W niniejszym artykule omówiono wewnętrzne zmiany globalizacji, które pozornie wyglądają jak stagnacja. W konsekwencji jego celem było wskazanie najistotniejszych czynników modelujących w historii, a także obecnie zmieniających proces globalizacji. Artykuł opisuje kluczowe zmiany, do których można zaliczyć np. zastąpienie G7 przez G20, propozycje zmian instytucjonalnych, zmiany technologiczne, w zakresie np. sztucznej inteligencji, robotyki, gospodarki cyfrowej, oraz omówienie ich konsekwencji w kontekście zmian procesu globalizacji.
The decline in global gross product or the lack of global trade growth indicates a stagnation of globalization, many scientists or journalists, with “The Economist” at the forefront, fearing its end. This article discusses the issue of globalization internal changes. As a consequence, the aim of this paper is to identify the most important factors changing the process of the globalization. The article describes key changes, such as the replacement of G7 by G20, technological changes in the field of, e.g., artificial intelligence, robotics and the digital economy, showing the possible consequences of changes in the global economy.

The crisis is a notion frequently mentioned in the life of current society. The crisis is commonly spoken about in relation to economy, less is said about crisis in society, family or politics, but today we use to speak about crisis in values, traditions and individual conscience. If we accept this approach we can say that the crisis is in everything. To master principles of communication in crisis, to be aware of their ethical dimensions are inevitable for any professional helping other persons. The lack of cognition in this field can lead for example to such absurd situations in which the rescuer helps a drawing man though he cannot swim himself. To draw a detailed picture, we will be dealing only with one helping profession-the profession of a policeman. The reason for this selection is that the policemen are usually the first to solve crisis situations, especially in interpersonal relations. We have narrowed our investigation to the most frequent crisis situations and their ethical, social and optimal solutions within the frame of policeman performance. We would like to help others, who would like to be involved in crisis intervention issue, and thus their communication via model situation training would not only be ethical, but primarily efficient reaching satisfactory results.

Transport is generally an instrument for globalization. It is not possible to use transport as an instrument for de-globalization. For compensating the negative effects of globalization on regional- and local markets a world-wide sustainable development process is to be started. This is an idea propagated by United Nations since the publishing of the Brundtland- -Report. Sustainability has three components: the social, the ecological and the economic sustainability. ECONOMIC sustainability is realized when the (transport) enterprises make no profits and setting the prices is following a price-wage-rule. This rule postulates that the price and wage have to be equal. However, transport can also set incentives for social and ecological sustainability. Transport is no instrument for de-globalization, but an important instrument for compensating the negative effects of globalization. The measures which transport policy has to realize sustainability are not new, but we need to a new world-wide concept for transport policy. We have to accept, that the world is one economic area and not more than two hundred areas. We need only one set of economic rules and not over hundred different sets of rules.

As defined globalization movement of goods, capital, the movement of people and ideas across the world. The economic dimension of globalization is based on the disappearance of barriers to trade between countries. That disappearance of barriers is a growing process which comprises more areas of the globe, although it should be emphasized that a variety of reasons, some areas of the world remain excluded from it. Globalization is not a new phenomenon, because in the history of the world, people have always traded with each other, traveling and got to know each other. Moreover, in the history of mankind, there are periods in which the processes taking place already similar in some respects to contemporary globalization. Show here can rise to the Roman Empire, the colonization of the New World and the creation of the United States and other countries postcolonial. Today, due to advances in technology, these processes occur much faster and on a larger scale, including, as the name suggests, the entire globe.

The World Council of Churches (WCC) is the biggest and the most impactful ecumenical organization. It considers itself to be an area where Christians from all corners of the world meet. Yet apart from theological dialogue, from the very beginning the WCC has emphasized its social commitment. It is manifested in the in-depth reflection on social and political issues, in various programmes which fight against social problems, and in the contribution to the global debate on the future of the world. For two decades, theologians from the WCC have acknowledged that economic and cultural globalization are fundamental challenges for the world. In their opinion, globalization results in increasing poverty, particularly in the countries of the Global South, and in various social and political crises across the world. In order to face the threats related to globalization, they promote its different nature, one employing technological progress as well as an increase of social awareness concerning globalization. In the perspective of the WCC, Christianity, and the ecumenical movement in particular, has an inalienable task to inspire a new order in the globalizing world.

