    The efficiency of lactic acid solutions nanofiltration with dynamically formed zirconium (IV) hydrous oxide polyacrylate (ZrIV/PAA) membranes application were considered in this paper. The results of investigations on flux decline in nanofiltration of lactic acid solutions under conditions resulting in low and high lactic acid rejection are reported. In the long term experimental research on pressure driven membrane processes the main reason of permeate flux reduction is an accumulation of concentration polarization and fouling effects. The experimental permeate flux versus time curves were analyzed in the frame of resistance-in-series model with the aim to develop the characteristic fouling and concentration polarization resistances. The analysis of experimental data and results of calculations showed that both: concentration polarization and fouling phenomena in investigated system depend on hydrodynamic conditions and properties of filtered solutions and (ZrIV/PAA) membrane.

    Opis:
    Non-point source pollution is a primary cause for concern globally. Various models have been developed to tackle this situation with much emphasis placed on best management practices. This practice has, however, proven to be insufficient to solve the NPS pollution situation. Existing non-point source models are watershed- -based and complicated both in operation, parameter estimation and data requirements. A non-point source model is proposed using the concept of the Hybrid Cells in Series model. The model is a three-parameter model made up of three zones, which describes pure advection through time delay in a plug zone, with combined advection and dispersion occurring when the other two zones are considered as thoroughly mixed. The proposed model is tested using synthetic data and field data from the Snake River, Colorado, USA, obtained from literature. Simulations were performed at four sample points; two from the tracer injection point along the Snake River before a confluence and two further downstream after the confluence. A regression analysis was carried out to determine the model’s capability to simulate pollutant transport for the four sampling points. The coefficients of determination are 0.98, 0.94, 0.84 and 0.97 while the standard error for each reach is 2.28E-2, 2.70E-2, 2.32E-2 and 9.35E-3 respectively. The results show good agreement between the measured and the simulated data. The response of the C-t profiles produced by the proposed model for both synthetic and field data demonstrates its ability to effectively simulate pollutant transport in natural rivers subject to non-point source pollution.

    The boiler is an enclosed vessel that transfers the energy from fuel combustion or electricity into hot water or steam. Then, this hot water or pressurized steam is used for transferring the heat to a certain heat process. Usually, the required hot water or steam keeps on varying throughout the day which also may be implied on the daily or monthly load. Therefore, several configurations of connecting the boiler into the solar heating system ensure the temperature of the final output. The boiler can be connected in series or parallel to improve the efficiency of the overall process as well as to reduce the running costs. This paper presents a simulation study of a solar heating system for industrial processes. Two flow-heater system configurations are designed for covering the heat demand of a pasteurising factory existing in Budapest, Hungary. The configuration “A” consists of a solar heating system for hot water preparation using in series flow heater configuration. While configuration “B” consists of the same solar system but with a parallel flow heater configuration. These system configurations are modelled using T*sol software for evaluating the system performance under the Hungarian climate from five different aspects: required collector area, glycol ratio, volume flow rate, relative tank capacity, and tank height-to-diameter ratio. According to the optimum design parameters, in series configuration is better than parallel by 3.14% at 45 m² collector area, 0.45% at 25% glycol ratio, 0.42% at 50 l/h · m² volume flow rate, 2.05% at 50 l/m² relative tank capacity, and 0.42% at 1.8 tank height-to-diameter ratio respectively. The results show that in series configuration is better in terms of solar fractions than parallel configuration from all five aspects.

The algorithm of expanding functions in the series by Legendre polynomials has been elaborated in the paper. Material and methods: The selected knowledge about Legendre polynomials have been taken from the right literature. The analytical method has been used in this paper. Results: Has been shown the theorem describing expanding functions in a series by using Legendre polynomials. It have been shown selected examples of expanding functions in a series by applying Legendre polynomials. Conclusion: The function f(z) can be expand in the interval ‹-1,1› in a series according to Legendre polynomials where the unknown coefficients can be determined using the method of undetermined coefficients.

