The occurrence of negative phenomena over the past two years: the Covid-19 pandemic, the temporary disruption of supply chains, the war in Ukraine and the energy crisis has affected many aspects of the global economy, including the rise in inflation and interest rates. All borrowers, including more than two million households in Poland repaying home loans, have been affected by these changes - most notably visible in the dynamic increase in lending rates. In order to help borrowers repay the instalments of such loans granted in zloty, the Legislator introduced legislation in July 2022 allowing for the use of „credit holidays”. The purpose of this article is to present the results of a study carried out on the basis of sample home loans - the impact of the introduction of „credit holidays” on the level of loan principal and instalments, assuming that all the money saved from the suspension of instalments is used to overpay the loan.

Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia problem integracji imigrantów w Polsce, który próbowano zbadać za pomocą przeprowadzonych w 2022 roku metodą sondażu diagnostycznego badań, w których wzięło udział 56 imigrantów mieszkających w Krakowie. Aby osiągnąć zamierzony cel badawczy, zapytano badanych m.in. o opinie na temat uczestnictwa w polskich świętach i tradycjach, zapoznawania swoich polskich znajomych ze zwyczajami i tradycjami charakterystycznymi dla swojej kultury, uczestnictwa w polskim życiu kulturalnym (polskie kino, polski teatr, polskie wystawy, koncerty polskich artystów). Z analizy badanych wskaźników wynika, że zdecydowana większość badanych (ok. 70–80%) w wysokim stopniu integruje się ze społeczeństwem przyjmującym. Zdecydowana większość badanych (blisko 90%) twierdziła, że polskich znajomych zapoznaje ze swoją kulturą narodową. 65% badanych twierdziło, że bardzo często bądź często uczestniczy w polskim życiu kulturalnym. Wciąż jednak należy dbać o tę grupę imigrantów, która ma problemy z integracją. Istnieje potrzeba modyfikowania polityki integracji, a także wprowadzania w szerszym zakresie edukacji międzykulturowej do szkół oraz na uczelnie wyższe.        
This article presents the problem of immigrant integration in Poland, which was investigated in a 2022 diagnostic survey of 56 immigrants living in Krakow. The respondents were asked about their opinions on participation in Polish holidays and traditions, introducing their Polish friends to the customs and traditions of their culture, and participation in Polish cultural life (Polish cinema, Polish theater, Polish exhibitions, and concerts of Polish artists). The analysis of the surveyed indicators shows that the vast majority of the respondents (approx. 70–80%) integrate with the host society to a high degree. The vast majority of the respondents (nearly 90%) claimed that they familiarize their Polish friends with their national culture. Sixty-five percent of the respondents claimed that they participate in Polish cultural life very often or often. However, it is still necessary to take care of this group of immigrants who have problems with integration, so there is a need to modify integration policies, as well as to introduce intercultural education to schools and universities in a wider scope.

Głównym celem artykułu była identyfikacja zmian w procesie podejmowania decyzji zakupu przez nabywców pakietów wakacyjnych pod wpływem pandemii wirusa COVID-19. Do jego osiągnięcia przeprowadzono kwerendę literatury naukowej, a także badania nabywców usług turystycznych (N =1502) dotyczące problematyki realizowania podróży przed pandemią oraz w czasie jej trwania. Dane zostały zgromadzone techniką sondażu pośredniego, tj. Computer Assited Web Interview (CAWI), a do ich analizy posłużyły metody statystyki opisowej. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły na pozyskanie nowej wiedzy na temat wzorców zachowań nabywców spakietyzowanych podróży turystycznych oraz wyróżnienie czterech segmentów rynku imprez turystycznych. Najliczniej reprezentowane w badaniu kategorie zachowań nabywców (łącznie blisko 95% przed pandemią i nieco ponad 92% wskazań w jej trakcie) potwierdzają rolę Internetu w procesach dokonywania zakupów przez klientów biur podróży oraz tendencję postępującej wirtualizacji zachowań nabywców na rynku turystycznym. W trakcie trwania pandemii COVID-19 w przypadku zakupu zorganizowanych imprez turystycznych zaobserwowano, iż zdecydowanie rzadziej niż przed jej wystąpieniem nabywcy zorganizowanych pakietów przenoszą do sieci cały proces zakupowy, a więc zarówno poszukują informacji na temat ofert biur podróży, jak i dokonują zakupów w Internecie.
The main aim of the article was to identify changes in the purchasing decision-making process of holiday package buyers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A query of the scientific literature was carried out, as well as research on the buyers of tourist services (N = 1502) on the issues of travel before and during the pandemic was conducted. The data was collected using the indirect survey technique, i.e. computer assisted web interview (CAWI), and the methods of descriptive statistics were used for their analysis. The obtained results made it possible to acquire new knowledge about the behaviour patterns of buyers of packaged holidays and to distinguish four segments of the tourists. The categories of buyers’ behaviour most frequently represented in the study (in total almost 95% before and slightly over 92% of indications during the pandemic) confirm the role of the Internet in the purchasing processes of travel agencies customers and the tendency of progressive virtualization of buyers’ behaviour in the tourist market. During the COVID-19 pandemic, in the case of the purchase of holiday packages, it was observed that the buyers transfer the entire purchasing process to the Internet much less frequently than before its occurrence, i.e. they both look for information about travel agencies offers and make purchases on the Internet.

