Rapid changes in technologies and digitalization challenges caused by Industry 4.0 with the integration of the AI, machine learning algorithms, internet of things’ technologies, introduction of maritime autonomous surface ships and the development of digital shipping and logistics processes require proper education and training of specialists working in maritime industry to ensure safety and security of people, oceans, goods and environment. The shipping and logistic processes and operations, including the decision-making processes, on the global scale and on the scale of whole-organisation ecosystems become more dependent on the manipulation of data from different unstructured open sources and private data sets, increased amount of data stream from sensorial systems. The specialists working with automated systems need competences to use and interpret special data, engineering and analysis algorithms, and skills in using modelling tools of optimised solutions in shipping and logistics. Educational institutions have to be ready to present effective solutions to educate quickly adaptable specialists able to meet volatile labour market needs able to meet digitalization challenges. The case study of the Lithuanian Maritime Academy (LMA) presented in the paper is based on the use of an integrative approach and work integrated learning with the aim of enabling the educational environment to develop proper competencies of the specialists of shipping and logistics information systems.

Opis:
Our contribution is devoted to study the ability of future chemistry teachers to organise pupils’ observation of chemical phenomena. In this article measuring of multi-level means is described, which should denote a readiness of probands to perform an observation during carrying out chemical experiment. It is based on the assumption that well-prepared observers are able to work actively and to propose alternative solutions, because of their deep understanding of a procedure. In next part of this article the results of a research carried out at Faculty of Natural Sciences in Bratislava are analysed. The research was also aimed to detect if students are prepared to perform chemical experiments without a risk that they will be confused by a procedure or different course of experiment as they had expected.
W naszej pracy badaliśmy przygotowanie przyszłych nauczycieli chemii, czy jest ono wystarczająco efektywne z punktu widzenia organizacji i demonstracji uczniom zjawisk chemicznych. W artykule opisano średnie wartości wielopoziomowych pomiarów, które powinny wskazywać gotowość badanych do prowadzenia obserwacji w trakcie trwania eksperymentu. Bazowano na założeniu, że dobrze przygotowany obserwator jest w stanie aktywnie działać mimo niedostatecznej dokładności opisu doświadczenia i jest w stanie zaproponować alternatywne rozwiązania. W kolejnej części artykułu przeanalizowano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych na Wydziale Nauk Przyrodniczych w Bratysławie. Badania miały także na celu ocenę przygotowania studentów do wykonywania eksperymentów chemicznych bez ryzyka, że zostaną oni zaskoczeni innym od oczekiwanego przebiegiem doświadczenia.

The present study precisely conveys the methodology of developing a three-dimensional (3D) architectural model of a villa with its walk-through and displaying the model in virtual reality, which as a result, be used by the clients to spectate, customize and buy the real estate property. Additionally, the case study highlights the advancement in architecture, as certain specifications of each element of a 3D model can be viewed in a virtual environment. Virtual reality is a transpiring platform, and in addition to that, the real-estate sector shows its incorporation in designing, marketing, and selling projects. The teaching and learning process can be eased out by intervening it with technology that generates an enhanced visualization environment. These technologies, when used constructively, save time and energy and also hoard economic standards ensuing lucrative benefits.

Punktem wyjścia projektowanych analiz było przekonanie i wychodzące z niego założenie, że zdroworozsądkowa wiedza badanej młodzieży dotycząca postrzegania siebie i identyfikowania zagadnień związanych z zagadnieniem tego jakim pragną stać się człowiekiem ma charakter funkcjonalny, bezsprzecznie związany z płaszczyzną, na której młody człowiek opiera proces budowania własnej tożsamości. Kanwę prezentowanego procesu badawczego stanowiła swobodna wypowiedź pisemna o charakterze informacyjno-refleksyjnym. Badani rozwijali temat i wyjaśniali go przedstawiając swoje poglądy. Zamierzeniem było pokazanie sposobu, w jaki młody człowiek postrzega własną przyszłość, a tym samym ukazanie perspektywy jednego z aspektów jego tożsamości.
The starting point of the designed analysis was the conviction and an assumption stemming from it that commonsense knowledge of the tested youth concerning self-perception and identifying the issues related to the idea of what kind of persons they wish to become is of functional nature, undoubtedly related to the surface on which a young person’s bases the process of building his or her own identity. The basis of the presented research process was a free written answer of information-reflection nature. The research participants developed the topic and explained it by presenting their own views. The intention was to reveal the way in which a young person perceives his or her own future and thus, to show the perspectives of one of the aspects of their identity.