Materiał i metody: Wybrane wiadomości o wielomianach Legendre’a zaczerpnięto z literatury przedmiotu. W pracy zastosowano metodę analityczną. Wyniki: W pracy pokazano twierdzenie dotyczące rozwijania funkcji w szereg według wielomianów Legendre’a.     W publikacji przedstawiono wyniki badań doświadczalnych procesu ultrafiltracji modelowych i przemysłowych solanek z zastosowaniem membran ceramicznych 150 kDa. Głównym celem badań była analiza wpływu dwóch podstawowych parametrów operacyjnych, stężenia chlorku sodu w nadawie i ciśnienia transmembranowego TMP m fouling badanej membrany ceramicznej Al2O3/TiO2/ZrO2.
    Results of ultrafiltration studies using ceramic 150 kDa membrane and model solutions containing bovine serum albumin and sodium chloride as well as salted wastewater from fish industry are reported. A main objective of this work was to study the effect of two main operating parameters, i.e. sodium chloride concentration in feed solution and transmembrane pressure, TMP, on fouling behavior of ceramic Al2O3/TiO2/ZrO2. membrane during ultrafiltration tests.

    The Mole (Krtek) was produced in the years 1957–2002 by Czech studio Bratři v triku. All episodes were directed by Zdeněk Miler (1921–2011), creator of the title character. The series achieved a global success (it was presented in eighty-five countries), and the title character found its permanent place not only in the children’s culture, but also in pop culture in general. This article presents the observations about the music in Krtek which were gathered by the analysis of The Mole episodes produced before 1991 (Perestroika) — the essay is a part of a wider research on music in children’s animated films produced in the Central and Eastern Europe in the era of the USSR. The musical analysis is carried out using the descriptive method. The author describes the selected, representative parts of the film including the accompanying soundtrack, to present the most interesting solutions applied in the films developed by the four composers: Jaroslav Křička (1882–1969), William Bukový (1932–1968), Miloš Vacek (1928–2012) and Vadim Petrov (1932–). They have created the soundtracks rich in grasping musical ideas, at the same time referring more than once to a variety of styles and genres. However, the most common is the neoclassical aesthetics, and manifested in its two variants popular in the communist Europe — i.e. the archaic and folklore-like. The music of each composer varies in respect of the dependence on the movie itself — it is often marked by a desire to give music its autonomy (while still taking the film narration into account).

    W artykule opisano sposoby prezentowania wizerunku bibliotekarzy i bibliotek w wybranych ekranizacjach. Zdefiniowano kluczowe pojęcia – stereotyp, wizerunek, bibliotekarz. Omówiono predyspozycje, które musi mieć bibliotekarz, oraz scharakteryzowano zadania zawodowe. Wizerunki bibliotekarza nakreślone w filmach przedstawiono w dwóch grupach: pozytywne (antystereotyp) oraz negatywne (stereotyp).
    The article describes methods of presenting the image of librarians and libraries in selected film adaptations. Key terms were defined - stereotype, image, librarian. The predispositions which a librarian must have are discussed and professional tasks are characterised. The images of librarians outlined in films are presented in two groups: positive (anti-stereotype) and negative (stereotype).

    The graphic designs proposed by Polish publishers cannot be compared neither in number, nor in diversity to those presented by Margaret C. Sullivan in Jane Austen Cover to Cover: 200 Years of Classic Book Covers. Nevertheless, they are a valuable and still undiscussed source of knowledge on the Polish reception of Austen’s novels. Further information on this subject is provided in the first part of the paper by a compilation of book series in which some or all of the texts by Austen have appeared since the 1990s. The analysis of the book covers takes into consideration the relation between the design and the content of the narrative as well as the character of the artwork and its origin. The most popular were 19th century paintings (portraits, genre scenes, less frequently landscapes), film stills from the movie adaptations and floral patterns. As one of the aims of the study was to answer the question how the covers direct the reading process and place the text in the literary tradition, the remarks on the publishers’ choices were supplemented with the readers’ reviews. In the conclusion, it was suggested how the potential, new editions could be designed to stand out from the former ones.

    We study the autocovariance structure of a general Markov switching second-order stationary VARMA model. Then we give stable finite order VARMA(p∗, q∗) representations for those M-state Markov switching VARMA(p, q) processes where the observables are uncorrelated with the regime variables. This allows us to obtain sharper bounds for p∗and q∗ with respect to the ones existing in literature. Our results provide new insights into stochastic properties and facilitate statistical inference about the orders of MS-VARMA models and the underlying number of hidden states

    The article discusses the topic of defining femininity in Russia on the basis of cultural patterns existing in society. The subject of the research is a woman in Russian tv series Мамочки. The article also examine the role oft he media in creating new reality. The research tool which has been used in this publication is a TV series – understood as a text of culture. Using the content and visual images included in the tv series, the specifics of gender roles in contemporary Russia have been pointed out.

