    Opis:
    Flight personnel have various factors that cause high psychological stress during the performance of flight tasks, thereby influencing their psycho-physiological experience, which may be a cause of a breach of air traffic safety. The paper presents the results of an experimental verification of task management under load, which allowed selection of probands from a sample of 100 participants in the presurvey. Overall, 70% of the probands achieved better results than the minimum level of success of simulated and the complex tasks, 60%. The main aim of the experiment, the presurvey, is to verify and prepare a final version of sets of test tasks in the field of measuring the psychophysiological performance of the candidates for aviation personnel and to complete the creation of a technical device and the software tool for these processes. The software will be filed for the patent protection of copyrights and subsequently used for solving an approved research project supported by a grant from the Agency for Science and Research of the Slovak Republic.

    Opis:
    While considering the issue of the air transport safety, special attention should be given to projects related to air transport of hazardous materials, which occupy an increasingly important position in the global air transport. The authors of this article undertook the analysis of selected aspects of security aiming at minimization of the risks occurring during transportation of hazardous materials. Nevertheless, the main subject of research is a human factor and its impact on the possibility of occurrence of flight events involving dangerous substances and objects. As a result of the analysis the main causes of flight events caused by air transport participants were indicated and discussed. The examples illustrate the gaps and short comings in the transport procedures for these materials. These procedures should be updated from time to time by the knowledge acquired through the experience of the occurrence of bad or irregular shipments of dangerous goods.

    Opis:
    Bezpieczeństwo jest jednym z głównych warunków funkcjonowania transportu. Najwięcej uwagi poświęca się technicznym aspektom bezpieczeństwa. Jednak wypadki w transporcie mają więcej źródeł, którymi przede wszystkim są: czynniki ludzkie, czynniki organizacyjne, czynniki techniczne oraz czynniki środowiskowe. Dane statystyczne wskazują, że główną przyczyną wypadków i katastrof w transporcie są błędy popełniane przez człowieka. Tym samym eliminacja lub ograniczenie błędów ludzkich może istotnie wpłynąć na poprawę bezpieczeństwa w transporcie. W artykule poruszono problematykę niezawodności człowieka w kontekście zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa. Zdefiniowano pojęcie niezawodności człowieka, podano klasyfikację błędów popełnianych przez człowieka oraz przeprowadzono analizę przyczyn tych błędów. Główny nacisk położono na przedstawienie i ocenę wybranych metod jakościowej i ilościowej analizy niezawodności człowieka (ang. Human Reliability Analysis, HRA), takich jak: THERP, ASEP, HEART, SPAR-H, ATHEANA, CREAM.
    Safety is one of the main conditions for the functioning of the transport. The most attention is paid to the technical aspects of transport safety. However, accidents in transport are caused by many different factors and these primarily are: human factors, organizational factors, technical factors and environmental factors. Statistical data indicate that the main cause of accidents and disasters in transport are human errors. Thus, the elimination or reduction of their number could significantly improve the safety in transport. In the article the issues of human reliability in the context of ensuring safety are discussed. Additionally, the classification of human errors was given and an analysis of the causes of these errors was conducted. The main emphasis was put to present and evaluate of the selected methods of qualitative and quantitative Human Reliability Analysis (HRA), such as: THERP, ASEP, HEART, SPAR-H, ATHEANA, CREAM.