Cel artykułu/hipoteza: Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja i ocena potencjalnych skutków nowej regulacji: "wakacji kredytowych", uchwalonych przez polski sejm w czerwcu 2022 r., z punktu widzenia kluczowych interesariuszy: aktualnych złotowych kredytobiorców hipotecznych, pozostałych klientów (i potencjalnych klientów) banków, banki, ich właścicieli, instytucje sieci bezpieczeństwa finansowego oraz całą gospodarkę i pośrednio społeczeństwo. Artykuł dowodzi tezy, że analizowane przepisy nie spełniają warunków dobrej regulacji, a w szczególności naruszona jest zasada efektywności i sprawiedliwości norm. Metodyka: W artykule zastosowano podejście pozytywnej ekonomicznej analizy prawa, wykorzystując metodę dedukcyjną. Wyniki/Rezultaty badania: Przeprowadzona analiza regulacji wprowadzających „wakacje kredytowe” w Polsce w latach 2022-2023 prowadzi do wniosku, że w krótkim okresie jedynymi beneficjentami nowych przepisów będzie część kredytobiorców (osoby z aktywnymi umowami złotowych kredytów hipotecznych) oraz regulatorzy. Negatywne konsekwencje analizowanych przepisów obciążą pozostałych klientów, same banki i ich właścicieli oraz gospodarkę. Pewne negatywne konsekwencje mogą dotknąć kredytobiorców w dłuższym terminie. Pośrednim długofalowym efektem przepisów zwiększających ochronę wybranej grupy klientów może być zaburzenie rozwoju świadomości finansowej społeczeństwa, co utrudni samodzielne, odpowiedzialne zarządzanie finansami osobistymi, ale – co istotniejsze - także zwiększenie oczekiwań na rozszerzenie tej ochrony, zakłócającej procesy wolnorynkowe. Przeprowadzona analiza doprowadziła do wniosku, że regulacja nie spełnia postulatu sprawiedliwej i efektywnej, jej łączne konsekwencje mogą być niebezpieczne nie tylko dla banków i ich właścicieli, ale także dla klientów, a łącznie - dla całej polskiej gospodarki.
The purpose of the article/hypothesis: The aim of the article is to identify and assess the potential effects of the new regulation: "credit holidays", enacted by the Polish Sejm in June 2022, from the perspective of key stakeholders: current PLN mortgage borrowers, other customers (and potential customers) of banks, banks, bank shareholders, financial safety net institutions, and the economy. The hypothesis of the article states that the introduced regulations do not meet the conditions of good regulation, and in particular the principle of effectiveness and fairness of norms is violated.  Methodology: The article uses the approach of positive economic analysis of law using the deductive method.  Results of the research: The analysis of regulations introducing 'credit holidays' in Poland in 2022-23 leads to the conclusion that, in the short term, the only beneficiaries of the new regulations will be some borrowers (people with active PLN mortgage loan contracts) and regulators. The negative consequences of the analyzed regulations will be borne by other customers, the banks themselves and their owners, and - if other conditions are met - by the entire banking sector, and the economy. Some negative consequences may affect borrowers in longer term. An indirect long-term effect of regulations increasing protection of a selected group of clients may be disruption of development of financial awareness of the society, which will make independent, responsible management of personal finances more difficult, but also increase expectations for extension of this protection, disrupting free market processes. The analysis carried out has led to the conclusion that the regulation does not meet the postulate of being fair and effective, its cumulative consequences may be dangerous not only for banks and their owners, but also for customers, and collectively for the entire Polish economy.