    The paper will present the results of the application of the modified additive and multiplicative exponential smoothing models (Brown, Holt and Holt-Winters) in the interpolation and extrapolation forecasting of demand for power energy in the agglomeration A in hour periods, based on time series with systematic gaps. The basis for the construction of forecasts will be time series, from which twelve month, weekly and twenty-four hour fluctuation cycles have been eliminated. Additionally the comparative analysis of accuracy of forecasts built for classical time series models with complex seasonal fluctuations will be conducted. There also will be presented an assess of the criteria for selecting the optimal values of the smoothing constants in terms of building an ex ante forecasts.

    It has been shown that the description of mildly nonlinear circuits with the use of an operator o introduced by Meyer and Stephens in their paper published more than forty years ago was flawed. The problem now with their incorrect and imprecise definition is that it is still replicated in one or another form, as, for example, in publications of Palumbo and Pennisi on harmonic distortion calculation in integrated CMOS amplifiers or an article of Shrimali and Chatterjee on nonlinear distortion analysis of a three-terminal MOS-based parametric amplifier. Here, we discuss the versions of o operator presented in the works mentioned above and show points, where mistakes were committed. Also, we derive the correct forms of nonlinear circuit descriptions that should be used.

    For the first time, operator o appeared in the literature on weakly nonlinear circuits in a Narayanan’s paper on modelling transistor nonlinear distortion with the use of Volterra series. Its definition was restricted only to the linear part of a nonlinear circuit description. Obviously, as we show here, Narayanan’s operator o had meaning of a linear convolution integral. The extended version of this operator, which was applied to the whole nonlinear circuit representation by the Volterra series, was introduced by Meyer and Stephens in their paper on modelling nonlinear distortion in variable-capacitance diodes. We show here that its definition as well as another definition communicated to the author of this paper are faulty. We draw here attention to these facts because the faults made by Meyer and Stephens were afterwards replicated in publications of Palumbo and his coworkers on harmonic distortion calculation in integrated CMOS amplifiers, and recently in a paper about distortion analysis of parametric amplifier by H. Shrimali and S. Chatterjee. These faults are also present in some class notes for students, which are available on WWW-pages.

    Unemployment is an important macroeconomic issue both in theoretical terms and for economic reality. On the theoretical ground, the unemployment rate, which is a measure of the share of unemployed units of the labour supply in the economy, determines the output gap at a certain adjustment parameter determined by the marginal productivity of labour. One of the causes of rising or persistent unemployment in the economy is the phenomenon of unemployment hysteresis, which occurs as a result of changes in the marginal disutility of labour, the strength of the wage bargain and other exogenous conditions arising in previous periods. The purpose of the study conducted in the following paper is to investigate the phenomenon of hysteresis in the labour market by analysing the significance of the impact of the unemployment rate in previous periods. In addition, the work aims to study Okun’s Law as an effect of production dynamics on the unemployment rate. The study of the dependence was carried out through the estimation of a macroeconometric time series model—vector-autoregression (VAR) on the example of statistical data for Poland obtained from Statistics Poland (Stat.gov.pl) and complied raports about national accounts in the quarterly sequence for the years 2015–2021. The period of the study was arbitrarily selected with the observation of business cycle fluctuations in the above time frame. Empirical analysis of selected structural parameters through estimation of the vector-autore- gression model showed a significant influence of the time series in the formation of the unemployment rate, which confirms the influence of the analysed phenomenon of hysteresis in the labour market. In addition, the vector-autoregression model for inter- val forecasting through the use of dynamic prediction proved to be a posteriori accurate forecasting model of the unemployment rate in the Polish economy.

