Opis:
The cash flows of an investment project are influenced by several factors. All the factors influencing fuzzy net present value of a project should be taken into account, together with their variability, in order to analyze the whole project, and to make the best decisions during the project’s life. In this paper a fuzzy global sensitivity analysis method is proposed for fuzzy net present value to determine the influences of the factors on the worth of an investment project. The results of the proposed method for an application are also interpreted.

Opis:
This paper analyzes the behaviour of a fuzzy expert system for evaluating the dependence among successive operator actions, through a sensitivity analysis on the fuzzy input partitioning and assessment. Preliminary results are presented with respect to a case study concerning two successive tasks of an emergency procedure in a nuclear reactor. Work is in progress to perform a thorough sensitivity analysis to generalize the results obtained.

Opis:
Fuzzy signatures were introduced as special tools to describe and handle complex systems without their detailed mathematical models. The input parameters of these systems naturally have uncertainties, due to human activities or lack of precise data. These uncertainties influence the final conclusion or decision about the system. In this paper we discuss the sensitivity of the weigthed general mean aggregation operator to the uncertainty of the input values, then we analyse the sensitivity of fuzzy signatures equipped with these aggregation operators. Finally, we apply our results to a fuzzy signature used in civil enginnering.

Opis:
The paper presents construction of the fuzzy logic system to analog circuits parametric fault diagnosis. The classical dictionary construction is replaced by fuzzy rule system. The first part refers to analog fault diagnosis, its techniques, approaches and goals. It clarifies common strategy and define differences between detecting, locating and identifying a fault in analog electronic circuit. The second part is focused on a creation of fuzzy rule expert system with use of sensitivity functions and known circuit topology. To detect, locate and identify a faulty element in a circuit the sensitivity matrix is used. The advantage of the method is its utilization in all, AC, DC and time domain. The fuzzy system, like the classical fault dictionary, can detect and locate single catastrophic faults and, on the contrary to the classical one, it also detects and locates parametric faults. Moreover, it allows identification of these faults, such that sign of the faulty parameter deviation is designated. The method has deterministic character as well as it can be applied on the verification and production stage.

Opis:
This study aims to analyse the sensitivity in decision-making which results in the selection of the appropriate underground metal mining method using the fuzzy-analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) model. The proposed model considers sixteen criteria for the selection of the most appropriate mining method out of the seven. The model consists of three-layer viz. the first layer represents the criteria (factors which influence the mining method), the second layer represents the sub-criteria (categorisation of the factors) and the third layer represents the alternatives (mining methods). The priority of the different mining methods was determined based on global weights. The global weights of seven mining method were determined using a different fuzzification factor under different decision-making attitudes (optimistic, pessimistic and unbiased). The sensitivity of the decision-making results was analysed in order to understand the robustness of the model.

Opis:
This paper describes an application of sensitivity theory to the analysis of a certain class of fuzzy systems which can be used for fault detection and isolation (FDI). The work is divided into three main tasks. The first is the mathematical representation of some class of fuzzy systems. This is followed by an application of sensitivity theory to fuzzy systems based on the approach detailed in the first part. Finally, this method is applied to a fuzzy fault diagnosis scheme for the two-tank system, and the results compared with those achieved by the application of sensitivity theory to a non-fuzzy diagnosis scheme for the same system. Simulation results for the fuzzy and non-fuzzy fault diagnosis schemes are presented, which verify the results obtained via the application of sensitivity theory.