The concept of sustainable development has been formulated at a time when modern humanity gained the technological means to carry out almost any transformation of the world around us, but, at the same time also got lost in the goals that their actions should serve. This is connected with the phenomenon of globalization based on egoistic axiology, the priority of which is the uncompromising pursuit of maximum profit. Fortunately, the other globalization – called inclusive globalization – is possible. It is based on eco-humanistic axiology, referring to the common good and coherent with sustainable development concept. The article presents threats and challenges of the contemporary globalization, looking for the solutions that can make our future sustainable.
Koncepcja rozwoju zrównoważonego została sformułowana w momencie, gdy współczesny człowiek posiadł środki techniczne umożliwiające niemal dowolne przekształcanie otaczającego świata, ale zarazem zagubił się w celach, którym te działania powinny służyć. Jednym z istotnych czynników jest tu zjawisko globalizacji opartej na aksjologii egoistycznej, której celem jest nieustanne pomnażanie zysków. Ale jest możliwa także inna globa-lizacja, zwana globalizacją inkluzjonistyczną. Jest ona oparta na aksjologii ekohumanistycznej, odwołującej się do wspólnego dobra i zgodnej z koncepcją rozwoju zrównoważonego. W artykule przedstawiono zagrożenia i wyzwania związane z globalizacją, poszukując rozwiązań, które mogły-by uczynić przyszłość zrównoważoną.

The globalization in the contemporary global economy is a fact. There are many enthusiasts and critics of that process, what caused that it is hard to dispel indisputably all doubts refer to the globalization. Strategies carried out by transnational corporations usually do not correspond to the interests of host economies. Moreover, transnational character of production does not guarantee that disparities between developed and developing economies will be eliminated or even reduced. It seems that participation in globalization process requires incurring particular economic costs. However, an ability to profit from the globalization, while minimizing its negative effects, is expected to play an important role in the development of contemporary economies.

The paper gathers and organizes the key events of the evolution of standardization and quality management systems in the global food sector with the special focus on the dairy industry. The quality is one of more important elements of modern business strategies - quality of products and services, but also the quality of administration, organization, work and environment. 
Współcześnie w działalności gospodarczej na świecie zauważalny jest wzrost zainteresowania problematyką jakości. Zarządzanie przez jakość zaczyna być działaniem powszednim w polskich przedsiębiorstwach oraz perspektywą przetrwania w XXI wieku. Systemy zarządzania jakością oraz zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa zdrowotnego żywności są jednym z aspektów nowoczesnego zarządzania i coraz szerzej są wdrażane w przemyśle spożywczym. Od połowy XX wieku mamy do czynienia z postępującą globalizacją gospodarki. Międzynarodowa wymiana dóbr jest coraz powszechniejsza i szybsza dzięki nowym możliwościom technicznym. Przepływ towarów i usług napotyka wciąż jednak szereg barier. Należą do nich bariery techniczne, z których znaczna część wynika z odmienności norm technicznych stosowanych w poszczególnych krajach. Niezbędne staje się więc ujednolicanie tych norm na szczeblu ponadnarodowym. Cel ten realizują międzynarodowe i regionalne organizacje normalizacyjne zrzeszające krajowe jednostki normalizacyjne z poszczególnych państw.

The paper discusses some aspects of the transport industry’s impact on the process of globalization in the world economy. Emphasis is put on the emerging new trends in that area, and in particular on the reverse globalization frequently referred to as “de-globalization”. While the latter concept provides ground for controversy, it seems that it has become visible in the number of trades and in particular in food trades which engage a considerable portion of the world transport system’s carrying capacity. Moving back to local production of food, one of many areas where the process of de-globalization appears to have started, might liberate vast reserves of transport capacity worldwide while, simultaneously, it will contribute to the reduction of transport-generated pollution. Arguments for such a solution are raised in the paper as is the necessity for more in-depth analysis in this field.

The paper tries to carry on a philosophical analysis of some antinomies of the process we describe as globalization. Various conceptual approaches make it possible to understand the globalization as transformation of the everyday personal life structures. The author begins with the analysis of the place of globalization notion in currently happening social life transformations - universalization and emancipation. He takes note of replacing the notion of universalization by globalization despite the ambiguity of both notions and frequent opposition of their features. Then he presents analysis of social life in political, economic and cultural spheres, in order to draw attention to the relation between national state, nation and international corporation, being a representative of globalization. This analysis leads to the conclusion that globalization is not a complimentary process to universalization, but is one of the symptoms of emancipation processes. This results in the author's conclusion that globalization does not threaten the existence of national states and nations.

