    When and why humanity faced the Energy Problem, it is a question. What was the problem? How are we trying to handle it since the beginning? Do we have enough resources of renewable energy? Which technologies are mature enough to contribute and take part in the solution? Are they available in the market with compatible prices? What is the role of storage for dealing with the intermittent nature of renewable energy resources? Why do we need to build, operate, integrate and manage energy efficiency, storage and renewable energy in harmony with nature by smart grids in sustainable cities of the future? Is transition to 100% Renewable Energy the solution? If so what else is required to reach this target? What are we going to do with the existing system? Which methodologies and techniques we need to use to realize this transition with minimum costs and externalities? How are we going to justify this transition? Is it only a technology problem? What parameters we need to consider when we are trying to live in harmony with nature? How are we going to readapt human beings to be satisfied with minimum ecological footprint societies? Can human beings build democratic societies where energy efficiency and 100% renewable energy is respected and beneficial for each individual of the communities? Transition to 100% renewables requires planning the future with the information of the future. For reaching this target we need to carry on a multidisciplinary approach to understand and take into consideration the basic constraints and requirements of the living space we are sharing all together in the atmosphere.     Studia wyższe mają przygotować studentów do podjęcia zadań zawodowych i społecznych. Realizacja tego zadania wiąże się z kształtowaniem postaw przedsiębiorczych wśród studentów w kontekście wyzwań współczesnego rynku pracy. Czas studiów jest jednocześnie ważnym okresem, związanym z kreowaniem siebie i własnej przyszłości jako głównym zadaniem rozwojowym. Przydatne w jego realizacji mogą się okazać tzw. umiejętności życiowe oznaczające pozytywne zachowania przystosowawcze, które pozwalają człowiekowi efektywnie radzić sobie z zadaniami i wyzwaniami codzienności. Zalicza się do nich grupy umiejętności związanych z kompetencjami interpersonalnymi, podejmowaniem decyzji i krytycznym myśleniem oraz kierowaniem sobą. Charakterystyka umiejętności życiowych wskazuje na ich związek z postawą przedsiębiorczości. Najczęściej podejmuje się analizę tych postaw wśród studentów kierunków ekonomicznych. Działania dotyczące przygotowania do podjęcia zadań zawodowych są jednak częścią całościowego myślenia o własnej przyszłości. Opierając się na jakościowej analizie działań autokreacyjnych studentów kierunków medycznych, technicznych oraz pedagogiki, chciałabym zwrócić uwagę na kategorie działań podejmowanych przez nich na rzecz kształtowania własnego rozwoju i przyszłości. Ogólnie badani studenci wskazują na aktywne nastawienie wobec przyszłości w różnych obszarach, co wiąże się także z przejawami przedsiębiorczości. Analiza poszczególnych obszarów autokreacji wskazuje także, że studenci różnych uczelni nieco odmiennie patrzą na własny rozwój i przyszłość. 
    Higher education should prepare students for undertaking professional and social tasks. The realization of these task is connected with developing entrepreneurial attitudes among students in the context of challenges of the contemporary job market. The period of studying is at the same time a very important period connected with the creation of self and one's own future as the main developmental task. Life skills indicating positive adaptation behaviours, which enable individuals to cope effectively with the tasks and challenges of everyday life, can prove very useful in this process. Such skills include the ones connected with interpersonal competences, decision-taking, critical thinking and self-management. The description of life skills points out at their relation with an entrepreneurial attitude. The analysis of this attitude is most frequently conducted among students of economic fields. However, all students think about their professional careers and undertake certain activities helping them enter the job market. The author would like to point at the categories of actions undertaken by students of  medical, technical and pedagogical fields aimed at shaping their own development and future. The study is based on the qualitative analysis of students' auto-creation actions. Generally, the students who took part in the study display an active orientation towards their future in different areas, which is also connected with certain manifestations of entrepreneurship. The analysis of the separate areas of auto-creation also indicates that students from different universities look at their own development and future in different ways.

