Due to a growing demand for liquid fuels in Poland, there is a need to organize their transport and distribution. Companies involved in extraction, processing and distribution and wholesale of crude oil and its products, have been operating on the fuel market for almost one century. In Poland, 700-900 thousand tons of crude oil is extracted every year, whereas the demand of Polish oil refineries for this resource is 20 mln tons, yearly. This paper describes the liquid fuel distribution system and the quality of services available at the filling station known international oil company. Characterized demand for liquid fuels in terms of their kind on the Polish market, using the results of the Polish Organization of Oil Industry and Trade in 2012. As the description of the test stations and characterized the sale of liquid fuels (type and quantity of fuel sold). It provides guidance on the company's distribution and service quality. Using the available literature shows you how to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of the distribution system. In times of global crisis, it is advisable to seek to improve the sales of liquid fuels, better organize the transport of fuel to the station to meet the demand for liquid fuels using economic methods. The company, to which the station has developed a distribution system according to your requirements, set the quality level of customer service. These activities are aimed at by increasing the efficiency of distribution and quality of services to increase sales and increase cooperation with regular customers.

Hydrogen is an element commonly found in nature, although mainly as its compounds like water, hydrocarbons − natural gas, crude oil, etc. Hydrogen as a fuel seems to be almost perfect − pollutants (including microdusts) or greenhouse gases are practically not emitted. It is problematic to build sealed hydrogen tanks or transmission installations, guaranteeing safe operation. Due to the physicochemical properties of hydrogen, it is a relatively small molecule which can easily penetrate the structure of metals or other materials from which the tanks or transmission installations are built. One solution is to use chemical tanks, i.e. substances that easily absorb hydrogen and desorb of H2 at an increased temperature. Despite the described problems, it seems that it is the fuel of the future, and intensive research on hydrogen fuel are carried out, among others in the USA, EU countries (especially Germany), Japan or China, etc.

Opis:
Many new zero-emission propulsion technologies are being developed today due to the need to reduce the atmospheric carbon dioxide emissions. The impact of the transport sector on the environment drives a need for innovation, including innovation in the rail transport sector specifically. At the TRAKO fair of rail vehicles the newest technological solutions have been presented. These new vehicles are expected to take over the rail transport sector in the coming decades. Many of the presented solutions and prototypes focused on using hydrogen as fuel for a system of hydrogen fuel cells, which are then used to produce the electricity needed to drive the vehicle. The development of hydrogen fuel technologies in vehicle drives in recent years allowed for a set of new solutions to appear for all types of rail vehicles and applications. Hydrogen powered rail vehicles for transporting cargo, passengers, and shunting vehicles have been shown. This article provides a discussion of the newest hydrogen solutions and vehicles sent to the market. It was determined that the adoption of such solutions will be mainly restricted by the relative cost of the hydrogen fuel rather than the vehicles or fuel cell technologies themselves. The cost of hydrogen production, when powered by renewable Energy sources to enable reduced carbon dioxide emissions, would need to be reduced to at least $2.50 /kg of fuel in order to satisfy the requirements for widespread adoption.

Opis:
The paper presents the latest experimental results of smali power two-stroke engine with electronic controlled high pressure direct fuel injection. The work is one of the first solutions in such engines in Poland and was provided on industrial engine with capacity 115 cm3. A special experimental eąuipment and electronic control of fuel dose and injection phases enables to obtain a big decrease of specific fuel consumption and exhaust gas emission, particularly hydrocarbons with the same level of torque. Applying of direct injection in small power two-stroke engine gives possibility tofulfil exhaust emission reguirements. The paper presents the experimental stand and fuel injection system with results of main engine parameters and emission of chosen chemical components. The configuration of injection system was designed on the basis of previous simulation test in GT-Power and KIVA3V. Earlier fuel injection influences on better evaporation and mixture formation with small stratification, which enables full mixture combustion. Direct fuel injection in two-stroke engine decreases hydrocarbon emission 10 times and specific fuel consumption about 30% in comparison to carburetted engine. Exhaust gas emission is on level off our stroke engines with low emission of NOx. The engine was equipped with conventional automotive injector, which was not suited to small cylinder capacity. . On the basis of the simulations and experimental tests a main conclusion can be drawn, that the spray guided direct fuel injection is a way to obtain cleaner and more effective two-stroke engine for small power units.

Opis:
The study presents a draft calculation of fuel consumption and emission of CO2, CO, HC and NOx by a engine car used in real traffic conditions. In this project, the author was inspired by the results of his own studies and those of selected domestic and foreign research centres. The (static) engine performance maps including Brake Specific Fuel Consumption maps, ge (CO2), and maps of speciftc emission of CO, HC and NOX,, serve as the basis for this study. Underlying such an approach are the disparate courses offuel consumption and emission levels in the driving and non-driving modes of the engine. For the study purposes, an adeąuate testing programme should be implemented, using a variable driving cycle [1]. A departure from the homologation cycles applied to this end allows covering, on an engine performance map, the area of engine operation being of interest to us with measuring points. For calculations in operational conditions, the maps of changes of Delta ge, Delta CO2, Delta CO, Delta HC and Delta NOX for nonstationary operating conditions of the engine will be a complement to static engine performance maps. The author has already developed partial maps for the first two parameters. The development of the others requires the implementation of a costly research scheme in cooperation with a leading domestic research centre.
