Opis:
The current identification algorithm using sonar signal parameters of bandwidth, frequency, duration and pulse waveform which are easy to detect and imitation, to identify the identity of sonar signal, resulting in part of the sonar signal identity is not easy to distinguish. Therefore, an algorithm based on signal feature extraction and digital watermarking is proposed to recognize the uncertain sonar signals. The algorithm embeds the digital watermark into the detection signal from the uncertain sonar. The identity of the signal is recognized by detecting whether the received signal contains watermarks. Experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the recognition performance of sonar signal source.

Opis:
The paper is devoted to the control of operability of Peltier modules based on the analysis of transient modes of their operation. Advantages of using low-power thermoelectric modules for the development of thermoelectric plants with adaptive control systems for the needs of the agricultural complex, which significantly reduce their cost characteristics, are shown. The problem of using the stationary mode of their operation, associated with the low efficiency of the modules, as well as the dynamic mode, associated with the presence of transient processes, is indicated. It is noted that overcoming this problem requires solution of the task of automation of reliability providing the well-known approaches to its solution are shown, for which the key advantages and disadvantages are given. An approach is proposed to complex control of the operability and quality of thermoelectric modules during their expluatation in three components of the physical process of thermoelectric conversion (Peltier thermoelectric effect, electrical and thermal transfer phenomena) by analyzing transients in the system based on identification algorithms. To justify it, the necessary equations and mathematical relations are given. Aprobating of the proposed approach was carried out experimentally by determining the time constants for operable and defective commercially available modules and showed its significant advantages over the standard verification procedure.

Opis:
The paper presents a simple and useful method that shows how to determine parameters of the ultimate cycle. The method allows to improve estimation of the parameters of the ultimate cycle by a dozen or so percent. It is achieved by reducing a slope of relay characteristic to ca. 1,15-1,45 of the ultimate gain. As a result the main harmonic is more dominant then the remaining harmonics of the Fourier series and allows the estimation of the parameters of the ultimate cycle to be improved as well. Thanks them the models of control processes that are created using the relay method can be more accurate what is particularly important in model-based control systems. The supervisory system for carrying out an identification experiment was developed using Matlab / Simulink software. The results of simulations show that better estimations of ultimate point are particularly important in models sensitive to their deviations, such as the SOPDT model.

Opis:
W artykule przedstawiono model procesu repetycyjnego zbudowany przy wykorzystaniu metod podprzestrzenii. Rząd systemu i macierze nieznanego systemu są wyznaczane z sekwencji danych wejściowych i wyjściowych aktualnego pasa i sekwencji wyjściowej poprzedniego pasa.
In the paper identification of the linear repetitive processes using the subspace methods is considered. Generally speaking, constructions of the deterministic realization theory are translated by the subspace methods into procedures (Fig. 1). The procedures which work on measured data are used for model building [5, 6]. Subspace algorithms consist of two steps. In the first step, the order and the extended observability matrix are recovered directly from the input-output data [2]. In the second step, the unknown system matrices are determined either via determining the state sequences and combining them with the input-output data or determining the matrices A and C directly from the extended observability matrix and using them to determine the remaining system matrices [3, 4]. Contrary to the LRP control theory, the identification of LRPs has attracted very limited attention. LRP are a useful tool for modelling and control of some real dynamic processes and operations [1]. The aim of this paper is to propose a new approach to the identification of the LRPs based on subspace algorithms. The order of a LRP and the unknown process matrices are determined based on the input and output sequences of the actual pass and the output sequence of the previous pass. The proposed approach can be very useful not only for time invariant linear repetitive processes but also for processes with fast dynamic changes from pass to pass (e.g., perform-to-bottle cycle process). A simulation example is provided to illustrate the proposed approach effectiveness (Fig. 2).

Opis:
The work is devoted to the identification of microstructure parameters of a porous body under thermal and mechanical loads. The goal of the identification is to determine the parameters of the microstructure on the basis of measurements of displacements and temperatures at the macro level. A two-scale 3D coupled thermomechanical model of porous aluminum is considered. The representative volume element (RVE) concept modeled with periodical boundary conditions is assumed. Boundary-value problems for RVEs (micro-scale) are solved by means of the finite element method (FEM). An evolutionary algorithm (EA) is used for the identification as the optimization technique.