W artykule podjęta jest próba zdiagnozowania współczesnego ususu ortograficznego w zakresie pisowni nazwy święta Wszystkich Świętych w języku polskim. Przestawione zostały dane pochodzące z tekstów gazet, czasopism, środków masowego przekazu, głównych portali informacyjnych, internetowych stron jednostek administracji publicznej, instytucji państwowych, instytucji edukacyjnych, wydawnictw naukowych, z internetowych stron katolickich, a także dane korpusowe oraz ankietowe. Świadczą one o tym, że współczesny uzus w zakresie pisowni nazwy święta jest rozchwiany, co może świadczyć o rodzeniu się alternatywnych nazw święta Wszystkich Świętych.
The article attempts to diagnose the contemporary spelling usus in relation to the Polish name of holiday Wszystkich Świętych. Data from the texts of newspapers, magazines, mass media, main information portals, websites of public administration units, state institutions, educational institutions, scientific publications, Catholic websites, as well as corpus and questionnaire data are presented. They testify to the fact that the contemporary usage of the spelling of the name is unstable, which may indicate the birth of alternative names for the holiday.

Pandemia COVID-19 wymusiła zmiany w obszarze praktyk rodzinnych, w tym tych związanych z celebrowaniem świąt. Tradycyjne rytuały i utrwalone sposoby demonstrowania rodzinności musiały ulec natychmiastowym i często niechcianym modyfikacjom. Wyniki badania pokazują reakcje na te zmiany, które to objęły otwartość na nowe sposoby świętowania, ulgę związaną z pożegnaniem starych rytuałów, jak i negatywne oceny modyfikacji praktyk celebrowania. Analiza zmian rodzinnych praktyk związanych ze świętowaniem pozwoliła na stworzenie bardziej uniwersalnej typologii postaw wobec zmian praktyk rodzinnych w dobie kryzysów społecznych.
The COVID-19 pandemic engendered changes in the area of family practices, including those related to the celebration of holidays. Traditional rituals and familiar ways of demonstrating familiarity had to undergo immediate and often unwanted modifications. The research results show reactions to these changes, which encompass embracing new practices, relief connected with forgoing old rituals, as well as negative evaluations of the modified family celebration practices. The analysis of the changes in holidays-related family practices resulted in a more universal proposal of attitudes towards changing family practices during social crises.

Ruda Pabianicka jako miasto funkcjonowała jedynie przez 16 lat, a mianowicie w latach 1923–1939. Przez ten stosunkowo krótki okres władze miasta oraz jego mieszkańcy starali się wypracować własne tradycje, wśród których wymienić warto obchody świąt narodowych. Na obchody te składały się uroczystości religijne zarówno w kościele katolickim, jak i ewangelickim, a ponadto uroczystości kulturalne, czyli przedstawienia, projekcje filmów czy koncerty, a także imprezy sportowe. Wspomniane działania miały też na celu budowanie tożsamości miasta i wzbudzanie lokalnego patriotyzmu.
Ruda Pabianicka functioned as a town only for 16 years, namely in the years 1923–1939. During this relatively short period, the city authorities and its inhabitants tried to develop their own traditions, including the celebration of national holidays. These celebrations included both religious ceremonies, both in the Catholic and Evangelical churches, as well as cultural celebrations, i.e. performances, film screenings, concerts, and sports events. The aforementioned activities were also aimed at building the city’s identity and arousing local patriotism.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie i omówienie najważniejszych potrzeb Kościoła wynikających ze sprawowania kultu Bożego, którym wierni zobowiązani są zaradzać, zgodnie z kan. 222 § 1 KPK. Omawiając tematykę zaradzania potrzebom Kościoła, konieczne jest odwołanie się do polskiego prawodawstwa świeckiego, ponieważ wierny przynależy także do wspólnoty państwowej. Ważna jest odpowiedź na następujące pytania: czy ustawodawca świecki zapewnia każdemu obywatelowi – katolikowi możliwość uczestniczenia we Mszy Świętej w niedzielę i święta, czy Kult Boży i zakaz handlu w niedzielę i dni świąteczne jest objęty ochroną prawną, jeśli tak, to w jakim zakresie.
The purpose of the article is to present and discuss the most important needs of the Church arising from the worship of God, which the faithful are obliged to meet, in accordance with can. 222 § 1 Code of Canon Law. When discussing the subject of addressing the needs of the Church, it is necessary to refer to Polish secular legislation, because the faithful also belongs to the state community. It is important to answer the following questions, whether the secular legislature provides every Catholic citizen the opportunity to participate in the Holy Mass on Sunday and church holidays, whether the Cult of God and the prohibition of trade on Sunday and public holidays is protected by law, if so, to what extent.