Since 1950, from the time of rapid acceleration of the globalization process, there have been significant changes in the sphere of human identity. Human identity became liquidated and detached from the communities. The model of an individualized individual identity was developed. This process creates a number of dangers in the personal and social areas. The feeling of lack and loneliness increases, and all this process gave birth to – by a Eric’s Fromm – conception of escape from freedom. This article is an attempt to describe these dangers and suggest measures to reduce their impact.

The purpose of the article was to show the importance of globalization for modern economies. Presenting the concept of globalization and its essence makes an assumption that it affects all aspects of human activity legitimate. Globalization is a multi-threaded term consisting of complex processes. The article presents various definitions of this concept and division of economic globalization factors. However, their clear division is not possible, because they occur in cause and effect relationships. The effects of globalization felt by individual entities depend on the degree of economic development or qualifications. The problem of the ambiguity of the impact of globalization on the modern world lies not in globalization itself but in the way it is interpreted. The article also presents globalization after 2008 and possible scenarios for the future stage of globalization.
Celem artykuły było ukazanie znaczenia globalizacji dla współczesnych gospodarek. Przedstawienie pojęcia globalizacji i zaprezentowanie jej istoty pozwoliło zauważyć, że oddziałuje ona na wszystkie aspekty działalności człowieka. Globalizacja jest terminem wielowątkowym, składającym się ze złożonych procesów. W artykule przedstawiono różne definicje tego pojęcia. Zaprezentowano podział czynników globalizacji gospodarczej. Jednak ich wyraźny podział nie jest możliwy, gdyż występują one w związkach przyczynowo-skutkowych. Skutki globalizacji, odczuwane przez poszczególne podmioty, zależą od stopnia rozwoju gospodarczego lub posiadanych kwalifikacji. Problem dwuznaczności wpływu globalizacji na współczesny świat nie leży w niej samej, ale w sposobie jej interpretowania. W artykule zaprezentowano także globalizację po 2008 roku i możliwe scenariusze dotyczące przyszłego etapu globalizacji.

We observe a number of evolutionary processes common to many societies, which form the general social effect, in particular in the form of globalization of education. Becoming a dominant trend in the development of the world economy and education, globalization has a transformative impact on national systems of higher education. The article is devoted fundamental problems and values strategies of education. Examines the impact of globalization trends on the processes in societies in transformation transitive systems. The necessity of pluralism of paradigms on the way of new development in higher education is substantiated. The quality of education, in turn, is determined not only by the ability of society to quickly assimilate the knowledge gained. It is increasingly dependent on its moral, ethical and cultural components, that is, elements of the education system, its quality management. The educational process appears in this context as an object of both pedagogical and managerial, and social analysis in the context of the implementation of educational, educational and educational trends in global development in the European educational system.

Artykuł poświęcony jest sektorowi transportowemu krajów azjatyckich i jego związkom z rozwojem gospodarczym. Szczególną uwagę autor zwraca na transport morski, który jest podstawową formą przewozów w handlu międzynarodowym z tego regionu. Ponadto, wysokie tempo rozwoju gospodarczego Chin, Indii oraz innych gospodarek azjatyckich sprzyja wzrostowi ich konsumpcji wewnętrznej. Wzrost zamożności społeczeństw przyczyni się z kolei do rozwoju sektora transportowego w tych krajach.
The article looks at the relationship between economic development of Asia and the role transport sector has played in this development, especially the maritime transport, the main mode of transport for international trade. However, the economic expansion of China, India and other rapidly growing economies in Asia, may soon modify its course; from mostly export-driven growth to the one based on the increasing domestic consumption. Such a change of the course of economic development will impact the structure of Asian transport systems towards stronger domestic transport industries.

