Opis:
The idea of social integration and integration education is a great challenge not only for the Polish education system, but also for theoretical analyzes and systemic practical solutions aimed at building an integrated society. In relation to people with disabilities is not only an exemplification of the provisions contained in the “Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities” (UN, 2006). It also concerns the change in the social vision of the accessibility of these people to structures existing in contemporary, disability-opening civilized society. However, as demonstrated by the results of research reported in the article, there is still a lot to be done by implementing the postulates created by the ideas of integrating people regardless of their diversity, otherness, physical, mental, and social difference.

Opis:
This paper investigates the issues of education and integration conditions for Vietnamese immigrants’ children in Poland. These points of interest were primarily treated as the additional research connected with our teaching practices. It was conducted as an empirical study with three non-standardised interviews with the families, informal observations, and group discussions. Regardless of the limitation of a perhaps not significantly substantial range of data, the study led to the outlining of some concerns connected with the process of education and integration of the children in these Vietnamese families. The main four findings which are related to the research question are: the cultural differences and expectations of the parents, the language barriers of the parents, the typical stereotypes of educating children at home, and the conflicts of self-identification in the future. The research implied that children from all the immigrant groups should be assessed as to their growth as well as to the quality of their adaptation into the society.

Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badania gotowości młodzieży polskiej i ukraińskiej do integracji szkolnej z uczniami z niepełnosprawnością. W analizie wyników uwzględniono narodowość badanej młodzieży oraz jej doświadczenia w kontaktach z rówieśnikami z niepełnosprawnością w okresie edukacji wczesnoszkolnej. Wyniki badań pokazały, iż doświadczanie kontaktów z rówieśnikami z niepełnosprawnością w okresie wczesnej edukacji może być czynnikiem różnicującym dojrzałość badanych uczniów do uczestnictwa w integracyjnych formach kształcenia.
The article presents the results of the analysis of the readiness of Polish and Ukrainian youthfor school integration with their peers with disabilities. The analysis of the research results tookinto account the nationality of the surveyed youth and their experience in dealing with peers withdisabilities during early childhood education. The research results show that experiencing contactwith peers with disabilities during early education can be a factor differentiating the maturity ofthe surveyed students to participate in inclusive forms of education.

Artykuł prezentuje wyniki analizy demograficznych uwarunkowań gotowości młodzieży do integracji szkolnej z rówieśnikami z niepełnosprawnością. W badaniach uczestniczyło 422 uczniów liceum. Wyniki badań ujawniły istotną rolę płci, miejsca zamieszkania oraz wykształce-nia ojca w określaniu dojrzałość badanych do uczestnictwa w integracyjnych formach edukacji.
The paper presents the results of a demographic analysis of the conditions of youth readiness for school integration of peers with disabilities. The study involved 422 high school students. The findings revealed the important role of gender, place of residence as well as the father's education in determining the maturity of the subjects to participate in integrative forms of education.

Artykuł prezentuje wyniki analizy gotowości młodzieży polskiej i ukraińskiej do integracji szkolnej z rówieśnikami z niepełnosprawnością. W badaniach uczestniczyło 169 uczniów z Ukrainy i 170 uczniów z Polski. Wyniki badań pokazały, iż występują istotne statystycznie różnice między badanymi grupami w zakresie trzech głównych wymiarów analizowanej gotowości integracyjnej.
The article presents the results of the analysis of the readiness of Polish and Ukrainian youthfor school integration with their peers with disabilities. 169 students from Ukraine and 170 students from Poland participated in the analysis. The research results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the study groups in terms of the three main dimensions of theanalysed integration readiness.

The article demonstrates the expediency of integrating of knowledge of the structure and properties of substance and building materials. It is shown that this approach avoids duplication of related material, overcomes inconsistency in the interpretation of concepts, the use of quantities and units of their measurements. Didactic requirements for the implementation of the ideas of integrated learning of related material are substantiated, the integrated content of knowledge of the substance and materials is worked out, different forms and methods of knowledge integration are tested depending on the nature of the integrated material. Special feedback from teachers of special technology and masters of industrial training is received. The training offered by our programs also receives a positive assessment of the students due to the decrease in the workload, the reduction of homework with the same educational significance, the availability of special concepts, the emergence of interest in the study of physics. The experiment reveals that integrated lessons, lectures, laboratory and tests, as well as integrated questions, tasks with integrated content, concretization and supplementation of physical knowledge with general and special ones, use of complex tasks, etc. are found to be effective forms of knowledge integration. Generalization of the results of the experimental work shows the benefits of learning oriented programs that involve the integration of students’ knowledge about the structure and properties of substance and building materials. It is important not to overburden any educational process with excessive integration, but to focus on its optimal use: in fact, the laws of educational integrology are aimed at it.