    Przemysław Krawczyk discusses the impact of institutions related to the continuity of a crime on the substantive validity of judgments in criminal cases and the ne bis in idem prohibition that flows from it. The study presents the views of doctrine and judicature which treat the scope of the validity of substantive judgment in relation to conduct (acts) committed in the conditions of continuity. It should be noted at the outset that positions on this issue tend to be diametrically different. Moreover, Krawczyk points out how important it is to set temporal limits to the continuity of an offence. This issue is of considerable importance from the point of view of the substantive validity of a ruling issued in a criminal trial, because incorrect or insufficiently precise delimitation of these limits may result in a violation of some fundamental principles of criminal law, both substantive and procedural.

    Prognozowanie w logistyce przedsiębiorstwa jest niezwykle istotnym elementem procesów decyzyjnych, dlatego też ważny jest adekwatny dobór metod prognozowania do badanych zjawisk i procesów logistycznych. Tematem artykułu jest prognozowanie w logistyce na przykładzie prognozy metodą średnich ruchomych. Celem artykułu jest usystematyzowanie pojęć i rodzaju metod prognozowania, a ponadto przedstawienie algorytmu obliczenia prognozy metodą średnich ruchomych na podstawie rzeczywistych danych empirycznych produkcji samochodów osobowych w Polsce w 2016 roku. Prowadzenie badań wszelkiego rodzaju metod prognozowania jest niezwykle przydatnym uzupełnieniem istniejących luk w teorii i praktyce procesów logistycznych przedsiębiorstw.
    Predicting in logistics is an important element of decision-making, as is the selection of an adequate method of predicting in the studied phenomena and logistics processes. Therefore, the subject of the article is predicting in logistics and includes the moving averages prediction method. This article aims to systematise the concepts and types of prediction methods, and also to present an algorithm calculating the moving averages predicting method based on actual empirical data production of passenger cars in Poland in 2016. Conducting all kinds of prediction methods is an extremely useful complement to the existing gaps in the theory and practice processes in logistics.

    Charakterystyczną cechą systemu elektroenergetycznego jest jego ciągła zmienność. W celu poprawnego prowadzenia eksploatacji systemu elektroenergetycznego jak również planowania jego rozwoju niezbędne jest wykonywanie prognoz elektroenergetycznych. Wykonanie poprawnej prognozy dla systemu jest zadaniem niełatwym i wymagającym dużego doświadczenia, wiedzy i wyczucia. Aby w sposób świadomy móc regulować i przewidywać procesy zachodzące w systemie elektroenergetycznym niezbędne są prace z dziedziny analizy i prognozy obciążeń elektroenergetycznych. W artykule przedstawiono nowy model prognostyczny oparty o rozkład kanoniczny wektora zmiennych losowych. Jest to nowa metoda prognostyczna, w wyniku której można otrzymać długoterminowe prognozy mocy szczytowej dla KSE.
    The characteristic feature of a power engineering system is its constant variability. In order to operate a power engineering system, as well as to plan its development it is necessary to carry out forecasts. Working out a correct forecast is an uneasy task that requires a lot of experience, knowledge and intuition. In order to be able to control and foresee the processes that occur in a power engineering system it is necessary to undertake research in the field of analyses of power loads. In the paper a new forecasting model, based on the canonical distribution of a vector of random variables, has been presented. It is a new forecasting method, able to predict long-term forecasts on peak power load of power engineering system in Poland.

    W latach 1901–1906 poznański wydawca Isidor Themal wydawał serię kart pocztowych zatytułowaną Posener Ereignisse (Poznańskie wydarzenia). W ciągu kilkunastu lat udało się pozyskać znaczną część tej serii do zbiorów ikonograficznych Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej w Poznaniu. Na 37 kartach pocztowych zostały przedstawione między innymi: sceny z wizyty cesarza Wilhelma II w Poznaniu w 1902 roku, wizyta cesarzowej Augusty Wiktorii w 1903 roku, proces demilitaryzacji miasta w pierwszej dekadzie XX wieku, rozbiórka pruskich fortyfikacji i burzenie bram miejskich, powódź w 1903 roku, budowa portu rzecznego na Warcie i budowa cesarskiego zamku. Themal korzystał ze zdjęć wykonywanych przez Josepha Engelmanna, jednego z najważniejszych fotografów poznańskich XIX wieku. Poszczególne karty pocztowe występowały w rozmaitych odmianach, a fotografie wykorzystywane były do produkcji pocztówek wydawanych również poza serią.
    Between 1901–1906, J. Themal, Poznań-based publisher, published a series of picture postcards entitled Posener Ereignisse (events in Poznań). It took a dozen or so years of concerted efforts for Poznań University Library to acquire a substantial part of the series to be incorporated into the iconographic collection of the library. In all, 37 picture postcards include images depicting, amongst others, pictures taken during the visit of the German Emperor Willhelm II in Poznań in 1902, visit of his consort Augusta Victoria in 1903, pictures that capture the process of demilitarization of the city during the first decade of the 20th century – demolition of Prussian fortifications and pulling down of the city’s gates, and those that record the floods of 1903, construction works on the Warta river harbour and the building of the Emperor’s Castle. J. Themal made use of photographs taken by J. Engelmann, one of the most important Poznań photographers in the nineteenth century. Individual postcards had different variations, while the photographs were also used for picture postcard editions that were published outside the series.