The specificity of changes that takes place on the broadest – id est world wide – scale very often encourages the observers of the undergoing process to use the term of “globalization”. Both the superficial and the thorough reading of publications that analyse the multithreaded character of current changes allow us to find out in how many cases and how often the above term is declined. Widespread referring to this term effected in a difficulty to understand it. Moreover, so far it has prevented a generally adopted definition for it to be drawn. Finally, this situation led to discussions and disputes concerning the correct understanding of globalization. The diversity of definitions creates an opportunity to undertake an attempt to create a general definition that will be shared across many disciplines. This may lead to concordance in understanding the process of globalization. All definitions referring to globalization that are used in this work are derived from publications that – to greater or lesser extent – describe topics concerning globalization. Due to the extent of material, a few groups of terms that describe globalization were created. Every of them contains a set of views with similar characteristics used by their authors in order to explain the phenomenon of globalization. This resulted in creation of various groups of understanding of this process. These, for example, refer to the reason for which the globalization occurred or to the social, cultural or economic dimension of it.
Specyfika przemian dokonujących się w najszerszej – bo ogólnoświatowej skali – skłania obserwatorów dokonujących się procesów do częstego używania terminu „globalizacja”. Zarówno pobieżna, jak i uważna lektura publikacji analizujących wielowątkowy charakter współczesnych przemian pozwala przekonać się, w jak wielu przypadkach i jak często odmienia się powyższy termin. Powszechne niemal odnoszenie się do tego terminu stworzyło trudność w jednoznacznym jego rozumieniu; co więcej, uniemożliwiło, jak do tej pory, utworzenie ogólnie przyjętej jego definicji. Ostatecznie sytuacja ta doprowadziła do dyskusji i sporów o właściwe rozumienie globalizacji. Różnorodność określeń stwarza okazję do podjęcia próby utworzenia ogólnego – wspólnego dla wielu dyscyplin – określenia. Być może doprowadzi to do zgodności w rozumieniu procesu globalizacji. Wszystkie określenia globalizacji zestawione w powyższym opracowaniu pochodzą z publikacji podejmujących zagadnienia związane w mniejszym lub większym stopniu z procesem globalizacji. W związku z obszernością materiału utworzono kilka grup określeń opisujących globalizację. Każda z nich zawiera zestaw ujęć o podobnych cechach, użytych przez ich autorów w celu wyjaśnienia fenomenu globalizacji. W ten sposób utworzyły się różne grupy rozumienia tego procesu, na przykład związane z przyczyną powstania globalizacji, czy też ze społecznym, kulturowym lub gospodarczym jego wymiarem.

The subject of the article is Peter Singer’s „ethics of globalization” presented in his book of year 2002 One World. The Ethics of Globalization – translated into Polish language in year 2006 – towards contemporary proposals of dealing with ethical problems of globalization. Singer’s reflection on global problems solutions, eg. climate changes, disparities of economic development, etc. brings many valuable observations on moral condition of the contemporary world. In terms of normative sphere, it appears to be profoundly less constructive. The concept of the global government as an ethical subject, which he develops at the end of his observations, does not take into account negative experiences of UN. In such aspect, it constitutes a step back towards alterglobalistic concepts, which did not create satisfying theories of a new social ethical subject, but put emphasis on a problem of forceless and seeming actions of contemporary political elites. Peter Singer seems to avoid noticing such problem.

Russian economy in the 20th century experienced complex transformational processes. Havingintroduced the principles of a market economy, Russia has found itself under pressures of globalizationand neoindustrialization, which have had an effect on the nation’s industrial structure. Globalization hasexpanded state borders and opened the gates for Russian entrepreneurs to conquer world markets in oiland gas, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, engineering and chemical industries. The Urals region of Russiais developing in a very intensive way. The production cluster known as “Titanium Valley” was formedhere. This article throws light on some of the special features of its activity.

Let (X,τ) be a topological space. Let Φ be a class of real-valued functions defined on X. A function ϕ ∈ Φ is called a local Φ-subgradient of a function f:X → ℝ at a point $x_0$ if there is a neighbourhood U of $x_0$ such that f(x) - f($x_0$) ≥ ϕ(x) - ϕ($x_0$) for all x ∈ U. A function ϕ ∈ Φ is called a global Φ-subgradient of f at $x_0$ if the inequality holds for all x ∈ X. The following properties of the class Φ are investigated: (a) when the existence of a local Φ-subgradient of a function f at each point implies the existence of a global Φ-subgradient of f at each point (globalization property), (b) when each local Φ-subgradient can be extended to a global Φ-subgradient (strong globalization property).