Engineers education is a difficult and damaging process in dynamically changing conditions in the modern labor market. Theoretical and practical knowledge, which is being provided them, must be (at every level of education) strictly compatible with labor market needs. This situation requires providing future engineers contact with real working conditions. It significantly affects better conformity of future engineer qualifications to employers' demand. This article presents initiatives selected in this area, which are being taken by Polish universities. The authors indicate a group of key competencies of future employees-engineers and characterize potential way of the development of their key skills and competencies in the context of e-learning courses.
Kształcenie inżynierów we współczesnych dynamicznie zmieniających się warunkach na rynku pracy jest procesem trudnym i wymagającym. Dostarczenie przyszłym inżynierom wiedzy teoretycznej i praktycznej musi być, na każdym poziomie nauki, ściśle kompatybilne z potrzebami rynku pracy. Taka sytuacja wymaga odpowiedniego zapewnienia kontaktu przyszłych inżynierów z realnymi warunkami pracy, co znacząco wpływa na lepsze dostosowanie kwalifikacji przyszłego inżyniera do zapotrzebowania jakie zgłaszają pracodawcy. W niniejszym referacie przedstawiono wybrane w tym obszarze inicjatywy podejmowane przez polskie uczelnie, wskazano na grupę kluczowych kompetencji przyszłych pracowników-inżynierów oraz scharakteryzowano potencjalne możliwości kształtowania ich kluczowych umiejętności i kompetencji w ramach zajęć e-learningowych.

The article considers the problems of creativity development of higher education students at a bachelor’s level in „Preschool Education” in professional training. Creativity is defined as an integrated quality of the future educator of preschool children in kindergarten, and the importance of creative thinking development during the assimilation of educational components of the professional direction is determined. Modern approaches to the problem of creativity and the selection of different types, factors and criteria suggest that this category has a multidimensional nature, and creativity itself is considered today a necessity in the life of modern man. The essence of the concept of „pedagogical conditions” is revealed. The pedagogical conditions for the effective development of creative thinking of future educators of preschool children that improve the quality of professional training in higher education are considered. Three conditions of creative thinking development of higher education students of the preschool profile are substantiated. They are the use of innovative pedagogical technologies, forms, methods and techniques for activating the creative potential of higher education students of „Preschool Education” speciality in the educational process of higher education institutions; ensuring the problematic nature of the educational process of future educators of preschool children; active practice-oriented activities of future educators of preschool children. Innovative pedagogical technologies and leading methods of work with future educators of preschool children are projects, quests, training sessions, and classes based on certain methods of the theory of inventive problems (MTIP). They allow teachers to guide students of higher education to self-improvement and self-realisation, creative activity, and future professionals to master their knowledge, skills, and abilities to solve specific educational problems in preschool, apply creative approaches, and develop communication and organisational skills. Modern approaches to the problem of creativity, the selection of different types, factors and criteria suggest that this category has a multidimensional nature, and creativity itself is considered today a necessity in the life of modern man.

The article deals with the reflection on the significance and meaning of human life experience as a way to raise awareness about himself, other people and the world. The author raises a lot of questions about the human condition and the world, evoking obvious examples from the life of a single individual and the community, and reflects on the shortcomings in the training and education that have caused them. In the meantime, she wonders and turns the reader into thinking about the status of loved ones, families, the environment of the deep pathologies, transmitted through generations, as the effects of the world wars and quarels at home on quality of life for the young generation. According the author it requires special inspection of such quality as: will and making choices, own example, as well as self-esteem and responsibility for his life and health. Through a question about its meaning and significance, she reminds the reader a great need to ask himself his personal question how everybody may influence the environment and bring solutions for individual and global problems. The author draws conclusions for education for the future, avoiding any therapy over years for both individuals and social pathology.

