Opis:: The reported diagnosis supporting system was provided with knowledge base determined by the disease characteristic features descriptors that were recorded in conclusions table. Every descriptor defines the elementary rules related to every disease factor threshold value, recognised as a sign of the disease presence (the over-gone physiological state). The introduced definitions of the disease characteristics and some fuzzy logic proposals implementations were defined for the decision making system development.

Opis:: The decision problems are considered when the prior probabilistic information about the state of nature and decision maker's utility function are imprecisely defined. In such a case the risks (or the expected utility) of considered decisions are also imprecisely defined. We propose two-step procedure for finding the optimal decision. First, we order possible decisions using the lambda-average ranking method by Campos and Gonzalez [1]. Then we use possibilistic possibility of dominance and necessity of strict dominance indices proposed by Dubois and Prade [3] for the comparison of consequences of the most promising solutions.

Opis:: A notion for distance between hesitant fuzzy data is given. Using this new distance notion, we propose the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution for hesitant fuzzy sets and a new approach in modelling uncertainties. An illustrative example is constructed to show the feasibility and practicality of the new method.

Opis:: Przejście przez ograniczony rejon żeglugowy wiąże się z wyborem trasy lub też z decyzją o opóźnieniu czasu przejścia. Jest to decyzyjny wielokryterialny problem. Wśród ważnych subiektywnych parametrów są warunki, jakie statek spotyka w rejonach skrzyżowań lub połączeń tras. Prognoza dla konkretnego rejonu wymaga posługiwania się przybliżonymi ocenami oraz korzystania z wartości rozmytych. Arytmetyka wartości rozmytych to zbiór operacji na przedziałach. Oprócz typowych działań jak dodawanie czy mnożenie, dostępne są metody porównywania takich wielkości. Pozwala to na wykorzystanie rozszerzonych wersji popularnych środowisk budowy hierarchii.
Passing a restricted area the ship's master has to select one of the alternative routes or decide on a delayed passage. Among important imprecise and subjective values are congestions encountered within the regions including route crossings or junctions. To foresee traffic within a confined area the decision maker has to cope with imprecision and to use fuzzy numbers. Fuzziness is expressed by intervals. Interval arithmetic embraces typical operations such as addition or multiplication, but also enables the selection of possibility level as well as the comparison of such values. Consequently, extended popular hierarchy builders can be used for the selection of the best option.