    The proposed text is an illustration of selected conclusions from a four-module research project conducted in one of the Wielkopolska counties. The aim of the empirical verification was to: make the educational and professional characteristics of the junior high school plans, get acquainted with the opinions of the employers on the situation in the local labor market, get acquainted with the plans connected with the employment of employees, get acquainted with the preparation of graduates of particular types of schools to meet the opinion of the directors of post-gymnasium schools on the state of the vocational education and to get acquainted with the opinions of the students of the upper secondary school classes on the situation on the labor market, the offer of vocational education and the self-assessment of preparation to enter the labor market. The research was conducted in the first quarter of 2016 and 2017, by the diagnostic survey method. The article is based on one of the study modules – a study of middle school students that was conducted in 2016 – the findings from the 2017 study will be cited in some places for comparative purposes only. Due to the specificity of the research topic, the selection of the research sample was random. High school students (N = 486 in 2016 and N = 490 in 2017), upper secondary school students (N = 503 – 2016 and N = 498 – 2017), upper secondary school graduates (N = 6 in 2016 and 2017 ) and the largest employers (N = 78 in 2016, N = 102 in 2017). In this project the diagnostic survey method was used as the basis. The method used to analyze the contents was made using the local traditional (printed) and internet press and the thematic work edited by the County Labor Office in Gniezno and other institutions. The main topic of this paper was the educational and vocational elections of junior high school students in the context of the situation on the local labor market (which, as it turns out, does not correspond to its needs), revealing weaknesses in vocational counseling. Regarding the specific nature of the region, attention has also been paid to the face (as opposed to the offer) of vocational education (depicted in the vocational school 2017/2018) depreciated in the eyes of the local community, which in the reality of the local labor market seems to be a rational educational choice without causing closure Road to higher education. The dissertation on vocational education has been made an additional element of publication.

    Jedno z zadań okresu dorastania związane jest z przygotowaniem jednostki do pełnienia roli zawodowej. Cel artykułu został zogniskowany wokół analizy różnorodnych wyzwań towarzyszących wyborom młodzieży dotyczących planowania własnej kariery. Poszukując swojego miejsca w świecie i dookreślając swoją pozycję na rynku pracy, udziela odpowiedzi na pytania „kim jestem?”, „kim chcę oraz kim mogę być w niepewnej i zmiennej rzeczywistości?”. W tekście podjęto próbę przeglądu dylematów pojawiających się na drodze kształtowania własnej dojrzałości zawodowej człowieka ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na specyfikę elastycznego rynku pracy oraz koncepcje charakteryzujące sytuację zawodową młodych ludzi. Ich złożoność i wielowymiarowość, ukazuje heterogeniczność procesu projektowania przyszłości zawodowej przez młodzież, tym samym dowodząc konieczności intensyfikowania zabiegów edukacyjno-doradczych ukierunkowanych na budowanie jej świadomości w karierze i kompetencji niezbędnych do jej rozwijania.
    One of the tasks of adolescence is related to the preparation of an individual for a professional role. The aim of the article was focused on the analysis of various challenges accompanying the choices of young people regarding career planning. Searching for his place in the world and defining his position on the labor market, he answers the questions „who am I?”, „who do I want and who can I be in an uncertain and changing reality?”. The text attempts to review the dilemmas that appear in the process of shaping one’s own professional maturity, with particular emphasis on the specificity of a flexible labor market and concepts characterizing the professional situation of young people. Their complexity and multidimensionality shows the heterogeneity of the process of designing the professional future by young people, thus proving the need to intensify educational and counseling efforts aimed at building awareness in a career and competences necessary to develop it.

    Sustainable development is a theoretical concept, but the possibility of implementing it depends on skills and practical solutions. One practical solution is interdisciplinary planning. The basic criterion for the success of interdisciplinary planning and improvements in its quality and efficiency is continuous expansion of knowledge related to its role, the methods, tasks and responsibilities involved and experience gained. This can be considered as a necessary step in the further evolution of interdisciplinary planning. Taking these aspects into account, it could be claimed that interdisciplinary has become a principal condition for the existence of good planning. The aim of this article is to indicate the need for new resilience planning techniques relevant to the implementation of sustainable development, which include, among other things, scenario planning. According to the authors, this concept requires a resilient approach to developing future strategies for more dynamic activities in regions attracting a high number of tourists. In the empirical part, a case study is presented. Based on an analysis of the Development Strategy for Tourism in the Wielkopolska Region until 2020, missing elements are identified from the point of view of sustainable development. Despite references to sustainable development, neither resilience planning nor scenario planning were used.

    Tekst jest ilustracją wybranych wniosków płynących z czteromodułowego projektu badawczego przeprowadzonego w jednym z wielkopolskich powiatów (powiat gnieźnieński). Głównym celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wyborów edukacyjno-zawodowych młodzieży gimnazjalnej w kontekście sytuacji na lokalnym rynku pracy. W tym kontekście ujawniono słabości w zakresie doradztwa zawodowego i kondycji szkolnictwa zawodowego. Zwrócono również uwagę na zdeprecjonowane w oczach społeczności szkolnictwa zawodowe (od roku szkolnego 2017/2018 branżowe), które w realiach powiatowego rynku pracy zdaje się być racjonalnym wyborem edukacyjnym, niepowodującym zamknięcia drogi na wyższe uczelnie. Problemy szkolnictwa zawodowego i dyskusje na jego temat uczyniono dodatkowym elementem publikacji. Podejmowana w tekście problematyka dotyczy nauk społecznych, pedagogiki.
    The text illustrates selected conclusions from a four-module research project conducted in one of Wielkopolska counties, i.e. Gniezno county. The main aim of the article is to present educational and vocational choices of junior high school youth in the context of the situation on the local labour market. The authors reveal weaknesses in vocational counseling and in the condition of vocational education. Attention was also paid to the depreciated in the eyes of society vocational education (since the school year 2017/2018 industry education). Considering labour market realities in counties, such education seems to be a rational choice, not closing the path to universities. Problems of vocational education and discussions over it constitute an additional element of the paper. The topic taken up in this text falls within the scope of social sciences, pedagogy.