This study is concerned with the mechanical properties of homogenous solid propellants. The experimental results demonstrate the high strain rate sensitivity of these materials. A modified viscoplastic model of the Bodner- Partom type was applied to simulate the nonlinear behaviour of solid propellants when subjected to uni-axial loading conditions. The material parameters of the constitutive law were identified numerically using the evolutionary algorithm. The capability of the proposed approach was investigated for a representative solid fuel sample. The efficiency of the method is discussed.

Opis:
This paper presents the possibility of the parametric identification of an unknown low energy explosive basing only on its ballistic curve using advanced optimisation algorithm. What was under investigation here was the approach of an explosive replication for the numerical investigation of ANSYS AUTODYN solver. The emphasis was given here for the propellants used in the automotive safety devices. The results of closed bomb testing was compared with its numerical representation. The required parameters to develop a new numerical model of an explosive was identified with the aid of evolutionary algorithm. In order to perform a parametric identification a mathematical model of considered phenomenon is required. Hence, this paper contains a mathematical model of a deflagration process which was the basis for the evolutionary algorithm. The algorithm verified a variety of parameters until the objective function is obtained. In the case of this paper the objective function was a ballistic curve of an unknown explosive which combust under deflagration regime. The results obtained with this method shows good agreement with the closed bomb test of the propellant. Furthermore, advanced optimisation tools such as an evolutionary algorithms, in oppose to most of other optimisations algorithms, enables to find a global optimum. However, the identified function here was found to be unimodal.

Opis:
An evolutionary method for analogue integrated circuits diagnosis is presented in this paper. The method allows for global parametric faults localization at the prototype stage of life of an analogue integrated circuit. The presented method is based on the circuit under test response base and the advanced features classification. A classifier is built with the use of evolutionary algorithms, such as differential evolution and gene expression programming. As the proposed diagnosis method might be applied at the production phase there is a method for shortening the diagnosis time suggested. An evolutionary approach has been verified with the use of several exemplary circuits – an oscillator, a band-pass filter and two operational amplifiers. A comparison of the presented algorithm and two classical methods – the linear classifier and the nearest neighborhood method – proves that the heuristic approach allows for acquiring significantly better results.

Opis:
The paper presents an identification procedure of electromagnetic parameters for an induction motor equivalent circuit including rotor deep bar effect. The presented procedure employs information obtained from measurement realised under the load curve test, described in the standard PN-EN 60034-28: 2013. In the article, the selected impedance frequency characteristics of the tested induction machines derived from measurement have been compared with the corresponding characteristics calculated with the use of the adopted equivalent circuit with electromagnetic parameters determined according to the presented procedure. Furthermore, the characteristics computed on the basis of the classical machine T-type equivalent circuit, whose electromagnetic parameters had been identified in line with the chosen methodologies reported in the standards PN-EN 60034-28: 2013 and IEEE Std 112TM-2004, have been included in the comparative analysis as well. Additional verification of correctness of identified electromagnetic parameters has been realised through comparison of the steady-state power factor-slip and torque-slip characteristics determined experimentally and through the machine operation simulations carried out with the use of the considered equivalent circuits. The studies concerning induction motors with two types of rotor construction – a conventional single cage rotor and a solid rotor manufactured from magnetic material – have been presented in the paper.

The paper presents an iterative identification method dedicated for industrial processes. The method consists of two steps. In the first step, a MISO system is identified with the Modulating Functions Method to obtain sub-models with a common denominator. In the second step, the obtained subsystems are re-identified. This procedure enables to obtain the set of models with different denominators of the transfer functions. The algorithm was used for on-line identification of a glass conditioning process. Identification window is divided into intervals, in which the models can be updated based on recent process data, with the use of the integral state observer. Results of the performed simulations for the identified models are compared with the historical process data.
