    Opis:
    The content of the article is an analysis of two different concepts of children’s playgrounds, one of which is a standard urban/pre-school playground, reproduced in countless variations, and the other is an individualised variation of an adventure playground. The criterion of the analysis was the concept of a non-place by Marc Augé and the pedagogical concept of a place by Maria Mendel, Dorota Klus-Stańska, Jolanta Zwiernik. The analysis has identified two types of discourses that characterize adult organizers of children’s playgrounds: care discourse and emancipatory discourse. The care discourse is a manifestation of concern for children’s safety and it is revealed in the organization of space and delimitation of children’s activity in standard playgrounds, which makes it a place for children (non-place in the Augé concept). The emancipatory discourse makes use of the educational advantages offered by adventure playgrounds and by creating the conditions to increase the participation of children in the life of their community now and in the future makes them children’s place.

    Opis:
    This article presents an analysis of discourses on the subject of parental involvement in school education of a child and aims to emphasize the complexity of the topic and the diversity of research positions, as well as further practical implications for the theoretical assumptions adopted. Initial considerations present the terminology functioning in the context of the parent-school relationship. Concepts such as cooperation and partnership (familiar in Poland) have been juxtaposed with English-language concepts engagement and involvement, relating to the participation in the child’s education and/or supporting a child during learning. While English-language terminology stresses the function of this involvement and participation, which is improving the child’s school achievements, the concepts of cooperation and partnership, prevalent in Poland, emphasize the very essence of the relationship and its determinants. In this work, these concepts are presented against the background of the dominant instrumental-technical discourse and a less-emerging but very important critical-emancipatory discourse. Looking at the issue from different sides and analyzing its multifaceted structure allows to broaden the knowledge about the “figure” of a parent who is now emerging in education as a participant in the space of family-school relations.

    Badany typ dyskursu emancypacyjnego jest wyrazem dążeń środowisk kobiecych do wypracowania własnej przestrzeni w sferze przedsiębiorczości. Instytucjami tego dyskursu są organizacje zachęcające Polki do biznesowego współdziałania. Celem artykułu jest analiza narracji trzech takich instytucji pod kątem typów strategii argumentacyjnych (ethos, pathos, logos) legitymizujących ten dyskurs i ich funkcji. Wyniki badań wskazują na dominującą argumentację etotyczną, która służy m.in. eksponowaniu potrzeby biznesowej samodzielności kobiet oraz akcentowaniu ich wspólnotowości i wzajemnego wsparcia. Praktyki komunikacyjne oparte na pathos cechują jedną z organizacji, której narracja nieco bardziej też zaznacza miejsce jednostki na tle kobiecej wspólnoty. Stylistyka dyskursu wykazuje jego racjonalność i rzeczowość, nie ujawnia radykalnej postawy feminizmu wojującego.  
    The studied emancipatory discourse is an expression of the aspirations of women's movement to develop their own space in the sphere of entrepreneurship. The institutions of this discourse are organisations encouraging Polish women to become entrepreneurs. The aim of this article is to analyse the narratives of three such institutions in terms of the types of argumentative strategies (ethos, pathos, logos) legitimising this discourse and their functions. The findings indicate a dominant ethotic argumentation that serves, among other things, to expose women's need for business autonomy and to emphasize their solidarity and mutual support. Pathos-based persuasive practices characterise one of the organisations whose narrative also marks the place of the individual somewhat more against the background of the female community. The stylistics of the discourse shows its rationality and factuality, and does not reveal the attitudes of a radical, militant feminism.

    W tekście podejmę próbę zrekonstruowania znaczeń wpisanych w dyskurs podręcznikowy i dziecięcy z perspektywy krytyczno-emancypacyjnej. W tym celu posłużę się kategorią dominacji, która umożliwia wskazanie zawartych w podręczniku znaczeń i wartości, narzuconych bądź wyretuszowanych, ustalonych z pominięciem rzeczywistego kontekstu, w jakim uczeń wzrasta, oraz kategorię wyzwolenia, która uprawniając praktykowanie otwartości poznawczej, wprowadza wyłom w tradycyjnym myśleniu o wielowymiarowym dyskursie dziecięcym. Wnioski z badań pozwalają zdystansować się wobec tego, co w danej sferze formatywnej oferuje zinstytucjonalizowana edukacja, i upomnieć się o edukację krytyczną, którą pojmuję za M. Malewskim nie jako grę o wiedzę, kompetencje czy władzę, ale raczej jako grę o lepsze, bardziej świadome i podmiotowe bycie w świecie (Malewski 2010, s. 38).
    The text will attempt to reconstruct the meanings inscribed in the textbook and children discourse from the critical-emancipatory perspective. To this end, I will use the category of domination that provides an indication of the handbook meanings and values imposed or retouched, established without the actual context in which pupils grow up, and the category of liberation, which – entitling the practice of cognitive openness, introduces a breakthrough in the traditional thinking about the multidimensional children discourse. The conclusions from the research allow to distance ourselves towards the product that in the given formative sphere is offered by institutionalized education and to stand up for critical education understood following M. Malewski not as a game for knowledge, competence or power, but rather as a game for a better, more conscious and subject being in the world (Malewski 2010, p. 38).

    This publication is an analysis of media discourse within the television advertising concerning the implementation of nursing roles in the family in the field of care for the health of loved ones. In the article under consideration is the quality of presented patterns of behavior of men and women, which can reproduce the existing stereotypes about gender or provide a contribution to the creation of emancipatory attitudes, adequate to the contemporary changes in the socio - economic. Despite the obvious social trends investing in women more equal rights over the family and professional advertising formulates messages such as: “We do not get sick, we take Vicks”, maintaining the men in the field of “non-existence” in the sphere of health care and the family.