W swojej pracy, autorka skupia się przede wszystkim na obecności narkotyków w serialu : jako nałogu niektórych postaci i jako biznesie na którym zarabia główny bohater. Dodatkowo postawy niektórych bohaterów serialu zostały poddane analizie, doszukując się motywów ich działania lub ukrytych słabości. Dla autorki ważna jest również kwestia fenomenu popularności serialu, dlatego też stara się przyjrzeć mu bliżej w niniejszej pracy.
    The author in this text try introduce closer general issues of drugs, by analizing content popular american TV series Breaking Bad. It wants to show how much television and tv series changed. In his scientist work, the author is focusing on the presence of drugs in the tv series: as addiction some characters, and business which the main character earns the money, Also the attitude of some hero in tv series come analysed searching for the motives or hidden weakness. For author the also important is the question of phenomenom of popularity series, that why she try looking him closer in this work.

    W artykule przedmiotem opisu uczyniono staropolskie wieloczłonowe szeregi stojące w miejscu podmiotu, np. A tako stała jest pod krzyżem matka Jezukrystowa, Maryja magdalena i święty Jan Ewanjelista. Pod względem budowy, cech semantycznych i gramatycznych członów oraz typów wskaźników zespolenia przypominały one typowe trójargumentowe szeregi (dziecko oraz matka), różniły się jednak liczbą członów rzeczownikowych, która zazwyczaj wahała się od trzech do siedmiu. Wyróżniono pośród nich szeregi jednorodne, zorganizowane wokół jednego typu wskaźnika zespolenia lub jego ekwiwalentu w postaci pauzy delimitacyjnej (np. aby mię od ciebie ani śmierć, ani żywot, ani żadna szczęsność od ciebie oddaliła), oraz niejednorodne, w których mogły wystąpić różne wskaźniki zespolenia (np. Gdyby raćce z przysiężniki i z pospólstwem uczynili wielkierz). Interesująca była także składnia orzeczenia przy takich szeregach – bardzo rzadka wyłącznie ad sensum, częstsza wyłącznie ad formam lub wariantywna ad formam / ad sensum. Wyekscerpowane szeregi naśladowały pod względem budowy i składni współczesne podmioty szeregowe i – jak wynika z analiz ilościowych – miały podobną frekwencję w najdawniejszych zdaniach polskich.
    This article contains a description of Old Polish series functioning as subjects in sentences, e.g A tako stała jest pod krzyżem matka Jezukrystowa, Maryja magdalena i święty Jan Ewanjelista. In terms of structure, semantic and grammatical features of their elements, as well as types of compound indicators, they resemble typical three-argument series (child and mother), however, they differ in the number of noun elements, which usually range from three to seven. Two types of lists are distinguished: homogenous, are organized around a single type of linking element or its equivalent in the form of a delimitation pause (e.g., aby mię od ciebie ani śmierć, ani żywot, ani żadna szczęsność od ciebie oddaliła), and heterogeneous, which may be linked more loosely or more closely (e.g., Gdyby raćce z przysiężniki i z pospólstwem uczynili wielkierz). List syntax was also described; very rarely it was exclusively ad sensum, more frequently, exclusively ad formam or in some cases, ad formam / ad sensum. The lists extracted here resemble modern serial subjects in terms of structure and syntax and, according to quantitative analyses, have a similar frequency in the oldest known Polish sentences.

