Opis:
The idea of the new engine results that is possible increasing of the work efficiency of the engine. novel engine of higher efficiency development and the novel method of cylinder filling, piston stop study, dual heat path, piston cooling, combustion chamber pressure development in the constant volume phase, stress containment in the non moving piston, emissions with the direct injection installation. The creature of the solution consists in the realization the process of the combustion at the constant of the volume combustion chambers. It is realized with a piston stand during the period of combustion process. This permits on maximum pressure increasing and average indicated pressure. The enlargement of the efficiency is obtained, and finally - decrease of fuel consumption. Whereas at such itself average indicated pressure, the maximum decrease appears. This development's intention is to answer the question of alternate method of production of mechanical power from the expanding medium. The novel engine of higher efficiency development and novel engine of higher efficiency patents address the means and methods of exchange of spent or burned gasses for the fresh charge of air or fuel-air mixture in the two stroke configuration using the circular cross section pistons like the conventional four and two stroke engines mentioned above and the practical method of stopping the piston mid cycle that will create a constant volume combustion chamber for the duration of the combustion process.

Opis:
Thermal impedance measurement of semiconductor devices is one of the standard and well established methods of characterization. From such measurements can be obtained not only behavioral information in the form of graphs or models for thermal simulation, but also structural information about the thermal path involved, from source to sink, that can be very useful in device assembly process characterization and control. Structural information, however, usually requires many processing steps of measured data with its associated calculation burden and numerical errors. This work proposes a method to extract structural information from measured data in a straightforward way, with very few and elementary calculations, thus providing a useful analysis tool.

Opis:
This study presents the results of research using an eye-tracking technique which enables following eyeball movements while solving a scientific task. Also presented is an analysis of the visual attention for participants (further called subjects) of a different mathematical experience while solving a mathematics test task. The aim of the research is to determine the profile of methods of solution of tasks which require the analysis of a diagram. The research opens new cognitive possibilities in mathematics didactics by showing the utility of the eye-tracking technique in a deeper recognition of the processes of learning and teaching Maths.

Opis:
This paper proposes a novel autonomous underwater vehicle path planning algorithm in a cluttered underwater environment based on the heat method. The algorithm calculates the isotropic and anisotropic geodesic distances by adding the direction and magnitude of the currents to the heat method, which is named the anisotropy-based heat method. Taking account of the relevant influence of the environment on the cost functions, such as currents, obstacles and turn of the vehicle, an efficient collision-free and energy-optimized path solution can be obtained. Simulation results show that the anisotropy-based heat method is able to find a good trajectory in both static and dynamic clutter fields (including uncertain obstacles and changing currents). Compared with the fast marching (FM) algorithm, the anisotropy-based heat method is not only robust, flexible, and simple to implement, but it also greatly saves time consumption and memory footprint in a time-variant environment. Finally, the evaluation criteria of paths are proposed in terms of length, arrival time, energy consumption, and smoothness.