    This study attempts to find an answer to the question of how adolescents handle their educational and vocational career planning process in the context of cultural and economic transformations. It becomes particularly important to know how to knowingly shape one’s own vocational biography in the market environment characterized by competitiveness and a high unemployment rate. A diagnostic questionnaire method was applied in the research. A statistical analysis of the research results demonstrated three groups of young people that handle their career planning in diverse ways: one applying perspective strategies, one preferring strategies that focus on the present only and one group including people who gave up their planning of the future either following a conscious choice or due to practical helplessness. Each group requires different forms of counselling and educational support in shaping their vocational biographies and has different requirements towards vocational counselling. The counselling activities, as demonstrated by the research results, require increasingly more psychological and educational skills, significantly exceeding a narrowly defined professional orientation.

    Celem tego artykułu jest wprowadzenie do teorii i praktyki projektowej Benjamina Brattona. Jego słowa, że „patrzymy w przestrzeń kosmiczną i z niej z powrotem na Ziemię, żeby zrozumieć co powinna znaczyć planetarność”, wskazują na dwa kluczowe aspekty jego myśli, które omówię wraz z ich politycznymi konsekwencjami. Pierwszy polega na rozpoznaniu roli aparatów obliczeniowych jako warunku możliwości takich zjawisk jak kryzys klimatyczny. Drugi polega na opisie planetarnych środków produkcji oraz wytwarzanych przez nie przestrzeni suwerenności w ramach koncepcji Stosu. Rozważając politykę przyszłości, Bratton wyróżnia neokomunizm oraz neofeudalizm jako prawdopodobne scenariusze. Inspirując się jego myślą, formułuję dwa warunki konieczne racjonalnej polityki przyszłości: reorientację planetarnych aparatów obliczeniowych ku innym celom niż zysk i przeskalowanie planowania zarówno w czasie, jak i w przestrzeni. Omówienie pierwszych wyników programu badawczego The Terraforming pozwoli zobaczyć przez konkretne wizje działań w skali planetarnej możliwości egalitarnej i uniwersalnej polityczności.
    The purpose of this paper is to introduce the theory and practice of Benjamin Bratton. His statement that “we look out into space, and from space back down to Earth to orient what planetarity should mean” indicate a two key aspects of his thought, which I discuss along with their political consequences. The first one is the recognition of planetary-scale computation as the condition for the possibility of phenomena such as climate catastrophe. The second one is the analysis of the planetary-scale means of production and the spaces of sovereignty they create. To achieve this, Bratton constructs a model of The Stack. Thinking about the future of politics, he speculates about two possible scenarios: neofeudalism and neocommunism. Inspired by his work, I formulate two necessary conditions of the rational politics of the future: the reorientation of planetary-scale computation to other purposes than a profit, and the rescaling of planning in both time and space. Elaborating on the first results of The Terraforming programme enables us to glimpse the possibility of an egalitarian and universal future through concrete projects.

    In his article the Author tried to present issues connected to the management of companies of the future in relation to strategic management. On the basis of reference literature and his own practical experience in management, the Author put a particular emphasis on necessary competences of the managers of the future. He underlined that a strategy shall be created on the basis of a strategic diagnosis of the environment and the company’s internal character, as well as on strategic planning, since they both constitute strategic management tools.

    Opis:
    Futurology (also futures studies) is a field of knowledge which has emerged as a result of the interdisciplinary problematisation of specific cognitive issues. The main objective of futurology is the creation of hypothetical scenarios for an alternative future in every aspect of human life, from changes relating to the life of an individual human being to changes within complex social structures, and, ultimately, in e.g. nations. The assumptions of cognitive futurology generally boil down to the maxim „probability and predictability in every aspect of human life”. In other words, the subject of futurological considerations encompasses all products of human activity, both material and abstract. However, here futurology is divided thematically and distinguished in accord with a given specific specialised task, e.g. within the framework of social anthropology (or, broadly understood, cultural studies) as well as of philosophy. Thus, one can point to popular futurology, or the popularisation of specific fields of knowledge through science-fiction literature, e.g. The Road (2006) by Cormac McCarthy. In addition to popular futurology, there is also analytical futurology, whose task is to create and analyse alternative futures. The proposed presentation will be devoted to this latter issue as well.