    This article is an attempt at a fairly detailed analysis of the TV series Being Forty in its first version of the 1970s. The text proposes an interpretation of the film from the perspective of Pierre Bourdieu’s theory and in particular reconstructs the social sphere of the film’s protagonists, which consists of the intelligentsia elite, the nomenklatura, the lower intelligentsia, and medium-level technical personnel. In the picture produced by the filmmakers, the role of the intelligentsia, especially its multi-generational old elite, is dominant. This vision does not fully correspond with the real place of the intelligentsia in Poland during the Gierek era. The authors of the article thus interpret the film as the scriptwriters’ appreciation of the intelligentsia, both in respect to its lower technical staff and to the part of the nomenklatura that was less rich in cultural capital. The interpretative framework proposed in the text seems useful for analyzing other works of art in order to reconstruct the social relations of the times in which they were created.

    The text refers to the films of black series of Polish document and arising at the same time (1956–1957) etudes of students of the Lodz Film School, dedicated to social issues. Analysis of individual works led to several observation. First, the etudes, like movies of black series, reflecting the social movement of 1956, but their subject matter turned out to be partly different. Appeared in them, for example, political threads. Secondly, the etudes showed many similarities to the professional implementation of the WFD, but only films of Hoffman and Skórzewski can pass as a source of inspiration for students. More frequently students ideas appeared in the improved form in the films of young professionals. Thirdly, the weaker school productions were bolder.

    Szkic dotyczy wybranych aspektów myśli teoretycznoliterackiej Mariana Maciejewskiego. Jakkolwiek Uczony był przede wszystkim historykiem literatury, jednak w jego naukowym pisarstwie nietrudno dostrzec niejaką inklinację do twórczego podejmowania zagadnień z zakresu teorii literatury, o tyle przynajmniej, o ile okazywało się to potrzebne do rozwiązywania historycznoliterackich problemów, jakie wyłaniały się w trakcie jego pracy badawczej. Zainteresowanie Maciejewskiego budziła zwłaszcza problematyka genologiczna – pewne godne uwagi propozycje, jakie w tym zakresie przedstawił, jeśli nawet nie tworzą uniwersalnej teoretycznej konceptualizacji, to zasługują na ujęcie w kategoriach „idei genologicznych”. Do tak rozumianych idei należy sposób operowania przez Maciejewskiego kategorią obrazu, w znaczeniu nie ograniczonym bynajmniej do `obrazowania poetyckiego'. W zastosowaniu do Sonetów krymskich, a także liryków lozańskich Mickiewicza, obraz staje się synonimem szerzej rozumianego widzenia poetyckiego, które z kolei – podbudowane czy to „teorią widzenia” Władysława Strzemińskiego (w przypadku cyklu krymskiego), czy to tradycjami teologii mistycznej (w przypadku lozańskim) – zyskuje operacyjną użyteczność, jako kluczowa kategoria analityczno-interpretacyjna, formując zarazem nadspodziewanie niekiedy złożone układy odniesienia. W polu pojęciowym tak rozumianego obrazu jako terminu technicznego mieści się zarówno „obraz autora”, jak i problematyka genologiczna – oba te aspekty łączą się w dyskursie Maciejewskiego na temat powieści poetyckiej oraz romantycznej gawędy. W ujęciu Badacza nośnikiem obrazu (w wymiarze jednostkowo-egzystencjalnym równie dobrze, jak w wymiarze idei programowych literackiego prądu) może być bowiem nie tylko tekst literacki, rozumiany jako aktywizacja i aktualizacja określonego systemu reguł; nośnikiem obrazu może być także sam gatunek literacki. Innymi słowy, semantyka struktury występuje nie tylko po stronie parole, lecz także po stronie langue. Konsekwencją takiego podejścia jest założenie, przyjęte i zastosowane zwłaszcza w badaniach Maciejewskiego nad gawędą, że w pewnych szczególnych przypadkach pojedynczy utwór może realizować normy gatunkowe w taki sposób, że jego struktura znaczeniowa daje się wyłożyć w kategoriach metagatunkowego dyskursu. Takie właśnie założenie sugeruje nawet tytuł rozprawy Gawęda o gawędzie. Ową gawędą o gawędzie jest wstęp do antologii, to oczywiste; lecz jako gawęda o gawędzie jawi się także Maciejewskiemu Kazanie konfederackie Rzewuskiego. Analogiczne przesłanki pozwoliły Uczonemu rozstrzygnąć kwestię historycznogatunkowego statusu Marii Malczewskiego jako tekstu bez reszty przynależnego do epoki romantycznej.
    The sketch is concerned with selected aspects of Marian Maciejewski's thought about theory of literature. Although the scholar was first of all a historian of literature, it is not hard to notice some inclination towards creative exploration of issues connected with theory of literature in his academic writings, at least to the degree needed to solve the historico-literary problems that appeared in the course of his research. Especially genological problems aroused Maciejewski's interest − some noteworthy propositions that he presented with respect to them, even if they do not form a universal theoretical conceptualization, still they do deserve to be approached in the categories of “genological ideas”. Ideas understood in this way include the way Maciejewski uses the category of image, in the meaning that is by no means limited to “poetical imagery”. Applied to Mickiewicz's Crimean Sonnets, as well as to his Lausanne lyrics, the image becomes a synonym of more broadly understood poetical vision, that, in turn − supported either by Władysław Strzemiński's “theory of vision” (in the case of the Crimean series), or by traditions of mystical theology (in the case of the Lausanne poems) − gains operational utility, as a key analytical-interpretative category, at the same time forming often unexpectedly complex frames of reference. In the notional field of so understood image as a technical term both the “image of the author” and the genological issue are contained - both these aspects are joined in Maciejewski's discourse about the poetical novel and the Romantic tale. This is because in the scholar's approach not only a literary text, understood as activation and actualization of a defined system of rules may be the carrier of the image (in the individual-existential dimension as well as in the dimension of program ideas of a literary current): also the very literary genre may be the carrier. In other words, the semantics of the structure occurs not only on the side of the parole, but also on the side of the langue. The consequence of such an approach is the ssumption, made and applied especially in Maciejewski's studies of the tale, that in certain particular cases an individual work may realize genre norms in such a way that its meaning structure can be explained in the categories of a meta-genre discourse. It is exactly this assumption that is suggested by the very title of the treatise A Tale About the Tale”. This tale about the tale is an introduction to an anthology, which is obvious; however, also Rzewuski's A Confererate Sermon appears to Maciejewski as a tale about the tale. Analogical premises have allowed the scholar to decide the question of the historico-literary status of Malczewski's Maria as of a text completely belonging to the Romantic epoch.