The Vladimir Lenin Steelworks and other state-owned enterprises in Nowa Huta, the eastern district of Cracow, ran a number of holiday centres all over Poland and encouraged their staff to spend their leave in those places with their family members and colleagues. This form of organized leisure was also promoted by the press. So for example Głos Nowej Huty, a weekly issued by the Workers’ Council of the VL Steelworks, published articles showing the attractions and, occasionally, problems of individual holiday homes. At the same time readers were encouraged to file in their application in good time. The publicity contributed to the success of this type of organized leisure — the number of people who took up this offer increased year on year throughout that period.
Huta im. Lenina i inne zakłady zlokalizowane w dzielnicy oferowały wypoczynek w licznych zakładowych ośrodkach wczasowych całego kraju. Można tam było spędzać czas w gronie rodziny i znajomych. Pracownicy byli zachęcani do korzystania z oferty wypoczynku także za pomocą prasy. „Głos Nowej Huty” — Tygodnik Samorządu Pracowniczego HiL, przypominał o konieczności złożenia stosownych dokumentów, prezentował reportaże z pobytu w tych ośrodkach — opisując atrakcje czekające na wypoczywających, ale także wskazując na zanied-bania. Nowohucianie dość szybko przekonali się do tego sposobu spędzania urlopu i liczba wczasowiczów z roku na rok rosła.

Opis:
Since 1st July, 2018, the provisions of the 24th November, 2017 Act on package travel and linked travel arrangements, which deals with the rights of wronged tourists under the so-called spoiled holiday have been in force. The Act on package travel replaced the previous regulation, resulting from the 29th August 1997 Act on hotel tour leaders and tourist guides services, introducing a much broader scope of liability for entrepreneurs operating in the tourism industry, which was to facilitate the pursuit of claims. The article presents the method of repairing damage for the loss of pleasure from vacation in the previous and applicable legal status. Then, the author presents the course of court proceedings, both when the traveller decides to take group proceedings, as well as when he / she individually brings an action. The author draws attention to the need for the traveller to properly prepare for the civil proceedings due to the burden of proof on him/her, and also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of certain legal solutions.  
Od 1 lipca 2018 r. obowiązują przepisy ustawy z 24 listopada 2017 r. o imprezach turystycznych i powiązanych usługach turystycznych, która reguluje prawa podróżnych za "zmarnowany urlop". Ustawa o imprezach turystycznych zastąpiła poprzednią regulację wynikającą z ustawy z dnia 29 sierpnia 1997 r. o usługach hotelarskich oraz usługach pilotów wycieczek i przewodników turystycznych, wprowadzając zdecydowanie szerszy zakres odpowiedzialności przedsiębiorców działających w branży turystycznej, co miało ułatwić poszkodowanym dochodzenie roszczeń. W artykule przybliżono sposób naprawiania szkody za utratę przyjemności z wakacji w poprzednim oraz obowiązującym stanie prawnym. Następnie Autorka przedstawiła przebieg postępowania sądowego, zarówno w sytuacji gdy podróżny zdecyduje się na postępowanie grupowe, jak również gdy indywidualnie wytoczy powództwo. Autorka zwraca uwagę na konieczność właściwego przygotowania się przez podróżnego do procesu cywilnego ze względu na spoczywający na nim ciężar dowodu, omawia także wady i zalety poszczególnych rozwiązań prawnych.

