnictwa wyższego w zakresie postrzegania jakości i ich zaangażowania w akceptację technologii. Celem badania jest analiza związku między Systemem Informacji o Zarządzaniu Edukacją (EMIS) a Zarządzaniem Jakością (QMAS) w odniesieniu do ciągłego zaangażowania wykładowców (Continuance Commitment - CC). W odpowiedzi na tę lukę badawczą naukowcy zidentyfikowali takie profile za pomocą ankiety ilościowej przeprowadzonej wśród 534 wykładowców z indonezyjskich instytucji szkolnictwa wyższego. Siedmiostopniowa skala Likerta została wykorzystana do pomiaru oczekiwań respondentów lub wyrażenia ich postrzeganego doświadczenia we wszystkich wskaźnikach wykorzystanych w badaniu. Analizy danych obejmowały analizę opisową i analizę czynnikową. W oparciu o przełomową pracę Rogera na temat dyfuzji innowacji, entuzjaści technologii, wizjonerzy, pragmatycy, konserwatyści i sceptycy pozostają ważni w organizacji, a absorpcja systemów informatycznych zarządzania edukacją jest nadal w rękach entuzjastów technologii i wizjonerów. Zarządzanie jakością i akceptacja EMIS są krytycznymi czynnikami, które sprawiają, że wykładowcy chcą nadal korzystać z systemu w celu wspierania akredytacji. Profile te umożliwią zindywidualizowane szkolenia w zakresie odbudowy po pandemii Covid-19.

The article presents a computer algorithm to calculate the estimated operating cost analysis rail bus. This computer application system compares the cost of employment locomotive and wagon, the cost of using locomotives and cost of using rail bus. An intensive growth of passenger railway traffic increased a demand for modern computer systems to management means of transportation. Described computer application operates on the basis of selected operating parameters of rail buses.

Knowledge Management (KM) constitutes an integral part of the business world in contemporary times. This can be seen at a time of analyzing the modern literature of business, management, technology as well as organization. This worker views and interprets KM literature in enterprises. The main aim of the research is to summarize literature on the subject of Knowledge Management (KM) and to get the sense of the primary concepts/common terms, conventional definitions in the area of knowledge and Knowledge Management (KM).This work constitutes a profound overview on the process of the management of organizational knowledge with great focus put on the possible part of IT in the different phases of the process of knowledge management. The author chose this subject as not much research has been carried out to analyze this side of KM.

Dokonujący się we współczesnym świecie postęp w zakresie technologii informacyjnych nasuwa pytania, jak będzie wyglądało zarządzanie w przyszłości oraz w jakim stopniu praca osób zarządzających będzie wspomagana i zastępowana narzędziami informatycznymi, ułatwiającymi wytyczanie właściwych strategii i podejmowanie najbardziej racjonalnych decyzji. Ważną kwestią dla rozwoju przedsiębiorstw jest również umiejętność i możliwość wykorzystania zdobyczy współczesnych technologii oraz zastosowania ich w procesach zarządzania organizacją W artykule poruszono zagadnienia dotyczące znaczenia wykorzystania narzędzi informatycznych w zarządzaniu, zwracając szczególną uwagę na bariery ich wprowadzania w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach. Wnioski w tym zakresie wyciągnięte zostały na podstawie analizy danych statystycznych GUS, dotyczących wykorzystania technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych w przedsiębiorstwach. Posłużono się również studium przypadku do oceny poziomu wykorzystania narzędzi informatycznych w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym oraz identyfikacji barier w tym zakresie.
The progress in the area of information technologies seen in the contemporary world raises questions about the future shape of management and to what extent the work of executives will be assisted and replaced by IT tools facilitating design of appropriate strategies and taking of the most rational decisions. An important issue for the development of businesses is also skill and ability to take advantage of modern technologies and apply them in the management processes of an organization. The article addresses issues concerning the significance of IT tools utilization in management, with particular regard to the barriers to their implementation in small and medium enterprises. Conclusions in this respect were drawn on the basis of analysis of GUS statistical data related to the use of information and communication technologies in businesses. A case study was also used to assess the level of implementation of IT tools in a manufacturing enterprise and to identify barriers in this regard.