    Po załączeniu napięcia na skutek istnienia inercji prąd w obwodzie zaczyna narastać od wartości zerowej do znamionowej. W tym czasie narastają spadki napięć na rezystancjach (impedancjach obwodu) bo zaczynają obowiązywać prawa Kirchhoffa. Można utworzyć układ ze sprzężeniem zwrotnym (układ regulacji stałowartościowej bądź nadążnej), który poszukuje parametrów obwodu spełniających prawa Kirchhoffa – elementy nie muszą być liniowe. W artykule przedstawiono omówienie teoretyczne metodyki rozwiązywania obwodów z zastosowaniem programu MatlabSimulink oraz przykłady: nieliniowego obwodu prądu stałego, nieliniowego obwodu dla wartości chwilowych prądu przemiennego oraz liniowych obwodów prądu przemiennego, obliczanych dla wartości wskazowych.
    After voltage switch on a current in circuit due to inertia existence start to grow from null to nominal value. Meanwhile grows the resistance (impedance) voltage drops to achieve Kirchhoff’s rule. We can use a circuit with feedback (constant value control system or follow-up control system), which search for circuit parameters fulfilling Kirchhoff’s rules – in such case elements can be nonlinear. In the paper theoretic bases of circuit solutions using Matlab-Simulink program are discussed. Examples of nonlinear circuit of DC, nonlinear circuit for instantaneous values of AC supplied circuit and linear AC circuit evaluated for vector values are presented.

