    The digital economy has led to massive changes in the economy and international trading, where user data have become the cornerstone of new business models. Digital services have become transformational and led to significant revenue generation for these corporations. However, there is a growing perception amongst individuals and governments that these digital services are not taxed fairly, given the ability of companies to shift profits between different countries. Digital service taxes have recently become very attractive and implemented in a variety of countries, but significant challenges remain. Artificial intelligence has become an attractive way of determining patterns across data and has been increasingly utilized in legal environments. I will outline a new legal framework for the integration of artificial intelligence for the determination of digital service taxes and outline the integration of subsea cable communication data into the framework. Furthermore, I will address the legal environmental challenges, specifically related to the South China Sea, and how cost associated with can be incorporated into the digital service tax environment.

    The issue of citizenship has been one of the main topics of political thinking since antiquity, when its origins were significantly shaped by classical philosophers, whose ideas are also important for modern thinking. Gradually, with the intensification of globalization many new conceptualizations of the classical concept of citizenship were formulated to address global challenges. These shift away from the basic view of the interconnectedness of citizenship with a specific territory and give humans a wider, global identity with an associated appeal to global responsibility. One such concept is environmental citizenship. This article is aimed at examining the historical development of citizenship, particularly in its republican and liberal versions, and its conceptualisation in the context of environmental problems that overcome national borders. The demands on citizens must be adapted to this reality. This article highlights the growing potential of environmental citizenship as one of the possible key factors for achieving a more sustainable world, which however requires the active involvement of nation-states.

    Opis:
    The aim of the research is to determine the accuracy of defining factors for supply chain performance. The most used factors in the literature are: sharing information, responding to challenges, cooperation among members, relationships, and trust. The method of the study is meta-analysis. Our results suggest that the effect of the examined factors on the performance is not complete, and the inclusion of other factors in later studies is indispensable because the results obtained indicate the presence of unknown influencing factors. The effect of the examined factors in the whole population is likely to be positive, but weak or moderate.
    Celem badań jest określenie dokładności definiowania czynników dla wydajności łańcucha dostaw. Najczęściej używane czynniki w literaturze to: dzielenie się informacjami, reagowanie na zapytania, współpraca między członkami, relacje i zaufanie. Metodą badania jest metaanaliza. Rezultaty studium sugerują, że wpływ badanych czynników na wydajność nie jest kompletny, a włączenie innych czynników do późniejszych badań jest niezbędne, ponieważ uzyskane wyniki wskazują na obecność nieznanych czynników wpływających. Wpływ badanych czynników na całą populację będzie prawdopodobnie pozytywny, ale słaby lub umiarkowany.

    It is an imperative to find a proper way to maintain a balance between the economic development and natural environment’s carrying capacity, which is needed for the wellbeing and sustenance of human as well as non-human world. Balancing the economic growth and environmental quality has always been a challenge for business. In recent years, business has brought immeasurable wealth and prosperity. However, it has also caused unintended environmental degradation. Economic development is necessary to face the need of growing population but it should not add to a deteriorating environment. There is a need for broader ethical responses for environmental sustainability. The search for a sustainable future requires an integration of economic development with ethical objectives and scientific knowledge. Sustainability is a concept of continuance, relationships, and orientations. The paper deals with three interrelated ethical concepts, (1) corporate moral status, (2) corporate moral status to include human beings, (3) corporate moral status to include natural environment as a path of environmental sustainability.
    Imperatyw nakazujący odnalezienie właściwego sposobu na utrzymanie równowago pomiędzy rozwojem ekonomicznym a pojemnością środowiska naturalnego jest niezbędny dla dobrostanu i trwania tak ludzkiego, jak i poza ludzkiego świata. Relacje pomiędzy wzrostem ekonomicznym a jakością środowiska stanowiły zawsze wyzwanie dla biznesu. Ostatnie lata oznaczały dla biznesu niemal niezmierzone bogactwo i dobrobyt. Zarazem doprowadzono do istotnej degradacji środowiska. Rozwój ekonomiczny jest niezbędny dla sprostania potrzebom rosnącej populacji ludzkiej, niemniej nie powinien pociągać za sobą ciągłego pogarszania się stanu środowiska. Niezbędne jest uwzględnienie etyki w dyskusji o zrównoważoności środowiskowej. Jeżeli przyszłość ma być zrównoważona, niezbędna jest integracja rozwoju ekonomicznego z nakazami etycznymi i wiedzą naukową. Zrównoważoność to koncepcja kontynuacji, budowania relacji i orientacji. W artykule przedstawiono trzy wzajemnie powiązane koncepcje etyczne: (1) status moralny korporacji, (2) status moralny korporacji uwzględniający człowieka, (3) status moralny korporacji uwzględniający środowisko naturalne jako drogę do zrównoważoności.