Celem artykułu jest analiza możliwości wykorzystania podejścia kontekstowego w rozwoju zintegrowanych systemów informatycznych, które są zazwyczaj postrzegane z perspektywy obsługiwanych przez nie modułów, ale praca z nimi wymaga zastosowania podejścia procesowego. Uzupełnienie procesu o kontekst przeznaczony dla pracownika na danym stanowisku sprzyja zwiększeniu efektywności jego pracy. Użytkownik rozumie jak przebiega proces i jaki ma wpływ praca, którą wykonuje, na inne obszary w firmie. Podejście kontekstowe pozwala dostrzec korzyści, jakich dostarczają sprawnie przebiegające procesy. Kontekstowe spojrzenie na zintegrowany system informatyczny i eksploracja procesów ze względu na różne konteksty sprzyja wzrostowi efektywności wykorzystania zasobów firmy. Odkrywa wzorce dla integracji zasobów wiedzy w organizacji.
The aim of this article is to analyse the possibilities of using the contextual approach in the development of Integrated Management Information Systems (IMIS). IMIS are usually seen from the perspective of their modules, but working with them requires to use the process approach. Supplementing the process connected with a context of the employee contributes in increasing of the effectiveness of work. A user of IMIS understands how the process continues and how his work which he performs, has an influence on other areas of the company. Contextual approach allows to notice the benefits provided by smoothly running processes. Contextual approach allows look at the integrated system and exploration of process due to the different contexts conducive to the growth of efficiency in the use of company resources. It explores patterns for the integration of knowledge in the organization.

Opracowanie zostało przygotowane na podstawie przeglądu literatury. Analiza artykułów publikowanych w czasopismach naukowych z obszarów zarządzania i rachunkowości pozwoliła na wskazanie najważniejszych kierunków zmian w modelach działalności podmiotów gospodarczych, systemach zarządzania oraz wspomagających je rozwiązaniach informacyjnych z zakresu rachunkowości.
The aim of the paper is to present changes in the area of management and accounting, currently undergoing and expected in the future as a result of Big Data development. The study was prepared on the basis of a literature review. Analysis of articles published in scientific management and accounting journals allowed to identify the most important directions of changes in the business models, management systems as well as accounting solutions.

The first one is dedicated for stakeholders of inland shipping and waterways users, while the second one is commonly used by publicity for viewing spatial information. Thus, both systems provide spatial data, however, they are dedicated for different groups of users. The paper addressed the problem whether both systems could collaborate technologically. The scope of data processed in systems, as well as the set of offered services are described and compared. Finally, the concept of data integration and interoperability of services is presented.
Usługi informacji rzecznej (RIS) są odpowiedzialne za zbieranie, przetwarzanie, przechowywanie i zarządzanie danymi z wielu różnych źródeł. Dane gromadzone są przez specjalistyczne urządzenia pomiarowe, pomiary terenowe oraz podmioty zewnętrzne. Wszystkie usługi mają na celu poprawę bezpieczeństwa żeglugi śródlądowej i skupiają się wokół danych hydrometeorologicznych oraz danych przestrzennych, niezbędnych do opracowywania elektronicznej mapy nawigacyjnej. Infrastruktura informacji przestrzennej SDI pozwala na gromadzenie i wykorzystywanie danych z różnych źródeł przez różne podmioty w celu uniknięcia redundancji w pozyskiwaniu danych. Obecnie obydwa systemy w Polsce funkcjonują jako niezależne. Przedstawiona w artykule koncepcja integracji danych systemu RIS oraz infrastruktury informacji przestrzennej SDI prezentuje możliwości wykorzystania danych gromadzonych przez oba systemy. Autorzy poddali analizie wdrożone usługi informacji rzecznej RIS na Dolnej Odrze oraz wdrożoną koncepcję SDI w Polsce. Ponadto przedstawili wspólne obszary gromadzonych i wykorzystywanych danych, określonych według tematów INSPIRE, jak: ukształtowanie terenu (batymetria), warunki meteorologiczno-geograficzne oraz hydrografia. W artykule zaproponowano możliwości integracji danych, a także teoretyczne i metodologiczne ramy ich wymiany. W celu uniknięcia redundancji proponuje się obustronną wymianę danych pomiędzy systemami. Dodatkowo w celu określenia zasad integracji przeanalizowano modele danych, usługi oraz architekturę systemów SDI oraz RIS. Dane gromadzone w ramach usług informacji rzecznej RIS mogą stać się uzupełnieniem dla tematów zidentyfikowanych w ramach usług INSPIRE, zapewniając tym samym lepszy dostęp do danych innym podmiotom.