    Powstanie globalnych łańcuchów wartości sprawiło, że pomiar korzyści z handlu zagranicznego nie może ograniczać się do pomiaru strumieni handlu czy też ich struktury. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zróżnicowania krajów pod względem udziału krajowej wartości dodanej w eksporcie brutto. W badaniu posłużono się analizą skupień szeregów czasowych. Dane obejmujące okres 2005–2016 zaczerpnięto z najnowszej bazy TiVA (Trade in Value Added) z grudnia 2018 r. Otrzymano cztery skupienia krajów. W skupieniu o najwyższych wartościach udziału krajowej wartości dodanej w eksporcie znalazły się gospodarki bogate w zasoby naturalne (m.in. Arabia Saudyjska, Rosja, kraje Ameryki Południowej), mające duży rynek wewnętrzny oraz zaangażowane w zaawansowane technologicznie procesy wytwórcze/usługi o wysokim nasyceniu wiedzą (m.in. USA, Japonia, Wielka Brytania). W grupie o najniższym udziale krajowej wartości dodanej w eksporcie (nieprzekraczającym 50%) znalazły się małe i otwarte gospodarki europejskie – Luksemburg i Malta.
    The emergence of global value chains entails that measuring the benefits of foreign trade cannot be limited to measuring trade flows nor their structure. The article aims at presenting the results of the time series cluster analysis of the share of the domestic value added of gross exports. It is based on data from the latest TiVA database (Trade in Value Added) from December 2018, covering the period 2005–2016. Four clusters of countries were identified. The cluster containing countries with the highest values of the national share of added value in exports included economies rich in natural resources (i.a., Saudi Arabia, Russia, South American countries), with a large internal market and involved in technologically advanced manufacturing processes/knowledge intensive services (including USA, Japan, Great Britain). A group with the lowest share of the domestic value added in exports (not exceeding 50%) contained small and open European economies of Luxembourg and Malta.

    Opis:
    In this paper, we show that a mildly nonlinear model of an active filter using the Volterra series and any other related one do not give satisfactory results in evaluation of nonlinear distortion in the range of low frequencies, in which the operational amplifier output voltage saturation is a dominating nonlinear phenomenon in this filter. Therefore, minimization of the filter nonlinear distortion cannot be performed by minimization of the gain-sensitivity product (GSP) or the so-called distortion aggravation factor (FDAG) in the aforementioned range of frequencies. This is illustrated, using measured data of filter transfer function distortion, on an example of a low-pass Sallen and Key filter.
    W niniejszym artykule pokazano, że słabo nieliniowy model aktywnego filtru wykorzystujący szereg Volterry i inne temu podobne modele, nie daje zadowalających wyników w określaniu zniekształceń nieliniowych filtru w zakresie niskich częstotliwości, w którym napięciowe nasycenie na wyjściu wzmacniacza operacyjnego stanowi podstawowe zjawisko nieliniowe w tym filtrze. Konsekwencją tego jest to, że minimalizacja zniekształceń nieliniowych filtru nie może być wtedy oparta o minimalizację takich miar jak, na przykład, iloczyn wzmocnienia i wrażliwości, czy też odwrotność współczynnika sprzężenia w wyżej wspomnianym zakresie częstotliwości. Zostało to wykazane przy pomocy pomiarowych danych zniekształceń funkcji przenoszenia filtru, na przykładzie dolnoprzepustowego filtru Sallena-Key.

    The editorial series Bibliotheca Tessinensis, founded in 2004, is devoted to publishing the unknown or hardy accessible source documents related to the history of Cieszyn Silesia from the Middle Ages to the present, as well as the sources of universal significance, which are stored in Cieszyn Silesia and constitute the abiding component of the cultural heritage of the region. The title of the series harks back to the edition of the bio- and bibliographical materials, planned to be edited by Leopold Jan Szersznik (1747-1814); in the publishers’ intention it grounds the series in the historiographical tradition of the region, giving it also a supranational character and outreach. Accordingly, the Bibliotheca Tessinensis is being issued in two subseries – one of them (Series Polonica) published by Książnica Cieszyńska (the Cieszyn Historical Library), and the other (Series Bohemica) – by Ośrodek Dokumentacyjny Kongresu Polaków w Republice Czeskiej (the Documentation Centre of the Congress of Poles in the Czech Republic). The consecutive volumes of both subseries, issued independently of each other, depending on the organiza tional and financial possibilities of the publishers, are prepared according to the common editorial instruction, have the same layout, and are numbered sequentially within the whole series.