Tendencies, that is directions outlining the development of the theory of special education and the ongoing organizational changes and program transformations in education of children with disabilities, have definitely prointegrating and proinclusive character. In the Polish reality the accession to the European Union in 2004 had undoubtedly a decisive importance for the implementation and dynamic of changes. That membership has imposed certain obligations to respect and implement EU standards also in the organization of education for children and youth, including education for children with special needs. The aim of the study is to illustrate the transformations taking place in the education of children with disabilities in Poland over the decade, coinciding with the accession to the European Union. It is important to investigate specific data presenting hard information about: institutions, forms of education, students with special needs and the types of psycho-pedagogical and financial support. Presented data were obtained from various sources containing statistical information in the field of education.
Tendencje w rozwoju teorii pedagogiki specjalnej oraz w zakresie zmian organizacyjnych i przeobrażeniach programowych w edukacji dzieci z niepełnosprawnością mają zdecydowanie charakter prointegracyjny i pronormalizacyjny. W polskich realiach decydujące znaczenie dla wdrażania i dynamiki zmian miał niewątpliwie fakt przystąpienia do Unii Europejskiej w 2004 roku. Członkostwo narzuciło określone zobowiązania do przestrzegania standardów unijnych również w zakresie organizacji edukacji dzieci i młodzieży, w tym dzieci ze specjalnymi potrzebami. Celem opracowania jest pokazanie przeobrażeń zachodzących w kształceniu dzieci z niepełnosprawnością w Polsce w ostatniej dekadzie (po przystąpieniu do Unii Europejskiej). Ważne jest prześledzenie konkretnych danych liczbowych prezentujących twarde informacje o: instytucjach, formach edukacji, uczniach o specjalnych potrzebach oraz o rodzajach wsparcia psychologiczno-pedagogicznego i finansowego. Przedstawione dane zostały pozyskane z różnych dostępnych źródeł zawierających informacje statystyczne z zakresu oświaty i wychowania.

Artykuł przedstawia teoretyczne odniesienia związane z integracją osób niepełnosprawnych. W szczególności koncentruje się na samym pojęciu integracja, prawach osób niepełnosprawnych oraz integracji w edukacji. Przytoczono również wyniki badań pilotażowych, które potwierdzają fakt, że klasy integracyjne spełniają swoje funkcje, a mianowicie dają szansę pełnego rozwoju uczniom niepełnosprawnym oraz możliwość nawiązywania przez nich właściwych relacji społecznych ze zdrowymi rówieśnikami. Autorka zaproponowała również, by potraktować społeczeństwo jako całość, bez podziału na zdrowych i chorych, co spowoduje, iż zniknie wiele barier utrudniających traktowanie wszystkich ludzi jako pełnoprawnych członków tej samej społeczności.
In this article the author presents the theoretical references related to the integrationof people with disabilities. In particular, focuses on the notion of integration, the rights ofpersons with disabilities and integration in education. Also covers the results of pilot studiesthat confirm the fact that the integrated classes fulfill its function, namely, give a chance tothe full development of students with disabilities and the ability to establish their proper socialrelationships with healthy peers. The author has also proposed to treat society asa whole, without division into healthy and sick. That could help to disappear many of barriersfor all people and help them to be a full members of the same community.

Opis:
The standard of professional high school education in Latvia envisages including environmental education in the contents of professional schools as a separate subject, however, we see in practice that there are not teaching materials in chemistry education and environmental education provided for professional schools. The problem is even more acute due to the fact that the time provided for teaching chemistry in professional schools is approximately 3 times shorter than that in secondary schools. The research shows us that approximately 40% of professional high school students have knowledge about the character of chemical processes taking place in the environment. One of the main reasons for this insufficiency and the lack of understanding is the absence of didactical teaching materials.
Standardy wyższego kształcenia zawodowego w szkołach na Łotwie przewidują, że w programie nauczania tych szkół edukacja środowiskowa stanowi odrębny przedmiot nauczania. Jednak w praktyce brak jest materiałów dydaktycznych do prowadzenia w tych szkołach nauki chemii i edukacji środowiskowej. Problem ten jest jeszcze bardziej znaczący ze względu na czas przewidziany na nauczanie chemii w szkołach zawodowych, jest on około 3 razy krótszy niż w szkołach średnich. Wyniki badań pokazują, że tylko około 40% uczniów szkół zawodowych posiada wiedzę na temat charakteru procesów chemicznych zachodzących w środowisku. Jednym z głównych powodów tak niskiego poziomu nauczania i braku zrozumienia jest brak odpowiednich materiałów dydaktycznych.

The program for the integration of children with special needs in the regular educational frameworks supports and encourages the integration of children with a variety of special needs, temporary or ongoing, within the context of regular education, and sees integration as both a goal and value. The integration program is operated through a training and treatment system in the educational frameworks, which were formulated according to the special needs of those students. With the increase in the trend towards integration in Israel and the expectation that this trend will grow in the future, it is essential to continue to explore teachers’ perceptions and attitudes regarding integration as well as their needs for training and continuing education. The Arab education system in general and the issue of caring for children with special needs in school, in particular, are at huge gaps. The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on mainstream teachers’ at- titudes towards integration and, more recently, inclusion and to show the need of design research on attitudes of teachers in schools in Arab society in Israel towards the integration of students with special needs into regular classes.