Zadania, jakie współczesne życie gospodarcze stawia przed kierownictwem firm i przedsiębiorstw są coraz trudniejsze. Na szczeblu zarządzania operacyjnego i taktycznego zadania te są obecnie ułatwia-ne przez technikę komputerową. Cyfrowe gromadzenie danych i ich przetwarzanie zdecydowanie ułatwia pracę kierowników poszczególnych zespołów pracowników albo całych działów. Dostępne są hurtownie danych oraz oprogramowanie typu DSS i OLAP, służące do bieżącego wspomagania proce-sów podejmowania decyzji. Dziś nikt sobie nie wyobraża, że mogłoby ich nie być! Jednak te wygodne i przydatne narzędzia informatyczne przestają wystarczać na wyższych szczeblach zarządzania. Dyrektorom i prezesom realizującym określoną politykę ekonomiczną poprzez zarządzanie firmą na poziomie strategicznym potrzebne są narzędzia dostarczające wie-dzy, a nie danych czy informacji. Na tym etapie samo gromadzenie faktów ekonomicznych i ich analiza nie wystarczają. Niewystarczające są też oferowane przez współczesne komputery typowe narzędzia analityczne, pozwalające śledzić związki między danymi i obserwować trendy. W artykule jest mowa o nowych generacjach systemów informatyki gospodarczej, w których komputer może nie tylko badać i analizować formę informacji (na przykład konkretne wartości wskaźników, ich wzajemne relacje i zmiany), ale potrafi także zrozumieć znaczenie tych informa-cji. Podstawą do budowy tej nowej generacji systemów wspomagających zarządzanie musi być jednak nie tradycyjna informatyka, ale kognitywistyka. W pracach autora i współpracowników systemy te nazwano UBMSS (Understanding Based Managing Support Systems) dla odróżnienia ich od innych klas systemów przetwarzania i analizy danych. W treści opracowania pokazano, jak takie systemy mogą być budowane i jak mogą działać.
Tasks, which have to be faced by the managers of companies, become more challenging. At the operational level, these tasks become easier because of computer technologies. Digital collec-tion and processing data have facilitated the work of managers of various employee’s groups and departments. Available data Warehouses, DSS and OLAP software are aimed at supporting deci-sion process within a company. It is hard to imagine managerial life without them. However, these convenient and helpful IT tools are insufficient on the highest management levels. Managers and CEOs, responsible for a given economic policy through management of company at a strategic level, need tools that provide knowledge, not only the data and information. At this level, collection and analysis of economic facts are not enough. Moreover, the typical analytical solutions provided by the modern hardware that monitor the relations between data and observable trends, are inadequate. The lecture proposes the new generation of economic computer technologies, in which the computer can not only investigate the form of information (for instance: specific indicator values, their relations and changes), but understand the meaning of this information as well. The starting point in developing of these new generation of management supporting systems has to be the cognitivism instead of traditional computer science. In the authors’ papers his associates, these systems have been called the UBMSS (Understanding Based Managing Support Systems), to be distinguished from other classes of data processing and analyzing systems. The lecture highlights how these systems can be constructed and operated.

Introduction and objective. The healthcare system is positioned in the patient’s environment and works with other determinants of the treatment. Patient care requires a whole system compatible to the needs of organizational and technical solutions. The purpose of this study is to present a new model of patient-oriented care, in which the use of information and communication technology (ICT) can improve the effectiveness of healthcare for patients with chronic diseases. Material and methods. The study material is the process of healthcare for chronically ill patients. Knowledge of the circumstances surrounding ecosystem and of the patients’ needs, taking into account the fundamental healthcare goals allows us to build a new models of care, starting with the economic assumptions. The method used is modeling the construction of efficient healthcare system with the patient-centered model using ICT tools. Results. We present a new systemic concept of building patient’s environment in which he is the central figure of the healthcare organization – so called patient centered system. The use of ICT in the model of chronic patient’s healthcare can improve the effectiveness of this kind of care. The concept is a vision to making wide platform of information management in chronic disease in a real environment ecosystem of patient using ICT tools. Conclusions. On the basis of a systematic approach to the model of chronic disease, and the knowledge of the patient itself, a model of the ecosystem impacts and interactions through information feedback and the provision of services can be constructed. ICT assisted techniques will increase the effectiveness of patient care, in which nowadays information exchange plays a key role.