The article shows the problems of people who, marked by extreme poverty, limit their functioning to meet basic needs, but in extreme difficulties they refer to God's interference, show their attitudes towards religion and characterize their own religious behavior. Some analyzes show the individual and social effects of life in the culture of poverty, including reducing the celebration of religious holidays to experiencing mainly material shortages.The article also contains the results of sociological research referring to homeless religiosity. The main source of the analysis are the "Diaries of the unemployed" published in 1933, as well as the contemporary "Diaries of the unemployed" published in the years 2003 - 2006. The biographical materials of the poor contain many religious threads of reflection on their own existence, on the sense of fighting poverty, a sense abandonment and loneliness. As indicated my research, the poor in extremely difficult problems, which cannot be remedied using proven mechanisms, they refer to spiritual issues - faith, doubt and loss of faith, the possibility of completing the decalogue. The article also tackles the issues of moral evaluation of poor behavior and their religious location.

Der Hofmannsthalkenner und -verehrer Walter Kappacher hat für seinen Roman Der Fliegenpalast (2009) auf seine fundierten Kenntnisse des Hofmannsthalschen OEuvres zurückgegriffen und umfangreiche Recherchen zum Autor und zu seiner Zeit angestellt. Daraus entstand ein dichtes Geflecht von intertextuellen Bezügen sowohl zu Werken von Hofmannsthal als auch zu dessen Lektüre, in das Kappacher ein breites kultur- und sozialgeschichtliches Panorama der ersten Jahrzehnte des vergangenen Jahrhunderts in Österreich verwob. Die Analyse der Konstruktion dieser scheinbar so selbstverständlich österreichischen Referenzen belegt, dass der Roman nur im Kontext der österreichischen Historie, sowie der österreichischen Literatur- und Kulturgeschichte adäquat analysiert und interpretiert werden kann.
In his novel Der Fliegenpalast, Walter Kappacher, an expert on and admirer of Hugo von Hofmannsthal, drew on his profound knowledge of Hofmannsthal’s work, as well as researching extensively on the author and his time. This resulted in a dense fabric of intertextual references to both Hofmannsthal’s work and his reading. Interwoven with this biographical narration is a broad socio-historic panorama of the first decades of the 20th century in Austria. An analysis of the construction of seemingly self-evident Austrian references proves that this novel can only be adequately analyzed and interpreted in the context of Austrian political as well as literary and cultural history.

Summary: The article is based on the study of informal features of celebrating the former national holiday, the Republic Day (of the SFRY), in post-socialist Slovenia: Yugonostalgic parties, concerts, political graffiti and street art, songs, various public events, news in the media and internet events (holiday greetings, Facebook groups, blogs, virtual Yugoslavias etc.). In the research I applied a combination of the usual cultural-studies methods (urban ethnography, sociology of time and critical visual semiology), which deals with these phenomena from the point of its production (top-down) and from the point of its reception (bottom-up). These celebrations are, on the one hand, increasingly commodified (in the sense of pop-resistance, painless provocation, pure entertainment or profitable market niche), while on the other hand, they present a critique, challenge, opposition and symbolic alternative to contemporary Slovenian dominant ideological currents and politics (ethno-nationalism and neo-liberalism).

Opis:
Freedom of conscience and confession is a right of every human being to profess a chosen religion or not to practice any religion and to practice it freely without consequences in the form of discrimination or privileging. Sometimes the implementation of this right is hindered by institutional solutions, tradition and prejudices, which prompts an individual to take legal steps. In Germany, the courts competent to consider cases in this field are the courts of general jurisdiction in the Länder. The Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht) deals with constitutional complaints about violations of the right of freedom of conscience, confession and religion by public authorities, shaping the standards of protection of this right in Germany. The article presents a wide spectrum of judgments regarding discriminatory treatment of a person because of their religion and beliefs, equality of churches and denominations and the state policy towards churches. These judgments prove that religious freedom is not treated by the Tribunal as absolute freedom.