W artykule zaprezentowano propozycję nowego narzędzia do badania gotowości młodzieży do integracji szkolnej z rówieśnikami z niepełnosprawnością. Umieszczono w nim zarówno teore-tyczne podstawy konstrukcji kwestionariusza, jak i jego właściwości psychometryczne. Biorąc pod uwagę uzyskane wyniki, można go uznać za wartościowe narzędzie diagnozowania i monitorowa-nia dojrzałości młodzieży do wchodzenia w relacje interpersonalne z rówieśnikami z niepełno-sprawnością.
The article presents a proposal for a new tool aimed at testing youth readiness for school inte-gration with peers who have disabilities. It contains both the theoretical basis on which the ques-tionnaire was constructed as well as its psychometric properties. Taking into account the results obtained, it can be regarded as a valuable tool for diagnosing and monitoring the maturity of ado-lescents who are to enter into interpersonal relations with disabled peers.

The idea of ensuring Poland the status of power, promoted by Józef Piłsudski’s camp, entailed the need to create a strong state organization and shape consolidated society, homogenous in respect of its world view, solidarily and persistently working for the highest good, that is, the state, if taken into consideration the rhetoric of the sanation camp. This could not be done without the adoption of the appropriate educational doctrine and its conversion into an efficient educational system covering possibly the broadest spectrum of society. As a result, crystallising after 1926, the educational ideology of the sanation became known as the so-called state education, which, by shaping the desired ideal of the citizen – the state adherent – was expected to “remedy” social relations in the country. The school reform of 1932, bringing a new program framework, became its conceptualization. By pointing out shallowness of goals drawn in the old curricula and their excessive vagueness, the authors of the new core curriculum focused on the very practical character of teaching. The slogan that followed it was “Poland and its culture”. It was expected that emphasisng the cultural heritage of Poland would have an integrative value in the ethnically diversed society of the Second Polish Republic. This gave rise to an implication that Poland was the legacy of many nations that created its cultural mosaic, contributing in a unique manner to the continuity of the state, despite its formal, over 100-year absence both on maps and in human consciousness. According to new assumptions, the most important for every citizen was to respect the value of the state, to be devoted to its development, to shape a sense of civic responsibility regardless of belonging to the specified national group. The promotion of these patterns had to take place on many levels of social life, not only on the institutional one. Hence, emphasis was placed on linking didactic work with educational influence and school work with non-school activities. This article deals with the assumptions of curricula in a relation to teaching contents referring to the state education.
Lansowana przez obóz Józefa Piłsudskiego idea budowy wielkomocarstwowej Polski wiązała się z potrzebą stworzenia silnej organizacji państwowej oraz ukształtowania skonsolidowanego, homogenicznego światopoglądowo społeczeństwa, solidarnie i wytrwale pracującego na rzecz dobra najwyższego, czyli – w retoryce sanacyjnej – państwa. Nie mogło się to odbyć bez przyjęcia przez obóz władzy odpowiedniej doktryny wychowawczej i przekucia jej w sprawnie działający system edukacyjny obejmujący jak najszersze kręgi społeczne. W efekcie krystalizująca się po 1926 r. ideologia wychowawcza sanacji zyskała miano tzw. wychowania państwowego2, przez które, urabiając pożądany ideał obywatela-państwowca, spodziewano się „uzdrowić” stosunki społeczne w kraju. Jego konceptualizacją stała się reforma szkolnictwa z 1932 r. przynosząca nową ramę programową. Wytykając starym programom miałkość celów i zbytnią ogólnikowość, autorzy nowej podstawy stawiali na wybitnie praktyczny charakter nauczania. Hasło, jakie miało mu przyświecać, to Polska i jej kultura. Spodziewano się bowiem, iż położenie akcentu na dorobek kulturalny Polski wniesie walor integrujący w zróżnicowane etnicznie społeczeństwo II Rzeczypospolitej. Dawano w ten sposób do zrozumienia, że Polska to spuścizna wielu nacji, które tworzyły jej mozaikę kulturową w swoisty sposób przyczyniającą się do ciągłości państwa, pomimo jego formalnie ponad stuletniej nieobecności zarówno na mapach, jaki i w ludzkiej świadomości. W myśl nowych założeń, najważniejszym dla każdego obywatela winno stać się poszanowanie tej wartości, jakim było państwo, oddanie dla jego rozwoju, kształtowanie poczucia odpowiedzialności obywatelskiej niezależnie od przynależności do grupy narodowej. Krzewienie tychże wzorców musiało odbywać się na wielu płaszczyznach życia społecznego, nie tylko instytucjonalnej. Stąd kładziono nacisk na powiązanie pracy dydaktycznej z oddziaływaniem wychowawczym, pracy szkolnej z pozaszkolną. Niniejszy artykuł zajmuje się analizą założeń programów szkolnych, szkoły powszechnej i średniej pod kątem treści związanych z wychowaniem państwowym.