Dalekosiężne cele komunikacji i transportu są integracją myślenia o ruchu drogowym, działania operacyjnego, sytuacyjnego i strategicznego tworzącego: percepcję, uwagę, pamięć i myślenie, pozwalające tworzyć całość, przewidywanie, ideacje i konkretyzacje powodujące zmiany znaczeniowe i proceduralne w torach emocjonalnych, intelektualnych i motorycznych. Nasze działanie i myślenie można przygotować przez dostosowanie do nadchodzącej przyszłości. Wolna wola i swoboda jest ograniczona rozumieniem ograniczeń materialnych, intelektualnych i duchowych: jest w naszym władaniu i może wytworzyć dobro lub zło, bezpieczeństwo lub katastrofę ludzkości, świadomość lub niewiedzę. Edukacja jest nadzieją na dalekosiężną przyszłość. Krótkowzroczność, brak wiedzy i przewidywania jest chorobą naszych czasów. Komunikacja i transport jako ruch przenosi nas z niepewności w przewidywanie oraz w celne dopasowywanie wiedzy i umiejętności do zmieniającej się realności naszego otoczenia. Skuteczne plany, kreatywność, prowadzenie nowych technologii transportowych i ruchu o różnej modalności transportu, prowadzą do przemieszczeń tworzących wspólne budowanie i powiązania społeczne. Duma z nowoczesnych technologii transportowych i opracowań tworzy nowoczesność i współpracę społeczną, tworzy też integrację budującą. Przewidywanie i prognozowanie indywidualne i społeczne są szansą na przetrwanie, pokonanie kataklizmów i błędów cywilizacji. Z kolei niedoskonałość nowych celów rozwoju i racjonalizacji gospodarowania ziemią, tworzy brak szans na przetrwanie i na kreślenie wyobrażeń strategicznych. Nieuporządkowanie myślenia i przewidywania odnośnie do transportu zmniejsza szanse na rozwój i przeżycie ludzkości. Rozwój pedagogiki i psychologii transportu tworzy szanse na pomyślne życie, pozwala na tworzenia wartości nowych, umiejętności upraktycznionych, upraktycznionej wiedzy proceduralnej i strategii w realnych warunkach ekologicznych, zdrowotnych i psychospołecznych, w jakich funkcjonują ludzie.
The long-term goals of communication and transport are the integration of thinking about traffic, operational behavior, situational and strategic actions creating: perceptions, attention, memory and thinking, allowing to create the whole, prediction, ideation and concretization causing changes in meaning and procedures in the emotional and motor tracks of human intellectual activity. Our actions and thinking can be prepared by adapting to the future. Free will and freedom is limited by the understanding of material, intellectual and spiritual limitations: it is in our possession and can produce good or evil, security or catastrophe of humanity, consciousness or ignorance. Education is hope for a far-reaching future. Myopia, lack of knowledge and inability to predict is a disease of our time. Communication and transport, as a move, move us from uncertainty into anticipation and accurate matching of knowledge and skills to the changing reality of our environment. Effective plans, creativity, introduction of new transport technologies and traffic with different transport modalities lead to displacements creating joint building and social connections. Pride in modern transport technologies and studies, creates modernity and social cooperation, and creates fruitful  integration. Individual and social prediction and forecasting are a chance to survive, overcome cataclysms and civilization errors. In turn, the imperfection of new development goals and lack of rationalization of land management, creates a lack of opportunities for survival and for drawing strategic ideas. Disorderly thinking and anticipation about transport reduces the chances of humanity's development and survival. The development of transport pedagogy and transport psychology creates opportunities for a successful life, which allows creating new values, practical skills, practical procedural knowledge and strategies in real ecological, health and psychosocial conditions in which people operate.

The management of organisations functioning in the contemporary world, which is characterised by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), requires specific future-oriented competences from employees. The paper aims to discuss the possibility of applying foresight and Futures Literacy approaches, known for dealing with uncertainty, in the process of developing such competences. Against the background of the state-of-the-art analysis comprising (1) the contexts, in which uncertainty is tackled in fore-sight and Futures Literacy exercises, and (2) the contexts, in which the future of work is analysed in connection with foresight and Futures Literacy, the authors discuss and confirm the possibility of applying the mentioned anticipation approaches to develop future-oriented competences, namely competences on the individual level, enabling one to cope with the increasing uncertainty characterising the VUCA world. The focus of the paper relates to the aspects that are still understudied or require additional strengthening: (1) the development of competences on an individual level using foresight and Futures Literacy approaches, and (2) incorporating foresight and Futures Literacy at the level of higher education. The paper presents examples of activities undertaken in this area, however, their number is still limited.

CEL BADAŃ: Celem badania jest przedstawienie doświadczeń wojennych w odniesieniu do konkretnego kontekstu historycznego, który ma wartość edukacyjną i wychowawczą. PROBLEM I METODY BADAWCZE: Główny problem niniejszego opracowania związany jest z pytaniem, jakie znaczenie ma przekazywanie przyszłym pokoleniom wiedzy o zbrodni ludobójstwa (dokonanej przez hitlerowców w Wąskim Lesie). Zastosowano metodologię badawczą wypracowaną w ramach projektów studiów memorialnych i etnohistorycznych. PROCES WYWODU: Omówiono zbrodnię ludobójstwa popełnioną przez nazistów w Wąskim Lesie, by na tym tle opisać mechanizmy prowadzące do eksterminacji ofiar, ale i rolę takich jednostek, które przeciwstawiały się złu. WYNIKI ANALIZY NAUKOWEJ: Edukacja historyczna pomaga uświadomić młodym ludziom, jak ważne jest przeciwstawianie się złu dla dobra innych, ale także dla własnej przyszłości. WNIOSKI, INNOWACJE I REKOMENDACJE: Wiedza o zbrodniach i mechanizmach prowadzących do zła powinna być powodem głębokiej refleksji młodych ludzi, aby potrafili stawić czoła zagrożeniom współczesnego świata.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study is to present the war experiences in relation to a specific historical context that has educational and educational value. THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: The main problem of this study is related to the question of what is the importance of passing on the knowledge of the crime of genocide (committed by the Nazis in the Wąski Las) to future generations. The research methodology developed in the framework of memorial and ethnohistorical studies projects was applied. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: At first, the crimes of genocide committed by the Nazis in the Narrow Forest are presented. The mechanisms leading to violence and the importance that individuals who oppose the crimes can have are also described. RESEARCH RESULTS: History education helps to make young people aware of the importance of opposing evil for the sake of others, but also for their own future. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Knowledge about crimes and mechanisms leading to evil should be a reason for deep reflection of young people, so that they can face the threats of the modern world.