    Opis:
    The development of agricultural policy is becoming a more and more difficult task. The number of factors which should be taken into account continues to grow, while at the same time there is an increased diversification of agricultural needs as well as higher consumer and taxpayer expectations. In this situation, the approach to agricultural policy-making used so far does not function properly. The final shape of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in the new multiannual financing frameworks of the European Union has not been fully established yet. The work has been prolonged for many reasons. The current European Commission pays much attention to environmental and climate challenges, proposing the implementation of the European Green Deal strategy. One of the key elements of this development concept is the “Farm to Fork” strategy, which indicates the directions of transformation of food systems in the EU. A question arises whether the proposed shape of the EU strategy for agriculture is optimal in terms of challenges faced by this sector. Complexity economics may be an answer to this question, as it offers an approach to policy-making based on the recognition of the complexity of socio-economic systems and their specific dynamics requiring a specific shape of actions taken by the state.
    Tworzenie polityki rolnej staje się coraz trudniejszym zadaniem. Liczba czynników, które należy wziąć pod uwagę, systematycznie rośnie, jednocześnie następuje wzrost zróżnicowania potrzeb rolnictwa, jak i oczekiwań konsumentów i podatników. W tej sytuacji dotychczasowe podejście do kreowania polityki rolnej przestaje zdawać egzamin. Ostateczny kształt wspólnej polityki rolnej (WPR) w nowych wieloletnich ramach finansowania Unii Europejskiej nie został jeszcze w pełni ustalony. Prace przedłużają się z wielu różnych powodów. Obecna Komisja Europejska wiele uwagi poświęca wyzwaniom środowiskowo-klimatycznym, proponując realizację strategii Europejski Zielony Ład. Jednym z kluczowych elementów tej koncepcji rozwojowej jest strategia „Od pola do stołu”, która wskazuje kierunki transformacji systemów żywnościowych w UE. Pojawia się pytanie, czy zaproponowany kształt strategii UE wobec rolnictwa jest optymalny z punktu widzenia stojących przed tym sektorem wyzwań. Odpowiedzi na to pytanie może udzielić ekonomia złożoności, która oferuje podejście do tworzenia polityki bazujące na dostrzeżeniu złożoności systemów społeczno-ekonomicznych i ich specyficznej dynamiki wymagającej określonego ukształtowania podejmowanych przez państwo działań. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja ekonomii złożoności jako podejścia odpowiedniego do tworzenia polityki rolnej w kontekście wielu zróżnicowanych wyzwań stojących przed tym sektorem oraz wskazanie, na ile obecnie tworzona polityka rolna uwzględnia wskazówki ekonomii złożoności.

    Urban development is the social, cultural, economic and physical development of cities, as well as the underlying causes of these processes. Urban development are now so fundamental to the world's economy, society, and environment, that making a better urban world and improving urban life really means making a better world for everyone. Nevertheless, it has made up many challenges on environmental, social, physical factors in globe. The Eravur urban has many development procedures occurring through the Local Authority by the population growth. Such as, infrastructure development, resettlement process, industrial and business development plans. However, such processes are becoming many negative impacts for social, human and environmental structure. The research objectives based on find out the causes for urban development, to find out the environmental, social and economic challenges within the area. The study used the methodologies are primary data collection as questionnaire, interview, observation and the secondary data collection. Therefore, this research has concerned about challenges through the urban development and it has identified what are the challenges facing into the urban. Not only it has given advice to create a successful urban toward the future sustainably. I believe, it should evaluate the problems by development process and it will help for a great urban formation in Eravur.

    Purpose: Nowadays environmental education associated with sustainable development presents a critical social challenge. The objective of this study was to identify and assess the interest in sustainable development, along with initiatives undertaken in this respect, by the students of selected university courses. The sample consisted of the students of management, who, due to the specific character of their education, will prospectively manage organizations or become entrepreneurs, i.e. will become responsible for setting the trends for the development of organizations. Design/methodology/approach: The subject matter of the present study pertains to environment-friendly attitudes of the students of selected universities in Lublin. The study was conducted by means of a diagnostic poll which was developed on the basis of the review of literature. Findings: The analysis of the results of the study revealed that respondents’ awareness regarding the impact of individuals upon the environment is strong. However, certain shortages were observed with regard to the impact of enterprises upon the natural environment. Research limitations/implications: It seems advisable to conduct this research also with students from other faculties. Practical implications: It seems advisable to commence environmental education during undergraduate studies so that students recognize the impact of enterprises upon the natural environment as early as possible. Originality/value: The article contains new research results about environmental education associated with sustainable development, which were conducted based on the self-developed questionnaire.