The article deals with the evolution of the role of research activity of managers as a problem of pedagogical theory and practice, features of the current practices of their training to research and methodological support, the place and the effective resolution of manager research tasks based on the specific features of the profession.

The article aims to make a critical reflection, theoretical and practical, on the school and its functioning in the context of shaping the desired competences among graduates that distinguish them on the labour market. It is a strong impression that young people in the Polish classroom system still play the role of passive recipients of educational services rather than independent creators. Thus, there is a clear need to create high-quality bridges between the areas of pedagogical support for students in their educational and professional choices and the labour market and employers’ space in Poland. Education “ever anew” is the one that continually changes, adjusts its forms and contents to the changing socio-economic reality, creates a new quality focused on an individual and demanding recipient. The introduction takes the form of a brief reflection on the current dynamics of educational and professional life and the competences that will be needed in the future. The next section presents selected contexts and the diversity of the conditions of educational spaces in Poland. The summary contains inspiration for selected aspects of the future of education, such as the concept of learning in cyber parks and the use of “creative confidence” in learning.

Celem artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie scenariuszy rynku pracy przyszłości, opracowanych przez Infuture Institute Natalii Hatalskiej (np. Jobs are for robots; Hollywood work mode; Always under control; Social workers for planet and nature; Unending Employee) oraz scenariuszy edukacji przyszłości (Hyperpersonalised education; Technologised humanism; Reactive adaptation; Inclusive innovation), powstałych także w Infuture Institute Natalii Hatalskiej we współpracy z Collegium Da Vinci w Poznaniu. Wskazują one na zasadnicze tendencje zmian przewidywanych w nadchodzącym ćwierćwieczu. Niezależnie od skuteczności predykcyjnej tych scenariuszy mogą się one stać podstawą refleksji dotyczących wyzwań przyszłości w kontekście globalnym i jednostkowym. Ten ostatni wymiar wiąże się z szeregiem sytuacji trudnych/kryzysowych w konstruowaniu i przebiegu karier edukacyjno--zawodowych ludzi, z których wybrane wskazano w tekście. Deskrypcji dokonano w oparciu o metodę desk research. Prowadzone analizy prowadzą do wniosku o rosnącym zapotrzebowaniu na różnego rodzaju pomoc i poradnictwo, co uwarunkowane jest dynamizacją zmian społecznych i ich nieprzewidywalnością.
This paper depicts future scenarios for the labour market (e.g. Jobs are for Robots; Hollywood Work Mode; Always under Control; Social Workers for the Planet and Nature; Unending Employee) and education (Hyper-personalised Education; Technologised Humanism; Reactive Adaptation; Inclusive Innovation) developed by the Infuture Institute founded by Natalia Hatalska in collaboration with the Da Vinci College, Poznań. The scenarios envisage change tendencies that are likely to emerge over the coming twenty-five years. Regardless of their predictive effectiveness, the scenarios may become a starting point for reflection on future challenges for individuals and the planet. Individual challenges involve an array of difficult/crisis situations that people experience as they construct and pursue their educational and work careers. The paper addresses some of these obstacles and argues that the demand for various helping and counselling interventions is likely to grow as a result of the acceleration and unpredictability of social changes.

This paper presents the development of the didactics of geography at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana from its beginnings in the 19th century up to the present day. Important milestones are discussed and the present situation described. The author first discusses how different approaches were developed over the years, then focuses on the current situation through the presentation of some selected ways of educating, equipping and developing a good (future) geography teacher.

The article deals with the essence and functions of sociocultural education as the mean of purposeful management of pupils’ socialization. The content of the notions “public education” and “social education” are grounded. The rules of sociocultural education in the context of pedagogical activity of primary school teacher: dependence of the aim, content, methods, facilities and forms of pedagogical activity on teaching and educational situations and the conditions of its performance; humanistic and cultural direction of social and pedagogical process in microenvironment of school; integrity and system approach of social and educational influences of a teacher in the aspect of prevention of negative pupils’ actions, provision of optimal management of educational process for achieving results, maximum possible in such conditions; conditionality of educational success by level of professional teacher’s mastering; necessity of coordination of social and educational influences of school, family and society.
